So I had two packages delivered. The first package got dropped by my mailbox and the website claims it was delivered. The second it was left infront of my apt building and the same thing. If you are home you the both times you think a delivery man will know to at-least to ring the bell...no words can describe how *** I am. I am so happy that I pay UPS to deliver my package, which i have to go on the hunt for including staying at home for them not to ring the bell.....I looked at their website and there is a lil question mark that claims it is at the drivers discretion to deliver the packages in "safe places", I don't think in front of a large building is a "safe place" and can you believe their is no way to make a complaint........never use them again........I am just happy that my ups hunt was successful and i got my packages
UPS in Silverdale, Washington - Destroyed package insured for 500.00 and havent paid me for it
In Oct 2010, I sent a retirement shadow box seachest to a fellow Chief Petty Officer in the Navy, I insured it for $500.00 and shipped to Washington state, tracking # 1ZW8434Y0334424845. When he received it he could tell by the condition of the shipping box that it had been destroyed. We followed all the claims process to get reimbursed for it and still to this day have not received anything. This retirement box was made of special wood from his grandfathers seachest, and contained a his fathers burial flag. It has been 5 months and I havent heard anything!
Never do business with UPS
Havingworked for UPS for almost 10 years, I can tell you truthfully by firsthand experience that when the employees themselves call UPS "United Package Smashers" they speak accurately. Management gives lip service to treating every package as a "guest of honor" but they're hypocritical liars because their first and foremost priority is their profit margin and cramming packages into trucks as fast as humanly possible. Here's a good rule of thumb for deciding whether or not to use UPS. If it's a letter or something non-breakable, and you need it to arrive quickly somewhere, then by all means use UPS. They're the fastest. If the contents are fragile or precious to you or the receiver, then go with Fed Ex of the U.S. post office. Statistically those two companies pay out far less money in damages to their customers than UPS has to because they actually do care more about their customer's goods than their bottom line.
I placed an order on Sephora.com on 2/24/11. It supposedly arrived last night and the UPS tracking site said it was left on the front door. I went out and checked the porch, no package. Then I looked at the tracking history again to see it was delivered to the wrong...
UPS in New York, New York - Given wrong delivery times
I was told my parcel would arrive at 5 pm--rushed home. Turns out they had already come by. 8 hours earlier I have gone back and forth, can't ever get anyone on the phone. They were rude, unhelpfully agreed to redeliver, and promised to call me back but never did. Called to check my status and they said they'd come by--All lies. I was here at home, no one came. LIARS! They ruined my entire evening. This was alcohol so an adult signature was required. Very unfair and --I wish I could just talk to someone who cared about me.
UPS Driver Lies About Delivery
Honestly, every single time I have an issue with a delivery service it's with UPS. This week I was supposed to receive a package from Amazon. I received a notice on Tuesday that they tried to make an attempt and would come back Wednesday. I had people waiting for UPS on Wednesday. They never showed up. I called them later and they said the driver tried to make an attempt in the afternoon. I called customer service and told them the driver never came. They contacted the service center that told me the driver said "There was construction in the area". There was no construction. They said they would call me back to make future arrangements. They never called me back. Then I called on Thursday to have them deliver the package to my neighbors house in the back. They never called me back. The driver didn't deliver the package again. I called them, The driver said "There was no house number and couldn't knock on every door". Are we even talking about the same house? There's one door in the front with a house number. I told them I didn't want to deal with the BS and said I would just pick up the package. The customer service rep said I couldn't. I finally got a supervisor that made the arrangements. FYI: My roommate that works for the post office told me that UPS and FedEX contract USPS to deliver the mail sometimes. I would just go with USPS.
UPS, Customer Service, Duh
I trusted UPS to do a simple job, deliver my documents to my accountant in Florida. Quite an easy task one would have thought. Chicago to Florida, 2 day delivery $25.85. What is wrong with these incompetent people. Read label and deliver package as addressed. Now how difficult is that. Well in the case of UPS this is a very difficult task, I am really not sure why, maybe common sense is not a requirement for working on such a tough assignment. Oh and a word of advice. Do NOT waste your time calling UPS to ask why your package was not delivered on time per schedule, after reeling off your tracking number to at least 5 people and the words from customer service , huh, i duno, but if you pay a further $15.00 i will find someone with a brain to redeliver your package. Really UPS, without a doubt your company is a total disgrace
UPS Store, Egg Harbor Township, NJ
Over the last 2 years, I have heard complaints about this store. On many occassions, they have customers pack shipments in boxes, larger than is necessary. This has happened numerous times, not to just myself, but others as well. Over dinner with friends, I voiced my concerns, and was told the same thing happened to other friends at a Mays Landing store. I came to find, the two stores are owned by the same person. Just a shame, and when you call and voice your opinions, the manager/owner, Fred, hangs up on you and threatens to call the police if you want to go to the store and discuss it. VERY bad customer service
I order a phone about 2 week ago and it was supposed to be here last week. I have had to *** days at work waiting for these people and today I waited since 9 am for them. Its 5pm and they still arent here. They left a notice when I missed them saying that they would be here between 10 30 and 2 pm. These people work on their own schedule and are not considerate of their customers. Unprofessional to say the least. I have made about 15 phone calls to these people and they still take their time. Its just plain rude.
I tracked my UPS package (medicine) UPS said it was to be delivered on February 11th. It was late due to weather conditions in AZ. The package was scanned in in Dallas on February 11th. I did not receive the package until February 15th. When i asked why it was late i got canned responses i still don't know the truth. Between February 11 and February 15th i could not get anyone from UPS to tell me when it would be delivered. I could not get any response from anyone at all from UPS. I have asked my shipper to not use UPS anymore and i will no longer use them. I recommend no one use them.
