UPS is Lazy or Liars
So, I ordered a package online. When I tracked the package, on 12-06, I discovered the package was documented as delivered on 12-05. The UPS "receipt" stated it was left by the garage. Considering people steal packages, I didn't understand why the driver would have left it by the garage instead of ringing the doorbell and giving to someone or leaving it on the porch, in a safer, less visible location. When I called UPS, the representative told me to contact the company I made the purchase from and have them contact UPS so they can request the package be tracked. I expressed to them that I shouldn't be inconvenienced because their driver was negligent. Of course, they didn't care about my disppointment and insisted there was nothing more they could do for me. As a customer, who paid for the items that I didn't receive because UPS failed to knock on the door or leave the package in a safe place, I should be able to request the investigation! (Now, I can't get a hold of the company because they have poor customer service too, but, it's not their fault that I didn't recieve the product.) Next stop, Better Business Bureau.
UPS will rob you blind
I had to give UPS a rating of 1 for value because I could not select 0. Last time I use UPS was 9 years ago and it was terrible then. I thought I would try it again because the vendor insisted, but I should have just bought my product elsewhere. I paid ($44.73) in brokerage fees for an 80 dollar product to get imported into Canada from the US. Brokerage fee, bonding fee, even a fee for them to collect fees, fuel surcharge, etc. Anything else they can come up with? Maybe a recycling fee for the bottle the driver uses to *** in! :)

Overbilled by ups
i had my worker ship a package to the philippines from bakersfield california... my employer made a mistake and sent a lot of stuff that was not supposed to be there. it ended up 52lbs when it should have been 7lbs. ups charged $500 for the shipment. we called and cancelled the shipment within 3 hours of drop off and had the package pulled in bakersfield.. the truckers sent it forward to ontario california though before we could stop it. it was sent back to bakersfield and ups refuses to discount the cost at all. the cost is still $500.
On 11/15 had ground shipped from Appleton wi two (parcels), one was 42 lbs and a hard case locked containing a bow and some Camo cloths. The second package was a cabela's Camo bag containing 62 of bow hunting accessories and cloths. The locked bowcase arrived on 11/21, the duffel bag no where to be found. This was a shipment from appleton,wi to chandler, az. Tracer with ups was placed on 11/23 and because a tracer needs 8 days of ups review and because I am not the shipper ups refuses to provide me any update trace information. Because of thanksgiving and weekends the 8 days is not up this coming Tuesday (12/6). I have called every day and when asked to speak to a manager or public relations person, somehow the phone call disconnects on the ups end. I would strongly suggest that if you are shipping anything that is not locked on in a cardboard box, don't Ship it ups. They have a way of making things disappear and have zero customer service ethic. This duffel bag contained over $3000 of archery equipment, someone at ups is enjoying an early Christmas. Until they tell me what happened and why a 62 lb Camo duffel bag disappears from a business that usually processes cardboard boxes I am going to assume theft. UPS in Fort Worth, Texas - Paid $20 to wait a week
I paid $20 to have something shipped GUARANTEE 3 DAY. I ordered on monday and was sent out to UPS on that same day. I should've gotten it by thursday right? Wrong. It has been sitting at one of their facilities in California for a week. I needed that item for a birthday gift on Saturday and didn't happen. Eventually the item came on Wednesday (week a half) and the box was dented. I opened it to see my item cracked (btw this is a gaming keyboard), the imprint where the dent was managed to crack the 2" styrofoam and break my keyboard. It didn't even turn on. I call CS and complained, and they told me the item still got there and they aren't liable for damages to the item if it is fragile. A keyboard isn't fragile and if 2" thick styrofoam couldn't protect it, no one can. Needless to say, I had to call the company I bought it from and issue a RMA. What really grinds my gears is that I paid $20 to have something ship (item is only 3lbs) GUARANTEE 3 DAY, and it shows up a week and a half later broken. There was an option for ground (4-5 day) which would've made it on time, but I opted for the more expensive just in case. Without regards, I will be using FedEx from now on since they actually deliver on time.
UPS = Utterly Poor Service
Within a week period, UPS not only missed to deliver two of (very important) packages on time but never even bothered to hear my complaint. I am a filmmaker. We were getting the brand new Panasonic AF-100 camera via UPS 2nd day air from B&H. I waited by the door to receive it but it never came. After 6pm, I frantically started calling UPS toll-free number because we scheduled a shoot the next day. They kept saying, "it will arrive sometime tonight but can't give you any particular time." Never came. The next day, I called again around 12 noon and then again 5pm only to be responded with, "Not sure what happened, but probably the holiday volume, we ll send a message to the local UPS office and someone will call you." Someone from local office called and said he cant take any complaint and I should call back the toll-free number about it. Another a couple of phone calls later, the package was delivered at 9pm the next day. I thought it was a rare case. I was wrong. As I type this, there's another package sitting at local UPS facility that's supposed to have been delivered two days ago. It was shipped from Amazon on Priority Overnight. A birthday gift for my wife. When it failed to arrive the day before yesterday by 7pm, I called toll-free number again to be put on hold for 20 minutes and then ended in vain banter. Today, I called twice and they said they already fwded the message to the local office and I should expect a call, but never came. Suffice to say, I will never again use their Utterly Poor Service.

Today is 12/02 and i've been home since 11/30 the entire day and the delivery driver reported two attempts made,i have nothing on my door,i've been home the entire and there's a big door bell,my door was even half open,they never showed up.I called the 718 local office number for assistance only to be disrespected and then they just hang up telling me to call the 1800#,and when i call the 1800# to report my issues they keep telling me they can't do anything about it,i even called 718# a few times asking for manager or supervisor all they do is disrespect me and hang up.I want to know a person who's awaiting a shipment from them and got no assistance this far,what or should i do about this matter?
