Everytime I order something from Newegg they use UPS. I live in an apartment complex thats locked but the front door is right next to the office and they let the drivers right in. Usually these UPS goofs leave the packages in the office even though they have complete access to the apartments but are simply too lazy to walk down a hall and knock on a door. Today I was expecting a package and like usual I was waiting for a call from the office to let me know I had a package, but there was nothing. Tracked my package online and said I was unavailable(??) that another delivery attempt will be made tomorrow. So I go and look for a note that the driver is supposed to leave but in turn, there's no note! Good thing I checked online... I've been trying to contact the local UPS here so I can just schedule a pickup (which I shouldn't have to do)but nobody will answer the phone! What gives with UPS?? First of all, the office isn't responsible for the safe delivery of shipped items. Secondly, I thought it was UPS job to simply deliver an item and not pawning it off onto someboby else?

Unable to pick up package on- time, despite being told by UPS when I could pick it up.
I was told when to pick up package from UPS, then when I get to the Arminta UPS location they tell me " that driver never gets here before 9pm. They gave you wrong information." I stated" it's your company - UPS. that told me when to pick up the package" All I got was " I am sorry you can wait for the driver or it can be picked up within 5 days" This was a gift for someone going out of state the same night. So. it's just a waste of time. Never again! Anything important do not send or expect to receive via UPS!

Horrible. I ordered a laptop from the Microsoft site, little did I know it would be shipped via UPS. The item was to be delivered via 1 day shipping (I paid extra for this), but though it was sent out on Friday, it arrived late Monday (atleast in the package delivery attempt). I called them multiple times requesting them to re-schedule after going through the painful voicemail service, and each time as I was talking (giving the tracking number), the line was cut on me (I have full network from where I call). Only one person took down my number as I called, and they never called me back as well. First time I called, some one did talk, they said there would not be able to give an exact time when it gets delivered, it was just a wild guess when it would be re-delivered (since they are a lousy service). I asked if I could schedule up a time, they asked if I could pick it up directly and save their time instead (and their office is about 30 minutes away). I paid for one-day shipping on Friday at 12.00 am (meaning they had ample time to deliver the package same day), I got a notification from the Microsoft site, at 1.00 pm saying the item was already up for shipping. This is the kind of customer service you can expect from them. I would prefer USPS instead.
Honolulu UPS lady destroys parcels repeatedly!
Our UPS delivery lady threw several boxes into the yard into the mud late at night when she realized we had dogs. I also have a front door and if she would knock or ring the doorbell-I would answer! She is far too lazy! She also left an open box, that happened to be a present for my husband's upcoming theme birthday party (AKA ruin one gift it ruins them all) looking like she had run it over in my driveway. I worked for UPS out of high school-I know that you aren't supposed to leave packages without first leaving a note for attempted delivery, I also know the person you deliver to is supposed to mark their preference so that they can be sure to receive the parcel undamaged. I have never been left a slip and the chick just tosses boxes at my place after dark. I sincerely hope she gets fired. I would gladly pay the post office extra for them to handle my packages-they are kind and respectful and I have never received damaged post from them. UPS SUCKS!

UPS in Houston, Texas - I shipped a package on 4-28-11 to Dallas tx and still waiting to be delivery 5-13-11
On 4-28-11 I went to ups store to send a package here in houston, tx(store Ph# 713-465-9322). As of today 5-13-11 I'm still waiting for that package to be deliver. I'm very upset because the Driver is getting at the business after 7pm even though they already know the business Hours.They were notified about the Business schedule'd Hours long time ago to avoid this inconvenience. last friday 5-06-11 I called severals times to remains them that the package should be deliver before 7pm. I called at 1800-742-5877, at the store where I went(713-469-3922)Umberto. I spoke to the supervisor in Dallas, he told me that the driver was around the corner of the business but the package was never deliver. So at this point I'm very pissed today is friday 5-13-11. I spoke to the ups store here in houston tx, and I spoke to Juan the supervisor in Dallas plus he gave me a wrong# to call him back... I'm frustrated don't know what to do. This is ridiculous.
I ordered a package and paid for UPS shipping and I mistakenly assumed UPS could deliver a package to the address listed on the package - MY address. With what Im sure amounts to millions of dollars spent on tracking packages, tracking delivery trucks, and tracking the drivers that deliver them, including global positioning satellites, scanners, etc. the one thing UPS neglected to do was spend money on training drivers to read the house numbers. My package, which contained irreplaceable and valuable family heirlooms was delivered to my next door neighbor's house. That might not sound all that scary, but in this day and age, many people do not even know their neighbor's names unless their mail is mistakenly delivered to their house, and I am one of them. Fortunately, she is a 92 year old woman who was born during the Age of Honesty when you did not keep things that did not belong to you, so she ambled over and delivered it herself. Ironically, and perhaps more to the point, the numbers to my house are painted in BIG WHITE numbers that can be seen from the street; whereas, my neighbor's house numbers are carved in black cursive and can barely be read from her porch, let alone the street. WORD TO THE WISE: when given a choice, pay extra for the confidence that you will receive the merchandise you paid for! PS: Please do not post replies that recommend insurance: I do not want to be financially compensated for a lost package with precious contents – I WANT what I ordered delivered, and if it is not too much to ask, delivered accurately.

UPS are thieves
Bought a Mac computer on e-bay , got lost in shipping and crosses the USA 3 times, arrived 2 weeks late busted!Purchased for $1220.00 and they will only pay me $190 !! It was packed by a UPS store as well !! So apparently they can smash your stuff at will and not compensate you properly for it ! Even the guy who owns the UPS store is shocked ! I will never ever ever use them again ! bunch of %^$# thieves !! I advise everyone I talk to never to use them, the internet is rife with such stories. When you buy anything on ebay specify NO ups !!!

I have had a box at the same UPS store for more than 10 years - it was Mailboxes Etc back then and they provided service. I called yesterday and asked if there was anything in my box from a specific company. The import who now runs the place said there was too much mail for him to check - so I drove the 40 miles to check and there were 14 items in the box. Their hours have gone from 7am to 9pm to 9am to 6pm. They've gone from 7 days a week to five and a half. The rates have increased by $45 a year and when you pay for a year you no longer get a free month. Talk about a down hill fall. No service, no hours and increased - lazy, in the US to get rich with out doing anything. Oh, I'm looking for a new mailbox service if anyone knows one.
UPS in Glendale, Arizona - Flowers delivered poor conditon.
Delivered flowers in bad shape when given to the customer. UPS did not wait for customer to come to the door just left on the porch. She had to put her own Mother's Day flower arrangement together, sad! The tulips were limp on arrival at the house in a box, no moisture to keep them pretty.The advertisment was false. The price was not what they posted and not delivered as pretty as seen on the advertisment.I believe they could improve on their advertisment and do what they say for your money. Alot of improvement should be made for us who spend our money with them,
I hate UPS
I orderd something from over seas on April 14. Finally got a confirmation that the package had been shipped. Suppose to take 5 days, and ended up taking 2 weeks. It came from China went through Hong Kong, then Alaska and finally made it's way to UPS head quarters in Louisville Kentucky. And then what do I find out, they sent my package that was already in the United States back over seas because they were too busy with their heads up their blank to do their jobs correctly. Never use UPS they will just mess up anything that comes their way.
