UPS cant find my address

We are awaiting the delivery of a package. We are a school in the middle of London. Our premises occupy a half a block. Although we provided our school name with its full address and Post code we have been informed that the driver couldnt find it. This is what we found on UPS's tracking system: 30/11/2012 19:39 Directions to the receiver's location are needed for delivery UPS is attempting to obtain this information / Directions to receiver's location are found The delivery has been rescheduled London, United Kingdom 29/11/2012 21:31 A correct street name is needed for delivery UPS is attempting to obtain this information / UPS will contact the sender with details 29/11/2012 17:55 A Delivery Change Request for this package will be processed / Rescheduled Delivery. 29/11/2012 14:19 A correct street name is needed for delivery. UPS is attempting to obtain this information. It is now the 3/12/12 and UPS have been called 8 times and allthough they confirmed on the 29th that the address is correct we still have not received the package

UPS in Denver, Colorado - 3rd Attempt at my apartment = FAIL

Ordered a super deal from Amazon on the recent Black Friday Sale and had it shipped to my apartment. After living in this complex for the past 6+ years, they suddenly decide that they WILL NOT deliver it to the office and let them sign for it (why? unknown). I've spent thousands of dollars through many different online retailers and UPS's track record is so unstable, where items have been left at my door step or in the office. Not once had they done this. Now the item is going back to Amazon for a credit, and just a credit, so if I want the same item, I have to pay 40% more than what I was getting. So between UPS SUDDENLY changing policy (or as someone mentioned in another post, the driver had better things to do), and Amazon not honoring the fact that I needed that item that I could suddenly afford, even if I was to pay for shipping coming back, I get nothing but a credit. UPS and Amazon.... go to ***. I'll use other retailers and pay for FedEx shipping from now on.

Unacceptable UPS

Paid for overnight shipping on an item I needed and had it shipped to my apartment's leasing office which typically receives packages every day. I got a notification that UPS could not find the adress and now I will not be able to receive my package for at least 4 days assuming they actually deliver it this time. Their pickup office is not open on sayurdays so I cannot retreive the package myself before I leave on a business trip. I was not offered any compensation when I spoke to cutomer service. This is unacceptable; if you job is to get things from one place to another you are expected to know where things are. I have had packages delivered to this address many times, including from UPS! I received confirmation of a different delivery from FedEx just today.

UPS screwed me

Shipped a bed frame to NY from CA to a customer. Due to Hurricane Sandy backlog, package is delayed past anticipated delivery date, and customer will be out of town. So we agree that I will "Intercept" package with UPS, have them hold it, and deliver at a later date, for a small fee. I login, find package, "intercept" it, schedule redelivery for later date. All is cool. Fast forward 2 weeks, I come home in a rainstorm to find package out in my driveway, getting drenched. I contact UPS, find out that my "intercept" was somehow computed as "return to sender." So now I have filed a claim, but am certainly out the money spent on the original shipment. Hopefully this claim goes somewhere, so I can use it to pay FedEx to ship it to NY.

UPS - Where the customer does all the work!

UPS Driver says she left our package. Nope! Turns out she delivered to a vacant house (With no visable address). Even though she admitted it, we have to do all the work. After an hour of back and fourth with the local UPS manager, we have to call the 1800#. After another 40 minutes of hold time between transfers we are told that WE have to contact the company we ordered from and have them put a trace on our package. The package that their driver already said was delivered to the wrong house. Waste resources on a trace, when she knows where it went? Shouldn't UPS have their reps contact the company for us, since it was their driver that decided to leave a package at a home with no address? I would think that would be the least they could do. I know mistakes happen, and I was glad that they admitted it, but they need to make it right. I don't work for them, so why do I have to waste my time making all the calls? Never again!

UPS the worst

First time I shipped OVERNIGHT an envelope and it got to its destination after a WEEK. Second time someone shipped again an overnight envelope to me and they delivered it at a wrong address. I had to make 10 calls until I got them to get it back from the wrong address and then I had to go meet the UPS delivery guy somewhere on his route to get the envelope . They said The envelope had a different address on it . Of course when I got the envelope after a couple of days ( NOT OVERNIGHT WHICH I PAYED FOR !!!) the address was correct and clear . Third time was yesterday when I mailed again an overnight envelope ( guaranteed next day delivery...!!!) . I can not even track the envelope online because it's not in the system yet .When I called the customer service the lady responded to me very irritated. Of course they have it in the warehouse and they will deliver now in three days because now its the weekend. I shipped Thursday at @ 2 pm , Friday WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED BY 3:30 PM WHICH i PAYED FOR !!! WELL...IT WILL BE DELIVERED ON MONDAY NOW...IF THEY DON'T LOOSE IT AGAIN... so DEAR UPS I USE A LOT of THE OVERNIGHT SERVICES AND GUESS WHAT...? I WILL NEVER USE U AGAIN EVER!!! USPS never lost any of my packages and so Fedex. *** UPS !!!

UPS delivery service

We all need to stop using UPS as a delivery method. They fail to deliver the product on a timely basis and are inconcistenenat in every method of getting ones service met. When calling to set up a deliver they can not make the date one is at home unless you pay a $6.00 fee so their basis is when they make the trip reguardless of the customers time. They attempted to deliver a package on Friday and I wasn't home so now it will be the following Monday. I called and asked to make it Tuesday since I won't be home or Thursday and their response was no it has to be Monday for their next attemp or pay 6. to make the change. Makes perfect sense doesn't it!! They will wast their fuel and manpower to come to the house when I already know no one will be there. Can I arrest them for trespassing when no one is home? This company is the ultimate worst to deal with and use for any purpose. PLEASE PLEASE use any other service and lets somehow cause UPS go out of service.

UPS worst company

UPS is the worst company on the planet with the most absurd customer "service". For the last decade, EVERY single time I've "had" to use their services, or expect a package sent by someone else, 100% of the times I've received an Exception email notifying me that I'd get it at a later time. Sometimes I don't even get an email and have to check the tracking info. The latest excuse for a package supposed to be delivered on Thursday was that due to the high volume of packages due to the holiday season coming up it wasn't loaded on the truck, TWICE. So got the first exception it would arrive on Fri and then without a notification, I checked online and it got pushed to a Monday delivery. Their excuse was the same I've been getting for years, that for ground shipping there is no guarantee, which also mean it could be delayed indefinitely. If you have a choice, DO NOT use UPS, you are better off going with USPS since the delivery time will end up being just about the same, at 1/4 of the cost and less agitation.

UPS lied

I recently bought my children a PS3 and ordered it at game stop they gave me a tracking number and my children were checking it constantly. When the day the system was supposed to have arrived my children waited outside all day when they checked on the tracking page it said that they had tried to deliver it but no one was home. How in the world that was possible I don't know unless the delivery vehicle is invisible. I am truly disappointed since this is the first time anything like this has happened. I sincerely hope that this not happen again and that UPS gets a better staff.

UPS SUCKS!!!!! I ordered an item from several companies.

Each time they make me wait at home all *** day for them to deliver my packages "BY END OF DAY." Meanwhile, FEDEX delivers ALL of my packages during the day or sometimes in the morning. COME ON UPS, FIX YOUR DELIVERY SERVICES!!!!!

UPS has LOUSEY Services!

I can't stand UPS...their delivery SUCKS! They are refusing to hold a package for me so I can pick it up myself. I have been calling them all week & they are saying that I have to wait for a first delivery instead of just leaving it at the facility so I can pick it up. That means I will probably not get my package until next week. WTF IS WRONG WITH THEM??? There is never a time when I don't have a problem with UPS. NEVER!!!!! I spoke with these idiots tonight after waiting from 3pm & it is now 10:30 pm & they said the driver "FORGOT" to deliver it???? WHAT BULL! YET THEY REFUSED TO INFORM THEM TO LEAVE THE PACKAGE AT THE FACILITY SO I CAN PICK IT UP!!!! I spoke with an Anna & she SAID RYAN A (***) SUPERVISOR, both from the Tampa Fla facility. Their personnel are not very helpful all through this process. When people work they should not be hassled when it comes to deliveries. BTW I think it absolutely SUCKS that UPS wants to charge people to make special instructions on their deliveries through the website. ARE THEY CRAZY WHEN THEY CAN'T EVEN ACCOMMODATE PEOPLE OVER THE PHONE????
