UPS - never again!!
Expecting my parcel with them yesterday, had the whole day off work, couldn't even get out of the house for a minute as they cant specify what time it might arrive..customer service call centre is absolute trash! they are not even WILLING to give u any info or help... so u just waste money calling their premium number! Anyway after all day waiting, nothing has come, nobody called etc, do i log on their website to track.. and there is a note saying "the correct address is needed for delivery" ???? i call the CS again and of course the address they had WAS correct they just couldn't be bloody bothered to look a little bit more careful and simply drove off!!!! nobody even rung me etc, SO RIDICULOUS! the worst delivery ever! and then the customer service was trying to prove me that i have the wrong address???? expecting the parcel this afternoon now - will see if it will get here!
UPS in Los Angeles, California - Lack of communication
I was told package could be picked up on day of attempted delivery at UPS location and that I would receive a call within an hour even if it was going to be past 7pm (after closing) to give me details on when to pick up package. Never received call after 2 hours of waiting. I called back UPS and asked what happened... location failed to tell call me and tell me that the driver came in late and that I would not be able to pick up the package. This is poor service and lack of communication and lack of attention to detail.
It happened again.I was suppose to have another delivery on 11/30/2011 by end of day,but the driver didn't attempt to deliver it and it noted the customer was not available on the 1st attempt,the second attempt will be made on 12/01/2011 by end of day,the scanned it 7:47 when i was cooking in the kitchen that's very close with the door half open. I called UPS at 6:33pm being it was close to 7pm,they didn't ask for my information but i was told they are still delivering until 9pm. Around 9:40pm i then call once more being it's beyond 9pm,i was told the driver isn't making anymore delivery. I got very upset.i've been up at since 7am awaiting my package, the entire day with my door was half open and no driver showed up,no attempt notice,i was at home all day,they are liars. The office personnel had the nerves to tell me take it up with the driver tomorrow morning,there's nothing he can do about it and hang up on me.I then called the 1800# for UPS to file a complaint. It's now 5:59pm and no driver or phone call from UPS. I'm not going to pay for UPS choice,i'm not a customer,i prefer fed-ex but if you place an order with a company that ships with UPS,there's nothing i can do about it. They are very disrespectful at the staten island office,i had my cell phone stolen from my shipment in the past and they have the worst delivery drivers that are also liars.That's a fact.
UPS is a rip off
They charge crazy fees for the brokage and shipping fees i wish never to deal with them again. You are the worst company ever ! For a 100 dollar package it charged over 15 dollars. I had already paid for the shipping already. LIke really i am pissed off. Other companies should take over you. I don't understand why companies even want to deal with you. The fees you charage are outrageous and service offered is ***. Please just quit and go backrupt. FedEx or other companies are alot better and charge little to no service charge. Thank you please reduce the price or leave.
UPS - Awful
I paid extra for next day shipping. the package was late. On day 1 I was told they couldn't locate the package and not to worry - that cities UPS shipping hub was disorganized - delays were common. the following day when I called for a refund I was told the package was late due to bad weather. I checked weather and airport flight schedule - guess what... no issues reported. late, late, late. cycle of phone calls. no straight answers. I caught them lying to me. how many people are charged because they are lied to and believe it? This is theft.
I am now setting at home waiting for a package from UPS that requires me to sign for. Friday I have one that I am also requires to sign for. I call UPS to have them hold the package at the terminal on Fridays delivery so I would not have to wait all day for it to arrive. I was told that UPS had to make one attempt to deliver before the package could be held at the terminal. What, I am asking these idiots to hold a package so I can pick it up and not have to lose another day of waiting for UPS to deliver whenever they get ready. Delivery times can range from 9 AM until 9PM depending which driver is running the route. I have never dealt with a more asinine company than UPS. This will be my last delivery from this useless company. I will not buy from a company that can not ship through the USPS. Never again will I use UPS. The last package I got from these idiotshad tire tracks across it. UPS shove your no customer services.
UPS can't spell customer service
Paid for overnight delivery. UPS claims package left at front door via web site and IVR. Didn't happen. Same issue with 2 packages from 2 vendors. Called for assistance and received zero help. Bounced back to the vendor who shipped... Amazon and Cigar International. UPS agent 3970 should be escorted out the front door. What can BROWN do for me? BROWN can start providing basic customer service. Both companies (AMAZON and CI) have now lost business from me. They should opt for a different carrier. Maybe FEDEX, DHL, USPS, donkey cart delivery would be better. Logistics?? Right... they can't spell logistics.
Lost package i will never receive thanks ups
I shipped 3 packages from Florida to va, I received 2 of the boxes within 4 days and now I have a box that I have never received. It has been 3 weeks. I did not have the money to insure it so the box im missing is only insured up to $100. I am broke I am living with family here in Virginia. The box was full of all my winter clothes. I called today and they said that the trace is done and they cant find the box so they are no longer looking for it. Thats not my fault. I trusted this company with my personal stuff. It didnt just disappear. Where is it. I dont think its fair that Im not getting my box of clothes. I think a employee took it. What else happened to it. Do they have a unclaimed department. For one of the nations biggest shipping companies I am real disappointed. I am very mad. I will never use this company again. I will tell all my friends and family not to use them either. They just dont care. They track everything thats there job so to tell me that my box is lost and I will never receive it is unacceptable.
Never letting UPS deliver my packages again
First the deliver guy scared the *** out of me when he started yelling and pounding at my door. I was almost too scared to open it because I was home alone I was SO not expecting any packages this late at night. When I open the door, he just drops this opened box on the ground and shoves the signature thingy in my face. No hello or anything. Just stared at me impatiently. So I signed for the package and took it inside. I was devastated. These were supposed to be Christmas presents! I can't give these as presents. The boxes and wrappings were torn apart and carelessly thrown back in the box. Some of the smaller items, originally packed together, are missing. Really, UPS? Really? You can't see through clear plastic? These are EXPENSIVE. What the *** am I supposed to do now? If you can't run your company right, then just step down. You're doing WAY more harm then good.
UPS Overnight = We'll get it to when we feel like it
Paid for overnight delivery on a critical package and waited around all Friday after verifying it was on the truck for delivery. At 6:49 PM I checked to the status to see a notice (that was posted a few minutes prior) that the supplied address was incorrect, no call from UPS. I called and verified that the address I supplied was indeed correct, and the driver most likely just couldn't find my house, and was given this answer: "They're closed for the weekend. They'll give you a call Monday." So an error on their part means I don't get my critical package that I paid a HUGE overnight shipping fee on until it's convent for them in a couple days? Called about upgrading (on my dime) to Saturday delivery and was told they can't do that. Next time I'll stick with FedEx.
