I order an album online for my client , so i pay a little more for my shipping 2 days.... well the company make fast my order and shipped but UPS took 1 week to delivery.... at the same time i ordered an item at amazon , same history but now i have to go to the POST OFFICE! because " Sorry we missed YOU" WHAT?!!! first if i paying for delivery to MY HOUSE!!! second: The guy never went to my door .... now i have to drive to pick up a package... Some company will be affected by this. because now i ask shipping by UPS or Fedex? im pretty sure that im not alone!
Delivery and Tracking with UPS is questionable.
I purchased a Television back in November of which UPS never delivered. When my package wasn't delivered I contacted Amazon to find out why, of which I was never given a legitimate explanation as to what happened. I was forced to put in a investigation as to what happened to my package and it took UPS 6 additional weeks to figure out what happened to my package. They found the package, but I missed out on a good deal, because of the lengthy wait I requested a refund. Seems I have gotten myself into another situation with UPS's questionable delivery practices, as I am again waiting for another package I ordered on 2/29... So much for expediting a delivery. I paid extra to have the delivery made sooner and I am still waiting and they have also lost tracking on this package as well. I am beginning to question if UPS is a national delivery service or a bunch of Thieves???? Concerned customer once again!
My husband ordered some boots off Zappo, on 2/28/12 had them delivered with UPS with their 2-day shipping and they were schedualled to arrive Thursday 3/1/12. When they hadn't arrived by Friday we checked the tracking information to find they had been delivered on...

UPS in Charlotte, North Carolina - Cant get a package on time for ***.
For a package shipped from florida to north carolina it took UPS (united postal *** 6 days past the original shipping date. went from port charlotte fl to jacksonville fl then the *** *** put it on a plane to Minnesota by that time it was friday so im sure my package sat there all weekend til sent to greensboro nc and behold its still not here. UPS is the worst shipping company ever and I will never use them again and make sure to tell everyone I know not to use them either. So in summation UPS you can suck it.
UPS delivered medication to wrong address!
I received a 2nd day air (UPS) package containing medication from Walgreens (sp?) of which was obviously dropped off at the wrong address (8 houses wrong). I called the number on the package (turned out to be Walgreens (sp?) and they are going to request UPS show up to retrieve the package and possibly get it to the correct resident. I am quite irritated by this continued lack of attention to detail and lacking and care in doing a great job (or any level of job "correctly". If they are not tossing electronics around (mine in particular), they are leaving packages in the rain, damaging packing tremendously or delivering to the wrong address. ***** What if this package was serious medication necessary for a persons life and UPS is aiding in degraded health conditions from something so simple as dyslexia or non-caring drivers. And... do not bother calling into the local office - they will NOT help and are only talented or quite skilled in serious rudeness and proof in not caring. If the top people in charge are this pathetic -- how can we expect those below them in the food chain to do any better? OK, we expect better from all but still - this is ridiculous! Someone PAID a bit more money for 2nd day delivery for a very important delivery and yet it ends as a huge FAIL UPS personnel, at least in my area, are complete idiots or at a minimum should quit their jobs and let one of these unemployed folks who would do anything to score a good job give it a shot!
UPS in Raleigh, North Carolina - Driver tosses monitor onto floor - Supervisor?
On Feb 7th, we heard the UPS truck pull up by home. I stepped outside to meet the driver for my expected delivery of a high-end LED computer monitor. There were TWO employees in the truck. One was standing outside (turned out to be the drivers "supervisor") and the driver was in the back of the truck acquiring my package. I saw one foot poke through the internal doorway (access to the cargo area) and then my package hits the front floorboard of the truck with a nice impact (enough to crush one corner of the box). I stepped behind a bush out of site to see what further mistreatment my package might receive and I hear two more good "thuds!" before they driver approaches me with the package in which he handed to me. Desperately needing the device for an immediate online conference I took the damaged package and proceeded inside my home, too irritated to speak. The driver and supervisor just proceeded in joking and laughing as they rough-housed packages (or so the sounds implied as they came from the back of their truck before leaving). My box was held together by this point by only part of the tape. Otherwise I could insert my hand into the box in two different locations without opening the package. Calling the local office and complaining led to this: the driver and supervisor disagreed and they all wrote it off as a misunderstanding vs. having actually done anything wrong. The stand-in supervisor (so she claimed) stated "I am not listening to this and I am hanging up now." -- and that she did. Note: anytime you cause strong impacts electronics or toss electronic equipment around, there is usually an expectation that if it works at all, it will not last as long as designed due to loosened components inside, etc. The issue remains unresolved. It to many phone calls with corporate and multiple requests to get a phone call from the location manager. Of which still failed as he claimed he was too busy and had an associate phone me on his behalf (which sounded by voice to be the previous person who hung up on me - though I can not prove this). More phone calls and demands to speak with the location manager was made. The manage eventually called me back and was quite short with me, spoke very firm and quickly and claimed he would get the package replaced by Amazon. This resulted in Amazon contacting me to indicate "it does not work this way" unless UPS purchased another monitor for me (in which they absolutely did not do) and left me dealing with Amazon to attempt for a replacement (of which was handled by the great service provided by Amazon just fine -- something UPS could never live up to)!
UPS is by far the worst company EVER!
SO the ups website said my package was out for delivery, never came! i called the 1800 number four times and no one could help me! no one could find the driver,contact the dispatch or anything! I spoke to two "managers" and they are useless, a waste of time talking to them. They even told me they only use the UPS website to track a package! Why does UPS need to lie???? The best part i was on the phone for 40min i was then told at 10:27pm that the driver would here by midnight! really..... no one came... still waiting for my package! NEVER GO TO UPS EVER ANY ONE KNOW HOW TO FILE A COMPLIANT??????????????
UPS DESTROYED MY MEMORIES!!!
I double insured the boxes on my mother's china and shipped them to my brother. I requested all 5 boxes be marked fragile and only 3 of the 5 were marked. Regardless, all boxes had broken items (several broken items). They have effectively shattered all memories of my youth. 7 broken salad plates out of 12, broken coffee cups, broken serving platters, broken vegetable dishes, broke, glasses, broken everything! Seriously? Your company has failed us in every way. There is no cash or replacements that can compensate for our lost memories. Way to go big brown. You have lost all my future business!
