UPS in San Diego, California - LAZY BUTTS

UPS IS A JOKE!!!!! They have no idea how much their lazy behinds can mess up people's lives and plans. I was expecting a package today. Came straight home from work and sat in front of my window with my laptop (with view to the street) making sure I didn't miss my package. All of the sudden at exactly 6:10 I hear the truck... I looked out the window and see the truck on the middle lane (NOT THE RIGHT LANE NEXT TO THE CURVE AS IN…. INTENTION TO STOP... NOOOO) He just kept on driving. Minutes later I check delivery status and this is what I See? Status changed stating they had done first attempt. And At what time was that done? Exactly at 6:10. I called to complain and the guy said he would make sure my package makes it today.... an hour later some rude lady calls and said that the driver is gone for the day. WOW!!! GREAT SERVICE UPS... WAY TO GO. Its Friday... I wonder.

I am handicapped and in a wheel chair, ups ignored the lift on my porch. They took the package to the garage which is not connected to the house so my disabled son had to drag it to the front of the house and up the steps.

When called they were rude and very ignorant choosing to condesend and insult us rather than hear a complaint. :(

UPS - can't stand them

So here is my latest complaint for UPS. If you want to schedule to have them pick up packages that have pre-printed labels (prepaid) there is a pickup charge. If you don't want to pay a pick up charge you can drop them off or "if you see a driver" you can give them the packages. How *** is that? You try to help them plan their day by going online to schedule a pickup and they charge you. I have deemed them "Un Personal Service" for their lack of customer assistance – my latest among many complaints about UPS.

So you can't even read, ru that dense! It wasn't a package I had to drop off - that would have been easy.

It was a something I had ordered that was delivered by UPS.

Since I work during the day, they couldn't deliver to my apartment because I wasn't there to sign for it, and they refused to deliver it to a hub closer to my workplace so that I could pick it up there. Instead, I had to drive nearly 30 miles in the opposite direction of my work to pick it up!

ups charges, and thus makes, next to nothing on those return labels. furthermore, the label only pays for return shipping.

sending a driver to make a special stop at your house costs money.

don't be a cheap lazy donkey and drop off your package, like a normal person. you are not special, sweetie.

UPS unreliable

Ordered 6 items from Amazon, 5 were delivered early or ontime by either USPS or Fedex. The final item was out for delivery on the promised date but never made it here claiming my address was incorrect/ I called UPS and the local office promptly called back and apologized telling me that my address was valid( I knew that). I live on Mian st ina small rural towm 30 miles from the UPS depot.. their truch usually drives thru town about 12:15- 12:30 PM daily like clock work.. My package was returned to the shipping depot at 12:11 PM , "incorrect address". This is certainly not the first time that a UPS driver decided he didnt want to drive the extra miles that day.UPS is the only delivery carrier that I consistently have delivery issues with... UPS used to be a relaible company, but it seems that management isnt managing their drivers as well. MY company uses UPS almost exclusively to deliver packages under 75 lb.. This will change.. Wake OP UPS... get control of your company again and AEKDB to Mike Eskew

UPS in the Nashville area has the most INCOMPETENT group of people I have EVER seen

I did business with UPS twice since I moved the Nashville and BOTH times they failed to deliver my package correctly. The first time I paid $100+ for 2 day air shipping on a package they "accidentally routed it to the wrong UPS sorting facility" and told me to check back with them on Monday (although I needed the package on Friday). So after countless number of phone calls to automated numbers I gave up and drove to a UPS location they told me that if I really wanted my package I had to drive down to Franklin TN. So much for their guaranteed delivery times and customer service. The second (and now last) time I used UPS I was out of town and when I got home saw that after waiting on my package for 5 business days it still hasn't arrived. So I tracked the package number and what do you know it has been delivered. Except it has not been delivered to me!! As it turned out they left a shipping slip at my neighbors apartment (that actually has a different house number). And because they didn't fill out the packin slip (it was completely blank, no name, no address) had my neighbor been home at the time of delivery the driver would have given him my package (that happened to contain the keys to my car that was parked outside the apartment). Imagine my shock that my package was so carelessly handled again by UPS. The only person who was remotely nice was Dylan who later called and apologized about the incident. Either way I will NEVER send anything with UPS and will discourage everyone I know from using their services in the future.

UPS Sucks !!

I had a few problems where UPS would leave a package at my side door even in the rain. So I called their customer service and asked if they could notate my account to deliver to the front door because we have an overhang. Ever since then, EVERY package we get at the house looks like the guys dropped kicked it off the truck or dragged it behind. Every box we get is always mangled and some are partially opened. I wonder how they would feel if it were a package for them? I only asked for some common courtesy. But apparently that is too much to ask.

UPS Mangled My Package

I received a pair of shoes that I had ordered online and the box looked like it had been crushed in a trash compactor and then a raccoon tried to chew it open. It was compressed like an accordion, the packing tape was coming off and the bottom lid of the box was...

They always use the excuse of improperly packed blah blah. Of course im just not very fond of ups because recently a convicted felon with a current outstanding warrant for other matters stole a package from outside my door.

It was a replacement phone i had ordered. This clown actually came around later trying to sell me my own phone he stole. Its legal here so i recorded the entire conversation. He admitted he stole it but he thought it was someone elses.

Yeah like that makes the stealing part ok. The head cow at my local post office refused to investigate and file charges.

UPS Ground Shipping

WOW, UPS said they made three attempts at my Costa Mesa, CA location! When the second attempt was made, they left a UPS InfoNotice. I then signed and left it on my front door. When the third and final attempt was made, I came home and there was now two UPS InfoNotices on my door (one signed)? Maybe the driver did not see it, or was having a bad day? This has happened before and would not suggest dealing with UPS Ground Shipping Services. I have used FedEx, and the service and locations are more convenient. Thanks for listening, concerned consumer.

they hate residential delivery? then why do they operate distribution centers for companies like zappos that deal strictly with consumers, ie 90% residential?

Been there, Done that. UPS does not care about home deliveries ONLY Business deliveries.

They treat home deliveries as a nuisance and many times have messed up a delivery to me where I've had to drive 90 miles round trip to get my item from them. I refuse to deal with any company that will only ship UPS. For me it has to be Postal Service, FedEx or DHL.

As the ad asks---What can brown do for me ? They can crawl up their butts and die.

I was expecting a package to be delivered to my home, I utilized "My Choice" a UPS service. I asked and paid for the package to be re-directed to my daughters address. I was informed that it would be delivered on 10 April. I received and update from UPS that the...

UPS is abusing their "My Choice" service and asking signature for every single deliveries.

I basically refuse to sign any package that sender doesn't require a signature. If the package get returned, sender is not likely to use UPS anymore.

First of all, I have no idea why pkg needs signature. It's already paid for, it's not dangerous and it should fit just fine into mail box. Secondly, because I had been given no warning that it would need to be signed for, I missed first attempt at delivery so the...

Remember that UPS legally cannot put something into your mail box. By federal statue the mail box belongs to the US Postal Service (even if you buy it and install it).

The only thing that it allowed in there us the US mail. UPS is not part of that system, most of the time (they sometimes do work with the USPS to deliver part way under contract). If you put a note to your neighbor in the box, and the mail man sees it, they can and will collect postage due for it.

No joke. That's the law.

Why do they deliver heavy fabric rolls and put them AGAINST the garage door, so when you open the door (not knowing there is something behind it) it drops onto the bumper of your car. Why is it so difficult to ring the front door bell? Why are we getting multiple...

Instead of venting on the Net try asking the driver to place the packages elsewhere. 99% of the drivers I have dealt with in nearly 30 years of shipping UPS will do something simple like that if you ask them.
