UPS in London, England - Have broken a gift which was sent to New Zealand
Sent a gift through ups which was bubble wrapped and in a bubble wrap packaging When it arrived at the address it was broken it was a imprint of my sons footprint as it was His first Christmas and his grandparents live in New Zealand Very disappointed as I bubble wrapped it and put fragile front and Back of the parcel which I thought would be satisfactory for the parcel to get There. The delivery cost a great deal so one would of thought it would get There in one piece. Very unhappy and disappointed that this has happened . Thank u
Ups sunnyvale customer center, very bad experience
Same as other people mentioned before, i had same bad experience with UPS Sunnyvale CA delivery. my package suppose to be delivered on Christmas eve, based on UPS status information, the package would be delivered on day before Christmas. However, when I checked the status at 7:00pm, the status said "first attempt failed" due to no one at home, I was at home whole day and just waited for the packages, it is also no poster showed on the door. I believe Sunnyvale UPS deliver even not bother to drive to my home and just went home for Christmas' eve dinner. Very disappointed!

UPS plays Grinch to 85 Year Old Woman in Altoona, Iowa Thanks to a UPS driver who entered bad weather as his/her excuse for not delivering packages scheduled for delivery by 8 p.m. Christmas Eve, my 85-year old mother will not get her main Christmas present from me on Christmas Day and will not have her main Christmas present for my sister on Christmas Day. Both packages, out for UPS delivery as of 8:49 a.m. on Christmas Eve Day, with scheduled delivery by 8 p.m. the same day, were returned to the UPS store 49 minutes early at 7:11 p.m. with a notation “Delay in delivery due to weather or natural disaster “. This was despite UPS being able to deliver packages earlier that same day to me, at my home 10 minutes away from my mother’s, and despite the bad weather being four days earlier. When I contacted UPS and spoke to a manager prior to the 8 p.m. scheduled delivery time, I explained that my mother had left her front door open and spent most of the day in an uncomfortable chair by the open door so she could bring the items (both digital devices) in out of the cold as soon as they were delivered. The UPS manager contacted the local UPS center to see if they could still deliver the package on Christmas Eve, per the original schedule. When the local UPS center was unwilling to send someone out with the packages so they could be received on the scheduled date, I volunteered to drive to the store to pick the packages up. The local UPS center indicated that none of the packages returned on the trucks were going to be rescanned tonight. Apparently the reference to the package being rescanned at 7:11 p.m. was as inaccurate as the excuse the driver used for not doing their job and delivering the packages. I am now worried that the packages are going to sit in a cold truck (the temperature is currently 10 degrees) until Wednesday morning when UPS opens again. Merry Christmas, UPS! I don’t plan on using UPS for anything I need to send in the future, and if given a choice of UPS or any other delivery service for items I purchase, plan on choosing a different company, one that understands what service is.
UPS in San Diego, California - United Parcel Service
I am a business owner in southern california and have a UPS account. UPS delivers daily to my company and requires a signature for all packages they deliver. I Shipped a package of Christmas gifts valued at $1000.00 to relatives IN THE Discovery Bay area of California via UPS. I thought they would have someone sign for it or leave a note for the package to be picked up at the UPS facility if no one was home. UPs claims the driver left it on the porch.The package is no where to be found. I TRUSTED UPS to deliver my package.They are a lousy business.
UPS: Rude Employees and TERRIBLE Delivery Practices
I called UPS regarding an order that was not moving at a reasonable pace for standard UPS delivery. When I asked the customer representative why my package sat at a UPS site for OVER 24 HOURS, prior to "departure" scan, she actually hung up on me! Will be using FedEx from here on baby! UPS, you have received your last red cent from me!!!! I understand that holidays may cause "some" backup and slow-down, but I have ZERO TOLERANCE when it comes to a package simply sitting at a UPS site for OVER 24 HOURS on a week day!

I contacted customer service requesting 3 DAYS in advance to have a LOCAL package delivered, at a specific time. This delivery will be a 2nd attempt, as it is going to an office and hours are limited. They said they CAN'T follow my request and can only follow what is "posted" on the door; ie office hours. Ridiculous! Don't bother with UPS. Regardless if you call a week in advance, for a local delivery, requesting to have either 2nd or 3rd attempt to be delivered at a specific time to avoid lack of recipient. Please go elsewhere as it may be easier.
UPS Useless Package Service-Unscrupulous Package Scammers
UPS = USELESS PACKAGE SERVICE. Ordered product & paid Extra $$ for UPS 2nd Day Air. It arrived in Boston Airport @ 8:00 a.m. Out for delivery to me from UPS Terminal in Somerville MA @ 8:41 a.m. I live in Somerville 2 miles from UPS. Waited till Midnight still no package. In 15 Hours UPS truck could not make the 2 mile 10 minute trip to my home to deliver package??? Next day I emailed UPS looking for my package. UPS Response Response (Tina C.) 12/22/2012 07:06 PM @ UPS Dear John, Thank you for your e-mail. I have checked the status of your shipment in our tracking system. Our tracking records show that your shipment was delivered late due to adverse weather conditions. As a result, this shipment does not qualify for a Guaranteed Service Refund. Our guarantee does not apply to shipments that are delayed due to causes beyond our control What Adverse Weather conditions...The plane made it to Boston. It rained, NO Snowstorm, NO Hurricane. NO road/traffic problems, Just ordinary rain. My package was not delivered due to gross incompetence and UPS UNSCRUPULOUS PACKAGE SCAMMERS give their standard LIE excuse. Not 1st time this has occurred, similar event 4 months earlier. So here it is FIVE DAYS later and I'm still WAITING for my UPS 2nd Day Air package. Maybe what everyone should do who do not get their package deliveries on time from UPS is to (when UPS finally shows with the package refuse it), them the shippers will be pissed and stop using UPS. UPS in Alexandria, Virginia - Ripped off customer
You really know how to destroy a deceased veterans daughter's Christmas, my niece. I purchased a Loft Bed for her, for 400.00, and paid 200.00 to ship it, on Fort Belvoir, where it was purchased and has a U.P.S. store. The box was sealed by the manufacturer, and yes it was insured. But that didn't stop you from offering me 100. wow...... I guess that is how you make millions, off the backs trusting people. An yes you have the bill of lading, which not only shows the insurance, but that it should have been sent freight, so the *** who put it on the conveyor belt and destroyed it, thank you, and to you U.P.S. you may not go out of business, however you will NEVER get my business
UPS delivery shinanigans
UPS kept my Bose and put the delivery info from another package (from 8 days later) onto the Bose and tried to claim they delivered it. When they couldn't come up with correct delivery info, they pulled the legitimate tracking info from their website. Lucky I made copies of all of it and submitted it to Bose, who agreed with me and sent a replacement to my appartment office and it was signed for. 2 months later UPS was trying to say the second delivery was the first delivery. I told them I had possession of documentation & would contact the FTC if they continued to harass me. They stopped.
UPS in Woodside, New York - HOW DO THEY STAY IN BUSINESS?
What an incompetent company. They could find or deliver a parcel even if it were attached to them. Checking out the amount of complaints I’ve seen posted it’s a wonder they are still in business. I order something from Amazon and paid extra to have it delivered within 2 days. I order it on the Dec. 19th 2012. When I didn’t received it on the the 21st , I went on line to track it. It was last scanned at the Hub in Maspeth N.Y. , by the way which is approx.. 20 minutes by car from my house, without traffic, with traffic it’s about an hour and a half. I called their 1-800 number and spoke with someone with an attitude problem. She wouldn’t let me get a word in at all. She told me that it’s in Maspeth, which I knew already and , that it’s on some kind of tract trailer truck waiting to be load onto a UPS truck to be delivered on the 21st of Dec. She told me to go on line and keep checking or have an e-mail sent to my phone. When I asked about call Maspeth directly she said that they will not pick up their phone. All she can do is to send an e-mail to them. So, the next day, having received no e-mail concerning my parcel. I checked on line and found that nothing been done, it hasn’t been scanned for delivery and there was a little dialogs box stating “not scanned for delivery” with the word “EXECPTION” THAT”S ALL! No explanation what UPS meant by “EXECPTION”! Was my parcel broken, was it stolen.,(IF you check the news recently UPS drivers seen to be in to that!) or whatever. So I called the same 1-800 number and waited the usually 15 minutes to get someone, and that person told me what knew already. What a real joke! He made up some strange excuse, “ Due to severe weather conditions it still waiting to be delivered. As I mentioned earlier, I lever apprx. 30 minutes away and the average temp for the last week was about 45-50 degrees. WHAT SEVER WEATHER CONDITIONS. When I told him this he finally admitted that it’s still on the tractor trailer truck waiting to be loaded on to the regular UPS truck. Understand that this tractor trailer truck is in Maspeth next to the UPS truck. I asked him will it be here by Christmas Eva because it’s a Christmas present. He told me that he couldn’t guarantee this. I called Amazon and there are willing to return the express shipping fee. They also said that this seem to be the norm with UPS. I am a letter carrier for the post office. I understand that this is a busy season for parcels. We have letters to carry as well as parcels, and this season we have tons of them. BUT! We come in early and all parcels are delivered on time. One other things try going directly to one of the hubs to pick up your parcel. Be prepared to wait on any given day approx. an hour and a half to 2 hours also be willing to beg to get your parcel. DO NOT get angry with the *** who gets his trills by making you wait or you may wait even longer!
