UPS in Washington, District Of Columbia - My packages were stolen - TWICE!

Twice this week, the UPS delivery person has left our packages outside, on the street, in a neighborhood that is so obviously not safe. They were of course stolen. Once on Monday, and again on Wednesday. (I know they were left there because on Monday, the boxes were actually torn into, and contents removed, and the delivery status says "left at front door" for both days.) I called UPS on Monday, and they said there wasn't a whole lot they could do, that they might be able to try to contact the driver to request that he not do that again, but I guess that didn't happen. I called again today, and again they said there was nothing they could do - not to mention that speaking to an actual human over there takes a miracle - The shipper would have to initiate an investigation, they could not do so themselves, and they could not be financially liable. It's insane to me that the shipper is somehow responsible for the lousy service that UPS is providing. I don't understand how these people are still in business with such unbelievably terrible customer service, and clearly careless drivers. I will go far and wide out of my way to avoid using them again.

UPS "lost" two of my packages containing iPad minis. Coincidence?

Apple even told me that they have had customers tell them that they have received empty boxes! I will not be using them anymore and I advise everyone I know to use FedEx or USPS.

UPS damaged my packages

I shipped two packages from Alabama to Cali. Both packages.were damaged and three items are.broken beyond repair. I even insured the packages. I filed a claim and was told today that the claim was denied. Reason.. not packaged correctly. . In which is bull ***. The guy from UPS even said.. they drop the packages all the time. I packaged the packages very well and as precious as the items were... I would not package them correctly. Also, exactly where are the details at on the correct way to package a package. Just another.way from.them.to get out of the claim.

Give us an idea of what the items are you shipped.

Do a search for UPS terms and conditions, should be something in there about packing contents properly.

UPS Driver grabbed my ***

I was outside of Subway and putting quarters into a newspaper machine when a UPS driver walked behind me, grabbed my ***, and said, "hey there baby". I was so shocked are scared that I didn't know what to do. I called my husband and he told me to right down the license plates of the UPS truck and call the police. The police are looking into it and going to contact me soon. Has anyone else ever had these union thugs pull this ***? The driver's are not only lazy, but now they do these types of things. These parasites should be shutdown.

The same man that raped my sister and one of here friends works as a driver for UPS. He was convicted of raping my sister's friend, but he wasn't convicted of raping my sister because my sister was to traumatized to go to trial.

That guy SHOULD BE IN PRISON.

UPS drops at office. Never leaves a note

EVERY single time I have a package come to my apartment. The lazy UPS person just leaves a package at the front office. They NEVER leave a note. In cases where I dont know a package is coming I never receive the package. Total laziness and I sick of the delivery person. I will confront this person next time I see her or him and I am not sure how it will turn out. It is not the office responsibility to call every person who gets a package. This person NEVER leaves a sticker. Sick of UPS. They will pay when I see them.

So, YOU put on a wrong zip code, and expect UPS to stop a train or 18 wheelr in transit to go through EVERYTHING just to correct your incorrect zip code ?

When it gets to the building which corresponds to the zip you put on there, THEN it can be corrected and sorted to the proper destination.

Blaming UPS for YOUR mistake is wrong !

UPS in Russellville, Alabama - Numerous reports, numerous supervisors, still nothing

I've been fighting with UPS about packages not being delivered when they were scheduled since I opened my business 3 years ago. This morning was the 3rd time I've spoken with a supervisor because the driver posted that my store was closed on Monday as a the reason for not delivering my package. They can't seem to fix that note in their system and I'm sick of it. The supervisor today told me my package was never on the truck and it couldn't be retrieved from the trailor. She was no help and I waited on hold for almost an hour to make the report. I've had many other issues, but this was the last straw. I'm paying extra for Fedex delivery from now on.

UPS - 5 Days to travel 30km

I had a package sent from Marine City Michigan to Chatham Ontario. Marine city is about a 20 min drive then a 5 min ferry ride my my current place. UPS Ground was used to send a 35 pound package from Michigan to Ontario On Thursday July 11 2013. Friday July 12 i call UPS to ask about holding the package at the port of entry in Windsor Ontario. UPS tells me this can be done but not untill the package has made it into canada. Right there that is useless. I had to sit and check the tracking about 40 times a day to see when it made it into canada. Package went from Marine City on friday, to Romulus Michigan, about 100km in distance. Took just about 1 full day to make it THAT far. So the package sits in Romulus from 832pm July 12 untill departure scan at 10:50pm July 12. Then nothing is updated until July 14th at 9:47pm when it arrives at Canada Customs in Windsor Ontario. I saw this at 10pm. I call the International UPS number since the Canadian one was closed. Asking to have the package held and i would like to self clear it. No. This cant be done they tell me. Alhou 3 other UPS customer service people told me it could be done when i called on friday. I have about a 2 hour window to have this package held for self clearance before customs gets a hold and clears it and send it out. All this lady can do is say she will send a message to the broker at 8am. So that is zero help. 12:19am July 15 the package has cleared customs, 12:53 arrival scan at windsor and 1:22am import scan to windsor. I get a phone call at 9am monday July 15 and told i cant go pick up the package because it has cleared customs and in transit. Why was it in transit? My tracking still says Import scan. She says nothing they can do. Cant contact a depo or warehouse, cant contact a driver or have the package somehow stopped in transit. Not possible she says. She also says there is no port of entry and the package cant be held at the windsor area. That its just not something they allow. Now the package goes 363km from Windsor to Concord Ontario where it sits for over a day. Then it will be put on a truck and sent all the way back 290km to be sent out for delivery after 6pm. NO GOOD. Iv told every person i talked to its time sensitive package that needs to be in my possession by end of day monday July 15. July 16th is too late and makes the package useless. I ask about intercepting the package in London Ontario. Nope. Cant do that either. I cant even go to the sort plant in Concord to get this. Seems the ONLY option is NOTHING. Out of all the people i spoke with nobody can do a god *** thing. Package cant be marked held at customs until the package makes it into canada, then you have about 30 minuets to get on the phone to UPS, HOPE its between 8-5pm have them send a message to the broker to hold it there and go pick it up. Oh wait. No. Cant do that. Only option is nothing. Suck it up and wait 5 days for a hour long there and back trip yourself. Why does UPS say i can self clear my package in Windsor? Why CANT UPS mark the package BEFORE it makes it to Canada to be held for self clearance? WHY cant the package be intercepted between Windsor and Concord. WHY do the UPS customer service people tell me these things CAN be done when really they cannot? Never using UPS ever again. Total waste of my time, my money and my customers money who are waiting for these items. Now once the package gets here i will be sending it back to the original sender since they will have no use to me. In closing. *** YOU UPS. UPS=Useless Piece of ***

good comment I hate these people , they only do what they have to and nothing more

they are completely useless ! one time I payed for us to Canada tariffs and they continued to call me asking me to pay I told the *** it had been paid for and they could not find it took them 30 mins of arguing and they finally tracked the pament and the sticker was not put on the box so they continued to hold the *** package

I hate this company ! dumb dumb dumb .

UPS in Saint Cloud, Minnesota - Returned to Sender Too Soon

After receiving the 1st sticky notice 7.01.13(it wasn't addressed to me, but I was the only one in the duplex who'd ordered anything recently) that stated a signature was needed for delivery, I called UPS promply to confirm that my package could be picked up at the facility when I was able to do so on the 11th, which was within the time frame allotted. No problem, the rep stated. On 7.8.2013, the shipper sent me an e-mail stating that my shipment was returned as "undeliverable." My shipment wasn't something that could be ordered for the same price again. To say that I was upset would be an understatement. Thirty minutes later, the agent I spoke to could only apologize and say that he'd pass on the information. Another agent left a message in apologetic tones on Monday, but I was unable to return the call due to work obligations. I'm not expecting anything but another series of apologies (which provides me with absolutely no recourse), but I'm certainly going to try for something. Ironically, I received a postcard a few days ago that assured me that my shipment would be available until the 11th.

UPS in Yorba Linda, California - Repackaging Fraud

The UPS store in Yorba Linda charged over 330.00 for shipping an item in a crate. That night, someone at the store took the item out of the crate and into a cardboard box. They then cancelled the original transaction and pocketed the refund. A new transaction was created at a much lower price. How can i tell? the tracking number is not the same as the one on the receipt. The package was damaged in transit due to the *** cardboard box. Worst part of it? UPS will only deal with the UPS store about the claim. The store will just tell you that your claim was denied for poor packaging. Never use UPS stores. Go to the UPS depot or use the FEDEX stores.
