My package was scheduled to be delivered today so I take the day off and wait for it. I end up waiting all day and then all of sudden around 7p the tracker states its been rescheduled for Monday! First of all it would have nice to have gotten an email notification...
UPS, specifically the one on Western in Gardena, just absoluely stink! For one, it's a nasty little place, flies are swarming around and it smells really bad. Service is awful too. No matter when you go, there is a line out the door with one person at the counter. They will walk right by you and disappear into another room instead of helping out the one person left at the counter. If I had my choice of shipments, it would definately be FedEx. They know what they are doing. Maybe they couold train the UPS people on what customer service is really all about. I HATE THIS PLACE SO MUCH, I would be a carrier extra to get away from them. YUK!
UPS Driver was swinging a sign at my Lab, as I yelled at him I saw him back away from my dog at the beginning of my rural driveway, my dogs are on collars with invisible fence; they did not advance on him near the road. I started yelling to him as he came forward again...

so i lost my cell phone and bought a new one through the carrier. i need my phone constantly for daily life and business. i payed EXTRA to have it delivered the NEXT DAY after it shipped. it shipped monday, i was supposed to get it the next day. IT NEVER COMES! the tracking information they give you is a bunch of bulls h i t. finally it said it was supposed to come today BEFORE 3pm. i waited all f*cken day at home. NOTHING. i check the tracking page and it says Incorrect routing / Delivery rescheduled. ARE YOU F*CKEN KIDDING ME!?? I DONT HAVE THE TIME TO SIT AROUND AND WAIT UNTIL THEY DECIDE TO START DOING THEIR JOB CORRECTLY. its unbelievable how its so difficult to put a package in the right truck, drive to the residence and hand it to the person. if im gonna pay extra to have my package delivered and i end up picking it up myself because they cant do it right, i might as well drive the 2700 miles to new jersey and pick it up myself. it'll be faster
I am so pissed with UPS right now that I just need to write this complaint! Today I found the 2nd UPS sticker on my door announcing that again nobody was home at 10:55am to sign for the package and that a last attempt will be made tomorrow at the same time! In this case I suppose that if I don't want the package to be returned to the sender I should probably take a day off and wait for the delivery... When I called to leave instructions for the package to be delivered after 5pm, I was told that the drivers are not available at that time (even though the sticker that was left behind has a time category "after 5:00")and that my options are either to reschedule the delivery for the moderate fee of $4.00 or I could pick it up myself. Not to mention that the package is not at the nearest UPS Store. I have not experienced this lack of flexibility and poor customer service with any other shipping company and I hope I will not need to engage UPS ever again!

UPS in Honolulu, Hawaii - How hard is it to deliever packages?
seriously? i spend extra money to get my package delivered faster to me and they lose my package, and tell me to contact my shipper, FYI you were the last to have the package why is my shipper responsible? It's not their fault you have IDIOTS working for you that don't know how to read the freaking address label that's your job, so you go and track it yourselves! I would never in a million years recommend any corporate to use UPS, who knows who will get your package or when it will FINALLY come, my advice use FEDEX!
UPS Drivers are Lazy and Lie!
Every single time I order something online and that particular company decides to ship with UPS my merchandise is left on the side of the road and I have to call a family member to go to my house to grab the package before it gets stolen. The driver ALWAYS says that the package was left at the front door. They are to lazy to just walk 30 seconds out of there way to actually come knock on the door. The latest package WAS stolen and now I am having to try and convince the company I ordered from that just because the driver says he left it at the front door, it doesnt really mean he did. I wish I didn't have to use them but when you shop online you usually don't get to pick what company ships your items. Do NOT use UPS if you do not have to!!
UPS - brown for a reason
Paid $100 for air service from up state NY to Mississauga for $140.00 worth of parts required by my customer. shipment sent on the 15th - got a call from UPS mid day on Friday saying they would need to clear it for me at a fee of course and it MAY be ready for pick up Monday or Tuesday. This is the 2nd time UPS has been used and both have had similar results. We use Fed Ex and Postal system and have NEVER had an issue. They truly the WORST - do your selves a favour use anyone else
UPS in Calhoun, Georgia - Delivered package severely damaged
Today, 6/17/2011 @ 1800 hours, the UPS delivered a package (computer) with significant damage to one corner of the package. I refused the package due to this damage and told the driver to return it. The driver indicated on the Shipment Progress Activity Page that the receiver did not want the order and refused this delivery, and never said anything about the package being damaged. The driver did not provide any comments in regards to UPS policy or how to resolve this issue. He did not say anything and just walked away. I consider UPS to provide poor customer service to the company that uses their services as well as myself the receiver.
