UPS is horrible!
UPS was supposed to deliver three packages on Friday 12/23/11. All three on truck prior to 630a to be delivered. At 930pm, they updated tracking with "exception, emergency conditions beyond UPS control". Not one person has been able to tell me what this 'condition' is (absolutely no weather causes). Was told packages were at facility to pick up Saturday 12/24/11. After a 5 hour wait, they could not find my packages! Delivery was rescheduled for today, 12/27/11. 10:18 pm, and they are still NOT here. Called to complain, and was advised one of my packages were left at the facility and would (again) be delivered the next business day; but could not tell me why my other two packages were not delivered. This is absolutely ridiculous UPS- how do you expect to handle increase in business when USPS downsizes when you can't even handle a Christmas rush??!?!
UPS oblivious to package delivered to wrong address
12-27 UPS delivered my package to the wrong address. Verified delivery on computer; notified UPS by telephone. Lady named Kim (very nice and professional; wish they could all be like her) notified the Supervisor of the delivery man. Called back and said delivery man was already out of area; supervisor advised him to continue on his route. Said package was "left in a car when no one answered door". No package in my automobiles (I have trucks). Supervisor would not have delivery man return and retrieve my package. No mor UPS business from me; I will be at regional office tomorrow morning to file a complaint and lost package claim.
Christmas Gift- UPS
Amazon shipped a package that we had provided a wrong shipping address on. After emailing over the holiday to Amazon with no return calls. we contacted UPS on 3 occasions to let them know the address was not correct and they stated they could not help me, the shipper could only change the direction the package was going. After a call to both Amazon and UPS today, I was informed the package was delivered to the incorrect address. I tried to provide UPS the corrected address, they were not helping, they do anything to help. Why is this? it was a gift for my Dad
UPS in Middletown, New York - Damaged Guitar For Christmas
UPS Driver had me sign for my guitar while he blocked my view of the box. WHOA ! Looked like someone punched 2 large holes and 1 small hole in it ! I told him too wait until I checked it out. RUDE *** TOLD ME THEY PICKED IT UP LIKE THAT ! My nephew personally shipped it to me from Guitar City ...He said the box was perfect......THEN !! The Driver RIPPED OPEN THE BOX, DESTROYING WHAT WAS LEFT OF IT !!! Guitar seemed ok but come to find out one tuner key is broken and the vibrato(wa wa) bar was snapped off !!!! Seeing as he tore the box I can't reship ! ? UPS is trash............Don't sign until you have checked out your goods ! REFUSE IT IF THEY HAVE DAMAGED IT......John Lucas PSJ FL

I ordered a BB gun for my son so I could teach him about how to shoot and about gun safety. UPS said it would be at my house 3 days before Christmas and now its 2 days after and they still haven't brought it! My son is still asking me why Santa didn't bring him his BB gun on Christmas. UPS IF THE ITEM WILL NOT COME IN TIME THEN SAY SO! THEN I CAN FIND ANOTHER WAY OF GETTING THE ITEM ON TIME! FedEx is just as bad as ups. UPS needs to plan this stuff out ahead of time!

UPS in Manhattan, Kansas - Up charged again
Screwed again by UPS. I received a package from the UK and wrote a check for the amount requested. A couple weeks later I receive a bill for another $574 dollars, due to Size Weight adjustment. The package weighed 4 pounds and was in a UPS supplied Pak. By the dimensions they are trying tell me it was up sized to it would have never fit in the Pak. I was told if you use a supplied envelope it ships by weight. How could it gain 91 pounds. They said it would be charged back to the originator to dispute because it would have been input wrong on their end. Then a couple weeks later they start charging me late fees on the Invoice.
UPS blaming weather as an excuse
Package was to arrive on Dec. 22. Was out for delivery on the 22nd and was not delivered. The next day it went out for delivery again and then right before midnight got the message that was adverse weather conditions. It snowed on the 21 but nothing was closed and the roads were clear on the 22. On the 23 there was absolutely no snow on the streets. NO ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS- UPS just couldn't handle all the packages and tried blaming the weather. JUST TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!!!!!!!!! You had my package for 2 days on your truck to be delivered and never did!!!
UPS lied overnight next day air is a rip off
On Dec. 22nd I shipped some medication to my wife by overnight next day air delivery. The package was to be delivered by noon on the Dec 23rd. I told the driver how important the package was. The delivery did not happen. I contacted UPS. I was told the package was left in a shipping room. I contacted an operator who told me that the delivery would be rescheduled for Saturday delivery on Dec. 24th by 3pm. Again the delivery did not happen. I contacted UPS at 4:30 on the 24th, I was told someone would get in touch with me within 30 minutes. This never happened. I contacted UPS at 6:25 pm on the 24th after waiting for someone to answer for almost 45 minutes. This person told me to hang on and she would contact the local office; after a long wait, I was told the best they could do was deliver it sometime on Tuesday Dec. 27Th. My wife needed this medicine because she was out. She had to make an emergency trip to another state to take care of or son and the medication that was delivered to our home did not arrive in time, so I had to ship it to her. It is a shame that UPS is so inconsiderate that they will not help some that paid extra money to insure delivery overnight. Their take was to bad; WE GOT YOU, TOUGH ***. Thanks to Walgreen's they advanced the medication to help my wife get through. They care about people, they even waited till my wife could drive to the store, it was past their closing time on the 24th. Thank you Walgreen's. By the way the medication was not purchased from Walgreen's!
