"do not order anything from this company they will place order without your approval"

you are very confused sir/maam. UPS is just the company delivering the item, not the one sending you things you didn't order and charging you for them.

if Purity continues to send you things, just refuse them. call UPS at 1-800-742-5877 and tell the operator you want to refuse a package.

they'll come pick it up the next business day. good luck, and may god have mercy on your soul.

UPS in Glendale, California - Stole my Iphone 4, claimed it was damaged.

The UPS Driver was to return the undelivered Iphone 4 on 2/7/11 back to the UPS location for pick up by the receipent. He failed to do so and when I went to pick it up the next day, I was told that the package was "damaged". It was confirmed on Wedneday, 2/9/11 by way of My Verizon Acct. that the phone was activated! UPS and Verizon are still trying to figure this out. Investigating the issue. I the customer is still waiting for my phone! I don't understand why either of these large companies cannot figure out how to satisfy me the customer!

UPS: Changed my address then said it was wrong.

This is the 5th time this has happened to me through UPS. No other carrier does this to me. Every time they are to deliver to me it ends up being a day late as they say the address is incorrect or insufficient. Odd since I live in a small rural town in Indiana where the streets are numbered 1,2,3,4 east and west and A,B,C,D north and south. I live on D street. So once again I call UPS to complain. The customer service rep says they have an incorrect address and reads it off to me. I said no that's the correct one. Then she said, "Oh, well the driver thought it was wrong and changed it from D street to Ludlow street. Then he couldn't find that address." So I provided my vendor with the correct address, UPS had the correct address, but someone at the distribution center or driver decided on a whim to change it? Well why does it happen to me every time? Why do I pay extra for next day shipping and it takes them a couple days just to realize the address on the package is correct.

UPS in Irvine, California - Delivers my packages to the wrong address

UPS frequently mis-delivers my packages to a house with a similar number. Fortunately the neighbor who receives the package instead of me re-delivers it, but not until the next day. I called UPS' "Customer Service" about the wrong deliveries in January, 2011 and she didn't care. She told me to check with my neighbors to see if they got the package by mistake. I'm not going to do UPS' job for them. UPS needs to hire people who care about doing a good job and who are able to read and write. With all the people out of work these days, finding literate employees shouldn't be a problem.

UPS in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - "delivery" by being ditched

I ordered a proflowers delivery for my girlfirend of Valentine's Day. UPS was the chosen delivery service. After waiting for the delivery until around 6, I finally decided to check online and see what the status was, where to my surprise I saw that the delivery had been 'confirmed' at 5:16. The surprising part to this was that the flowers were left on the porch with utterly no attempt made to tell that to the individuals inside the house. The front door was open (The storm door outside that remained closed) and myself and girlfriend were in the front room watching television, some 20 feet from the front door. No knock, door bell ring, or any other attempt was made to communicate that a delivery had been made, as we were unaware for 45 minutes that anyone had been outside. In short, they're a delivery service, knock on the *** door!

UPS in Burlington, Iowa - Insurance that doesn't mean anything

I had a Commercial Gas Cooktop shipped to me via UPS. i arrived and was damaged. I had insurance on it and called the insurance hotline. I had a claim filed within one week. two weeks passed I called again. I was told it was filed and not to worry someone would be in touch a person named John or Brooke. John called about a week later. I was out of town and could not make a meeting with him. we tried to get together at least two other times both instances I was out of town or unavailable. He was going to call me back when i returned from my trip. He never called. I had put the cooktop in storage. I happen to forget about it. I started to re-du my kitchen and relized that I had not got the claim cleared. I called ups and they told me that they could NOT do anything about the damage since it went over the time limit for the claim. I filed the claim properly but they (ups) did NOT follow through....Now I have a $2500 cooktop that will cost Me $1000 to fix. I don't know why I was not follow up on at a latter date. I filed properly, didn't anyone notice that the claim had NOT been settled.

2wks and UPS STILL hasn't delivered my packagage

My online order shipped UPS. 2 Days before we were expected to have snow, their site was updated that it had arrived in a city about 30min from where I live. Later that day their site was updated to "Adverse weather conditions". They didn't bother to attempt to deliver on 2/7 or 2/8 even though the roads were as dry as dirt and snow was forecasted for 2/9. We had some snow on 2/9 but the sun came out and the roads were dry, but they didn't deliver 2/9,2/10,or 2/11. Their site finally updated to out for delivery 2/14 but still didn't deliver. Now it's "Emergency conditions beyond UPS' control" meaning they were too busy delivering valentine's day stuff to worry about delivering my package even though it should have been delivered 2 weeks ago.

UPS in Omaha, Nebraska - VeryLate Delivery

i recieved package by ups that were a week a half late. i recieved a second package sent to me, and was assured that the delivery would be on friday but instead still not recievd. one package was rerouted through the same delivery port. i have contacted ups several times regarding the late delivery and all they can offer is an apology. I have also contacted the company who ship the package to me to inform that if any further orders i submit to their company is shopped through ups then i will refused to order from them. I surely do not believe they are to big to be affected by one or several complaints. people should respond appropriately to bad service.

That is right, ground packages don't deliver on Saturdays or Sundays. And of course trains don't run right up to your house.

But, trains DO in fact run in the rest of the country. UPS uses trains to get from point A to point B.

Then they are put on trucks to local centers, where the packages are put in cars. If one of those trains has your package and it is delayed, guess what...

Some people need to get a clue and not be so self absorbed.

I had no idea how much UPS customer service reps lie. My package was to be delivered on Friday, March 18, 2011 by the end of the day.

Today is Saturday, and package is still not delivered. I called customer service and I was told that the train was late and that my package was delayed and that my package will not be delivered until Monday, March 21, 2011. What a load of BS. Trains do not run in my area any longer because of Hurricane Katrina.

Does UPS really believe that I am that gullible? Needless to say I will opt for FedEx or DHL in the future.

UPS in Chicago, Illinois - Consistent bad experiences

Vendors have been shipping things to me by UPS several times over the last few years and I have always been surprised by UPS's astonishing incompetence and lack of desire to give a good service. Just two weeks ago, the UPS driver buzzed, I responded, put on my boots, came out and he was gone. He couldn't wait the 30 seconds that it took me to put on my boots. Just yesterday, a package never arrived (is it lost?) and UPS claimed they had tried to contact me about it - I guess they used smoke signals, they certainly didn't try my phone or email address. In fact, most of the packages that are sent to me by UPS have to be picked up at the UPS center because the drivers somehow cannot find the way to my office. And just a couple of months ago the package came broken and as I refused to take it in all I got from the driver was a dirty look - how about an apology? With all the inefficiencies of the USPS, I much prefer to deal with them than UPS. It is a mystery to me that UPS is still the biggest delivery company in the US.

Adverse Weather Conditions Apparently Only Affect UPS

Package was supposed to be delivered Thursday - tracking number showed "emergency conditions beyond UPS control"...yet a Fed EX truck is out in the very same neighborhood delivering packages. Checked tracking Friday - "Adverse weather conditions"...even though the weather is nicer than Thursday and I am able to drive about freely in a rear wheel drive sedan. Called Friday, had them hold for will call at the local hub. Went to pick up my package today (Monday) and waited in line for 20 minutes only to be told that my package had yet to even be offloaded from a trailer. This is completely unacceptable in my opinion.

Same here, companies LOVE to blame the weather for their screw-ups. Gets them off the hook.

I have a packaged here stuck in Earth City, MO, in July due to "Adverse Weather Conditions".

The only problem happening right now is that it is kind of hot... :(

bosslady320 ... the USPS was doing the "same stuff" long before before FedEx and UPS even existed. Are you really a "boss"???

my package has been suffering from "adverse weather" since 2/1. Today, it is sunny, 70 degrees, tanning weather for anyone else but UPS cannot even give me a delivery date due to adverse weather. What a bogus excuse!

Just fyi, when I was told UPS would not guarantee overnight because of the recent cold weather, I went with USPS. They guaranteed overnight (TX to NY) and that's exactly what happened, for less than 1/2 the price.

We ship stuff ALL the time and I don't think we'll ever use FedEx or UPS again.

I never knew USPS was so cheap and did the same stuff - guess they are finally trying to compete! Believe me, I've never ever been a fan of the USPS but we'll see how it goes in the future.
