lol @ rick...exactly.

maybe when you didn't answer the door the driver felt your package was safer left by the garage. in fact if you were confused and you had tracked the package, you would have seen it CLEARLY states that it was left at the garage. are your really that obtuse?

i sent a very important legal envelope with legal documents to peru thru ups over 3 weeks ago which was expected to arrive 4-7 days. i was in the office for almost an hour while the incompetent manager was trying to figure out how to send this. she informed me that...

most likely when you were told ups would cost $60+ you cried and moaned and asked for something cheaper. cheaper usually comes with less service, and in this case, no abilty to help get your package back.

try this experiment, put a stamp on a letter, put it in a nearby blue usps box, wait a day, then ask your mail carrier where that letter is...same situation. the ups store you shipped at gave it to the post office.

they are not persoanlly carrying it to peru. nor do they have a super secret password to contact postal carriers either in the us or peru.

Ups parcel pick up

29/1/13. Expected UPS to pick up a parcel between 9am and 5pm. At about 10:30ish, I noticed a Ups van drive passed our place. Around 2:30pm called their customer service number who told me ' an attempt was made this morning to pick up our package but no one was in, and apparently they left a note. (No Note) What a utter LIE! Told them I saw a van pass our place this morning without stopping. They couldn't care less and only wanted us to rearrange another date.. I have read their awful reviews and agree UPS should be avoided. PLEASE DO NOT USE UPS. USELESS AND UNHELPFUL.

UPS in Nanuet, New York - Delivered my package to someone else

Not the first time this happened: online, they marked my packages as delivered, but they were not delivered to me at all. To make matters worse, they delivered someone else's package to my doorstep, so that when I called to try and track my package, they insisted that it was delivered. I said,'yes, it's marked delivered, because you delivered someone else's package to me', they said *** things, like, 'are you sure?' and 'did you check all of your doorstep?' ***, horrible people. They said that they spoke to the driver and he insisted that he delivered the package. Felt like I was talking to the brain dead: 'yes, he did deliver something to my door, but it was not MY package!!'

UPS Poor service and unhelpfull

I have had two failures made by UPS in 2 weeks. The first was last week. On that occasion the package was logged as being on van for delivery on Tuesday around 0700. I waited in all day and nothing appeared. Around 1900 I checked the tracking system and it had logged an exception and showed a status:- The package was missed at the UPS facility, UPS will deliver on the next business day. I had to wait until around 1800 the following day! This week the identical thing has happened. I rang customer services - who tell me the driver has just run out of time. It appears the website lies - presumably the scan onto the van proves it got on the van. Customer services could tell me only that it would be delivered sometime tomorrow up to 1900. I asked him to ring the Sedgefield depot and ask them to give me first delivery. He refused. I am totally apalled by their service. 12 hour delivery slots! I will never use them again by choice. Much better service by DPD with 2 hour delivery slots texted to you.

UPS in Rio Rancho, New Mexico - In four years with correct address can't get deliveries without Pulling my Hair out!!!!

Since moving to New Mexico can't get any service at all. Have tried to complain to terminal in Albuquerque for over four years. Driver lies says, I live near Grants New Mexico but I live 6 miles form city hall in Rio Rancho, Grants is 84 miles from Rio Rancho. To make it worse with me being about 6 miles form city hall, they pass me going to the local gun club which is about 14 to 15 miles from me. Once I proved to the terminal that I was no where near Grants, the driver had been lying to them. His excuse changed to wrong address. For years we have split hairs over 41st Avenue verses being read 41 street. Guess drivers don't know how to read well here. I have a heart patient at home and my mother is on oxygen because of her blood clots in her lungs 86. We are off the grid and making our own electricity. The delivery is the circuit board for our wind turbine. I call when I saw tracking number sheet said wrong address on of the two excuses they always use. Sure enough I call the 800 number and find that is what the driver put but as usual the address is correct. So now I can't get needed componet until monday! THere is no one at the terminal and they can't contact driver.

During these years of terrible service I have talked to the terminal more than several times. Taken a drawn map and explicit instructions on how to get to my location.

One of the funnies is that they said that 41st avenue was read as 41 st (taking st as street avenue) and they didn't know where to go. :x

I have in the past asked the terminal manager to drive out in his car or her's.To see that I'm not as far as they say and not difficult to find.. Wonder if I should as again. Have asked several times before.

Also UPS 800 number says they don't have access to corporate telephone number. I find that unusual.

It is costing me $90.00 a day with out that board.

Making heart patient upset.

Any Ideas out there :zzz

Now I'm really mad called 800 number and they have no notes from my call yesterday....Even though I talked to rep and superior... Got the name this time "Darrell" I think in India...Told him if he didn't take notes and get it to Albuquerque terminal I would report him.

Then I asked how many Darrell are there. :(

UPS in Boston, Massachusetts - Idiots

UPS has been leaving notices on the front door of our 10 unit building in Boston for two days. No name, no apartment number, nothing, except notices of "attempted delivery." To whom, UPS, are you trying to deliver? Should people this dumb be driving your delivery trucks? Your business is shipping, no? And union is willing to protect these workers? Shippers trust these yahoos? Not me! Incompetence has rise to an all time high with UPS. I tried to call the 800 number and talk with "customer service." I explained that it would be helpful if UPS actually used a customer's name or apartment number. The guy said, "Yes, you have a point." After looking up the tracking number, he told me it was apartment #6. I said, "Well, that would be most helpful for the residents of the building to know who needs to contact UPS to make arrangements, rather than dumb UPS drivers burning carbon fuel driving around for days without communicating with their customers. I then asked to talk with a manager and I was put on hold for ever, clearly UPS wants to avoid customer service. UPS is a unionized American company that is in the shipping business, but their drivers don't know this. Sad mess.

UPS in Indianapolis, Indiana - They either don't deliver or steal it.

Have had an ongoing issue with UPS of late, have always ordered and never cared about who delivered but since November last year (2012) UPS has either not delivered my packages, stolen them, lied about when they delivered or simply ignored them. He would deliver "after 5PM" when I am at work and when the rental office is closed but the security camera reports that it was 4:35 PM when he arrived; plenty of time to take it to the office. Just lazy. Or he would mark that a signature is required when I know for sure that it is not after talking to the company I purchased from. Also after setting the package at my door, not knocking or leaving a note, he would come back in a few seconds and take the package, reporting that it was delivered. On security camera taking the package. UPS when asked to comment would say nothing and simply state that it might have been left at the back door, there is no back door.

UPS in Botany, New South Wales - Poor Service not a World Class Shipper

Parts were shipped out Indianapolis on January 18th using expedited service to Yandina, Queensland. 5 lb box arrived in Botany facility on January 22nd and tracking showed cleared customs that day. Tracking also showed delivery to not occur until January 29th so a call was placed to the facility to ask if delivery date could be changed to an earlier date or if parcel could be picked up at facility. We were told no on both accounts. On January 25th the tracking page shows delivery date has been changed to February 4th.Yandina is not in the bush. It is a suburb just North of Brisbane. This is an unacceptable policy on behalf of what is supposed to be a world class freight company. We have spent 10's of thousands of dollars utilizing UPS for our preferred shipping company and just spent the last $200+ dollars for a delivery that could have been rowed over to Australia faster than the big brown cluster could do.

UPS in Hickory, North Carolina - Rain Halts Delivery

When I checked tracking sits at 8 a.m. pig was on truck for delivery today (1/25/13)). At 3p.m., received notification that due to emergency conditions, pig would not be delivered today. Post Office delivered, Fedex delivered, even had a pizza delivered. A light wintertime mix was falling, but roads in the area were well treated. UPS is a disgrace that the lazy drivers they have use light wintry mix as an excuse not to work. My Dominoes Pizza delivery driver has a better work ethic than UPS drivers. Will switch my shipping method to Fedex or USPS (or maybe my pizza Guy) before i'll use UPS again. No wonder 77% of consumers hate the UPS Brownshirts.
