UPS in Perth, Western Australia - Mobile phone from Canada GSM to Australia missing in Singapore

On the 18th of January 2013 I purchased a Samsung T699 mobile phone from Canada GSM (a model not available in Australia)who sent it with UPS. The package was tracked to Changi, Singapore where it disappeared. I had waited two weeks before I checked the tracking website and then contacted UPS by email, who politely informed me that they only dealt with the sender/shipper and not with the customer. I then sent two emails to Canada GSM sales dept. without reply. I contacted UPS again same result. Then I finally contacted Canada GSM using a different email address reply sounded hopeful. Since then I have had no meaningful information from either Canada GSM or UPS in spite of at least one email a week requesting progress on my claim. It is now the 11th of May and I still have no phone or refund.

ups only deals with the shipper because the shipper is their customer...not you, ie they pay the ups bill.

your complaint is with the shipper not resolving your issue and/or refunding you. they should reship and resolve the loss claim on their time.

why are these issues so confusing for you all?

Package did arrive on 10th... box was all crumbled up with tape all over it...

definitely looked like someone tried to re-tape the box..

One of the content was damaged...so i had to get it replaced... I contacted UPS but since package was delivered, they didn't even...

it sounds like someone made a change of delivery while the package was in transit, sounds like a scam to me...

UPS in Newark, New Jersey - Bought Slip online, They didn't want to print or ship my package!!

As it turns out I was a bout to print a slip and my printer broke. So I went to the UPS store Union, NJ. With the slip on a memory stick, the tracking number, reference number and the very rude lady didn't want to print my slip. She said and I quote "I can"t...". I said what do you mean you can't, You wont print my slip so i can do business with you? She says " I can't...". I asked if I physically bought a shipment here then would you print my slip? She said yes. So I said my slip is paid for, she said "so go print it out".. I just walked out... Worst F**kin company in the world.

So how much were you going to pay the UPS Store? Nothing.

Most businesses won't accommodate your request to NOT pay them and use their facilities lol. You understand how the economy works?

if your package is prepaid, it should arrive at a ups store ready to go...ie taped, label applied etc. ups stores only act as a drop location for prepaid packages, they don't make money on that. while they are required to accept them, they are not required to service them for free.

what she should have done is made you a paying customer by charging you a fee to print your label...something like $2-5 would be reasonable. then possibly educating you on how the system works so you would be less demanding and more understanding.

it appears you are both m0rons.

Guaranteed Delivery Wasn't! UPS won't make good!!!

My mother sent a package at Christmas time 2012 from Greensboro, NC to Menlo Park, California with "GUARANTEED DELIVERY" before Christmas. It didn't get there before Christmas, but 3 days late. A guarantee is guarantee. She's been back to the store twice and with me once to speak the the manager and get her money back. The UPS store acknowledges it, says they have filed it with UPS, and is waiting until they get paid to refund her the money. The store is located at Pisgah Church Road. IT IS NOW MAY and she hasn't gotten ANYTHING. Not a dime, not an explanation, not an apology. I find that all unacceptable! The UPS guarantee is not a guarantee at all, but a deceptive marketing ploy.

It never takes that long to process a refund. Dishonest store owner and legit gripe most likely.

UPS in Flushing, New York - Sure, make me travel to 105th st. Brooklyn. Time to put my money in my sock!

Requested they leave my package on my doorstep on "my ups." They didn't.. requested they bring it to a ups store for $5... They didn't... They failed to do this 3 days in a row and then I obliged and went to *** 105th st brooklyn (1 hour from both my office and my apt.) on the corner of Rapey-Rapey and No-Escapey. Google says they're open until 8, but when I showed up at 7 they told me that for some reason they close from 6:30 until 7:30. So I waited until they re-opened at 7:30 only to hear that my particular kind of package cannot be picked up past 6 o'clock. Why the *** is my "parcel" different from anyone elses?? *** you, United Parcel Segregation! Anyways, after waiting 2 minutes on a dial tone with the particular facility a woman who picked up was kind enough to break the rules of the already broken rules and let me pick up my package, but warned me not to show up unannounced... Now, having learned of the shortcomings of UPS, I tried to avoid this with a package I just recently purchased online without a choice of courier service I am dealing with the exact same problem and their customer service verbatim "can't do anything about it." How does this company deliver ANYTHING, to ANYONE, with a job. AT LEAST DELIVER ON THE WEEKENDS, if your company is too incompetent to deliver at flexible hour on weekends!! For the love of god, give the receiver of the package more options. If they can prove they are the intended recipient, then there is absolutely no reason not to. And for some unholy reason should you decide not to change your special needs business plan, a least allow for a one-on-one complaint department. Because you've obvilously been filtering your online complaint emails into your spam folder. *** you UPS. I will do my best never to you use you again, and hope that your entirely inadequate service will make you fail miserably.

UPS in Rochester, New York - False Delivery date!

Received TWO emails about a delivery date of 5/9/13 at the latest. Called to change it to be left at the facility so I could pick it up cause it was an expensive package to leave by my door. One person told me to pick it up on the 9th. The next person told me I had to wait till the 12-13th and then the manager told me that it wouldn't be there till the 10-11. He then proceeded to tell me that it was Amazons fault and that there was nothing he could do to help me. That I did not understand and needed to listen to him! I HATE UPS!!!!!

Also have issues with UPS. After explicitly stating a time of delivery suitable for me, the drivers still come in the middle of the day. Clearly no communication between their CODs and their drivers.

That's not even my biggest issue, they kept the parcel in storage for about a week as the shipping address was not complete. They called me to "fill in the blanks" and afterward they charge me the storage costs.

I refuse to pay that, as I have made sure the shipper has the correct details and it is not my responsibility to make sure the details are kept in accordance throughout the shipment. Dealing with children, I've been patient since Mid April, its June 07 today - still haven't received parcel, not to mention any kind of descent service from either WarnerArtists or UPS. I am losing my temper now.

UPS in San Francisco, California - Package not delivered within the approximte time given

I anticipated a package delivery some where around 8 May. I received an alert notice from UPS stating that the package would be delivered May 8 between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm (4 hours). Two thirty came and went and no package. At 3:15 I called UPS cusomer service and told them the package had not beenm delivered within the window of time "THRY" gave me. I was told that: rest assured, the package would be delivered by 10PM. Icouldn't believe my ears. I asked what happened to the window of time they had given me. They could not explain why the package had not been delivered during that period of time and said that was an approximation. I told them I had been home all day waiting for this package, now you're telling me that I need to stay home up and until 10:00 pm with no explanation as to why the package had not been delivered. They were of absolutely no help and it's incredulous that they can't get a package delivered within a 4 hour window. Something needs to be done here. Even utility companies are now compelled to provide you with a time window for delivery of services. UPS should be compelled to do the same and suiffer consequences when they don't comply

How UPS discourages damage claims

I received a computer I send out for repair to NYC (I live 30 miles away). The computer was damaged on arrival. So how does the repair service and UPS handle this? They want me to wait at home for UPS to come by and examine the package for the claim. They said they'll be here between 9AM and 7PM!!! Now remember, I AM NOT FILING A CLAIM, the repair company is. I won't get a penny of the $500 insurance. When and if UPS shows up, I'll give them my computer, they'll examine it for 7-10 days, then what? I'm not sure. I'll get it back and have to ship it to be fixed again under warrantee. Which I should have done in the first place but I hated to see UPS get away with their *** handling of my computer. This process completely discourages people from filing claims and I believe it's no accident. When I called them to ask if I could bring the computer to the UPS plant ("no you can't!") I asked to register a complaint. Well you're not allowed to register complaints over their 800 number. I guess when you don't want to fix your problems ignorance is bliss. USE THE POSTAL SERVICE, CHEAPER, FASTER AND KINDER.

Ups L.A. Lies about delivery attempts

Ups claims they made an attempt to deliver package at 8pm. NO THEY DID NOT, because the recipient was home waiting for the package during this time and the whole day and no one came to the door, no one left a note, no door bell rang, it's a bunch of bull. Called customer service and they were of NO help whatsoever. They asked if a note was on the door, I said no, and their response was "oh, sorry but it says they made an attempt." I again said no they didn't, I need you to put a note in the system saying they better make the delivery the next day, because the person will once again be there waiting so I will know if they skip the delivery again, and then there will be some serious issues. We shall see if they get lazy and lie about the delivery attempt again tomorrow.

UPS is a *** outfit. All corporate cares about is numbers and profits, they force the otherwise good drivers to lie about attempting delivery, because they rate their routes based on how many packages delivered per hour, attempts per hour, etc., it's too bad they are such lying sacks of ***, the disconnect between customers (the reason they have profits in the first place) and providing good service is pathetic.

It's all in the way they force their employees to toe the line or get a pink slip.

Their way of doing business by squeezing employees and customers is among the worst in corporate America. Why else do you think they're trying to kill unions and the Postal Service, SO THEY CAN RAISE THEIR RATES AND INCREASE PROFITS!

They only deliver until 7 p.m. where I live, so I'm having a hard time believing someone attempted an 8 p.m.

delivery. They're one of the worst companies around. They never knock or ring the doorbell when they make deliveries, and just leave your package in the elements. If the box is marked "fragile" with arrows, it seems like they intentionally place the arrows in the opposite direction.

They need to SLOW DOWN and be more careful with people's packages.

They continually back over my yard lights and destroy them. I can't stand UPS!!
