I received a notice that a delivery was missed. It said that the next day the package would be delivered between 2-5. I cleared my schedule for this delivery. It is now 9pm and still no delivery. I contacted ups and they said that the package could be delivered at 10....

UPS is just a ridiculous company!! I scheduled a pick up the first time and waited from 9am (the appointment time is from 9am to 1pm) till all day but no one from the UPS has come.

I got so angry and called their customer service to talk about this issue. How they answer was that there might be some accident due to the weather condition (it was sunny that day by the way, hahaha!!) or other reasons, but this doesn't happen usually. The best way I can schedule another pick up. And I DID!!!

The second time is scheduled from 9am to 12pm, I waited until 3pm and there's still not yet anyone coming! I called again, the representative was totally wordless because it's already the second time and it's sunny again by the way!!! Finally she said usually the driver will drop by before 6pm. I was thinking, if it is 6pm, why schedule from 9am to 12pm??

Again, I missed my school appointment!

Now I learned my lesson! I'll never use UPS, this *** company again!

UPS DESTROYED MY PACKAGES - TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY

I sold a pair of floor speakers on ebay. I shipped them from New Mexico to Pennsylvania. Each speaker weighed about 60 pounds. I asked the UPS Store how they would pack them and followed their recommendations. I also bought the insurance. What a complete waste of money. The speakers arrived damaged beyond use. I filed the claim and they denied it saying that they were not packed well enough. Of course they said that! It is up to them if they decide to pay me back. Why did I ever think they would take responsibility? So they charged me $85 to ship each speaker, my items were damaged by them not being careful with them, and they take no responsibility. Now I am out the $170 I paid them because I trusted that they would deliver them safely, along with the $400 I had to refund my buyer. And UPS walks away clean. I can tell you I would NEVER ship a large or heavy package with UPS again. I am only glad that I did not pay them the $240 they wanted to use express shipping. I would have been out another $480. No wonder UPS makes a profit of over 1 billion dollars a year - they take it from their customers. I will do everything possible to never use UPS to ship or receive anything again! BUYER BEWARE!!!

1. Packages (when shipped from retailer via UPS) were left in front of our garage, instead of the front door (where they usually are left). In front of the garage the packages got wet to the point they needed to be re-packed for shipping. The front door has more...

Quit trying to put the blame on someone else, it is ALL your fault !

UPS Driver doesn't like our street

I have been waiting for packages that were to be delivered yesterday. I called UPS and they said the local delivery facility would return my call within a hour. Did not happen.I just learned on line that they won't be delivered today either.because the road is not plowed. We have had 1" of snow yesterday; this is Vermont! Roads do not get plowed for 1" of snow. Now they say I cannot go pick up my packages until 7:30 at night. The package I am worried about is perishable and should not remain on a truck for days of storage. Their attitude is not the attitude we used to get from UPS. They just don't care.

UPS in Minneapolis, Minnesota - Zero Customer Service

The drivers need to make some attempt to actually deliver a package. Leaving instructions isn't always an option when getting a delivery from a store. Here's what I got for delivery service over a week (including weekend) period. 1st attemp - no notice, 2nd attempt - no notice, 3rd attempt - return to sender notice and notice for 2nd attempt. Customer service said I'd get a call from the local center, message they left said package returned call 1-800-UPS or contact amazon about delivery. I ordered through a store... 2nd call wanted to file a complaint after explaining everything and they then asked what I wanted to complain about!?!?!?! This whole time all they had to do was take 30 seconds to look up my name on my apartment call box and ring my cell phone directly and wait 1 minute while i came downstairs.

Drivers do not have time to wait around for a person to come to the door.

If they only had a handful of stops in a 9 hour day, they would be able to.

They leave with more than 150 individual addresses per day, there fore they are not able to wait around.

LAZY UPS employees

they know so well that the apt# is at the 3rd floor...they didnt even bother to call up or scream that there's a delivery. I was just home that day dammit! I never heard anyone calling out from downstairs! they give tracking info that says by 3 PM the next day but they come around 1pm??? what the ***??? at least with Fed-ex, you have an approximate time to wait for the next day delivery..I am so pissed with UPS...I will NEVER use that ever! people at UPS, we have a life too, you know. We can't waste one whole day just waiting for a freakin' package.

UPS in Kelowna, British Columbia - They need to get ouf of the stone age

they give you a tracking number. You make the day free for delivery, for three days you look at the tracking info, to make sure all is going well, including the morning of the delivery. You wonder at noon what is going on, and see that after your last check of the tracking number, at 10;30 a.m., they decide to change the delivery date without consulting with you. They claim they did not have the buzzer number. Funny they were able to call me this evening, they couldn't have done so before, or even this morning. drivers can't have cellphones, supposedly because they will use it while driving. They could park the car (or do they just throw their: I was here, you weren't notices out of the moving car), call, and make the delivery. Get out of the stone ages, and by the way, Purolator is no better. Please, oh, please, let's keep the post office. I get a notice, I walk over to the post office, three blocks away, at my leisure, and then it is done. The UPS and Purolator people want me to drive out to the airport to pick it up. I will never use those services again, and companies that do won't get my business. Just the post office for me

UPS in Reading, Pennsylvania - Shipping Charges

I sold something big on eBay. I used UPS's website to calculate shipping charges to make sure I was charging enough shipping. I went to the store and they told me it was $20 more. After it was all over, I ended up paying $78 for something that I received $75 for (including shipping costs). I would have been better off putting it out for the trash! The problem was that it was a big package, so the actual weight (on which the website estimate is based) is irrelevant. They added close to 30 lbs. to the shipping weight.

google "dimensional weight."

all carriers use dimensions to calculate shipping cost. when using the websites to estimate shipping, NEVER use the quick cost calculator, use the detailed method. like any estimate, the more information you can provide, the more accurate the quote.

It was Raining fairly heavy but I know he saw me and after setting my package at the wrong place i waited and as he drove by i waved my arms and yelled and he rolls down his window looks at me slows down a little and as i walk to him he floors it and speeds off as to say F U I'm not going back out there to get ur package you can walk in the Pouring rain thew the mud to get ur soaked package the i left in the rain. So i did i had to walk thew the pouring rain thew the mud and lighting to get my soaked package on the porch of the abandoned house. What pissed me off the most was i know he saw me and all he had to do was back up and grab my package but he ignored me and just drove off. they need to teach there drivers courtesy.
