UPS in Little Rock, Arkansas - Customer service agent
I received a ups failure to deliver card 6 days after an attempt to deliver was made. I had to drive 30 miles to the nearest pickup point indicated on the card for self pickup. All of the information on the packege was correct for delivery. I have received ups deliveries at this address for years. The agent seemed unconcerned about my request for an explination and suggested that I try Fed Ex next time. Is this policy? I have always been very impressed with UPS and its service. I hope this was an isolated incident. Thank you for your time.
UPS driver posed a great driving risk to the public
For all the talk of Brown drivers being so safety concerned and taking only right turns to save energy and for safety: at about 8:38 PM CST on 11/17/2011 I watched a west bound Brown truck on Pebble Creek Parkway in College Station TX make a hard left hand turn without signaling onto in the dark onto south bound Winged Foot Drive, forcing oncoming traffic with the right-of- way to slam on their brakes to avoid a head on collision. I'm beginning to believe that the brown truck color with the poorly lighted truck bodies is a stealth truck, designed to let "Brown" drivers do whatever they want after dark Frank Hopf college Station TX
UPS does not care about customers
To all those who like to play the Club Bing games, LISTEN UP: Bing has some wonderful prizes - from small rather inexpensive items, all the way up to electronics & computers. Now here's why everyone needs to hesitate to order any of their snazzy gifts: Not only does it take 10 - 12 weeks to recieve your gift, they are delivered by UPS. The problem is that UPS will take the package and dump it on your doorstep, and say that it's DELIVERED. No signature, no acknowledgement of reciept. Bing says they sent me a very expensive jacket and UPS says they dumped it on my doorstep. Needless to say, that I haven't recieved my jacket, and both BING AND UPS have told me to get lost. So my friends - whoever and wherever you are, I strongly urge you to find other Search Engines, and other sights where they will honor their promises. Don't get the runaround like I have had.
Ok so I buy $600 worth of stuff online, some shoes and clothes and paid an additional $60 to have it overnighted for an event I had to attend the next day. I checked the tracking the next morning and said the package was out for delivery. Ok awesome. Our UPS guy usually comes always between 5:30-7 and sometimes a little later so I didn't expect it early. I live in an apartment complex and at 7:15 I went outside on my balcony and to my surprise I saw the UPS truck sitting in the parking lot across the street. Ok good I figured he was just getting packages in order for the complex, and it now being 7:15 ish the time he usually comes. Next thing I see is him driving in my complex and driving right out!!!! No packages delivered! I check my tracking they said right after that that the package was held for extra security scanning! WTF! Why would u drive this package all around to drive it back at 7 pm? Then I checked it about 15 min after and it then said package was held another day by receivers request!!! Um that defeats the purpose of next day air dumb-***! So now I lost all that money to have it overnighted and no outfit for my event! Needless to say I'm PISSED! I think the guy was lazy and wanted to go home. It's just driving around and handing out packages! How freaking hard is that!!!!!
UPS Run around and horrible customer service
So the hunt for my property began after 11/02/2011 i had 7 packages shipped from Canada location number 613-739-0139 spoke to " manager" Param,the same guy that helped pack the stuff when it was sent off to the US, He requested proof prof of citizenship for customs asked me to fax docs so i emailed them to the email he gave,after that they charge me 2000 for the shipment and i notive right away the next day 3 of the packages said they needed extra info, called 1800-742-5877 to provide it since they just had left to make sure there no inconvenience, spoke to someone they assured all packages were updated, next day goes by i check and those 3 packages are still not updates i call again to see whats up, and the girl that took the call tells me at the moment she cannot update them,and that the packages are all going together not to worry, so i wait till 11/14/2011 when they are supposed to be here,4 packages get here 3 are missing. called and asked they say they are somewhere in Austin but they don't know exactly were, edu rep to update the info she says she just did today.. i asked what about the call i made this weekend she tells me they didn't update any address on the weekend so they lied about it NOW what pissed me off the most is that they placed the copy scan of my SSN printed on an 11x8 paper full view showing my SSN name, and address, talk about a security... ups has none. so packages were never delivered to the door,m the never called for the ones that did arrive and now they want me to wait 3 more days for my things. i dont think i paid 2000 to get the run around on the phone from 10 am to 3:30PM store manager not helping at all just defending his point of view, point is this is the 3rd time UPS does this to me and 2 times with international shipments, i can say i truly hate them and they do not run a legit honorable business. now lets see what other BS i will go through now since im still waiting on my things.. seriously *** UPS! dont recommend at all even if your mailing a *** in a box expect that to never reach its location
UPS hires a bunch of idiots!
UPS has the worse customer service ever! Every representatives that I speak to are very incompetent. they don't know what they're doing and not very helpful at all! 5 out of 5 times UPS would mess up on my delivery. Seriously... how hard is it to keep track on someone's package and make sure it's being delivered out to that person? instead they would misplace the package and one of their managers need to physically go to the warehouse and look for it. Don't they have a system/ procedure to make sure this doesn't happen? I'm surprised UPS is still open for business. i would think most customers would go to their competitors because i would be from now on!
UPS in Norfolk, Virginia - Totally DESTROYED ITEMS
I boxed a few items which had memories for me of my folks. After moms funeral I sent them to my address. Upon getting home found box TOTALLY smashed, side torn open, things had been shattered and actually rewrapped. Have been trying to deal with UPS but keep getting the run around. I did NOT insure it for extra as had TOTAL faith in UPS - WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE. There is NO WAY to replace the items and I CAN'T begin to put a price on these few pieces. I have asked them to come and pickup the package to show them how it is but they won't. They asked me to send pictures of the items - I have no idea where to begin as mom was 93 and I don't know where or when she got them. Tried on computer and found the few things I could that were close to what I had packed.
UPS Run Around
Pay UPS Store #4441, Davie, Florida, to package, insure, & deliver an antique light. UPS damages one glass part beyond repair. I make the claim. I'm willing to have a duplicate glass piece made; they investigate and learn its not possible. This is a 90 year old piece and is not replaceable. UPS wants the whole lamp to be given to them in order for me to get my insurance claim. Despite the promise from the local UPS store that they would not confiscate the item. This has been going on for 4 months. I call the main UPS corporate offices and they defer to the store. Anyone else know where to go for resolution?
UPS HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICES!
UPS shipped two packages at 10 AM at veterans day to my house. Both items were marked as shipped, BUT my 3rd package was marked as 'The receiver is on a holiday. Delivery will be attempted when the receiver returns' AT 10 AM!!??!?! The UPS guy was in such a hurry to leave! He left and was driving away when I got down to my gate! HE SAW ME BUT WHY DIDN'T HE GIVE ME MY 3RD PACKAGE? Aside from all that, I can't email UPS because they require some Infotrack # that I don't have. I tried to call customer service, but they don't have anyone I can talk to, but a *** robot. I hate UPS.
UPS Destroyed bag and dismissed claim
I shipped a duffel bag home while on an extended trip. When it arrived the handles were torn out of the bag and as a result the seams were ripped out. The contents seemed to all be there. This bag had survived road trips and the airlines without signs of wear and tear. I filed a claim for damage to the bag on line and UPS came out and picked up the bag. It went to there local claims center and then was shipped back to the store I shipped it from. Their customer (NO)service was not helpful at all. I kept being told I would have to talk to the shipper (remember, that was me). I just learned that they tagged my bag as a refused shipment and the bag was thrown out. This was a frustrating experience and I'm out one very useful bag. Shame on UPS.
