UPS is the worst.

Not only are they too lazy to bring my scheduled package to my house, but they delivered my pkg at my local post office and being that this was on Saturday I have still not reveived it, but its suppose to be here by 3pm. and ITS TUESDAY! Irate. I was suppose to have my product Saturday afternoon, WTF UPS?! This in not the only time I have had a problem with UPS, it is terrible during the Christmas season. Note to self. No more UPS for this girl. USPS or Fed Ex from now on, even if I pay more $$!

Hello, if it was dlivered to the post office it's because UPS was paid to deliver it the post office. It's a less expensive option known as Basic and is a way for shippers to save money. Blame your shipper, tool.

UPS Ground Delays Package

I recently ordered a multitude of parts from www.newegg.com which used UPS as their shipping service. Normally I have had a fantastic experience dealing with UPS but this recent event borderlines absurd. I ordered on a Thurday, the product was shippied on Friday and arrived in Phoenix, AZ on Saturday. I live in Tucson, AZ, literally two hours from Phoenix. So what does UPS do with the package on Monday? Nothing. They simply allowed it to sit in Phoenix for an entire day. This baffles me as every other package shipped through Phoenix to Tucson that I ordered left Phoenix the business day after it arrived. Then why did this one sit there for a day? Did they forget to put it on the truck to Tucson?

UPS non-payment of insurance claims

UPS has automatically denied many of our insurance claims over time saying the item was too close to the box, or the packaging was insufficient. What they NEVER said is that it was their fault the item was damaged. It is their practice to NEVER admit fault. Even when one of their trucks got in an accident and was totaled (along with all the parcels inside), they returned the damaged goods to us with oil and the box in tatters and asked if we could repair the item. Anyone with a pair of eyes could see the item was unrepairable. They should have just paid the insurance but they didn't do the right thing. I just called their 800 number last week to ask who changed the delivery options on a parcel from 2 day to 3 day without our permission. They said they would have that person get back to us. That person never got back to us. What they say and what they do are two different things. They are losing integrity every day.

UPS tracking is moronic and ridiculous!

Paid for 1-2 guaranteed shipping. Package made it from China to Louisiville, KY in less than 24 hours, the package has been sitting in Louisville, for 5 days now (3 business days so far). I called UPS because tracking shows it left from China, went to Louisville, KY, then to Alaska, then back to Louisville, and still sitting there as I type. UPS says "probably tomorrow". So, guaranteed 1-2 possibly 3 day shipping means "whenever the *** they decide to pick the box up and load it to the next destination". Their tracking is ridiculous and their customer service agents make just as much sense as their moronic tracking system. I really do believe at times when packages are behind, they just scan randomly for the *** of it to make it seem like the package is "active". This is also not an isolated incident by far. At least every 4 out of 10 packages I use UPS for have these zig zag, east coast to west coast, USA to China and back in ten minutes, riduculous tracking. So fed up...

UPS arranged for me to pick up a package at Yorktown Heights on Friday night before 9:30. I arrived at 9:20, was kept waiting until 10, then told they wouldn't give me my package. The supervisor on duty didn't even come to talk to me. There was another man...

UPS theft

A few years back I shipped an expensive watch by UPS from Mailboxes Etc. The insurance was very costly. They told me UPS never loses packages so I waived the insurance. My watch disappeared. I told a friend in the clothing business. He said they often shipped clothing to customers. Once they forgot to buy insurance. That package was the only one that ever disappeared. After some research I concluded that the insurance is a profit center and a protection racket. If you buy insurance nobody steals your package. If you don't, the package can disappear and nobody will do anything about it. This increases their income from insurance. I have never used UPS since then.

I ordered a moderalty expensive watch from a company in NYC. I live it a rural part of IN where left is not an issue...the package was left (according to UPS) at my front door....

However it is no where to be found.

I can't prove it, but I know the UPS driver was involved. I will never use UPS again to ship valuables.

I had a business account with UPS for years and their insurance company was one of my biggest customers. The amount of theft was outrageous and they even suggested that we were shipping insured empty boxes to get the insurance money. I switched to Fedex and never had another loss. The product was high end jewelry.

I made the mistake yesterday of shipping a piece of jewelry to a friend in Alabama and did not insure the package. Guess what, it's lost in transit and we're out $4,000.

You're out of your mind to ship UPS.

Dear UPS: use the doorbell!

Literally every time I've had UPS ATTEMPT to deliver a package to my apartment, they have not used the doorbell. Then when I leave my apartment I see this lovely post-it on the front door saying they stopped by, while I was at home, and left. I've called them to make sure they would come when I was home. And I'd be home. Yet still the doorbell does not get rung and I get yet another post-it left on the front door to the building. I've checked with the superintendant, and the doorbells work and are labeled correctly. So my question to UPS is: What is it about doorbells that is preventing your delivery personnel from using them?

UPS DELIVERY

I have a shipment that's suppose to be delivered on 11/03/2011 tomorrow.I called UPS international to have them contact the local office requesting that the package be delivered by 9am being they don't provide any form of contact for the local office.I then received a call from the local office but missed the call so i return the call this guy with attitude in his voice telling me they don't start delivering till 9am.I then suggested to him i'll wait till 10am,even if i have to wait till 11am and be 3hrs late for work i would'nt mind being i need the package,he gonna tell me it's gonna interrupt service for them to get to me early and they suppose to be delivery guys,i'm going to say this,i'm not waiting all day for a package and miss an entire days pay and they gonna be delivering my package daily till i receive it being they can't work out something with me.I had a problem with them in this pass after the fact my phone was stolen out of my international shipment,it was a blackberry, all they refunded me was $100 for an expensive that i had packed instore with the representative working along with other items.Stick with FED-EX OR DHL,my package was shipped on 10/31/2011 with Airpak/UPS,it takes 4 days to get to you,but my husband did'nt know how much i hated their services, that's why he went their.

Regional delivery is no concern to UPS i'm well aware of that,my husband paid for it to be delivered by a certain time also my item was stolen from my shipment that shouldn't have happen either.I'm very sure Fed-EX/DHL have a better service when it's comes to timely delivery and securing my item.Maybe you work for them or your family does who cares.Get a life and stop talking about something you have no clue about. If you are one of their drivers you people are the worst when it comes to delivery period.I very sure i make way more money than you for someone you claim isn't educated dimwit.

you are not the princess or the intelligent person you assume yourself to be. therefore, you don't rate special treatment over the other people on this courier's route. educate yourself before you have your hissy fits.

I've already spoken to a supervisor, she took care of the matter and my package was delivered on time so i made it to work for half the day, instead of missing an entire day from work. Thanks Mr Attitude for you useless information.Further more, i had a bad experience with UPS just last year after the fact i shipped with you guys and my Blackberry got stolen from the package, all was left in their was the 2 ipods and earrings that i shipped to my daughter at a UPS location and it was also packed there, all i was refunded was $100 for a $600 blackberry, don't act as if UPS is a reliable service.I find FED-EX and DHL to be more reliable and my husband was the one that shipped the package with UPS after i told him use FED-EX.

Before 10 am service is a premium service, that at the time the shipment is created they will be happy to accommodate in most regions. However, this comes at a premium price.

You are not the only stop on their route. A driver will make upwards of 120 stops per day. They cannot modify their routes to accommodate everybody's schedule. There are plenty of thing one could complain about with regards to UPS. However, reworking their regional delivery map to accommodate your schedule is not one of them.

You made an unreasonable request which was met with a reasonable answer.

UPS in Toronto, Ontario - Unnecessary charges

I'm sure this is a very common complaint from those dealing with UPS when it crosses over to Canada. I paid $40 for a jacket. The website only offered UPS shipping, so I accepted, paid the approx $17 in shipping fees and had the item delivered. It arrived a day early, fortunately, but unfortunately, I was not home. Even more unfortunately is the fact that, whether I was home or not, I would have to pay a Brokerage C.O.D. fee of $17 to UPS. That's how much they charge when crossing the border to Canada. In total, I would be spending $36 in shipping fees for a $40 item. I've had things shipped to me from China and I've never payed this much in fees (the entire product price) yet, with UPS, this seems common place. I was absolutely enraged. And apparently it's my job as a consumer to verify this? BS. It's not like I did something wrong, or I am a unique case. They charge this ALL THE TIME, as if they're a novelty company that sprays your packages in perfume and wraps them in pretty ribbons. I'm not happy at all.

Brokerage is the taxes charges by Customs Canada. The import tax on clothing is 28%, then you have to pay HST and finally a a fee to UPS for paying these charges on your behalf.

Say you have HST of 13%, with the tariffs and HST you would be paying an additional $16.40 before UPS took it's portion.

I order often from both China and the US. From China, companies are more willing to mark things as a sample and give a $0.00 declaration because this is not illegal in China. However, this practice is highly illegal in both the US and Canada.

I think we should not even deliver anything to Canada, given the fact that we have carried your baggage for decades. The last time you people even tried to help out was in WWII and then only with an "attitude." Actually, a nice large fence with "no admittance" all around Canada would be nice.
