UPS in Snowflake, Arizona - What "Brown" Will Not Do For You Today
It has been confirmed that UPS Management has made a decision that they will not make delivery of cigarettes from authorized vendors. UPS will delivery cigars and smokeless tabbaco products but not cigarettes. Must be another social decision? When will UPS decide that delivery of wine, sugary products, or any other item their management decides is un-social be added to their list of non-deliverables. One must wonder what political influence was involved with the UPS Management decision after the US Post Office was also forbidden to deliver cigarettes. Cigarettes are probably unhealthy but isn't that an individual decision? or should it be decided by a delivery company's management -- or our government (for our own good of course -- them being wiser than we are).
UPS cannot deliver
I've booked a collection with UPS which agreed to collect the item between 9 am to 3pm. They were not able to give me a slot of time. So, I had to wait. When 3pm came and UPS didn't I phoned customers' service which informed me it would be collected by 5pm. I phoned a number of times and each time I was told a different story. Your warehouse staff tried to tell me they had no means of communication with the drivers. I then asked about the automated tracking system. The excuse was the car had broken down. Laughable if not utterly annoying! I was promised by customers' service the warehouse would contact me which they didn't. I was then told the collection would be by 6pm, by 7pm and finally by 8pm. I was not able to speak with anyone anymore as customers' service closed for the day. At 8pm just before the customer's service closed I was informed the warehouse tried to contact me but nobody answered. It was a lie!! I was sitting by the phone. Clearly UPS is in the wrong line of business if cannot deliver/collect within 11 hours or admit they were not turning up. UPS is not apt to do its core business. Really unprofessional company with empty apologies. Businesses like Collect plus are growing and who knows big corporations will treat its customers better.
Costco sent my package by UPS to my small town in Newfoundland. There is no UPS in Newfoundland, so it was handed of to Purolator. Purolator does not deliver to my small town in Newfoundland. Therefore my package sits in St. John's for two weeks. I am 1 hour away from St. Johns and I cant get my package delivered. This is insane. UPS says they didn't know, you cant call Purolator..no phone number here in Newfoundland....so my parcel sits. I finally (after six calls to UPS) got them to look into it...they might put it into Canada Post....hmmm. So if you live in Newfoundland, outside a major city, DO NOT USE UPS!!!...in fact..dont use any courier.
Well, at least they lost it and you might be able to file a claim. I am living a nightmare right now because of UPS. Their driver come and doesn't ring my bell leave a return card and that happened for two days in a row. I was home the whole time, when you ring the...
UPS left message on our door that they could not deliver a package since it required a signature. We called within 15 minutes to find out how we could retrieve the package. The voice prompts on the automated phone system somehow misinterpreted one of our answers and...
UPS Store holds my mail hostage
Everyday Gardena California UPS Store has the mail delivered to the store around noon or 1pm Everyday I go to the UPS Store to get my mail and I'm told The mail is here buy they have not sorted it yet and they won't have it sorted for 2 to 4 hours because they ate busy. How convient the store can't sort mail for today until they are closed So as a paying customer I get my mail when the store employees feel like doing their job and I finally get my mail 1 or 2 days late or longer As a paying customer u want my mail when it arrives at the store
UPS is horrible.
UPS left a message at my door for the missed package delivery. Upon calling i was told i can pick up my package from their riverside location in edison , nj. I reached the place around 8:45. there was a big line, I stood in line for more than 2 hrs. after that they told me they do not have my package. The lady at the location was really slow and did not talk properly and attended the customers. and now they do not have any information about the package. I needed this package urgently because i have a flight next day morning. I will not chose UPS in future.
1 Day Air Ship = 5 Day UPS Ship
I was trying to ship a package from Orlando, FL to Boca Raton, FL which is just a 1 day ship, but to be sure that it actually did arrive in one day (ship wed. arrive thurs), I paid extra for 1 day Air delivery. Well it is a good thing the is was just important paperwork and not a heart for a transplant because then I would have been really screwed. When I called on Thursday to find my package the tracking stated that there was a mistake in the sorting and "corrective action" has been taken. Fine, mistakes happen I will get a refund, fine.. Meanwhile Friday, I call again and it has yet another of this "corrective action" has been taken. Let me ask...How many times do you have to make a mistake before you actually do your job and ship your package. Apparently the package is STILL in Orlando, that is 2 days later, and the envelope hasn't even moved from where it was dropped off. At this point, I MAY get this package by Monday or Tuesday if I'm lucky. Funny part is I am going to Orlando on Saturday, but I can't just pick up my package because apparently it has already been rerouted - maybe. They should pay me to do their job, I would have gotten my package faster. The person I spoke with was fine on the phone, the problem is not with the customer service all of the time, it is there system of shipping that is wrong. I don't know what they need to do but they should work on their "Logistics" so that they can make their customer service reps' lives' easier. Thank You UPS for doing absolutely nothing and taking my money. I appreciate it.
UPS in Milledgeville, Illinois - NICE driver not nice service
I work in front part of a law firm office along with a few other coworkers. I am still in school so I am just trying to get my foot in the door. Our boss told us to be on the look out for a VERY important next day air document, which must be delivered by 10:30 via UPS. It wasn't until about 10:45 when the driver came in to deliver! My boss was furious. It was not the normal guy and this guy was looked extremely panicked saying he didnt know the route and he was just covering for the day... After about 5 mins of getting chewed out by my boss I felt really bad for this guy. He was very apologetic, so I offered him a bottle of water. He gladly accepted after my boss had left the front of the building. We told him to take his time so he could catch his breath. He called his boss to explain what had happened and asked for help. I started going back to work as usual almost forgetting the UPS man was in the office. Then i got a text from my coworker across the room. It said "look at MR. BIG", confused I looked up and she was gesturing toward the driver who was on his phone. I look over and he was leaning against a chair and the outline of his you know what was clearly visible!! It looked almost exactly like he had put a banana in his pants but you could see the end of it. The biggest I have seen is my boyfriends which is like a hot dog but shorter. I cant even imagine what Mr.UPS would be like excited. I hope he doesnt get in trouble so I can see more of him. I love my boyfriend, but I cant stop thinking about what it would be like...
UPS tries 3x to deliver, after that your screwed
I had ordered a mattress topper from Kohls, but they actually never carried the item, so it got sourced out to a vendor to deliver via UPS. I got a dumb little notice on my door saying it was their 'second attempt" at delivering which was a lie since it was actually their first, so they came one more time, and oh ALAS I was at this dumb little thing, we as American's like to call A JOB! So when they made their half-*** delivery attempt during the week M-F I wasn't home...I know UPS, it's my fault. So, I log on to their website and track the package and request for it to be left at their store so I can pick it up myself. 3 days later I was off and ready to retrieve my item, I log on, and it said the package was signed for? Being that it only could have been me, I was perplexed to say the least. I call UPS, and this lady reading from a script of trouble-shooting issues says I need to contact the seller, and that was all she could do. "Is there anything else I can assist you with today ma'a," she says, (me) "no, no, you've been so helpful" loaded with sarcasm of course, and she says "ok, well thank you for calling UPS, and have a good night" Needless to say, I had to reorder the item, pay more because it was no longer on sale, ALL because UPS is a piece of ***!
