UPS incompetent during winter
I'm beginning to think that UPS should only be open during the summer...Been waiting for a package for two weeks now. Everyday the tracking states "adverse weather conditions" or "Emergency." This is ridiculous!!! USPS has delivered things for me along the same route in 203 days, and for less. I am fed up with the boys in brown, and will NOT ever be using them again. If they are having this much trouble with the weather conditions, they need to purchase some four wheel drive vehicles or some little box trucks like USPS. SORRIEST SERVICE EVER! I got no help from customer service as well....
Damaged Packages - Shoddy Delivery Practices by UPS
I purchased a computer battery back-up from a reputable mail order house. It was shipped by UPS. The unit arrived looking like it was used as the ball in the World Cup. Needless to say it was damaged beyond use. It was returned and the seller shipped a second unit, delayed payment, which arrived in worse condition than the first. It too was returned, this time for a refund. I needed a new hard drive, so I ordered one from another outfit. When it arrived, the UPS driver walked to within ten feet (approx) of my front door and threw the package in the general direction thereof. This was witnessed by three people, but before the driver could be confronted he was in his truck and speeding off. Fortunately the hard drive was undamaged although the box took a beating. UPS has a serious problem with its delivery personnel. It might just be this regional, but one would think that they would cherish their jobs in this horrible economy with double digit unemployment. Please comment.
Have argued with UPS for 2 days trying to get a package that was overnighted to me over a week ago finally got it today .They told me for 2 days it would be here at a certain time told me 3 different times of arrival every time I called back they changed the time.I asked about their complaint dept it doesn't exist.I will never use UPS again.On a scale of 1-100 they rank -100.They lie to you and then send you around the world literally,one of my calls was sent to the Philippines.
UPS in Fort Worth, Texas - Worse shipper ever!!!
I have been waiting on this very important package for nearly 2 weeks and ups has had it all along! they need to be shut down. there are hundreds of law suits against ups right now and i think i will add to that number!!! below is the tracking info 02/08/2011 11:48 A.M. UPS has not caught up with deliveries, FedEx is great.
Today is Tuesday February 7th, I cannot believe that UPS has not caught up with the delivering of packages from the blizzard Chicago experienced last Thursday, February 3rd. We have been receiving FedEx since last Thursday, they have not missed a beat. What I despise more than anything as that no one knows what's going on, and you cannot reach anyone at corporate headquarters (the number is not published). What a horrible experience this has been. I have wasted hours trying to get information only to find out our packages are in limbo. We were told yesterday by our delivery person that the packages were in a supervisors truck and would be delivered that day. Why didn't UPS work Saturday and Sunday to catch up. How do companies like this with terrible customer service stay in business?

UPS is a *** Joke every time you call you get a different answer. I payed for a 3 day shipping and it's now a week and going. They keep saying weather, I order from a store that shipped FedEx a few days after the ups shipped and yet I gotten my FedEx. All I want is my package. How hard is it to load it and send it? I think ups is giving jobs to retards. It's funny how in this weather I see UPS trucks all over. *** today I seen one drop a package off across the street from me.

What kind of company is this they make everything complicated. there package is always on hold or was returned to sender after the first try. I honestly hate this company they dont care about there customers. I have Refuse to Purchase anything online that will be deliver through ups for the simple fact that i will never receive it. this company is a decrease an should be in investigated with the department of consumer affairs.... i would never use this company again and i recommend to everyone reading this to boycott this company since they dont care about there customer, they we should give our money to fed ex they probably appreciated more then u.p.s will
UPS messed up with this customer!
I ordered a surround sound system online, and it was delivered by UPS. I have requested a phone call 15 minutes before they arrive at my house so I can be there to receive it and let them pick up the other pkg that this one was replacing! the delivery guy, dropped it at my front door (it's a $900 system with the picture on the front), the box was all banged up and tore up. I just happen to be checking the tracking a couple of hours after it was delivered. What kind of way is that to run a delivery business???
UPS in Dallas, Texas - Failure to deliver
Trying to receive a package through UPS is an odyssey. Drivers make no effort to deliver packages to apartment buildings unless the intended recipient is standing on the doorstep waiting. Customer service over the phone is even worse. Any problems with delivery they automatically blame the sender or the person who placed the order. Every time I've had problems with delivery i was told to contact the shipper to rectify the sender who cannot change anything because UPS will not allow changes to the delivery. Furthermore, customer service representatives make no effort to actually help solve the problem. The only solution they seem to be able to offer is to pick the package up at the nearest center. For most, that is more than a simple drive down the street. Also it rather defeats the purpose of at-home delivery.
UPS in Dallas, Texas - Delivery to wrong address
I often order from a few select companies that ship merchandise via UPS. I live in a rural area and have never had a problem in the past with them delvering packages to my front steps / front porch someone is not home. On Friday I receive a call from a neighbor that we have many issues with that I had a package delivered to their house. First off I was not pleased about this as I had given no authorization for UPS to deliver anywhere but my address. Since its a company I order from frequently - the address on the shipping label was correct. I have gotten two different stories from the neighbors - one is they weren't home when the package was left at their address....the second story was that the UPS truck made no effort to even make a delivery to my house. I consider myself lucky to even get my package back from these neighbors. While I do not wish to get anyone in trouble - I also do not wish to have my packages delivered wherever the driver feels like it. There needs to be accountability.
