UPS in Pharr, Texas - Sad Company,

So i been waiting all day for UPS to deliver a package. A city really close had been informed of the shipping information on 5/31 and the expected delivery date is today 6/4. well low and behold i been waiting all day and i decided to contact the chat and they weaseled out and said i needed to call a phone number. i call the phone number and all they could offer was the same tracking information i was able to see on the website. it's pretty ridiculous that even UPS has no idea where the package is. I will never have UPS be the shipper as long as i can help it. I already had another package on the way from UPS .... sure hope they both *** make it

Today is my third day that I have been waiting for my package. My actual delivery date was supposed to be on June 18.

I paid for this service. UPS representative are not helpful, dishonest, and irresponsible. So is delivery guy. They didn't even attempt to deliver my package on my request day.

They insisted that due to incorrect address, No Apt # , they are unable to delivery. But when I applied my delivery change request earlyier, Apt# and a brief explanation of my entrance. was added. I confirmed.

In addition, I attached memo for delivery man at the entrance where I found

the first UPS notice. However, They have never showed up.

They are all LIARS !!!

Are there anyways that I can take an action to UPS. Hopefully, my package is on the way....

One common mistake that people make about the UPS stores are that they think they are UPS employees. They are not. The UPS store is a franchise and the employee work for the owner of the store. While they might be somewhat trained on UPS standards of shipping, you can not say someone from UPS said or did anything. Your best bet is to take the package to the local UPS hub or building. They won't package it for you, but they also will not accept a package that would likely be damaged in transit. They can also tell you how the insurance process works.

As for the UPS Store employee telling out your package would be placed in a special place because of the ammount you paid to ship it goes to show that she did not know what she was talking about.

UPS Delivery is horrible

Package scheduled to be delivered to a specific location in the Bronx. A business name was listed as the delivery location along with the names of 2 persons affiliated with the company for pick-up. After waiting all day for the package to be delivered we contacted UPS to track the package and was told the driver did not recognize the business name on the building so he chose not to deliver. He did not make a decision to enter the delivery site to find out if the 2 persons for pick-up was on site or if the business was listed. After filing the complaint we were informed a 2nd delivery would be attempted. We provided UPS with additional info about the building and waited patiently for the 2nd delivery. After waiting 12 hours we contacted UPS again to determine the time of delivery. We were informed the UPS delivery location is closed and nothing could be done before 10am the next day. Now I understand why some employers require at least a high school diploma or GED before you can be hired.

totally agree on that i been expecting a package to be deliver all day i paid 25.00 rush fee to get it next day after calling the ups customer service and been given several time frames not able to move out of my house so i wont miss the delivery guy putting a huge note on the front door of my building letting him know just to come over to my unit number he decided to not to deliver the package because the unit number was missing customer service it's just the worst.

UPS Driver Driving Horribly

In Kansas City Metro area in Lenexa, KS at the 35 North to 435 West on ramp I was merging in with a car behind me. There was a UPS driver in the center lane that decided to turn into the right lane right as I and the car behind me was coming into the same lane to merge. It is quite obvious despite having a door mostly made of window he cannot see ***. So I blare my horn and punch the gas my truck had the power to get in front of him. Close the Lackman exit the driver tries to attempt to push me around I mean come on really you having a road rage fit in busy traffic. Whether or not he was exiting off at the Lackman exit I made him get off I am glad because it is drivers like this that make our highways unsafe. The time this happened was 6:35-6:40pm Central Time on Wednesday May 30, 2012. UPS drivers in general suck at driving but I know I am not the only one irritated at them. I will not be sad in the least if these Bad drivers were fired or pulled over by the police for recklessness.

UPS is a disgrace!!

I don't choose to have UPS ship my packages the companies I order from do. In the past 12 years every time, I repeat "EVERY-TIME" I received a package from them the shipping box has been damaged or crushed like it was being used as a football. On a side not only once was the item actually damaged/broken. Also for me and the rest of the working world the workday ends at 5pm for businesses. For UPS it ends between 8-9pm, UPS requires you to stay home waiting for a package that was suppose to be delivered hours ago. I hope this poor excuse for a company goes bankrupt soon!

Never again using UPS (or UPoS)

So it has been almost a week and I still haven't received my package, I paid for 2 day shipping & I should've received it last week Thursday. On top of that the pick up was right in Kansas and I live about 2 hours away in the same State from where it was picked up from. The company I ordered from were extremely helpful and has automatically shipped another one out plus has refunded my shipping as well. In the meantime UPS has no idea where my package is @ & has told the shipper that they can file a claim tomorrow so an investigation can be done. Seriously??? The investigation should've been done on Friday. How the heck do you not know where the package is @ or which driver had the package??? This isn't the only time UPS has screwed up for me and w/ other people I know. I have also tried calling UPS. Stayed on the phone for almost an hour till I finally get some *** who can't help me so it adds more to my frustrations. They can go to *** for all I care, next time I order anything else I will make sure the company offers different options for shipping otherwise if UPS is my only choice then I'm not buying.

UPS - NEVER USE THEM

I got a pc shipped to my home and the delivery guy did not knock or ring the bell. I have dogs and the only reason I even know he came by was them backing as he slammed his truck door. I called BEFORE 7 and they drug around and then told me I could not pick it up tonight. They then said after 30 minutes that the package was not open for Saturday delivery. Then they tell me they are not open Saturday and they can not deliver or allow me to pick it up before Tuesday! Their service sucks! I still do not have my package and they think I will use them for my business?! Even USPS is open Saturday! THey did not want to open a complaint on this and even LIED and said someone would call back. Big shock they did not! I was not even really mad till they lied to me.

UPS is a joke. Use Fed Ex, they have it figured out!!!

We are constantly misbilled due to their errors. Our most recent problem with UPS is their online system would not process our bill of lading for some unknown reason. Their driver gave us the form to fill out. The shipment was billed 3rd party. A month later we received a bill for the shipment because they lost the bill of lading. To fix their problem we need to call their customer to get authorization to transfer the fees. The supervisor, Peter in Tampa (ID #TPA2345) was patronizing and unhelpful, basically saying, I know we made a mistake but there is nothing we can do to fix it. You need to spend the time getting authorization to transfer the charges. Fed Ex would never put their customers through this. For one, their system would work and secondly, they would make an effort to resolve the problem. This is not the first time we've had this problem with UPS. We dread it when our customers require us to use their account number.

UPS: Not a good business solution

If you're looking for a carrier to deliver your goods, look elsewhere. I have had nothing but headaches from UPS. It would take me too long to recount every irritating event but I've had enough of putting up with it and I am going around on all channels making sure that this is heard. They call themselves a "˜business solution' and take pride in their "˜logistics' but all I see is a poorly managed business. When shipping through UPS you have the option of adding on a few dollars for insurance coverage on the package. We do this for almost all packages and when UPS delivered a box torn up with a giant hole to our customer, they did not bother to apologize to the customer or us or tape it up or reimburse us for additional costs incurred for replacing that package. Instead, the *** said this: Thank you for your response. Our records indicate that the claim for this shipment with tracking number 1Z60E266036947**** has been denied due to insufficient packaging. You will receive your e-mailed claim notification within 90 minutes If it's insufficient packaging then why isn't every single package of the same type arriving in the same condition? Instead of taking responsibility they decided to question our packaging. Really? I told the idiots to come by and pick up the box. They haven't done this probably because they are dragging their *** or they really don't want to reimburse $26. There are many more stories like this and it has always been a hassle to get UPS to step up. If I were in charge I would switch to Fedex. I would have switched to Fedex months ago. If YOU are in charge, then I suggest you avoid UPS.

all carriers have packaging guidelines they expect shippers to adhere to. the fact that you've had some packages not get damaged speaks to how good their service is, depite your efoorts, or lack thereof.

let's put it this way, you can drive hundreds of miles without your kids wearing a seatbelt, and they survive just fine.

but there may be that one time when a dog runs in front of your car, you slam on the brakes and little johnnie cracks his head on the windscreen.

figure your having sent many packages without proper packing and no damage was a cost savings and apply that to this loss, ie you are self insuring. btw, it's what amazon does too only they understand and don't go online acting like little b!tches.

UPS continues to retaliate against me!

Some time ago I ordered a large item. UPS refused to leave it at my door, even with a delivery signature release. So I called the closest hub, in Leesburg, FL. I had the displeasure of having to deal with a woman there named Carla. She was rude, inflexible, and unhelpful. The only way I could get my package was to drive to Leesburg, FL, over 50 miles away. And to make it worse, Calla insisted I had to arrive within a small window of time, less than an hour, to get my package. I had to borrow a truck, and then drove there. Even thought I made it within the time frame given, Carla was unhelpful when I arrived. She was on the phone, and simply waived me outside, pointing to where my package was. It was just leaning against a post outside, unattended. However, two nice UPS staff put it in my truck for me. I left. Then, I get a call from the police! Carla called the police and told them I stole the item! So, I complained about Carla and the situation. While the man, who claimed to be a District Manager, swore he'd make it right, and implored that we "start over," the Leesburg staff did not get that message. Even though this District Manager claimed my file was noted that I did not have to sign for any packages, after a little time, I am now not receiving my packages. No matter how small, I arrive home to find a note from UPS stating my signature is required, and thus, my delivery is delayed. Today was the most recent of these. I paid a PREMIUM to have my package delivered today because I am going out of town. Now, I have to wait another day for my package, and waste a vacation day, because UPS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

paranoid much? im sure they deal with upset people all the time. maybe have the people sending stop requesting a signature, even tho you say its ok the person on the sending side requested your signature.
