UPS

My package was delivered to my home but taken back by UPS because it was signature required. I called the 800 # to tell tem not to make a 2 me atemp I would pick up package from hub. The 800 # told me I wouldmreceive a call from the hub advising when I could pick up my package. I receive a call from th hub stating they receive a notification from the 800# about me picking up the package.mi was told they would get with the driver and let me known when I could pick up. I received another call stating that the driver would be bace at the hub at 5:30 and I could pick up between that time and 8 pm befor closing. I get there they tell me I can not get my package because it on a line and can't be reached. I asked to speak to supervisor because I had drove an hour to get package. In addition I was taking a flight out early the next morning. I got on the phone with the supervisor she pushed the blam on somebody else. The supervisor then told me she was sorry and would over night the package to my hotel in the state I was flying to. The over night never came when I looked into what happened the manager sent the package ground which was a 5 day delivery. The packager would be delivered after I got back home this cost me a loss in my business . When I call UPS they told me there was nothing they could do. Ups very incompetent and full of ***

Not their fault!!! If your package requires a signature upon delivery then you need to be home.

If you aren't then its not their fault. It's yours.

Trying to schedule a pick up the same day isn't really possible!!!! You obviously have no idea how UPS works, so please don't complain about something that you don't understand.

UPS in Masonville, Colorado - Wrong address delivery

One day my neighbour knocked to my door and said she got my package. She lives on a totally different street. She said it was laying across the street from her house for almost a week. It was raining that week a lot. A week! Really? I didn't track it I'm too busy for that. But a week! And it supposed to be a fast delivery. I'm very pissed and upset. No more ups for me. I wanted to call customer service and complain but it takes to long to go thu. I don't think I'd get any rewards for being a posed one. Or should I call them? I just see a lot of people complaining. So whatever but I was shocked plus what if it was an iPad some stuff that can't be ruined... Oh I'm mad!

UPS in Vancouver, British Columbia - Online tracking

I placed an order online and was giving a UPS tracking number. I punch in my tracking number online and it says its already in Fort McMurray, So I call the UPS company. Online it still tells me my parcel will not be delivered until Aug 7, which is 10 days longer and its already where I live?? this makes no sense! The lady on the phone at UPS was so rude and spoke to me like I was an ***. Telling me that I need to go by whats posted online. Nowhere online did it tell me item in transit or any information about it. Only thing posted was fort mcmurray. I Will never ship UPS again. Canada Post is so much friendlier, and their online services make much more sense and provide an accurate delivery time.

UPS in Athens, Georgia - I have to "pay" to have defective items picked up?

Recently I had a run of bad luck. I had a brand new lap top *** out (dell promptly sent a replacement) and a child seat damaged by shattered glass and water. (britax also sent me a replacement) I was supposed to get the carseat from britax overnight, so it was supposed to be delivered on Monday, July 29. The plan was that I was going to stick the broken seat in the box, stick the return label on it, and send it right back with the UPS guy. Keep in mind that I PAID to have the original items shipped to me. SO I call them, and ask to arrange for a pick up. Oh, but there is a "cost" My other option is to drive to the nearest UPS office (30 miles away) of go out and take 35lbs worth of packages and "walk up and down the road and flag down a UPS driver." REALLY?!?! The only day all summer I had plans was today, of course the day that they delivered my package. A day late. (which they told me that I couldnt return ship at the same time, because 30 seconds to stick a label on a box is "too long." Both reps that I spoke with barely spoke 3 words of English. Said that I had to contact the shipper to get a "free pickup" When I explained that I work nights, and Im sleeping when Britax is open, I was told "just have your kid call the shipper." Again, REALLY?!?! My kid is THREE. Not happy!

Good lord you're ***! UPS isn't a representative for the company you bought your stuff from.

They aren't going to pick up your stuff for free.

Maybe call them for 5 minutes or you can't afford to lose 5 minutes of sleep? You have enough time to make a complaint here.

You are being unreasonable. UPS is not in business with any of the companies that you mentioned.

Why do you think they owe YOU a free pick-up because YOU live 30 miles from their nearest store. I would assume that there is an ADULT watching your 3 yr old while you are sleeping.

Why can't they call to arrange free shipping for you? Put your big girl panties on a grow up.

UPS in Youngstown, Ohio - Customer service

Repair part was shipped from mfg to my address for Sears to install. UPS said my address was no good. I contacted UPS customer service 3 times verbally and sent one email explaining my address was correct. It is a town home and my unit is on the back side. Not facing the street. UPS NEVER DID find my address. I missed THREE REPAIR APPOINTMENTS because of UPS's TOTAL LACK OF COMMUNICATION. Still don't have my part and mfg will now have to ship directly to repair company. Totally inexcusable. There is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT UPS. The POST OFFICE has better service.

UPS in Edmonton, Alberta - Not delivering what they sell.

I have a package with my meds shippied overnight with a delivery of 8:30am in Edmonton, AB, Canada. Here I am at the UPS store, waiting... package is not showing as arrived or delivered. I paid a premium price with a guaranteed delivery by 8:30am. Yet Again I am disapointed. The point is UPS is selling a service they apparantly cannot deliver on or even as i see it have the ability to do so. in most places around the world this is called fraud. How do you get your money back that you paid UPS? How do you get them to take responsibility for their poor service?

Only the shipper can get a refund to their account or (if you're lucky a check) the recipient can't get a refund from UPS.

UPS in Bozeman, Montana - Packages

Pissed off at UPS...............In the past 2 wk 2 different companies have sent packages using UPS, UPS left info notices on different apartment doors than what was on the mailing address, the person was nice enough to give me the notices only it was too late to get packages, when I called the customer service line for UPS, it stated that I would have 5 days from 3rd attempt to collect package from local office,I still had time. I could not find a phone number for the office so I talk to a UPS Store they stated that the office in Bozeman MT does not practice the 5 day pickup rule, once the 3rd attempt has been made they immediately send the packages back. How am I suppose to get a package when I don't know it is even here? I work 11-7 so I am home by 0730 and am a light sleeper so if they attempted to make a delivery (rung doorbell or knock on door) I would have been home to get package. I have to buy different things off the internet because this is a small town and does not have a lot of things in stores, and I want settle. This is to all companies that use UPS I will not be ordering things from you because I can't get my packages, I have had no problem getting things from the good old United States Postal Service, so companies that use them will be getting my money from now on. I filled a complaint with UPS web site I don't expect anything to come of it they will just make excuses, so here I am pissed off and no packages.

UPS in Sherwood Park, Alberta - 3rd attempt and they just left the notice

Upon not being home my self for the first two attempts I arranged to have some one at my place to receive the delivery. I had to work during all three attempts, hence the need for some one there. All three attempts were done after 19:00. When I got home at 20:00 there was the notice on door saying that there was no one there to receive the package. The person had said that there was no buzzer at the time that the ups tracking website said they were here (17:51). Now at 20:36 all their offices are closed and I can not confirm that the package is sitting at the closest available ups location for pick up. Aside from this pissed off consumer review there will be answers tomorrow when I go to the closest location. (an address that I had gotten from their website under the will call option in the specific menu for my info notice number.)

UPS in Las Vegas, Nevada - Rude Calling me shor of a thief

UPS IN LAS VEGAS SUCKS. The drivers are great its everyone seem to be idiots! I had to put 2 items on "Hold for Pick Up". Long story short when I called to have my items delivered they said 1 was picked up already (It wasn't) and AMazon had to refund me. When I got to the UPS dispatch for pick up they couln't find my other item and a supervisor refused to come down and talk to me. I had to go home print out the tracking and then UPS found it. Then they found the other item in which they said "I had already picked up" Just the day before they were calling me a thief, DId I get "I am sorry" *** NO. I am stuck using UPS because that is all Amazon seems to use. However Amazon should use Fed Ex. UPS SUCKS

UPS Stole My Package

UPS tried to deliver my package and I wasn't home. On the second attempt, I was not home either... Imagine my surprise when I look online and it lists my name as having signed for it. So the driver decided to sign MY NAME (seems illegal) and just leave my brand new 50inch flat screen on my shared porch in the heart of San Francisco in the middle of the day. I called UPS and they said to take it up with the shipper. UPS blows and I need to figure out how to get my money back... How does UPS stay in business? I have read a bunch of accounts of similar situations of the driver signing for thins himself or letting some rando sign for it. I can't believe this is allowed to go on. How about calling me and asking? How about you give a time window that you will deliver the package so I CAN be home. How about you deliver on Saturdays. Some of us work during the week for money to buy TVs instead of stealing them. I guess LOGISTICS are the name of the game. Delivery time goes down when you just leave flat screens on the doorstep in major metropolitan areas.

Well I certainly can't defend them forging your signature!!! I've never heard of this before!

Although, they do give you a two hour window if you sign up for their service called My Choice. They don't deliver Ground packages on Saturday because there's a thing called a "day off" for the drivers. The drivers work all day M-F.

Select unlucky drivers alternate Saturdays. Have your package delivered somewhere where someone can sign for a package.
