UPS is terrible

This Company only delivers when people are at work! If you live in an apartment, you are screwed. They will not leave the package with the office. After waiting for weeks, I found delivery notifications in the dirt around my building. The driver stuck them on half ***-ed and ran to his truck for the next delivery. He did not care to ensure they were stuck to the door. I could have made arrangements, had I know next delivery dates. All they do is deliver. How do they screw that up? They have denied responsibility and said anything could have happen to the slips.

UPS in Crescent, Iowa - Delievered to wrong place

So, three days ago I received an email saying my package was delivered and they left it at the front door. When I got home it wasn't there. I asked my mom about it and she was home when at the time it was delivered and UPS was no where around. I called them and they said there was nothing they could do about it and the lady was being a complete *** to me on the phone. Poorest customer service I have ever had. Looks like I just payed $120 for tickets to a concert tomorrow that I never got.

UPS in Cokeville, Wyoming - Package not delivered

WOW, what a great company. My delivery status on ups.com said my package was out for delivery today, and when the ups truck showed up in my town, the driver said he didn't have anything for my address. Either some dumb nut forgot to put my package on the truck, or someone decided to steal it. I've been waiting all day for the package to get here, but it never did. I even called customer service, and they acted like it wasn't a big deal. All they told me was that I would receive a call from dispatch, but I haven't heard from anyone.

A UPS truck hit my car!

While Backing out of my driveway to rearrange my car I looked to the right for any oncoming traffic... Now I need to mention I live in a manufacture home community so its all private including the streets. We are not talking heavy traffic if any at all! As I look to the right I feel a sudden crunch and shake side to side. I was stunned to find out A UPS truck was driving backwards on the wrong side of the street and hit me with his right protruding bars above his bumper. He smashed my gas tank nozzle and the whole 1/4 side panel above the wheel well and back! That's all that was protruding from the driveway...Had he been on the correct side driving up He would have seen me me but more important I would have had plenty of clearance and seen him in time. Yup they came out and had the nerve to say it was 50% my fault and would only pay 50% of the damage. UM.....driving backwards up a hill on the wrong side of the road?? How is that my fault in any stretch of ones imagination???? What cha think? Do I go to small claims court? I'm ready!

UPS driver took it upon himself to pick a return. Problem was he pick up the wrong boxes.

I had 4 boxes of cable to be return to a vender. Also, another return was issued for a different vender. The UPS driver took it upon him to pick up returns. The problem was he pick up the wrong boxes and sent the wrong packages to the wrong vender. I called the UPS center in Dalton, GA and explained what had happened. I was told the driver asked if he had the right boxes, which he did not because I was not there the day he picked up the wrong packages. I never got refunded for the boxes of cable that went to the wrong vender. The vender who received the boxes if cable would not admit they received the cable even though a signature was received. The UPS center ignore me for weeks. Finally, I just took the loss of $800.0"

UPS in Austin, Texas - Owner of WAGGIN TAILS MOBILE PET GROOMING

Packages contsantly being damaged. lost product, time, and revenue, constantly....UPS just cannot compete with the USPS or FEDX in Texas for on time, non damaged delivery. i am a busy groomer and count on my supplies arriving on time and undamaged...they seldom do!!! i HATE UPS!!! i have taken the time to monitor tracking records, and either UPS lies about where and when the parcels are being damaged or Texas has a serious problem! either way, UPS can never make up to me the lost time, revenue and future business lost because of their inability to fulfill their function as a shipper!!

UPS in San Antonio, Texas - Drivers are Extremely lazy!

My last few deliveries have been late with appointments made by ups for delivery. They called and set up the appointment, and then did not deliver on time. while this may seem like a small gripe, I asked what would happen if no one was there to receive the package, and was told I would be billed $120. I made the appointment, and the delivery time was between Noon and 6 PM on a Friday to a business. I paid an employee 2 Hrs overtime and a $50 cash incentive to stay late. the package was not delivered until 7:30 PM, and the driver marked it delivered @ 6:15 PM. The hour and a half cost me more to have the employee stay later. The driver was to call me and I made it clear to everyone I talked to that the driver was to call me if there were any issues, he was not given that information by any of the 3 people I talked to. Then today as I was waiting for a delivery before a trip and checking the status of the package I saw that a delivery attempt had been made. I was at the office, and no attempt was made, I went to the gate and a notice had been left, I do not know why the driver didn't open the gate like they have don on every delivery to this address for the last 7 years but it was what it was. I called hoping to get the package delivered as it was desperately needed for the trip. The customer service rep basically said I would have to wait until the next day. I laughed and canceled the shipment and called the sender and told them it was coming back and why, and to thank ups for the lost sale. I have received only canned responses that clearly indicate my complaints were not read only replied to. I wish UPS a short and expensive demise!!!

ups doesn't make appointments (unless you've subscribed to and paid for my choice) nor do they commit to time frames unless you've paid for an air service.

ups also does not charge if you're not available ($120? pffftt).

all in all you are confused, misguided and/or not presented all of the actual facts.
