I SPOKE WITH A REPRESENTATIVE FROM UPS ABOUT SHIPPING A PACKAGE... THE REPRESENTATIVE MISINFORMED ME AND ALSO MANAGED TO NOT CHARGE ME FOR ADDITIONAL COVERAGE. THE DELIVERY DRIVER FROM UPS DROPPED MY PACKAGE ON MY PORCH WHICH BROKE THE SCREEN OF MY LAPTOP COMPUTER. AFTER JUMPING THROUGH HOOPS AND DOING EVERYTHING ON MY PART TO HAVE THE SITUATION HANDLED, UPS SENT ME IN AN ENDLESS CIRCLE TO FILE A CLAIM, WHICH RESULTED IN UPS TELLING ME THEY ARE SORRY THEIR REPRESENTATIVE DID NOT DO THEIR JOB AND INFORMED ME THEY WOULD COVER $100 OF THE $800 IT COST TO REPAIR MY SCREEN. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WILL NEVER IN MY LIFE DEAL WITH UPS!!!! I WILL ALSO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE WITH ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN AND HOPEFULLY INFORM THEM OF HOW CARELESS UPS IS WTIH THEIR PACKAGES AND HOW UPS DO NOT RESPECT OR CARE ABOUT THEIR FAITHFUL CUSTOMERS!!!

Hi,

I feel sorry about your experience with UPS. I had a similar one, and I will definitely not use UPS ever again.

We have to let people know about how UPS neglect us. If we ALL stop using UPS low quality services, UPS will not exist anymore.

UPS will harass me for a bill is not mine

Send a package to a client in Canada, she had her UPS account and when I sent her i used her account number so she would pay for her shipping, she denied to pay, closed account and now UPS is billing me for a bill that UPS client was supposed to pay, UPS do not harass her, they harass me with the bill, and they have even sent me to collections because of this, i am not able to reach my client anymore, she refuses to pay, even though she received the merchandise, UPS claims if I am the shipper and the UPS account holder does not pay I am the one responsible, she is not anymore HA!! be cautious about this company they deceive their clients making them think you send the packages to the other person, they pay as they have am account with UPS and if they decide not to pay you are the one responsible not them!! UPS should be sued for this!!

You agreed to pay the bill when you signed the waybill. You shipped the item when you originated the shipment.

Asking UPS to bill the receiver doesn't relieve you of the obligation to pay. UPS did as they were asked by you and billed the receiver but you are the person who received the service.

So if I ship a package, I can just give UPS an account # and they shouldn't charge me? GET REAL....You initiated the transaction, therefore YOU are responsible for the bill.

If the other party agreed to pay for the shipping, then you should go after them.

UPS has absolutely nothing to do with your dispute with the other party as to who is responsible. They wouldn't be in business if we could all just ship packages and say it's someone else's responsibility to pay....PAY FOR YOUR TRANSACTION

Denied UPS Claim

HI I originally sold a guitar to a person in Nashville. I packaged up the guitar like I always do and shipped it UPS and insured it. The customer recieves the guitar and the box is damaged. It has a puncture hole on the top which something pierced the box and put a chip in my otherwise flawless guitar. The box is also scuffed and damaged. I contact UPS since I have the guitar insured. They pick up the guitar from the customer in Nashville with the box but the customer did not have all the packing material I used. He had thrown it out so he packed it in the origianl box with his packing. Ups picks up the guitar the next day. Tells me it could be five days before I hear anything. That's okay I wait. Two days later UPS calls me and says your claim is denied it was packaged poorly. So I argue with the girl on the phone from UPS telling her the box was perfect until UPS got a hold of it. Regardless she wouldn't hear it told it was denied and goodbye. So now I have a damaged guitar, which wil cost hundreds to fix, UPS charged me to ship it back to my house and plus denied my claim....I am so pissed off. and this is hardly the end of it.

Happened to me twice when I ordered very important material and shipped by UPS. Online tracking says "will be delivered by the end of the day", but after I wait through the mid night no ups guy showed up, when I called the next morning they said it's the system does that no one can change the online tracking status, sound very unprofessional for such as international leading freight company. If could tell my shipper, I would rather my material ship by FedEx instead, faster, cheaper and has accurate shipping information.

Ups keeps loosing my packages

I order from shop nbc and ups cannot get a package delivered to my house. ups has lost my christmas present for the last two years. With all these numbers and codes, they keep delivering my orders to the wrong place and they are lost. tracking number 1Z78FW430340 order number75215179 ShopNBC I am only 14 miles from Bowling Green KY and I cannot receive my freight. UPS has crummy service. I will request other freight when ordering from now on. ShopNBC cannot do anything about this because it is UPS that keeps delivering the packages wrong. thank you UPS delivery date by Jan 2,2012.

I totally understand you! and you are so right!

I've sent an envelope, paid 50 euro and UPS messed everything up.

UPS said that receiver was not found at home. Receiver was home ALL day, awaiting for the envelope. Once we had seen online the comment for not delivering, the receiver called immediately UPS. UPS said they will come tomorrow but they never come.

So receiver called again ups and arranged to pass by to pick the envelope. He went 2 times in 2 different days and after waiting hours he managed to take the envelope. (although UPS told him from the first time that he can pick it up after 7:00p.m) That was a lie and WE all have to inform people to do NOT USE low quality services UPS so they stop existing.

This might be a solution. Thanks

AGREED! My UPS leaves my packages behind a column, which can get stolen if someone sees it.

They suck so much, they're SLOW, has LAZY DRIVERS, and they just overall suck. I wish more companies used FedEx, they always deliver early, on time, and just overall better.

I hate UPS and I wished they closed down, not USPS. :(
