UPS Tracking report is lier

I tracked UPS and it is reported as if it is delivered. I did not receive neither notice of arrival nor Delivery. What a shame for UPS is it? I do not know where my package is upto now. It is more than one month passed after the schedulled delivery date. They wrote on their website that the item is deliverred at the destinayion for the consgnee. I am wondering by their false facsinated false report. How long I should stay without filing the case at the court. Are they entitled to delivere any time they want or there is time limit of delivery. I am not used to for such lies in other courrier.

i don't know for certain, but i'm guessing there's a communication issue between you and UPS, based on that paragraph you attempted to write.

UPS in Livingston, New Jersey - Poor Customer Service

UPS delivery person claim they could not find my residence because it's not on the GPS. What did they do before GPS? The regular driver is on vacation and have delivered more than 5 or 6 packages. I personally gave a customer rep directions the evening the package should have been delivered. Received another call the next morning to confirm the directions. Believe or not, they still didn't receive my order. This afternoon, I'm told that my order will be deliver tomorrow which is 2 days after it should have been delivered. Very poor customer service. UPS use to stand for Excellent Customer Service, what happen?

How did you talk to the delivery person if they could not find your house?? The people that are out delivering are not the same ones that answer your phone calls.

UPS trucks are not equipped with GPS. If you live in a rural area or a newer subdivision, anyone could have trouble finding it, unless you gave directions to them, which obviously you didn't:)

UPS in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - Does not stand behind there delivery times

I purchased bees from a apiary and paid for next day air shipping. I followed the package over their own web site so I could be there for pick up. They tracked it all the way to the air port where I live then they lost it. I contacted them that night and was told by them that it was lost. I received it the next day with very hot and distressed bees. I informed them about their incompetence and requested a partial refund. I was told that due to them not receiving it before 1pm from the shipper that was why it arrived the next day. They could not explain why the tracking times showed the arrival times and delivery times and that their office itself said that they lost and could not find it. It was not their fault but the shipping company. I will use USPS or Fedx from now on.

UPS only good at passing the buck

Every single time I order an item which has to come via UPS, I know I'm in for several days of arguing with them because they can't seem to ever get my package delivered when it should be. Today, I tracked a package all day long. I know when it arrived at the hub this morning (5 AM). Here it is 6 PM and the package is still sitting at the hub. Apparently, it takes much longer than 13 hours to put a package on a truck. Calling customer service is a joke, calling corporate is a joke. They don't care, they are only interested in passing the buck on to the next guy. I am tired of paying for shipping to have my package arrive anywhere between 1 and 3 days late. Shipments from them are never on time. Anytime I have called customer service, I get some song and dance about how sorry they are. They aren't sorry enough to figure out what they are doing wrong and correct it. Like I said, this is not an isolated incident, it happens each and every time I am expecting a package via UPS. They need to go to the hub near my home and figure out what is going on there because something is not right. As it stands, I will no longer do business with any company that uses UPS to ship products. I stopped shipping via UPS a long time ago. I am also calling the companies I do business with and letting them know who unreliable their shipper is. If enough people complain about UPS and their service, maybe companies will find alternate shippers. As it is, I'm sure I won't be getting my package for another 2 to 3 days even though it is sitting 15 minutes from my house.

Hey jimmy sorry I called you a ***. After looking into the problem, I found out that hardly any delivery trucks (including Fedex) out there have A/C. I suppose the guy that comes out my way happens to be one of the few. I also realized that you were referring to the enclosed area behind the cab that is secure (not the actual cab where the doors are open). After talking to my driver he told me the dust particles get in the back but have no way to blow out so it settles on the packages just like the window example that you used!

I am not a business man, just a simple minded country boy so I didn't realize that from a corporate perspective, it would be a complete waste of money to install air conditioners on trucks as it would be a huge huge cost with zero return. I guess that is why UPS is the biggest company out there.....I have to go spray my ladders off that I just ordered.

Thanks for the help jimmy:)

UPS Terrible Company

Express mail was sent to my address on June 4th. I promised by sender that it will be delivered on the next day, but today is June 7 and I have not my mail received yet. The thing it that the mail was sent from NY to NJ, the distance between sender and receiver is about 30 minutes by car. I wrote and called many times to the UPS costumer service, and they are responding like there is nothing wrong with delay. They were very rude talking with me and do not understand that if a person is sending Express Mail, it means they are want their mail ASAP. Today I received email from UPS, which says "you will receive you mail one day before the delivery date, which means that the Express Mail that was sent on June 4 should arrive on June 9". Is it express? Terrible Company with Terrible Service!!!!! If I miss the deadline submitting my documents, I will Sue UPS.

UPS - Claims process fraudulent

As early as 2009, we sent an expensive espresso machine for repair. It was a heavy steel appliance wrapped securely and boxed. It arrived in the neighboring state at the repair shop positively mangled and impossible to repair. (it was one of two completely damaged ones to arrive that day, according to shop owner.) We received a call from a UPS claims agent who said she would look into it by inspecting the damage, etc. We never heard another word. And this is truly my biggest source of anger at UPS. If one does not follow-up, they let it slide. It lacks integrity in the extreme. I was not aware of this at the time, so I trusted them to take the case to conclusion and I did not retain tracking numbers, to my subsequent chagrin.) Consequently, UPS offers no online customer service without this information. Fast forward a few months and a sales representative turns up at our business location trying to drum up business. When I realized the claim was going nowhere, I contacted her and asked her to earn our business by looking into our claim. She, too, got pretty curt with us for the lack of a tracking number even though I could supply the shipper and recipient information. She dropped out of site having provided no value whatsoever. We were forced to purchase a replacement that cost $1200. But beyond that, the arrogant disregard of UPS would appear to be rooted in company policy rather than a few bad apples not doing their jobs.

UPS nearly gave me a NERVOUS BREAKDOWN

This started in early February 2011 when I shipped 16 packages from San Jose, CA to Surprise, AZ through UPS. When the UPS driver came to pick up my packages he had only one shipping document form with him. He asked me to fill out that one document and sign it. So I filled it out and signed it. He then told me when he got back to the distribution center HE would be the one to fill out the rest of the 15 forms and put them on each package. But days later at the AZ destination, of the 16 packages only 14 boxes were delivered... 2 WERE MISSING. I called UPS to complain and I was transferred so many times to different departments, several of which were in the Philippines. Often I was hung up on. This went on daily for nearly a MONTH. I have all the records of all the UPS names and phone numbers that I called. Finally I spoke to 'Rachael' in Sunnyvale, CA and complained to her about my missing two boxes. After several times contacting her, Rachael announced they had FOUND MY TWO BOXES - one was in San Bruno, CA and the other one was in Salt Lake City. I was elated. But after a few days they delivered only one package and it was SOMEONE ELSE'S BOX. I called to tell them and they came to take back the box the next day. This problem with the missing packages continued. I called almost everyday to follow it up. Only after I threatened legal action did they suddenly tell me they WE FOUND THE PACKAGE. I was thrilled and relieved. FINALLY, I thought. BUT - when they delivered it, it was SOMEONE ELSE's. Eventually I was asked to fill out a claim form, which reluctantly I did. They asked me if I had bought any additional insurance, to which I said no. They then asked me if I had read the VERY FINE PRINT on the back of the shipping documents. I said HOW CAN YOU READ THE FINE PRINT WHEN YOU NEED A MAGNIFYING GLASS TO READ IT? Also, IT HAD BEEN THE DRIVER that had filled out all the paperwork and signed the 15 documents! Afterward, UPS mailed me a check for $118.04, (which I haven't yet cashed), which was nowhere near the $2000 value of my missing package! UPS assured me several times they HAVE MY PACKAGE, the package that was missing, the one with my valuables and important documents. THEY BALD-FACED LIED TO ME. It's VERY SUSPICIOUS that the ONE FORM that I filled out was for the ONE THAT WENT MISSING. The customer service people on the phone at UPS are very professional, no problem there, they know how to handle a hot customer. But they ONLY SAY WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR. I still shout: WHERE IS MY PACKAGE?? but it's on deaf ears. The value of the items in that missing box aside, the $118 is not even worth the aggravation and suffering and phone charges and YEARS OFF MY LIFE FROM STRESS.

With all the blaming and he said she said aside....IF i were shipping something worth 2,000 dollars, let alone 15 packages worth that amount as you claim, I don't care what you say or who you are, I would make sure the process is followed through correctly. Whether it be following up with the driver to make sure they did what they promised or purchase the insurance. Those packages are only covered up to 100 dollars unless you claim more.

Wrong, Rick. The poster is not "blaming others". The UPS driver gave the poster WRONG information.

UPS is at fault here.

lesson #1 - insure your packages

lesson #2 - fill out your own waybills. the driver is not responsible for providing you with, or filling out your shipping documents. handle your own business and stop blaming others.

Ups stole my merchandise

I ordered a pair of shoes from Finish line and all I got was an empty box from UPS. The top of the box seemed OK but there was a rip on the side of the package and on the side of the shoe box. The box arrived very light and I am surprised to find that nobody from the office noticed the weight of the box. When I filed a complaint, they left me on hold for long periods of time and never gave me a straight answer. The lady at the local UPS office was very rude when I asked about my package and did not give me any answers either. Bottom line, somebody from UPS stole my shoes and they are being very difficult to deal with. I am extremely upset with the whole situation!

UPS in Eugene, Oregon - Horrible delivery service

Every time I have a delivery, it gets sent back to the sender. Delivery drivers barely knock on my door and run. Instead of leaving package on my portch, they attempt the same thing following day. Then I call and ask if I can pick up the package 40 min after the "attempted delivery" and they tell me "you cant, it is being sent back" WHAT?! IT WAS JUST AT MY HOUSE 40 MIN AGO! Most ppl are at work durring their delivery hrs anyway. How are we supposed to sign for something at 4:30 pm? P.s I was working till 7 pm so I could not call in. Thanks a lot UPS! It shouldnt be this difficult

If UPS can't leave the package at your door because the shipper requires your signature, they are supposed to leave a delivery notice (UPS InfoNotice), and are supposed to attempt delivery three times before sending the package back to the sender as "unable to deliver". If the driver didn't do this, he is breaking their own company rules. If this is the case, you should write a letter of complaint to UPS corporate headquarters, or send an e-mail to their customer service.
