UPS Unreliable and Ultra Poor Service (UPS)

Needed to send my passport to Belgium and back to get Visa for my next business trip. Need it urgently back to be able to fly out on Thursday May 5th 6:50AM. I checked first with FedEx,DHL and UPS who guaranteed me a return on Wednesday May 4th. UPS Belgium explicitly did. Since the letter did not arrive on the promised hour, I started checking. Found out I was misinformed. OK, I want to leave the country and need my passport for that. Please help. The only option was the letter arriving in Dallas (where I am working right now) before 7PM and then I could pick it up at the counter of the UPS hub. Checking again at 6PM: nothing moves. Even after about 3 hours on the phone to try to get a solution, my document is sitting for about 12 hours in Louisville. Nothing moves. The people at the call center are very well trained to repeat the same kind of standard answers. they are totally unable to even think solution- or customer centered. End result: I'm stuck, will have to buy a new ticket to Europe and loose a business appointment. And all that could have been prevented with a company that is service oriented. Not UPS An absolute shame. Unbelievably bad service.

How much time did you have to plan this trip it sounds a little last minute. A good business would plan for problems and not but it off to the last minute but what do I know

Delayed Delivery

I was to receive my son's medication through UPS delivery this past Friday Jan 21,2011. I had paid the pharmaceutical company extra for this expedited delivery. When I checked late Friday as not delivered yet, I saw UPS had changed delivery date to Monday 1/24/2011 due to "emergency". The "emergency" was not defined. Since my autistic son depends on his medication and would have to go without the entire weekend with consequences, I called UPS customer service. They refused to even document my concern as a complaint. I at least wanted it documented. I also hoped maybe I could pick up the package since it couldn't be delivered but was never offered that as an option. I knew the local center would be open as I've picked up there in the past.

You people that blame UPS for late delivery due to bad weather are just plain ignorant. Order early and I don't want to hear the you get a better price if you wait BS story either.

Medications shipped via UPS like I do, ALWAYS have a back up plan because you NEVER know when a weather delay will close an airport or a highway. Take responsibility for your own screw ups and quit blaming the person behind the counter or the rep on the phone they have NO CONTROL OVER THE WEATHER!

You need to understand that UPS never ever specifies the reason of why they delay, and if we ask, it's because the place has a foot of snow, yet still roads are FINE. UPS Are seriosly the most ignornat people ever, they delay *** as much as possible.

You probably are just some 40 year old that has never expierenced this annoying piece of *** company. They ask for you to file a complaint for a refund for overnight shipping getting delayed, We shouldn't have to!

They should do that. It's not all there fault, sometimes weather is there fault, but mainly, it's them, just being a**hol*s

Hmm. Well they are a multi-million dollar company.

In my opinion they should follow the time line they themselves set. I understand weather is random but that is not the customers fault. The person above is a consumer going on the timeline set by the company. It is their job to get the package out.

Would it be a good idea to have other medication handy;Sure but that's probably why they ordered it and expedited the order. Maybe you should get off your soap box.

Canadian Customs is a joke! Blame THEM!

There isn't one package that crosses the border that they don't try to squeeze a penny out of.

Any and EVERY delay across the border IS Canadian Customs fault, believe it. And nearly every delivery they tack on customs fees, or try to...They need money to pay for 'free' healthcare.

Guest

I hate using UPS because all they do is lie about everything. I am in Canada and UPS favorite excuse is customs delays!!

Every time I have used their worthless service, I get the customs delay excuse. I tend to use DHL for all of my deliveries but for some reason, DHL does service all of the US, thus I have to use *** services like UPS and even when I pay for the express service and they guarantee delivery in 1-2 days, it still gets delayed even when all the paperwork is filled correctly. A very important order was supposed to be here yesterday and now it's delayed until today. The customer service people are all taught to say "I am sorry but there is nothing we can do"!!!

for such a large company, they sure do know how to screw people all the time!!!! I hate UPS and I avoid them at all costs!!!!!

Guest

Oh and \"JUST ME\" have you ever been around an autistic child? This lady has her hands very full.

Did you ever stop and think that maybe she couldn\'t order the meds sooner because of insurance reasons or something else. Some autistic children are extremely difficult to care for and this poor lady depended on UPS to deliver a service that they failed on.

She even paid for faster shipping and they wouldn\'t even help her knowing the situation. Shame on you for such an ignorant comment and shame on worthless UPS!!

Guest

I absolutely hate UPS and will never use it again unless I absolutely have no other choice!! They mess every single package of mine up.

The status updates are never correct. I had a package that was to be delivered on Tuesday and here it is Saturday and still no package. We had a little bit of snow so I overlooked it at first but the current status has said my package has been in my area for a few days now. I called to see what was going on and to pick it up myself and I was told I couldn't because it was locked in a truck.

I asked why its been in my area for a few days and not delivered and was told UPS has not been out on the roads for days. Well that was interesting considering my neighbor got their package yesterday. All full of excuses and lies. Are roads are not even bad and have been clear for days.

Fedex and every other truck out there has been delivering for the past few days.

We only got about 5 inches of snow almost a week ago....not a blizzard!!! UPS...never again!!!

Guest

you pkg probly got snowed in up north, therefore there was no way for you to pick it up.did you check where the last arrival scan took place when you tracked it?although i agree it is an inconvenience to have a pkg you paid for delayed, i would recommend not waiting till the last minute to fill your sons' meds.his health and welfare do depend on your' level of responsibility.

UPS lost an entire suitcase along with my wedding rings and didn't even say

During October, I relocated from Mexico to the US. At the very last moment we realized we had too much luggage, and my wife (which yes, does trust anyone instantly and suspects of noone) decided to ship her luggage through UPS. For this, we went to a multi-service shop that ships from many different companies. These were 4 small boxes and one large box (which contained the briefcase). The quoted me the total and I paid. I wasn't aware insurance was to contracted (I thought that would be for expensive things that have a high replacement cost). The told me the package would arrive in about a week. A week later, we were already in the US, and the packages were still far from our new home in Jersey City. Ten days into it, we were still without notice of the 5 packages. More days passed, and then 4 boxes arrived. The boxes were totally damaged, as if they had thrown them from a 5 story building, 10 times in a row: 90% of the items we sent on the smaller boxes, even though carefully protected and packaged, had to be thrown away. Yet, we mostly care for the luggage piece, as I found out that not only my wife cloths where there, but also our wedding rings and her youth photo album. Of course, she didn't have copies of scans of any of those photographs (naif, yes). So we called UPS to find out what was happening, and they couldn't do anything about it. We called at least 20 times during the next 20 days, to no avail. They didn't know what happened to the box with luggage. They later told me I couldn't file for a complain, not even when the shippment made it clear that I was the Sender and Receiver of the packages: the original company that has an agreement with them had to make the complain. At that point, I lost all faith in UPS. What happened then is that the shipper from Mexico issued a Claim, and they took like 3 weeks or so "to try to find the missing package". Then at some point, my wife received a PDF saying that they couldn't find it, and offering us the chance to include the value of each item along with a scanner copy of the invoices. Of course, I don't have the invoice for my wedding rings, but even if I had one, I'd want my original rings back, not money. This is very important to me. The photos are also irreplaceable. What worried me most is that not even a person called me, and that they offered no reason at all for what migth have happened. They charged me close to $400 USD for the packages, they lost the important one close to Jersey City (where it should have been delivered) and delivered the other four completely broken/damaged. I will try to get to their management to ask them to keep looking, but seeing how they didn't even let me file a Claim even though I was the one that paid, the sender and the recipient of the packages, is a great indicator of how little this company cares about their clients. Then the shop that sent the shipment forwarded us the Claim file (PackageInformation.pdf) which had the codes to file the claim. But when I try to place the claim (even though I obviously don't keep track of all the invoices for my wife's cloths nor wedding ring) it tells me (in spanish) that "We cannot process incidents this at this moment. Please try again later". I tell this story to every person as a personal favor: avoid United Parcel Service (UPS) as much as you can. Refuse to buy anything shipped from UPS. It's in your best interest. As a side comment, not all the reps were rude as some other commented. But those that were, behaved in an extremely unhelpful and even rude manner. At some points, one UPS guy at the phone appeared to be extremely pleased of not be able to do anything and to not care in the list...things like "What you are telling me makes perfect sense, but there is nothing we can do about this". I asked for a supervisor, and he left me on the phone for 20 minutes then the call was automatically disconnected. I got to "know" like 15 different people, and I say only 2 tried to help, 10 didn't care at all and 3 should have never been hired by any respectable company in the first place. UPS shareholders, you will owe me this one forever and for generations. Not that I care that much, but I feel great telling everyone I meet my story when it makes sense. I am sure you already lost a few hundreds from lower income, and will keep spreading the word on any occasion where it makes sense. Tracking number was: H866360**** Federico

NEVER USE UPS!

UPS never delivered my package on Christmas Eve and told me they did, by showing me a satellite image of my house. They did their so-called investigation by posting pointless pieces of paper on my door. Now a rep comes to my door, has me sign a paper, and says UPS will no longer deliver packages to my house. That is uncalled for. I hope no one uses UPS they are the worst delivery service I have encountered. And that wasn't the only time I didn't receive a package. They just say to call the people I bought from. They provide no help or helpful information to people concerned about their packages. I'm all for FED EX! They have superior customer service unlike UPS and I have never had any issue with FED EX.

You live in a neighborhood with tweakers who steal your packages and this theft has happened on multiple occasions, so now UPS requires a signature for delivery.

You'll have to move away from the methheads to start getting packages delivered to your door again.

The reason they told you to call the shipper is because they are the people that paid UPS, they are the people that have to file a claim.

Sent to wrong address, old product, bad service

this company screwed up the shipping, and then didn't take responsibility for it. blamed it on UPS when I get packages from UPS all the time. then sent me old product as well as sending me one container that was the wrong thing. and to boot, their customer service is the worst I've encountered, ever. they don't seem to care about quality of product or about their customers. when I called today to followup on an email I sent them, the guy was curt, listened to the problems but was rude. I recommend--don't buy from them!

This does not sound like a complaint about UPS but you don't mention the company you are complaining about. How does this help anyone? How can we not buy from them if you don't tell us who it is?

50 percent failure

50 percent failure 6 boxes shipped to potential investors, each containing a prototype that took us weeks to build. I personally packed each as if it was nitroglycerin. Box 1 arrived with no external damage, although a well-protected part was broken in half. I did not file a claim on this one. Box 2 arrived with no external damage, although the packing material was missing, the product had been disassembled and its parts were scattered throughout the box. I filed a claim but their making me jump through hoops, asking for pictures, the invoice, a packing list, their tracking number, my account number and my shipper ID, all of which I've been mailing one at a time because each time they get what they asked for they ask for something more. I'm mailing these because after spending an hour trying to send it using the electronic link they emailed, I called only to find out it doesn't work. Box 3 arrived looking like a used piñata, the bubble wrap I personally wrapped around and taped to the prototype was gone, the prototype disassembled and its parts were scattered through out the box. I filed a claim and UPS sent a driver out to inspect it. A couple days latter a UPS customer service rep. called, she said, "I'm sorry your box was damaged in shipment, unfortunately your claim has been denied because the box you used does not meet UPS standards." The confirmation email stated the box was not strong enough to hold the 8-pound item. The other 3 arrived without damage. A few days latter they emailed 4 credit card adjustment notices, 3 dimensional weight adjustments ($22.16, $13.00 $16.22), and 1 address correction charge ($10.00). All 6 boxes were clearly marked 18x18x16, but UPS measured 19x18x17, 18x17x17 and 19x18x17. After several back and forth emails they issued credits on 2, they're not retuning my emails regarding the other 2. Concerned that one of their employees was stealing my invention, I called customers service, after telling my story, the rep. said "Sorry your boxes were damaged in shipment, you can file a claim on line or if you like I can help you." Sensing I was upset he transferred my call to a higher-up. After telling her my story she said, "Sorry your boxes were damaged in shipment, you can file a claim on line or if you like I can help you." UPS gets away with this because they can, if one of my customers complains I fix it, when theirs complain they say "Sorry…can't do anything for you, it's ok if you fire us, our system is set up to make more money with less customers. If only there was law firm willing to after these crooks and make them pay back the millions they're stealing from us with their fraudulent measurements and insurance fees for claims they deny at their discretion. Isn't it a crying shame our only recourse is posting UPS *** stories, I'm posting mine hoping it will help me get over it and go on to more important matters, like finding a few potential investors to replace the ones UPS lost.

"I'll look into it" is a pretty standard account rep response for any issue you present them with, though I'm interested to hear what happens with this.

And I'm not a UPS employee making excuses for myself and blaming you instead. If I worked for UPS, I likely wouldn't be posting under the name UPSFedexUSPS, lol.

I just have a lot of experience with all aspects of the commercial shipping process and try to point people in the right direction when I can. Sometimes the truth hurts though, I guess.

Guest

Sorry pal, just had the my UPS account rep take a look, she didn't find anything wrong with the way I packed them, she agreed there was something fishy going on and pledged to look into it. Just another UPS employee trying to blame the customer for anything they do wrong!

Guest

People come into my store all the time and tell me that they've packed something well, only to find out they've used newspaper or those airbags to cushion their high value, fragile item. In the year 2010, I packed about 3600 items, probably a third of them considered breakable, and I had a grand total of 4 items break during shipment.

Those 4 claims were filed and paid without question because of my good track record. If 50% of the items you ship are being damaged, then I'm sorry to break it to you, but you're not good at packaging my friend.

UPS Store Riverside Ca

I have had a box at the same UPS store for more than 10 years - it was Mailboxes Etc back then and they provided service. I called yesterday and asked if there was anything in my box from a specific company. The import who now runs the place said there was too much mail for him to check - so I drove the 40 miles to check and there were 14 items in the box. Their hours have gone from 7am to 9pm to 9am to 6pm. They've gone from 7 days a week to five and a half. The rates have increased by $45 a year and when you pay for a year you no longer get a free month. Talk about a down hill fall. No service, no hours and increased - lazy, in the US to get rich with out doing anything. Oh, I'm looking for a new mailbox service if anyone knows one.

UPS does not honor Insurance claims

Our supplier shipped parts to us using our UPS acct. number and insured them for $400.00. We received an empty box. They refused to honor the claim; with no explanation. After having this happen a few times over the years, I have come to the conclusion that it is a plan: If the recipient has optioned to accept delivery without a signature, they will not honor your claim. They don't tell you that, but it appears to be true. In any event, they *** out of the insurance payments by refusing to honor claims. They are just another cheating predator; they have you by the balls. If you have anything of value to ship, use FEDEX or even the USPO.

I absolutely agree. I have NEVER EVER had a pleasant experience with UPS.

On THREE occasions, it took me over 1 year to resolve claims, all of which were for $100 or less.

Each case involved the package being delivered to the wrong address and UPS was never able to find it. EVERY TIME I go the runaround and had to talk to multiple people and received different answers from each and every one I was transferred to.

They probably think you're trying to rip them off lol.

Unable to pick up package on- time, despite being told by UPS when I could pick it up.

I was told when to pick up package from UPS, then when I get to the Arminta UPS location they tell me " that driver never gets here before 9pm. They gave you wrong information." I stated" it's your company - UPS. that told me when to pick up the package" All I got was " I am sorry you can wait for the driver or it can be picked up within 5 days" This was a gift for someone going out of state the same night. So. it's just a waste of time. Never again! Anything important do not send or expect to receive via UPS!

UPS Used Weather as reason for delay

Weather was not a factor especially when NOAA reported the island of Oahu as \"DRY\" EVERYWHERE as in no rain fall in ALL THE RAIN Gauges. UPS agent says that they don\'t have to refund when \"adverse\" weather affect the operation. However in this case adverse weather...

I ordered an item next day air from Amazon coming from Ontario, CA. The next morning I get a text message saying that my package is being delayed due to sever weather in the area.

I looked up the weather and its frickin 80 and sunny in Ontario. Are you kidding me?!?!?! I live in the Midwest where there actually is severe weather.

I can only assume a UPS employee forgot to pick up or drop off my package and coded it out as "weather" to save their own ***. Ridiculous.

"Posted on there website"

Stopped reading there. Fix your grammar please. :roll

Bill Aks

the weather where you are does not mean there are not weather issues somewhere else in the chain.

aa logical scan takes place because that's where ups expects your package to be as the travel in groups, ups does not individually scan every one of the tens of millions of packages it moves daily at every waypoint calong the way. those would be termed physical scans and happen at certain points along the way.

why you m0r0ns don't get this is beyond me.

He did, however state that the package was 'out for delivery'. It doesn't reach that status until it's actually arrived at the center and is already or is about to be loaded on the truck.

Guest

I just had my 50 dollar overnight package delayed because of "adverse weather" what a crock of ***! there is a tiny bit of fog scatered around and they just cant get the job done in time.

The postal service may have its faults but from working there I know for a fact that we would have to drive this package to a customer if it got delayed.

I have personally driven 140 miles one day for one piece of express mail that was guarenteed to be delivered that day. The Plane landed late, it wasnt our fault, but yet upper management agreed that a guarantee is a guarantee and they sent me for a drive.

Use the Postal Service people, when they guarantee and overnight package, they get that *** to you overnight!

Guest

Tracking shows my package was on the local truck for delivery at 9:23am...at 9:43am they report "adverse weather" and say my package is delayed. There is no adverse weather here today, it's a beautiful 80s blue sky day.....wtf is the "weather delay" 20 minutes after they load it on the local truck?

Guest

Here is an online chat I had with UPS regarding an "adverse weather" delay. Does anyone else smell manure?

---------------------------------------------

Initial Question: Can you clarify "adverse weather conditions" delay in Ontario, CA?

Maria C.: Hi, this is Maria C.. I'll be happy to assist you.

Maria C.: Just a moment while I look into that for you.

Bruce: Tracking says delivery may be delayed due to "adverse weather conditions" in Ontario, CA. This is crazy -- the weather there is excellent, my package is already there.

Maria C.: Actually that scan was not in Ontario, Ontario just report that information, however the weather condition was in LOUISVILLE KY,where your package is at the moment.

Bruce: If my package is in Louisville, why does tracking report that it is in Ontario?

Maria C.: Ontario was the facility in charge to report any kind of situation .

Bruce: Tracking says it left Louisville around 3:40AM and arrived in Ontario a little before 5AM. So you are telling me the tracking information is actually fiction?

Bruce: Here is what tracking says, verbatim:

Maria C.: That is a logical scan, that means that Ontario is the place where the package should be , however is not in Ontario .

Bruce: Ontario, CA, United States 04/04/2012 5:38 A.M. Adverse weather conditions.

04/04/2012 4:51 A.M. Arrival Scan

Louisville, KY, United States 04/04/2012 3:49 A.M. Departure Scan

04/04/2012 2:32 A.M. Arrival Scan

04/04/2012 2:15 A.M. Adverse weather conditions.

DFW Airport, TX, United States 04/03/2012 11:48 P.M. Departure Scan

04/03/2012 7:00 P.M. Adverse weather conditions.

04/03/2012 4:11 A.M. Arrival Scan

Tulsa, OK, United States 04/02/2012 10:12 P.M. Departure Scan

04/02/2012 6:43 P.M. Origin Scan

United States 04/02/2012 9:19 A.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

Maria C.: Correct, I have the same information here on my system.

Bruce: So UPS tracking information is not very meaningful if it reports where the package SHOULD be, not where it actually IS!

Bruce: Why don't you just report that is was delivered and be done with it!?

Maria C.: Actually is meaningfully for us , because we understand every detail or different type of scans , this is why at the moment since we are having an adverse weather condition my best advice for you will be to keep tracking the package.

Maria C.: Because we don't know when the package will be in transit again.

Bruce: If "Ontario, CA 04/04/2012 4:51 A.M. Arrival Scan" does not mean that the package was scanned on arrival in Ontario, CA then what is the point of continuing to track the package? You seem to be telling me that UPS tracking does not actually track!

Maria C.: I'm really sorry, that was not the information provided, you package will be in transit once we show the next information , however if you need to confirm if the information will be "physical or logical" you can chat with us again or you can call the customer service number 180*-***-****.

Bruce: Incidentally, the current weather in Louisville is also excellent.

Maria C.: Is there anything else I can help you with?

Maria C.: I haven't heard from you in a while. Unless you have more questions I'll go ahead and end the chat.

Bruce: Apparently UPS uses some sort of Orwellian doublespeak. I can see I won't get any further with this. I'm going to call my boss and them him that "physically" I will be at the beach, but "logically" I will be at work.

Maria C.: I understand that these options do not completely meet your needs. I wish there were other alternatives available. Do you have any other questions before we conclude our chat?

Bruce: No.

Maria C.: Good bye.

Maria C. has disconnected.

UPS does this to *** shippers and not have to pay a GSR. I shipped a package next day air to canada and "in climate weather" occurred in Lexington, Ky.

Checked the weather for that area, and not a drop of rain, snow, hail, anything along the entire route. I paid $90 to next day a 2 pound package and it took them 4 days. Then they have stones to tell me they don't owe me a refund?

Go *** yourselves. Fedex it is.

UPS LIES

Purchased a computer from Microsoft store, a tablet that I really wanted, and it was shipped by them 3-7 business days. I waited all day on the third day, which was a Friday. I live in an apartment complex so I even checked the front entrance for any note in case I missed the UPS guy who was suppose to deliver. Yes, I was really excited in receiving my new computer! Noon passed... ok, there's still time. 3pm went to go check the front entrance. 4pm went again. 5pm still nothing, no note that I missed anything. 6pm still nothing. I gave up for the day. Went to go play some CoD Black Ops. At 9pm I went to the front entrance again to check. There it was! A UPS slip saying that at 4:30pm the UPS guy "tried" to drop off the package. Nope! I've been checking all day until 6pm and there was no note then! Argh! UPS... why you lie? The slap in the face was when I called UPS on Saturday to see if I can arrange to pick it up that day (they are open in the mornings on Saturday) or on Monday so that this incident wouldn't happen again. They said I can't. I have to wait until TUESDAY to pick it up at the distribution center. Why? When I miss a package from the USPS, which I buy things online often, I can go to the local office and pick it up after work. But for UPS I have to wait an extra day! Do they make a habit of lying to be "on time"? I am really pissed off. The slip could say 6pm that it was delivered and not 4:30pm and I wouldn't be this mad!

UPS left packages on my private patio with my dogs!

UPS has got to be the worst shipping company in the world. I can not believe this. I have a small fenced back patio and that is where my dogs stay when I'm not home. I never ever use the back patio door and only go out there every couple of days to clean up and throw out trash, etc. Yesterday they left several packages (Expensive brand new textbooks) on my back patio, in the middle of where my dogs have been going to the bathroom.

First of all that in its self is bad enough, and shouldn't be tolerated.

Second, they don't care if it's raining or snowing, they will leave them there in bad weather, so that when I get the packages they are SOAKED through, and the contents are destroyed.

Third, what gives them the right to enter my private patio when I have dogs back there! What happens when one of them opens the gate and lets the dogs out?

Anyways, while those are all big deals, but that's not the least of it. The thing that makes me so ticked is that yesterday when they left them out there I didn't see them until this morning and they are ruined. The cover is COMPLETELY ripped off of one of the books. I know that my dogs are the ones to blame, and really it is my for not training them to leave them alone, but they are still just puppies. Less than a year old, and I can't really blame them for that.

This is the second time my property has been destroyed before I had it in my hands, as right before christmas they left packages outside in the pouring rain, and things were damaged.

I don't know where to start but I am so mad at UPS right now, and I will be taking action against them. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. Thank you.

Call any company you want to do business with and ask who they have doing their deliveries. If they say UPS tell them you won't do business with them while they use that carrier because of too many destroyed or lost deliveries.

UPS offers text tracking as well that tells you where and at what time the package was delivered. The information is sent directly to your cell phone.

You're going to tell me that's too much trouble?

The drivers most often place packages where they're less likely to be stolen--you're welcome. Please, join us in polite society where people actually work for a living.

I do not believe that text tracking was available when I posted this complaint - it was about 3 years ago. So I don't believe that was an option, and if it had been then maybe we wouldn't have had this problem.

I would rather have my packages placed on my covered porch than on an uncovered porch in the rain, or letting one of my dogs out. I don't really know what you are implying when you say that I should join you where people work for a living.

I have been a hard worker ever since I was old enough to get a job. Sorry you don't agree that UPS should place my packages where they would not be ruined.

Ups is the worst. 99 percent of my packages are delivered to the covered front porch.

Yesterday ups walked up the side of our house and tossed the package into our backyard where our dog was. We received the notification and by the time we got to the package it was destroyed as well as the contents. I installed a home security system so I have it all on video. Proof that these guys are *** Walked past the front door and actually at the time we were in the livingroom playing with our child who is 1.

We didn't see the ups guy but he surely saw us. On top of that he Didn't even deliver it to the backdoor, just tossed into backyard where the dog was. Within a minute or 2 the dog took the package and destroyed everything.

I have proof these guys are the worst. Like I said 99 percent of the time the packages are delivered to the front door that is covered.

I have a screened in porch in the back of my house literally about 10 farther steps then my front porch witch is uncovered. And I have left a note taped to the door saying please put packages on back porch and they still leave it on the front where dogs have chewed up numerous things and also been trained on .

I call it lazy .

Seriously take some pride in your work . As I said before 10 whole steps

I had the same thing happen with Fedex and I just called in and filed a claim. They are supposed to leave them out of harms way, including theives, dogs, weather, etc.

Thanks for the comment, and I'm glad that Fed Ex was able to get it worked out for you! I never was able to resolve this whole mess with UPS.

Even though I filed with the BBB, spent a ton of time on the phone with them, etc. Apparently they were convinced that I was supposed to handle it directly with the shipper, or with the website that the orders were placed.

In every case (at least 3 instances where my packages were ruined by dogs or rain), I didn't receive any replacement or compensation for my losses. At least I have learned from the experience and while my dogs are 4 years old now and wouldn't chew things up anymore, I have just learned to avoid UPS so that I don't have to worry about these things happening.

Rick, I would rather have my things stolen off of my porch, at least I could file a claim about it. It's kind of hard to track all my packages every day when I'm a full time student taking 18 credits and have two jobs.

I am gone most of the day every day. And I most definitely did not let the dogs out after they had been delivered, because I have a dog door for them and if anyone comes to the back patio they are out there to check it out. If you have ever had a puppy you would know what I mean. :roll You can say that it was my fault I didn't have the dogs trained enough not to open the package, but it's hard for them not to chew on new interesting smelling things put in their space by a total stranger.

I can't believe they would open a gate to go in while there are loose dogs. Shouldn't they be worried about the consequences if they let the dogs out and the run away?

UPS Just opened my 20ft gate and let my breeder KBD female out.But her pup didn't get out.My neighbor told me while I was walking my male on the sidwwalk. The female came walking up ,Thank God....What a asshole.....

they try to leave packages in places that would be difficult to see for passers-by with sticky fingers. i find it hard believe that the driver basically handed the packages over to two untrained, barking dogs and went on his way.

you probably let them out after he delivered them. track your packages next time and you'll know when they've been delivered

Flowers delivered poor conditon.

Delivered flowers in bad shape when given to the customer. UPS did not wait for customer to come to the door just left on the porch. She had to put her own Mother's Day flower arrangement together, sad! The tulips were limp on arrival at the house in a box, no moisture to keep them pretty. The advertisment was false. The price was not what they posted and not delivered as pretty as seen on the advertisment.I believe they could improve on their advertisment and do what they say for your money. Alot of improvement should be made for us who spend our money with them,

UPS

My overnight delivery is still not here and it is 5 days now. The ups tracking system says that they were unable to deliver my parcel due to an "emergency". What the heck does that mean? Did the trucks all blow up or something? since when does overnight delivery mean several days later? Seriously, does ups even care at all about their reputation these days, or is it all about money. This is soooo depressing. I needed that delivery for a special event last night. Thank's for nothing ups. This is why I only use Fedex or the usps!
