UPS in Royersford, Pennsylvania - Brown can't do anything for me

UPS is a vendor we use to deliver payroll to our clients. My experience with them has been TERRIBLE. Most recently, I sent two payroll packages to one of my clients (both to the same exact address) as a priority delivery. The next day, one was delivered (but over 30 mins past the 1030am deadline) while the other package was marked "unable to deliver as addressed". I called UPS to find out why only one of the two packages were delivered. I was told that someone misloaded the package onto the wrong vehicle. (then why wouldn't the delivery exception say that?). They had no answer. They promised me it would be delivered the following day adn that someone would call me back to review my issue. That day came and the second package was never delivered, nor did I ever receive a call back. I called UPS Service again - was told that the person I spoke with the prior day put a hold on the delivery, when I asked what that meant, she didn't have an answer. I then asked if I could send a private courrier to pickup the package at the UPS location and deliver it to my client. I was told that wasn't possible due to security reasons. I ended up escalating to Corporate who in the end was able to have someone deliver that package that day (two days late). All this time, the UPS Service folks were very polite and appologetic but none of them followed through on what they said would do. BUT my clients' employees went two days without getting paid. I wish UPS tried to go two days wihtout paying their employees to see what would happen. I pay good $$ for this service, they are unreliable and do not follow through or follow up. For my small business needs, they are too big.

UPS in Denver, Colorado - Incorrect package

Since last Friday when UPS delivered a package to my address which did NOT belong here, I have been trying to get UPS to pick it up, unsuccessfully. I have had people call me to say it will be picked up, but it wasn't. I have much time and sent around ten emails to UPS with no concrete results. I find it impossible to believe that the company can possibly give a *** about their customers. All I wanted them to do was to pick up a package. In fact, they made a delivery here today but there was no effort to pick up the mis-delivered package. The city I live in, however, is a lot more dependable when they pick up the trash, which is where the package will end up tomorrow AM. I will NEVER use UPS or shop at a company that uses UPS.

You could look up the person that the package is for try Google or the sender that sent it let them know. I'm sure you will make them happy.

You're wasting your time with UPS waste it to get it to the owner. Maybe they will reward you.

UPS in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Susan jankowski

I had my first time experience shipping packages at a UPS store,I was mailing chocolate candy her in Wis. One was in Milwaukee only a few miles from the UPS store 3lb. charged me $12.45, the other went to Wisconsin Rapids 7lb. charged $11.18 . This to me is wrong the prices should be reversed for one. I was never told that I was paying extra to have them delivered the next day . If I had been given a choice I would have chosen a 2 or 3 day delivery . I didn't charge my customer enough for shipping so I lost money .

UPS in Rushville, Indiana - Destroyed package

Came home today and found our package destroyed by our dog. Yes it was our dog but the UPS man should have a brain. Da if I put this package is on the porch where the dog can get it will be destroyed. If the UPS man has no brain activity then they have no business having a UPS job let alone driving a UPS truck. These guys get payed way too much for the *** job they do with the packages we own. Yes we own them and not UPS! This is not the first time this has happenedSteve Mulligan

Next time, (since the UPS driver is not an expert on what breeds of dogs will destroy things or since he didnt magically know your dog would destroy it) he wont deliver it, youll have to go to the center to pick it up, and then you can come right back here and complain about how the driver wouldnt leave your package and wouldnt reimburse your gas money going to get it. ***.

Not all dogs will destroy things. How was the UPS driver supposed to know that you haven't trained your dog to behave?

Actually this was just as much your fault as the UPS driver, because if your dog isn't well trained he should be kept where he cant get at things or people.

Are you aware that the dog could just as easily have bit the driver and then you would have a major problem?

UPS in Garland, Texas - Poor customer service and rude employees

I have always been a big supporter of UPS. I have actually never had an issue in all the years I have used your company. Recently I ordered a large canvas that had to be shipped freight. It arrived busted up. This has put me in a panic due to a deadline. This deadline is one of the most amazing opportunities I have had so far in my career as a artist. A pickup was scheduled for Friday July 5th between 8 and 6. I missed work and waited all day for you guys to show. At 6:15 I called and was told the guy was still delivering and had one more stop. He MIGHT get here by 7ish. I couldn't wait. I told them that and they promised to pick it up Monday the 8th by 10:30. I asked the girl three times if she could get here by 10:30 because I was going to miss work again. Three times I was assured of a pickup by 10:30. Monday is here. I have called and guess what. I am not even on the schedule! I spoke to a supervisor at the 1800 number who was going to contact dispatch and get it on the schedule. I then received a call from a 972-494-3394 and was told it would be later this afternoon. Of course that didn't go over well and I asked to speak to a supervisor. A Bob Greer answered and I told him he needed to change his hold recording because it stated all about how UPS had enhanced freight scheduling. He was very unprofessional and replied "is that all you need, are you done." How very unprofessional to speak to a customer like that. Was I using profanity--no. I was an upset customer and a more appropriate response would have been " what can I help you with." As of this email I am still waiting to hear when you guys will show up. I have now two missed days of work under my belt. Would you like to pay my house payment because its not getting paid waiting on you guys?? The box is too large for me to physically move out of my garage so I cannot leave it somewhere. Dealing with your company has become like dealing with the Govt--no one cares and the lack of customer service is ridiculous. My time is important. Your company should respect that.

UPS POOR SERVICE

I live in an apartment complex. UPS REFUSES TO DELIVER TO MY DOOR ON THE THIRD FLOOR BUT WILL ONLY PUT A NOTICE ON MY DOOR THAT THE PACKAGE IS HELD WCM. There are several UPS sites in the surrounding area and even with the tag number I can't find where it is being held. Most times the package is returned. I HAVE SENT REPEATED NOTICES TO UPS AND HAVE POSTED A NOTICE ON MY DOOR TO DELIVER PACKAGES TO THE APT OFFICE IF I AM NOT HOME. UPS CAN'T READ. THEY HAVE TO PASS THE OFFICE TWICE TO COME TO MY DOOR. Use the United States Postal Service for professional service. Michael Hankinson

UPS in Marrakech, Marrakech-Tensift-Al Haouz - An Amazon book sent to Morocco

A friend in London ordered a book for me on Amazon. I live in Morocco. The level of incompetence of the UPS office in Casablanca and in Marrakech is unheard of. They have no clue about what they are doing, they are rude and arrogant in particular Miss Karima from the import service in Casablanca. After 3 weeks of their incompetence to deliver a book, I was invoiced an enormous amount for a coffee table book 1750 Dhs the equivalent of about 160 Eur. I had no choice then give a check, I asked many questions about the details of the invoice. My answer was it is the customs we can 't do anything about it. And of course it dragged on for 3 weeks since I had to pay a daily fee for the warehouse. Then I was told it had arrived at the Marrakech office, but that I had to pay 80 Eur since they had asked for a discount.. ( ???) once again no one had any explanations even though my numerous questions. I was given back the check and got my book.. If your time is precious, don't ever waste your time with UPS Morocco. And if you have time to loose, you still expect professionalism, competence and transparency. DHL is more expensive but worth every penny when dealing with pitiful UPS.

UPS in New York, New York - Complaint on lazy flirtious driver

I live on the second floor and ordered various boxes. The UPS delivery worker had my young daughter under the age of 18 years old go downstairs and carry the packages up. My daughter was ill and she is very petite. The worker on the other hand was busy flirting with a female tenant. This is ridiculous aren't they suppose to bring the package upstairs. On the application for UPS it states must be able to lift. I am seriously pissed off. My daughter had to go get the package having a fever of 101 and he was only interested in flirting and no doing his job

UPS in Jefferson City, Missouri - Pkg damage

Sent a package back to the mfg in the same box it came in from the manufacture. UPS damaged the box and product inside. Made a claim with UPS. After a follow up e mail on the status of my claim, they denied indicating they require "peanuts" to be used in packing. Makes no sense considering it was returned shipped the way it came from the mfg. not only did it cost me $27.00 to ship but the product cost was $79.00. I am disappointed with this company. I will ship with FedEx going forward. Hopefully they don't hold the consumer to a different standard.

UPS requires 2 inches of adequate padding around the item as well as a proper box, which includes a minimum bursting test of 200 lbs, which most companies don't ship with (Amazon, etc.) Packages go down conveyor belts, where big packages can land on small packages, which is why the regulations are in place so that the item inside isn't damaged. If an item is damaged when being shipped to the consumer, the company is still liable for that damage just like you are if its shipped like that. The consumer is held to the same standards as the company.
