UPS - NEVER USE THEM
I got a pc shipped to my home and the delivery guy did not knock or ring the bell. I have dogs and the only reason I even know he came by was them backing as he slammed his truck door. I called BEFORE 7 and they drug around and then told me I could not pick it up tonight. They then said after 30 minutes that the package was not open for Saturday delivery. Then they tell me they are not open Saturday and they can not deliver or allow me to pick it up before Tuesday! Their service sucks! I still do not have my package and they think I will use them for my business?! Even USPS is open Saturday! THey did not want to open a complaint on this and even LIED and said someone would call back. Big shock they did not! I was not even really mad till they lied to me.
UPS is a joke. Use Fed Ex, they have it figured out!!!
We are constantly misbilled due to their errors. Our most recent problem with UPS is their online system would not process our bill of lading for some unknown reason. Their driver gave us the form to fill out. The shipment was billed 3rd party. A month later we received a bill for the shipment because they lost the bill of lading. To fix their problem we need to call their customer to get authorization to transfer the fees. The supervisor, Peter in Tampa (ID #TPA2345) was patronizing and unhelpful, basically saying, I know we made a mistake but there is nothing we can do to fix it. You need to spend the time getting authorization to transfer the charges. Fed Ex would never put their customers through this. For one, their system would work and secondly, they would make an effort to resolve the problem. This is not the first time we've had this problem with UPS. We dread it when our customers require us to use their account number.
UPS: Not a good business solution
If you're looking for a carrier to deliver your goods, look elsewhere. I have had nothing but headaches from UPS. It would take me too long to recount every irritating event but I've had enough of putting up with it and I am going around on all channels making sure that this is heard. They call themselves a "˜business solution' and take pride in their "˜logistics' but all I see is a poorly managed business. When shipping through UPS you have the option of adding on a few dollars for insurance coverage on the package. We do this for almost all packages and when UPS delivered a box torn up with a giant hole to our customer, they did not bother to apologize to the customer or us or tape it up or reimburse us for additional costs incurred for replacing that package. Instead, the *** said this: Thank you for your response. Our records indicate that the claim for this shipment with tracking number 1Z60E266036947**** has been denied due to insufficient packaging. You will receive your e-mailed claim notification within 90 minutes If it's insufficient packaging then why isn't every single package of the same type arriving in the same condition? Instead of taking responsibility they decided to question our packaging. Really? I told the idiots to come by and pick up the box. They haven't done this probably because they are dragging their *** or they really don't want to reimburse $26. There are many more stories like this and it has always been a hassle to get UPS to step up. If I were in charge I would switch to Fedex. I would have switched to Fedex months ago. If YOU are in charge, then I suggest you avoid UPS.
UPS continues to retaliate against me!
Some time ago I ordered a large item. UPS refused to leave it at my door, even with a delivery signature release. So I called the closest hub, in Leesburg, FL. I had the displeasure of having to deal with a woman there named Carla. She was rude, inflexible, and unhelpful. The only way I could get my package was to drive to Leesburg, FL, over 50 miles away. And to make it worse, Calla insisted I had to arrive within a small window of time, less than an hour, to get my package. I had to borrow a truck, and then drove there. Even thought I made it within the time frame given, Carla was unhelpful when I arrived. She was on the phone, and simply waived me outside, pointing to where my package was. It was just leaning against a post outside, unattended. However, two nice UPS staff put it in my truck for me. I left. Then, I get a call from the police! Carla called the police and told them I stole the item! So, I complained about Carla and the situation. While the man, who claimed to be a District Manager, swore he'd make it right, and implored that we "start over," the Leesburg staff did not get that message. Even though this District Manager claimed my file was noted that I did not have to sign for any packages, after a little time, I am now not receiving my packages. No matter how small, I arrive home to find a note from UPS stating my signature is required, and thus, my delivery is delayed. Today was the most recent of these. I paid a PREMIUM to have my package delivered today because I am going out of town. Now, I have to wait another day for my package, and waste a vacation day, because UPS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!
UPS in Antioch, California - Gave me a defected lamp then if i wanted a refund i had to pay for shipping myself.
i think they have a contract with ups cuz they sent me a defected lamp and now i gotta pay for their mistake...no fair.......i would not buy from advance lamps evereverever again unless ur stoopid....no good no good....i am so pissed off this is bull s--- how do they expect me to buy from them again what if this happens again now i bought a lamp and i gotta pay because they sent me a defected lamp.....DO NOT BUY ANY THING FROM ADVANCE LAMPS OR WHEN THEY MESS UP U WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKES....
I was expecting a package delivered by UPS today, so I stayed home to sign for it. My building doesn't have door bells (unfortunate, but not much I can do about that), but it's never been a problem with other companies because they always call in advance so I can tell them. UPS does't call. They show up, look at the door and leaves a note containing no contact info and calls it an attempt to deliver. I call customer service who tells me that even though my package is still on a car driving around the city, I can't contact the driver and they only make one delivery attempt in one day so tomorrow I basically have to sit in front of my building all day since just calling me is to much to ask. Ended up having to change the delivery address to a different part of the country (no alternative address here) so I can have the package sent through the postal system. Thank you UPS
UPS AND THEIR RETARDED DELIVERY DRIVERS
today i saw the driver come and was rather excited but then expirienced the worst service ever. needless to say i was pissed off. when asked a question he refused to answer and had a terrible attitude. he would very strongly refuse to give out their names and repeatedly told us that this wasnt their "job" etc. this worried me as maybe they dont even work for the company and is a scam of some sort, so then i called the company and found out that in fact they were their employees.then i decided to search online and not surprisingly found many complaints which also affected me,such as hidden fees and so on. we have already paid the company to ship the package to us but they have come up with aan array of fees. when asked what they were they would not answer and tell us its not their "job". im sure this will relate to many of you but all i could get before i walked away in rage was their truck #: 672637 and licence plate (alberta, CA): J-42970 -sincerly an unhappy victim
I paid for overnite delivery at a huge cost because I am leaving for a month and wanted the item before I left. I ordered on Thursday UPS got the package Friday. Their website shows that it has not left the facility in Tenn I live in California. the website shows...
UPS is like a mafia ops !
Had a shipment sent from the Netherlands to Cambodia. Story is long, but suffice to say they are now asking me more than 100 % of shipment value, to have my stuff delivered, without any justification ! They also say I cannot refuse delivery and have the stuff sent back to shipper ! UPS customer service continues to tell me to contact their agent... who is exactly who I am having problems with !! They are making me crazy and I really feel I am in the hands of extortionists. Don't use UPS, it might be cheaper than competitors, but it seems to me as ' organized crime"!

Tptally unresponsive to questioning. Now will use then only under duress.

How do they know that your missing the delivery WHICH I PAID DEARLY FOR will *** me beyond belief, yet non time sensitives show up the next day. From NJ to DFW, overnight I get. But I PAY for expedited delivery and they *** up by the numbers? I am less than 4 miles from the major hub center center. The 5 pound package was tracked as "out for delivery" this morning (due at my door at 10:30 today). Now it is "rescheduled" for tomorrow. My package is on some trailer somewhere, and I'm out $750 air fare (cancel what I have, wait for the UPS guy to assle by tomorrow, then pay some ungodly airfare since I am now a walkup). AND THEY WANT TO GIVE ME *** ABOUT ASKING FOR A REFUND! FedEx isn't much better. Had the same kind of incident last week. So I changed to UPS. From now on I think I will just fly and pick up my equipment at the factory.
