UPS incompetence

I ordered a package, paid extra for 3-day delivery... watched the tracking info on the ups.com website for the entire day. it was loaded on the truck by 4AM (on a Friday) it spent the ENTIRE day riding around in the truck ... and then was suddenly rescheduled for the following MONDAY! Ordered on 12-DEC; picked up by UPS on 13-DEC; supposed to be delivered on 16-DEC; rescheduled until 19-DEC. This is gross incompetence. They also left it sitting in an intermediate UPS depot (Ontario, CA --- 60 miles away) for 36 hours. And they of course give you no way on their website to even complain except by calling customer service during their business hours.

UPS doesn't know where my package is!

I ordered an item from Senyx Direct through their Amazon.com storefront. It was advertised as having UPS shipping with tracking number. It took a couple of days after I purchased the item to receive a tracking number. When I entered the tracking number into the UPS website it said, "A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated." I checked the UPS website for two straight days and it said the same thing. I finally called UPS and they couldn't tell me whether they even had my package. They told me to check with the shipper. They said the label with the tracking number may have gotten damaged so they have no clue where my package is or if they even have it. When I asked for a refund they refused. Unbelievable. They just told me to sit around and wait to see if the package ever shows up. That's logistics.

My company uses both Fed Ex and UPS, and remarkably we are all human. There were times when we will make the label and provide the tracking number and leave the package in our warehouse.

And our customer will call us regarding the tracking and it was similar to what you were seeing. That is not the fault of our customer or our carrier. Of course our customer was pissed like you, but we went above and beyond to satisfy them.

Some companies will and some will not. But UPS cant refund you for a shippers mistake

UPS cannot give you a refund. They bill the shipper and the shipper bills you.

You would have to ask Senyx Direct for a refund but chances are you won't get it. Another possibility as to why UPS can't find it is because the shipper hasn't released the shipment to them yet.

UPS - extremely disappointed service

I have contacted UPS Internal Sales Executive [Aidah Abdul Khalek Araby - aabkhalekaraby@ups.com] (Malaysia) & local manager several times to request for 2012 shipping rate for my account (already open account with UPS for more than 1 year), sent several emails, follow up calls, but never bother to reply me. Second, when I contacted her for certain issues, she would reply saying this is none of her business, asked me to seek for other solutions. Please do your job!!! I don't understand why is it so difficult to advice the customer on the rate. UPS hired you to provide services to customers, not to *** them off!!

UPS in Louisville, Kentucky - Waiting for two days for a package

So I ordered a couple of things from Avon to give to relatives for Christmas. They (Avon) sent me an e-mail on the 11th saying "Hey, it's been shipped, you can track it starting tomorrow". So on the 12th I start tracking it, and yesterday the 14th, it arrived at the local UPS hub. It didn't get delivered yesterday, but I chalked that up to them being really busy--it IS Christmastime, after all. So here it is, 9:00-ish on the evening of the 15th, and it hasn't been delivered. The tracking site still says it's on the truck for delivery today. Here's two kickers: 1), they delivered a package earlier this afternoon to my next door neighbor, after they left the firehouse several doors down; and 2), the UPS facility my package is coming from is not even ten minutes away, in the same d**n city I live in! (I live in Southern Indiana) Two days, and it hasn't been delivered yet? That's not Christmas rush, that's incompetence. I haven't called yet because I know when I do I'll end up in jail. . .

UPS is not reliable & irresponsible

My story. Last thursday 12/08. i ordered a package from t mobile, they used UPS. by friday 12/09, UPS gave me a tracking #. stating estimated date is 12/14. I planned my day in advance to be home to wait for package. on 12/13. I got off from work & found a note from them that they tried to deliver but no one was home. I called them immediately, the guy "jason" helped me & advised me they can put a hold on item & i can just go pick it up at a main office within their office hours SINCE THEY CAN"T TELL ME WHEN will the deliver guy arrive my house again..it would be 7 am or it would be 7 pm.. who knowwsss?? -SO on 12/14, i called before i drive another 10 miles to go pick up my item, this girl "jenny" tell me " am sorry, somehow the note was sent to the delivery guy yesterday but somehow, the package still went out with the truck, but delivery guy won't deliver your package because they will see the notes & do not deliver, so no matter what you won't get your package today, i can send another msg for them to call you 12/15 to see how you want to pick up your package". then i asked, "is there a branch # i can try calling to confirm if they have the package?" UPS rep states " NO, they do not have a direct #." THen i asked " so how do they call me without a phone line, so does that mean they have a phone that can only make outgoing calls but not incoming???" UPS rep " yes". - From this, you know that the # we call is a call center & that call center has almost nothing to do with the branch office & the branch office almost have no communication with those delivery guys... - This is the worse "communication/transportation" company i have seen that based their business on communication yet their workers DO NOT communicate with each other. SO bottem line, if you have something very important. DO NOT USE UPS. The end of the story. I will still have to wait until tmr for them to have mercy & call me back. & and by way, you can't leave more than 1 phone # for them to call you back, they will only call you ONCE at ONE #. I bitched & complained anther 3 minutes for her to put down a back up # to call tmr. so yeah. enough drama for tonite. hope this help whoever out there when deciding to use UPS. - WOW.

UPS in Kelowna, British Columbia - Terrible communicators.

Had a Christmas present shipped from the United States to Canada by UPS. Wanted $56- for brokerage, and handling fees. Agreed on the amount of $17.43 instead, driver did not get the message, and continued to try and collect $56-. I phoned, and requested that the order be sent back to the shipper, driver delivers parcel anyways to secretary. I phone over 20 times to have this parcel picked up, no communication on their part at all. Finally after 15 days I had to get mad, and demand to speak to management, that call took 45 minutes, and they responded.

UPS is a thief and treats their customers as such

So I palace an order thru and online website who uses UPS as they delivery company. When my package was delivered, the driver arranged the box in a certain way for me not to notice the big damaged the box had. The box was completely wet n had *** that easily fits a soccer ball!(box21x25x10) when i noticed the damaged on the box I ran out n he ups was gone. I opened the box and everything was wet n an item was missing. I called the company that shipped me the package n they said that they will file a claim n ups will contact me. Today dec 13th ups calls me and their agents r rude n treated me like if I had stole the missing item!! Are u f****in kidding me!! This company is *** I hope they go ou of business.. They better Wyatt doing They Job and start improving their customer service, cuz we customers r the ones that keep them in business.. I wont tolerate a *** company to treat me like a thief when their drivers r so unethical n do not even warn you that the box is damaged at the time Of delivery!! Their say they operate is unethical and irresponsible... I hate UPS! Do not do business with them!

UPS in Grande Prairie, Alberta - How disrespectful

My dad went to Halifax from Newfoundland to get a kidney transplant that we were all excited for him. While in the hospital he had got a staff infection that killed him less than two weeks later. Our family was devastated when he passed away. The hospital phoned me and asked how i would like to ship his remains and i never knew anything about this sort of thing so I asked the doctor what i was supposed to do. He checked out the price to fly him back to Newfoundland and the airline wanted 20,000 dollars and its only 1.5 hour flight. Our family don't have much money so my sister and I went with cremating him and had his ashes sent home. The funeral home did their job and then mailed his remains that we were supposed to get on Tuesday @ 10.30am. The funeral home that cremated him called us to see if we got his remains and we were so upset they never showed up and his funeral was the following morning. Ups actually lost them due to not entering in the computer.

I am so extremely sorry that this happened to you. This is not only the fault of UPS but the fault of the funeral home.

There is a policy that restricts any type of human remains to be shipped through this company and its for exactly this reason. I am so sorry you had to go through that.
