UPS in Fort Collins, Colorado - Get over it

I think you pissed people need to know how the shipping business works. You are acting as though it's all UPS's fault that you procrastinated until the last possible minute to purchase your Christmas gifts. Then when the snow slowed things down you get mad. Just because the weather is clear here does not mean your package did not encounter a snow delay somewhere else along the way. It also takes the drivers twice as long to deliver packages to your door when they have to trek through unplowed streets and sidewalks to get there. Believe me..they earn every penny of their paychecks. I'm sure there are mistakes and errors...as is the case with any shipping company. Give them a break and order your stuff earlier next time..

I couldn't agree more with OP.

Here is the thing, UPS does not control the weather, they have no control over whether or not you put down a complete address (that means buzz code too!). They can't control if the shipper had the parcel ready for collection within business hours. They cannot accommodate your schedule. They will not use prohibited personal cell phones to call ahead. They will not come back if you're not home and they will not wait 5 minutes for you to answer the door. You are not their only customer. Your parcel is understandably important to you, however the other 150 parcels on the truck are also important.

Xmas is the busiest shipping time, and well stuff happens, like a massive snowstorm two days before.

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want another person to risk their life by driving in unsafe conditions just so I could have my iPad a couple days sooner.

I didn't know there was a company that could deem an address "non-existent" but UPS did ours after we had first moved. Get this, they mailed a letter to us using the "non-existent" address to in form us.

They should have given the package to the post office... they found us.

No, So sad is right on target again. Losers will always be losers and UPS does not really care about them whether or not they complain here.

Get the order earlier -- place the order earlier. Or don't -- I don't care either.

I couldn't agree more. These people procrastinate till the very last minute to order their items and then when the items are delivered late because they procrastinated till the last minute they blame it on the shipping service.

Common sense says don't wait till the last minute to order your Christmas gifts. Also just because it is nice weather in your area doesn't mean there is not bad weather in another area affecting the delivery of your package.

UPS 6 days late in delivering package - and still not here!

UPS has had my package since 12/21, but keeps blaming weather contitions and "Emergency conditions beyond UPS' control" for still not delivering. Since I live where it snows, you would think UPS would hire drivers that can drive in the snow. There is snow on my road, but the Hondas and Toyotas have no problems driving on it. It might help if someone at UPS was smart enough to try delivering during the day, instead of waiting until well after dark when the temperature drops below freezing again, as they keep doing. Also, Amy R., a UPS Customer Service manager, was absolutly no help when I contacted her by email.

UPS fraudulant lying bastards

On December 23, 2011 I was stuck in Absecon South Jersey 08201 due to my truck braking down. This is a most unfortunate time of the year for this to happen. At any rate I ordered a part for my truck and was prepared to spend Christmas in a cheap motel. The part was to be delivered on 12/28/11, I left the hotel at approximately 11:40 am got back at 4 pm. After checking my e-mail I discovered a message stating that they had made a first attempt delivery at 9am of the same date. After calling Summit Racing I notified UPS which kept feeding me the same *** about an alleged 9am delivery, I was then able to get some answers which led to me drivin to 700 Leeds ave Pleasentville NJ where I had to pick up the part that they were paid to deliver. When I arrived there and expressed my frustration the guy there calmly said I believe you cause we just foud your package. Then he says I don't know who had it. WHAT IS THE TRACKING NUMBER FOR?

Ups does not make good on their package insurance

I purchased some large rather unique one of a kind frames for my daughter for christmas. They were for her wedding pictures, I mailed them UPS even though it cost more because I thought they would be more careful due to the fact they insure their packages. However the box arrived with all four cornors smashed and the frame broken. The frames were left in their original packaging and surrounded by soft clothes but stiill they broke them. When I called UPS to say they were broke I was told that the package had already been reported as damaged by one of their workers. I had insured the package for 150.00 and expected to be reimbursed so I could buy her another present. All I have gotten is UPS refusing to talk to me and making the store I mailed through call them. UPS continues to ask for more info more paper work more letters and I still after all the time I have spent am no closer to them paying for the damaged box. My daughter left the box untouched for 7 days waiting for someone from UPS to come see the damage and they decided that they didnt want to come after all. I have spoke to other people who have not been able to get their money for lost or damaged boxes. I am not a lone and the public should be let known that UPS is involvr din insurance fraud and scamming its costumers with their insurance program

UPS is horrible!

UPS was supposed to deliver three packages on Friday 12/23/11. All three on truck prior to 630a to be delivered. At 930pm, they updated tracking with "exception, emergency conditions beyond UPS control". Not one person has been able to tell me what this 'condition' is (absolutely no weather causes). Was told packages were at facility to pick up Saturday 12/24/11. After a 5 hour wait, they could not find my packages! Delivery was rescheduled for today, 12/27/11. 10:18 pm, and they are still NOT here. Called to complain, and was advised one of my packages were left at the facility and would (again) be delivered the next business day; but could not tell me why my other two packages were not delivered. This is absolutely ridiculous UPS- how do you expect to handle increase in business when USPS downsizes when you can't even handle a Christmas rush??!?!

UPS has to be the most unorganized delivery company... I mean there is NO communication between the theiving drivers and the poor customer service reps...

You can hardly ever get a supervisor to call you back when there is a serious issue about your shipment... AND yet they still hire these thieves to drive the trucks and barely deliver items,,, ITS SAD SAD SAD

UPS oblivious to package delivered to wrong address

12-27 UPS delivered my package to the wrong address. Verified delivery on computer; notified UPS by telephone. Lady named Kim (very nice and professional; wish they could all be like her) notified the Supervisor of the delivery man. Called back and said delivery man was already out of area; supervisor advised him to continue on his route. Said package was "left in a car when no one answered door". No package in my automobiles (I have trucks). Supervisor would not have delivery man return and retrieve my package. No mor UPS business from me; I will be at regional office tomorrow morning to file a complaint and lost package claim.

Christmas Gift- UPS

Amazon shipped a package that we had provided a wrong shipping address on. After emailing over the holiday to Amazon with no return calls. we contacted UPS on 3 occasions to let them know the address was not correct and they stated they could not help me, the shipper could only change the direction the package was going. After a call to both Amazon and UPS today, I was informed the package was delivered to the incorrect address. I tried to provide UPS the corrected address, they were not helping, they do anything to help. Why is this? it was a gift for my Dad

Son still hasn't got his xmas present because UPS lied about when it would be hear

I ordered a BB gun for my son so I could teach him about how to shoot and about gun safety. UPS said it would be at my house 3 days before Christmas and now its 2 days after and they still haven't brought it! My son is still asking me why Santa didn't bring him his BB gun on Christmas. UPS IF THE ITEM WILL NOT COME IN TIME THEN SAY SO! THEN I CAN FIND ANOTHER WAY OF GETTING THE ITEM ON TIME! FedEx is just as bad as ups. UPS needs to plan this stuff out ahead of time!

UPS delivers GREASY package

He should have cleaned the parcel before loading it onto his truck. NO excuses for that. Unfortunately your freight travels with other peoples freight and these things do happen.
