UPS customer service is a JOKE!

We ordered a pair of boots. The company shipped them UPS and we tracked it accross the US. On the day they were to arrive, we watched the UPS drive by our house. We tracked it the next day and they said it had been delivered. We it was delivered, just to the wrong address. When we called customer service, they literally told us they showed it as being delivered and we were out of luck. Too bad, nothing they could do. I even asked if they could contact the driver and have him go back. They said NO, absolutely not. We finally tracked the boots down after 3 days of knocking on doors. Not even an apology by driver.

Same situation I had today. Supposedly my package was delivered and dropped off at a house that doesn't exist.

I went to where they said they delivered it and there is no such address. Seems UPS drivers are stealing and tossing packages a whole lot more then USPS and fed Ex are.

Our guarantee does not apply to shipments that are delayed due to cause beyond our control, including (but not limited to) the following:

-Disruptions in the air or ground transportation networks, such as weather phenomena and natural disasters.

-The unavailability or refusal of a person to accept delivery.

-Delays cause by the consignee.

-Acts of God

-Public authorities acting with actual or apparent authority on the premises.

-Riots, strikes, and other labor disputes.

Need attorney for test case to take on UPS

I know how insurance policies work. If there is an attorney interested in taking down UPS for all of the damage they cause and walk away from across the US I have a rock solid test case. I am not looking to hire you to take my case. I am looking for an attorney who would like to use my case as a test case to learn the system and make UPS pay for what they damage. I'm offering you training, this test case must be filed in the State of Kentucky. UPS Sucks.. Never use them again

We paid $50 for a next day delivery for a X-mas gift. First, it didn't get there next day and then it was delivered to the wrong address the day after! They put a "tracker" on the package. We called and they said it can take up to 15 days to track the package and of course we NEVER heard anything back, WE HAVE TO KEEP CALLING, and on top of it all, they never have a update. And I want to note that this is the second time that they have done this to the same address. However, they never have a problem with shipping when its done thru Amazon. So what's the deal?

It's because Amazon makes sure your package is packed properly etc... When you buy off Ebay there is a risk. Also any service that involves the post office like smartpost/surepost, is a risk.

UPS v/s Parcel Post

I never thought I would say this but UPS SUCKS BIG TIME THIS YEAR. I purchased camera on EBAY and paid extra to have it shipped via UPS v/s parcel post. Going from CA to MI, seller in CA took it a UPS Store on Monday the 19th to ship, got my tracking number on the 20th, now I'm told it will be delieverd on the 27th. Called UPS and was told "tough ***" its the Holidays, can't do anything about it now. This is my wife's Christmas gift, spent $1200.00 for this camera and just told her no present under the tree on Sunday. Things I ordered and shipped through Post Office on the 19th and 20th I have already received. Word of advice to everyone, avoid the "brown trucks" use the red and white ones instead.

I Will Never Use UPS Again

I ordered a Christmas present for my son and did the 2 day shipping option UPS, it should have been here on the Monday before Christmas, it is now Thursday and I'm still waiting on it. On Tuesday I saw the UPS driver pull to the end of my drive way, sit there for a minute and leave??? So... I got on UPS.com and tracked the package, the notes stated that my package would be detained an additional day for security reasons. On Wednesday morning I again checked UPS tracking, the note stated that the address was incorrect and I needed to contact them!! When I called them, that wasn't the case AT ALL!! The driver would not come down my driveway because my dog was out...WITH ME!!! Now I'm severely angry, they basically lied on the tracking site, my package wasn't being detained because of security, or that they had the wrong address. The customer service people are all rude, they could care less that if this package doesn't make it here before Christmas there will be a very dissapointed 11 year old or that I'm missing my daughters Christmas parties at school, I was told if I am not here when the driver is here then he will not leave the package. I was also rudely told that if my dog is not detained, he will not deliver it!! My house is down a long lane, it's not like my dog ran to the end of the lane and chased the delivery man, she stayed by the house WITH ME. I will NEVER order from any company, if I have to get my product shipped UPS!!

UPS in Lancaster, Pennsylvania - Ba Humbug!!!!

Was told that it was 2 days before Christmas, she was really busy, Ba Humbug to you, the hung up on as I spoke with a person from the Lancaster, PA freight terminal. I was supposed to recieve a package by 10:30 a.m. yesterday (contact lenses I needed for my vacation trip today). At 6:30 p.m. I call UPS to find out the latest status. They sent an electronic message to the locat station and I recieved the call mentioned above at 6:45 p.m. The person that called me told me that they could not find my package and that they were really busy so I probably was not going to be my package. I would not take no for an answer, challenged her to check every box in the warehouse and told her that UPS totally screwed my vacation. She again started to tell me how busy she was and I told her that was an issue with planning and not my concern. I then asked to speak to a manager when she gave the response above. Miraculously, my package was then deliverd to my house 15 minutes later by someone in a private car wearing street close. I guess maybe since I pushed them a little that they did indeed find my package. I have called the 800 line again, shared my experience and asked for a call from someone in management. My guess is that call will never come.

So someone who works for UPS used their own car, gas and time to bring you your package and you still want to complain to someone. Wow, @#$% you, you waste of life. Let it go.

UPS Sucks

I dropped off pkg at UPS provider, Dr MailBox, on 12/21/11 with From and To addresses and paid shipping charge. UPS provider did not put tracking # on pkg. UPS picked up pkg, then called me later to say No Tracking Label and returned pkg to me with a tracking label UPS created. Why not just create tracking # and send pkg along? Joe Guerrero at call center outside U.S. said it was their provider's fault and their driver's fault and told me rudely to start over! And start over I will--at FEDEX or the USPS! Will never do business with UPS again!

WHat an ***. Guy, better yet ***, You are responsible for having the pkg ready.

That includes the label. If they are creating or delivering you a shipping label then it would have gotten where it needed to go.

You screwed up and I`m sure you lost the big client. hahahaha no j/k you are retarded.

Yeah, This is not my first rodeo and I have shipped packages for years using UPS, Fedex, and USPS. Things only move with tracking numbers and barcodes!

Authorized drop-off points and UPS are responsible for attaching the proper documentation before sending or bringing packages to their hubs.

I also have been in business for a long time and know how to deal with unhappy customers. It is obvious that UPS has no clue!

This complaint doesn't make sense, was it a prepaid label you put on or not? What do you mean "put a tracking number on it?" I don't think you know how to ship things.

every box i get from ups is smashed ,it looks like it was kicked around and a hilo stabbed it with its forks ,,all of them are that way now ,,who is running those places ? they must not care and think its funny to smash peoples things ! i had the last company make sure they put the product in a excelent box and when i got it ,smashed again ,so i know its out of ups and not the company i purchashed product from ,one day i asked for the local boss to see and he never showed .gr,mi

Im having the same problem as subcom this is te second time

In two weeks this has happened first they lost my paycheck that gets delivered to us by them and I got it almost a week later then today I was supposed to get a package in the mail they said its on schedule for delivery and it still hasn't come and it most definitely won't today seeing it being acceptionallu late

UPS in Brevard, North Carolina - They messed up my driveway

When the ups truck came up my drive, which big trucks cant, the broke the cement on the drive and spun ruts in the to top of it which is gravel. Now it is washing out and I can drive down the drive way for the cracked cement which washed out because of the rain. The driveway in which they cracked the cement on has a very step incline and I have trees at the end of the drive with a spot in them for packages because of the stepness of the drive. Now when are you gonna fix it?
