UPS stoled my package!

So I had an order from Coach coming via UPS when I noticed the tracking looked a bit funny. Houston, TX, United States 08/31/2012 3:56 P.M. Arrival Scan Jacksonville, FL, United States 08/29/2012 11:00 P.M. Forest Park, GA, United States 08/29/2012 3:23 P.M. Departure Scan 08/29/2012 9:57 A.M. Arrival Scan Jacksonville, FL, United States 08/29/2012 4:41 A.M. Departure Scan Jacksonville, FL, United States 08/28/2012 7:42 P.M. Origin Scan United States 08/28/2012 9:39 A.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS It is obvious that something doesn't look right here, why would it go back to the origin city?? OK, so passed that it was supposed to be delivered on 8/31/12. That day come and went and nothing. I called UPS just to have them tell me that I was supposed to have gotten my package on Friday 8/31 and that they don't know where my package is!! I made them start an investigation, and still nothing. I have the horrible feeling that my package it's not going to reappeared. How can this happen?

UPS in Chicago, Illinois - UPD did not deliver for days

I ordered some construction materials and paid 500 dollars extra to get it delivered earlier. UPS was supposed to deliver it on 8/31/2012. UPS showed on their web site as it is out for delivery. Today is September 4, 2012 time is 7;50 pm. Still did not get it and it shows as rescheduled for tomorrow. I could not understand what is going on with them. I have one word. They sucks. Better to work with Fedex. Or maybe we need to give chance to small companies to compete with giants. For instance A1 did one of my deliveries. They were fast and on time. I recommend them to everyone.

Stay AWAY from UPS at any cost!!!

My investment company did their part by sending me a check for a large amount last week through UPS. They even covered the $25 overnight delivery fee for me. I took Thursday off of work just to stay at home and make sure I was there to receive it. I waited ALL day long, and nothing....just to find out late in the evening that someone forgot it in the warehouse, and it was never even on a delivery truck. Noone bothered to inform me of any of this. The next day, I took another day off of work (2 days loss and wasted for nothing) and called the UPS 800 number, and the rep took my number and told me someone would call me from the local office near me with information re: my package. A woman called and told me around 10:15 am that it would arrive to me before noon that day (yesterday). She also left me with her call back number in case I needed to call again. At past 1 pm, still nothing. I called her back and told that I still hadn't received my package. She puts me on hold, and then comes back and tells me that my package DID indeed get scanned and physically removed from the warehouse and put on the truck, BUT they now can't find it! They were supposedly looking all day and night, and had managers even searching the warehouse and dispatching ALL drivers to check their trucks. Although the driver of the truck my check was supposedly put on, said she couldn't find it anywhere on her truck...And today I've called the 800 number several times to no avail, and everyone just keeps saying how sorry they are, but not taking any accountability for losing my package. I can't do anything since it's Saturday (as well as Labor Day wknd), and now I have no choice but to call my investment company on Tuesday, have them do a stop payment and send another check on Tuesday, and wait even longer. I've encountered huge financial setbacks and loss due to UPS and their horrible negligence. I have a strong suspicion that my check was stolen by someone working at UPS, and I'm contacting an attorney on Tuesday to start the process of filing a lawsuit against UPS. I will NEVER in life do any type of business with this company again. BEWARE OF UPS!!

Agreed with the previous comment about using USPS. They also offer tracking, and are cheap.

Fedex has very slow delivery, with not many tracking updates.

You are from CA, a sue-happy state... You should just learn to demand reimbursement and save everyone's time.

If you were able to wait until Tuesday, why did they send it overnight? Why did they pay $25 (A package rate) to send it UPS?

Wow!

This is like one of those comedic television commercials about people at the office that screwed up. In the Us, they could could have sent the letter Express Mail, through the USPS for half the price.

UPS IS A SHAME!!!!

It has been my second problem with UPS, but it will be tha last!!!! The driver only put the paper in my building door, he never knock the door or ring the bell. After the second attempt I called yesterday to 800 833 9943 and told that tey could hold my package because I was going to the store pick my package up. The guy told me that I had 5 business day to go the store. However I went there today, waited 32 minutes in a huge line, and then the attendant told me that my package was sent back to the shiper. He told me that the guy who talked to me problably forgot to put the information at their system... IT'S RIDICULOUS!!!!! I'LL NEVER USE UPS SERVICE AGAIN, NEVER!!!!!

Ups is the worst. At my last place, anytime I received shipment via ups the boxes were smashed and shed never ring or knock onthe door!!

II actually called ups, ended up speaking with local delivery manager whom sai he'd follow up. Next day there's a banging at my door and it was my ups lady asking me to explain what the problem was.

Uhm, what?? I call ups, explain what happended, and never saw that ups lady again and ups deliveries were no longer smashed and they were actually ringin my door!!!

UPS in Los Angeles, California - Paid extra for 2 day air. Got it 7 days later.

When I paid twice as much for 2 day air, instead of UPS ground, it was because I needed the assurance that the package would be delivered FAST. However, I got my much needed package, in about the same amount of time. Also, the UPS driver was a liar... UPS ***. My package shipped-out on the 1st. I expected it on the 3rd. On the 3rd, I received an automatic UPS notification late in the afternoon from UPS stating the following: "The customer was not available on the 1st attempt. A 2nd attempt will be made." I took the day off to receive this package. I sat by the door all day. No door knock. No door bell ring. Since it was friday, and the following Monday was a holiday, they delayed my package 7 days later... UPS ***. When I called UPS to ask why I didn't receive a "Sorry, we missed you" label on my door, the CSR said the driver actually tried to deliver my package to a different address. I don't blame the CSR, I blame the driver and/or UPS Corporate as a whole. I believe he couldn't deliver the package in his shift, either due to laziness or due to UPS understaffing and overpromising... either way... UPS ... U R ***...

UPS Has had may package for 3 weeks...

I can't make this up... Please track package number 1Z8038450349063480. Despite daily phone calls from the shipper and myself, UPS continues to send my package to Montana, I live in Louisiana. I spoke with a supervisor yesterday, who informed me, all packages were being re-routed to Salt Lake due to the hurricane. Which is BS!!! They've been sending my item to Salt Lake for 3 weeks! UPS has lost a loyal customer. Their poor delivery service is only surpassed by their lousy customer service. The customer service is the WORST I have ever encountered. Good Bye UPS!!!

Sorry but the tracking is hilarious to see it move from place to place. Did they confirm the address they have for you?

At least it looks like as of tonight it left BF Montana :). :zzz

UPS in Madison, Wisconsin - Rigid, Inflexible and Uncaring

Started early in the morning to correct a situation where a shipper erroneously marked "adult signature required". I asked the UPS delivery guy at my work if he could intervene. He did, assuring me that the product that was on schedule to be delivered did not require an adult signature. WRONG! My son answered the door and at at 16 could not sign for the merchandise. He had a note from me saying it was ok but the driver did not let him sign. He then would not agree to meet me to pick it up from the truck. I will now have to take time from work to go by their distribution center which is not convenient. Horrible mess . . . I always avoid UPS when possible.

UPS is awful

I am a working woman who travels for a living. I usually leave Sunday evening and return on Thursday evening. I work from home on Friday. This week I happened to get home Thursday afternoon. I just missed the third UPS notice. USP tried to deliver on Tuesday (1st attempt) and Wednesday (2nd attempt). I expected them to try when I was away but I figured I would pick it up on Friday. Remember the 3rd attempt notice was just left on my door this morning. I just called UPS to schedule the Friday pickup. BUT they have already returned it back to the sender. Why would they not give a few days leeway for those who travel for a living??? I can't believe they already sent it back by Thursday at 1pm. I am so pissed that they didn't spread out the deliver out or keep the package for at least one day at the local site. I hate UPS! What bad customer service!!!!!

UPS sucks, big time!!!

They always screw up my orders, they never come when they are supposed to, and they charge SO MUCH MORE than USPS, for a completely inferior job. When I order something, I demand that they do not ship it UPS , or I order from someone else. Anyway, my work placed an order for my business cards. They were supposed to be here 5 days ago, we track the package, and it was in my state, 1/2 hour away, six days ago, and then instead of going out for delivery the sorter shipped it back to where it came from. I explain, "I need these business cards, I am printing out my email address to give people my info. Can you please overnight them?" They casn't, the package has been sorted and there's too many packages to do that... The only company that ever screws up my delivery is UPS, and they do it predictably. God I hate this company...

UPS wrong day delivery

Seriously, I ordered my package on Thursday from Urban Outfitters and they use UPS to ship. It apparently got shipped on Friday but won't be here until Wednesday which is the day I start school. It was using the 3 day select. I consider 3 days to have been: Friday, Monday, &Tuesday. But no. Now I won't have my shoes for tomorrow, when I thought they'd arrive today. There aren't any words to describe how upset I am about this. The worst part is that there's nothing I can do about it and the fact that my shoes are being moved around at the pace of a slug.

you consider 3 day select to be Fri, Mon, and Tue? so by that logic, shipping something 1 day shipping would get there when?
