Ups sucks!!!!

ups and their services suck on every level. you end up chasing your package around the united states of america and if you call the customer service reps they dont have direct #'s so you can find out where you package is...its horrible! I will NEVER, and I mean NEVER use ups again in my life. I am beyond pissed. if i pay for something and then pay extra for it so be shipped quicker/faster then God bless america and expect to receive what i paid for. get it together ups, GET IT TOGETHER! If you ever use ups,keep the receipt urrrrggghhhhhh

UPS in Calgary, Alberta - Mr Berg

Charged $28 US dollars for shipping and handling for a $23 US dollar part and then charged $20 import charge to get the part at pick up location. This is robbery and should be fined. Other companies like Fed-Ex and Purolator which I use as our business transporters do not charge this import charge on low value made in Canada parts. I will make sure in the future that all company's that I deal with (and that is many US and Canadian company's shipping more than $400 million of parts) do not use UPS for any transporting needs to eliminate this illegal activity Phil

You can be charged taxes by your own government upon importing an item no matter who the carrier is. It's your *** Canadian customs charging you, not UPS. Canadian customs are horribly greedy.

However, UPS charges a huge charge that is way more than the customs fee. If you are using ebay.

Try and avoid any seller that uses UPS.

It is not illegal what UPS is doing. They can charge whatever they want.

UPS in Buffalo, New York - Charged for a typo

Our company shipped a package to another company. This company agreed to pay the shipping and provided us their Account number. Either we were given the wrong account number (1 digit off) or our staff person wrote it down wrong. Apparently there is an automatic $12 charge for filling out the number incorrectly! ADVICE: BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN FILLING OUT THOSE LABELS - IF THERE IS ANY MISTAKE IT WILL COST YOU! Customer service at UPS indicated they were able to verify the correct account information for the company we were shipping to and they did bill the company for the shipping. However, we were charged $12 for UPS inconvenience in having to determine the correct account number - even though the phone number for the company to whom we were shipping was written in on the label!

so ups should spend time trying to track down and collect on shipping errors you made? and for free?

where is your responsibility? that sounds efficient.

my guess is you'll pay attention next time, so the $12 was effective. lesson learned.

That was a box not designed to hold that much weight

The box more than likely had empty space in it. The person that send it back repackaged poorly.

Maybe the package dropped. However your packaging should stand up to that kind of abuse. It clearly did not.

It is said that it broke but it is amazing how few people actually know how to package a box correctly.

oh and I did forget to mention I checked the recent weather conditions .... I am confused on what they are considering adverse, because what I have been seeing from the reports there are no adverse conditions and sure in the heck not any that require tham to keep the package there for 6 days now

according to the UPS tracking program my package that I have to have by Saturday night was scgeduled to be delivered this afternoon, however I now see that the package is still sitting in Indianapolis due to adverse weather conditions, very odd since it arrived there on Saturday morning and was scanned as departing Monday morning, now on the expected delivery date the update shows it still sitting there... WTF really 4 freaking days of adverse conditions? Thanks UPS you lost me a few sales and probably quite a few customers as this was for an organization thay must have it by Monday morning.

UPS in Chicago, Illinois - Want to speak with an american

I called UPS to set up a package pick up and all I could get was a creature in the in a foreign country. I asked to speak to a red blooded American in the good old USA and the flipping creature would not connect me to an American. If the companies in the U S would stop sending our jobs to foreign countries there would be plenty of jobs for our people. When I call a U S company I want to speak to a U S citizen. If I am connected to a flipping foreigner they are going to get a good old cussing from *** citizen guaranteed.

UPS in Boston, Massachusetts - Terrible customer service

I ordered a package from macys earlier this week. I ordered the shirt I need to wear for Easter. I was under the impression that I was receiving this before Easter. I recently got an email stating I am receiving my package on Monday, clearly after Easter. I proceeded to chat with a UPS representative.he told me there was nothing he could do and refused to help me. I asked if I could pay an additional fee to receive the package before Easter. He told me that they do not do that. Obviously I am frustrated and annoyed; the company is unacceptable and so annoying...way to have great customer service. I am never using UPS ever again; rude and inconsiderate. My live representative's name was Jose D and his pin is NPT5JXD.

Usually this is the fault of the shipper in this case Macy's I buy stuff exclusively online (except for food of course) mainly Amazon but sometimes things from eBay that use UPS. I have had more issues with the USPS than UPS, unless of course the seller ships it a day or so after I get the tracking number, then the weekend screws it up. I hope you get it sooner though, Good luck!

UPS in Omaha, Nebraska - Drivers are apparently delinquents in training

I have waited all afternoon for a next-day package delivery scheduled between 1230 and 3 pm. At 1:45 someone buzzed the apartment door so I released the latch. No one opened the door or came up to knock, so I looked out the window and saw no one outside. Lo and behold, a few minutes later I received an "attempted delivery" notice--the driver had apparently already slapped the ticket on the door before buzzing and running like ***, because I saw no sign of anyone anywhere near the building. Called to complain, and was told "Of course he knocked, and he's already on the other side of town and won't come back, you'll have to wait until tomorrow." Not only do I not appreciate being kept waiting, but I don't care for being called a liar, either. Complaints can't be filed and I'm sure the driver will not only not be reprimanded, but will continue this kind of juvenile delinquent "ring and run" behavior. Completely unacceptable.

UPS in Temple Hills, Maryland - They must dont deliver in my hood

2nd time this happend tracking its here but they never came but it said they did maybe the dont do apt in my hood smh!!!!!!!!somebody sould check the driver cause I worked for fedex so I now how they do some time dont bother with the apt they are not home yeah rite been lookin out the window all day smh.if u leave out in temple hills best to get them to hold the package cus I guess they dont deliver here havent seen a door tag yet but who gives a I called and called f it what can u do
