UPS - Desktop damaged, zero refund

I shipped my desktop PC from Italy - Office MBE of LEGNANO- using UPS because I thought it was safer, since my desktop PC is quite costly (I had an intel i7 2600, graphic card GTX 560 ti). Well, the package arrived, the graphic card (one of the most expensive parts of my PC) does not work anymore. I wrote a complaint to UPS the next day, they said they would send the notification to the sender. UPS sent a courier to pick up the empty package to check it,they said. After 2 weeks with no communications, I write them back and they reply "they sent a notification", nothing more. Now, 2 months later, no contact, no news, only my broken PC for which I paid 150€ of expedition. The Pack was done by THE SHOP, and on the box there were clear traces of it being thrown. WHERE IS UPS? THAT IS *** NO MORE GUYS, NO MORE!

UPS in Calgary, Alberta - Highway Robbery

I received my package from a seller in the USA last week. Total package cost was $180. A week later I receive in the mail a bill for $50 claiming that I owe them for the following: Entry Prep Fee: $29.00 Bond Fee: $6.00 DUTY $0.00 Customes GST $9.75 Brokerage Tax $1.75 Total was $46.50 So let me get this straight, I paid NOTHING for IMPORTING DUTY fee and then $46.50 to line their pockets????? What a joke. So I called into the UPS CSL and asked about all the charges and all they could say was that this was their fee structure and it was what is was. I asked for an explanation on what their process was and for a copy of the process, and again they said it was for the processing of paperwork. I have no idea what they have to do that involves $46.50 worth of time, since no duty was paid, and it seems excessive. My advice, DONT SHIP WITH UPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go FED EX or Canada Post. I will never us UPS again and will advise everyone the same

are you dense? goods and service tax (gst) and brokerage tax sound like highway robbery so you blame the carrier?

did you miss the word TAX? tax. tax, as in fees paid to the government.

you probably really think your health care is free too. genius.

UPS in Nuneaton, England - Worst customer service

I opened an account with UPS and they asked me to send to documents to confirm the address of the account, which I did, they never called me with a follow up call to say they had not received it, but blocked my account, no notification what-so-ever. That's not the end of it, A large Audio Manufacturer arranged for some goods to be sent to me and a collection at the same time. when the driver delivered the Item, I said I have a return for you also, The driver then said, I had a message a few days ago, not to take any collections from this address. This was the first I new about the problem with UPS over my account opening, but the fact is, not only did I have to hear it from a driver, as I had not calls from the accounts department of UPS, but the item to be collected was on another companies account. When I called, I found them to be un helpful, was advised it does to matter whose account it is, it's because it is connected to my company name on the documentation. This is out of order since, I have not used the UPS service, I don,t owe them any money, and I am not the account holder of the requested pick up. As a result, I am writing to UPS to ask them to stick their account up their ***.

UPS in San Diego, California - Refused to Help Me

Due to a slight mispelling in my name (one letter difference), I was unable to go onto My Choice on UPS's website (never used it before) and arrange for me to pickup a package at their nearest service center. This service is supposed to be free and accesible by anyone. When I called the representative, they told me there was NOTHING they could do to help me. They couldn't arrange will-call over the phone, and couldn't help me with the technical problems online. I talked to four representatives and one superviser, all with the same answer of basically "tough luck." The package ended up being sent back to the shipper (no refund) and I was out over 100 dollars.

UPS in Jackson, Mississippi - Mishandled Delivery

For Easter I ordered special Italian pastries from Little Italy in NY (I was born and raised in an Italian family in NYC). I didn't get the promised package in time for Easter, but when I looked at tracking, it said it had been delivered on Holy Thursday. I e-mailed all my neighbors, and the day after Easter, the mystery was solved: the UPS man delivered my package to my next door neighbor. She pulled the package in and went away for the holiday. On Monday, she put the package on my doorstep: UPS says that they will chastise the driver, but will not refund the $70 shipping fee, even though one of the items was sent by 2 day air because it needed to be refrigerated promptly. And of course, by Monday, that item ($35 + $70 Shipping Fees) was moldy and inedible, besides being too late for my family holiday. If one of their agents mis-delivers, they should be held accountable and my fees returned.

UPS - Shipping Delivery and Customer Complaint

Package was not delivered when it was supposed to have been. The driver attempted to deliver it early and when no one was home, the package was then scheduled for another day making it late. Paid for next day delivery not 2-day delivery. Called Customer Service and, here is the kicker, was told that they had no process for me to file a complaint because nothing wrong had been done. An unhappy customer can not file a complaint with UPS. The customer service representative can only take information if they determine an error has occurred. An unhappy customer is not a problem that needs to be addressed. The only recourse is to mail a letter to the corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The customer can not even send an email. They have no process for addressing complaints.

when asked how to file a complaint you were given an address to send your complaint, and you still complain. sounds to me like they gave you the process. how dense are you?

Ups refused insurance claim

We shipped a package with UPS, double boxed with foam no less. We purchased their "insurance", then UPS damaged the package. They refused to reimburse quoting undocumented reasons that the cardboard was not the right type. Worst part about this is they dished us off to Crawford and company to handle the case. Who is Crawford??? Crawford stated it isn't really insurance but is some kind of declared value program. WHA?? Search for ups insurance on the web and you land on ups declared value page, but wait, look at source of page and you see "insurance" tags. They do this so search picks them up for people looking for ups insurance by google/bing. Last time we ever use their "Insurance".

Same here ups picked up package and never scanned it. Now I'm out $120.oo.

UPS does not provide pick reciepts!!!!!!!! beware.

If you have to use them make sure you watch them scan it!!!!!

ups and their services suck on every level. you end up chasing your package around the united states of america and if you call the customer service reps they dont have direct #'s so you can find out where you package is...its horrible! I will NEVER, and I mean NEVER use ups again in my life. I am beyond pissed. if i pay for something and then pay extra for it so be shipped quicker/faster then God bless america and expect to receive what i paid for. get it together ups, GET IT TOGETHER! If you ever use ups,keep the receipt urrrrggghhhhhh

UPS in Calgary, Alberta - Mr Berg

Charged $28 US dollars for shipping and handling for a $23 US dollar part and then charged $20 import charge to get the part at pick up location. This is robbery and should be fined. Other companies like Fed-Ex and Purolator which I use as our business transporters do not charge this import charge on low value made in Canada parts. I will make sure in the future that all company's that I deal with (and that is many US and Canadian company's shipping more than $400 million of parts) do not use UPS for any transporting needs to eliminate this illegal activity Phil

You can be charged taxes by your own government upon importing an item no matter who the carrier is. It's your *** Canadian customs charging you, not UPS. Canadian customs are horribly greedy.

However, UPS charges a huge charge that is way more than the customs fee. If you are using ebay.

Try and avoid any seller that uses UPS.

It is not illegal what UPS is doing. They can charge whatever they want.
