UPS SUCKS! won't leave mail as instructed

why do I pay for HOME delivery when UPS holds my pkgs. a hostage at UPS depot 20 miles away from my house??? I request NO signature on my deliveries and they won't leave pkg at the door. EVERYBODY in the neighborhood gets pkgs left at their door/gate....but not me. I called trying to figure out WHY, but all the experts at UPS CAN"T tell me why. They just leave stickers at the gate...usualy in a place where I can't see the dang thing .......and then hold my mail at the depot and tell me to drive down and then return my mail back to sender. UPS SUCKS in a BIG WAY!!!!

UPS sucks will not leave packages as instructed, Fed Ex & USPS do as instructed UPS for whatever reason will not leave packages even when I offer to sign a waiver to leave them in the middle of my parking lot. Request all my shipper to not use UPS

UPS Billing Practices For Small Businesses

UPS expects to be paid almost instantaneously. It almost seems like they expect to be paid faster than they deliver packages. As a small business, I pay bills once or twice a month. It is simply not possible to pay each bill when it comes in. This is good enough for every other vendor except UPS. If UPS is not paid in 10 days or so they suspend your accouny. And it doesn't matter how small the amount owed is. I have had my account suspended for awing as little as twelve dollars. Of course, when this happns, we always seem to find out at the end of the day when we really need to send out a package. Does anybody else have a similaar complaint?

our small business has had similar issues with FedEx and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. they dont seem to care about working WITH small businesses, they just want their money.

UPS Sucks!!!

I ordered something online and it was being shipped UPS and according to the tracking information as of this morning (Feb. 9th) it was out for delivery on a truck. Later when I checked the status it stated that a "First Attempt" was made at approximately 10:45am, my office is open from 8am - 5pm. I called the receptionist and was told that he came in waited maybe 2 seconds for someone to come sign for it, and then stormed out. I have witnesses this be-rating behavior from this particular driver before. He not only has an attitude but he represents his company completely unprofessionally. When I contacted UPS about this driver (his name is Andy, works in the Elm Grove, WI facility), all they did was apologize and I was told he has been talked to about his behavior before, but HE SHOULD BE FIRED!!!!!!

UPS - incometent employees

I was expecting a delivery from UPS on Wednesday morning and that night I got an email stating that the location on the package no longer existed. "The business has moved"...Obviously it had not since I was sitting at work the entire day waiting for it and after after 6 attempts at delivering I expressed my anger to the supervisor at the dispatch location and they ensured me it would be redelivered before our office closed at 5pm. I got a call at 7:45pm from the driver telling me he was on our floor and our office didn't exist..... Turns out the *** ***** never attempted to open the door that lead you to the hall from the elevators. UPS is the last company I will ever resort to because of their incompetent employee's at all levels. 4 business days, 6 delivery attempts, 12 calls with the dispatch center & extremely poor customer service!!

that was a bit harsh. as most offices usually have a directory and most offices will give a little more details and directions.the ups worker probably thought that it was another person's office.

maybe bad judgement. but i guess they could've called. might've been accustomed to some of those high end office suites.

the difference threw him for a loop. but i understand your frustration.

Ohh my word, I had a next day delivery and the ups in Newark ohio changed my address. They claimed it did not exist.

The address on the package was right and even after I called them, they refused to deliver it. Talk about bad customer service, I would rather wait several weeks for the usps to deliver my package then to deal with the ups people.

UPS service doesn't compare to FedEx

I live in an apartment complex in a busy foot traffic area. If you leave something outside my door, it's for anyone's taking that is passing by. When FedEx has a delivery, they knock on the door. If no one answers, they deliver the package to the leasing office who gladly takes and holds it for me. I was traveling this week and UPS tells me they left a package outside my door - yep, its now missing. Thanks UPS. I won't buy from companies that ship UPS anymore - only FedEx. By the way UPS, I'm filing my claim and you are going to cover this one. Perhaps you should send your drivers to FedEx for training so they can understand the meaning of 'customer service'.

I absolutely agree that our Fedex drivers are much better than UPS drivers. Perhaps because UPS drivers are unionized but they complain every single time that they have to pick up packages from our company. We recently instituted a company policy with all our vendors and clients that we only ship Fedex and not UPS.

Signature is not required with FedEx and your package is still safe, and no, I don't work for them, i'm a loyal customer following decades of good customer service. I always regret it when UPS delivers. Perhaps you should have FedEx deliver you a book on online etiquette - I'm sure they would be happy to accommodate you.

You are wrong. FEDEX leaves packages out just like UPS.

Your 1, single, sole, only delivery driver does this for you. It's not required and he shouldn't do it.

That's wasting time.

You are a retard for ordering things and having them delivered ups or fedex and not requiring a signature. Retard.

UPS in Yonkers, New York - U.P.S. Thieving Drivers

For the 2nd time in 2 years, some lowlife trailer park toothless inbred theif dressed in a ***-BROWN uniform stole a package addressed to me. @ years ago, one them stole a brand new Dell laptop I ordered for my daughter for Christmas....this time, a brand new Nokia 4g phone. Their package-tracking info says, "left at door"...which anyone with a rudimentary spark of intelligience knows is B*U*L*L*S*H*I*T.....never mind trying to file a claim with UPS, so I just stopped payment on my credit card and placed the order in dispute. These animals think that it's OK because it will become someone else's problem. These dirtbags in brown should be monitered every second of every day they are working.

UPS left my package in a home under construction

UPS delivered a package to our home under construction. It is a foundation with framing. The driver left the package in the "garage", basically a floor with framing around it. There are no doors, no walls, no windows, no security whatsoever, just open to the world and the elements and anyone working on the construction or walking by, day or night, (since we didn't know that the package had been delivered there). And after contacting UPS, they said they spoke to the driver and she agreed that the house was under construction, but she felt it was safe to leave the package in the garage. So UPS declared my complaint closed, resolved. Sorry, but the driver said it was safe, so that's that. Driver is an ***. UPS is too lazy to do anything about it. BTW, the package contained blank checks.

why would you order blank checks and have them sent to your house that i'm assuming you knew was under construction. iguess they left them there for that reason.

i think some of these places if don't give specific instructions they will leave it at your house regardless of the stage of construction. its probably something in training.

it should have been sent to the shipping address. Instead, the shipper sent it to the address on the new checks.

Today, the UPS driver called from downstairs security door. I buzzed him in but he didn't come in. He didn't even have the package with him. I saw him running back to his truck with no package. He put an info notice on the door and ran away! He was too lazy...

400 times up and down the truck stairs alone and then ridiculous expectations that what should be delivered by freight companies pawned off on package care drivers with no access to an elevator. Sometimes consumers ARE wrong.

UPS store in Somerdale, NJ is horrible

I sent a legal envelope using 3 day ground on January 31, 2012 to Florida, it was suppose to reach its destination by Friday February 3rd, well it didn't. The reason being, the woman who I gave the address to (the address was written on paper) "Leslie", which happens to be the MANAGER, conviently forgot the most important part, the actual numbered address. Anyway, by Monday the 6th, my father still hadn't received the envelope. So, I called the customer service department, and they said that they had it at the UPS store in Florida. My father went there & picked it up himself. I called the Somerdale store, and Leslie answered, and I explained the situation & stated she waited on me & that she had left out the full address. She proceeded to ask me, "What's the # next to the highway then?" I stated PART of the address, not the entire address!!!!! I asked to be credited, she said she couldn't just take my word for it, as she doesn't remember the transaction, yeah right! When we initially started the conversation, I stated who I was, that she waited on me, and the situation, which she agreed that she remembered. Now, that I want a credit she doesn't recall the transaction.....last but not least, she ended our call with, "WELL, YOU SHOULD HAVE CHECKED YOUR RECIEPT BEFORE YOU LEFT, I CAN'T JUST TAKE YOUR WORD FOR IT THAT I LEFT OUT PART OF THE ADDRESS". That's right, I made the mistake, I wanted to pay $19 for my legal envelope to be there 3 days late.....I will NEVER use UPS again, because of this experience. Thank you Leslie, great customer service!!!!!
