UPS SUUUUUUUUUCKS !!!!!!!!!

I ORDERED A LAPTOP HARD DRIVE FOR A CUSTOMER AND IT WAS TO BE DELIVERED THE NEXT DAY....... I RECEIVED A NOTIFICATION THAT IT WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE WAREHOUSE BECAUSE OF AN EMERGENCY SITUATION......... THE TRUCK TURNED AROUND TWO MILES FROM MY HOUSE BECAUSE IT STARTED RAINING !!!!....... NOT EVEN A DOWNPOUR......... IT WAS A LIGHT SOAKER !!!!...... LAZY *** !!!!....... THE HARD DRIVE WAS FOR A CUSTOMER AND I LOST A VALUABLE CONTRACT BECAUSE OF THIS....... I TOLD MY CUSTOMER I WOULD HAVE THEIR COMPUTER FINISHED BECAUSE THEIR HARD DRIVE WAS COMING IN YESTERDAY AND IT NEVER SHOWED....... UPS TOLD ME THAT IT WASN'T THEIR PROBLEM....... I'M GONNA HAVE TO REQUEST THAT MY VENDORS USE SOMEONE OTHER THAN UPS FROM NOW ON !!!!

Terrible driving nearly killing me!!

When driving through Beaconsfield in Bucks this morning I was cut up by the terrible driving of one of your men. I noticed him parked in an awful place beside a busy road during rush hour traffic and instantly thought how ridiculous it was at 9 in the morning to half block a road! When I got closer I had noticed the driver in or out of the vehicle but he did have his hazard lights on so it seemed safe to drive past. On getting within around 2 cars length of him he decided to pull out into the road without changing his hazard lights to an indicator and nearly knocking me off the road!! I only got a partial number plate of EX57 but I do think that this man is unfit to drive for UPS especially as he was wearing sun glasses as well, I don't drive a dark car it is a red mini one so I do expect he saw me clearly!

UPS IS USELESS: BAD SHIPPER

Yel F.UPS: Shippers are encouraged to report lost packages because receivers may not have all the shipment information needed to perform a thorough investigation. In addition, claim notification letters are not sent to receivers. All claims are settled with the shipper. ME: looks like the package is sitting in the ups san pablo location ME: not a shipper issue...this is a ups issue Yel F.UPS: I understand your frustration. That is why an investigation is needed to be open by the shipper so that we can resolve this matter. Please be aware that the last scan on a package in-transit is not necessarily an indication of its current location. Yel F.UPS: If it has been more than 24 hours since the last updated scan and scheduled delivery has passed and no sign of the package. An investigation is needed to be opened by the shipper in order for us to work with them in further resolving this matter so that we can find out on what happened to this package and why it was not delivered. Only the shipper can make changes to a shipment. Because you are not the UPS customer, the shipper is.

FedEx is my preferred method of shipping

So, I moved down here from Erie, where I had a huge problem with UPS. That's neither here nor there, but I was already wary of how awful UPS is. Oh, you're not here from 2-5 PM because you work? Okay, we'll try again tomorrow WHEN YOU ARE AT WORK AGAIN. blah, blah, blah. So, I had a package coming that I knew I had to be available to sign for. Found out when it was going to be delivered, tracked it and everything, made my work schedule so that I had the day off SPECIFICALLY to wait for the package. Sat in the living room close to the door, didn't put the TV or music on so that I could hear the driver come. I have a metal screen door so it makes a pretty decent noise if you knock even slightly, I can hear it in any room of the house, but predicting that this guy would be a ninja I decided to play it safe. Even scheduled not to use the restroom (because you know when you're in there, that's the 2 minutes they show up and don't wait). Waited, waited, checked outside a few times, didn't see anything. Boyfriend comes home about 5 and gives me the dreaded but expected Sorry We Missed You notice. Looked at the time, I was sitting in the living room. Called to complain and customer service was soooo kind to me that I couldn't even express my anger to her. Of course, the drivers were done for the evening. So I explained my situation, and the woman was very nice to me assuring me that she would speak with the driver. The next day I heard the truck pull up and waited in my kitchen like a child playing hide and seek. I peeked out so that I could watch the driver come over and literally tap on the doorframe of my apartment. Just as suspected. So the next shipment (didn't have to sign for), I nearly peed myself when I heard something hit my door. Went to see and the box was on its side, you could tell that the guy just launched it at my door. I can't win with these people....I encourage all reader's to look up the internet meme "How to deliver to a private residence". Spot on.

You people realize that this happens with UPS, FedEx and the USPS, right?! It depends on the driver, not the company. However the meme is quite funny because that's how it always seems!

Packages

Pissed off at UPS...............In the past 2 wk 2 different companies have sent packages using UPS, UPS left info notices on different apartment doors than what was on the mailing address, the person was nice enough to give me the notices only it was too late to get packages, when I called the customer service line for UPS, it stated that I would have 5 days from 3rd attempt to collect package from local office,I still had time. I could not find a phone number for the office so I talk to a UPS Store they stated that the office in Bozeman MT does not practice the 5 day pickup rule, once the 3rd attempt has been made they immediately send the packages back. How am I suppose to get a package when I don't know it is even here? I work 11-7 so I am home by 0730 and am a light sleeper so if they attempted to make a delivery (rung doorbell or knock on door) I would have been home to get package. I have to buy different things off the internet because this is a small town and does not have a lot of things in stores, and I want settle. This is to all companies that use UPS I will not be ordering things from you because I can't get my packages, I have had no problem getting things from the good old United States Postal Service, so companies that use them will be getting my money from now on. I filled a complaint with UPS web site I don't expect anything to come of it they will just make excuses, so here I am pissed off and no packages.

Verry mad

I was waiting for a package from the US when it finally got hear in Canada. UPS contacted me via email. the package showed up at my house, I was not at home at the time. the driver left me there info Notice I call there 1-800 number they told me that I had to wait until the the next day. I asked them to hold it at there warehouse and I will pick it up. I called the next day and the customer service rep and asked her is my package there at the warehouse she told me that it was on the truck for delivery so I waited another day for my package. then went on there website today and now it says waiting for pick up I went to the warehouse and my package was not there. the man at the counter said that he would call the driver to have the package dropped. I have had no call back from the man at the counter to tell me when it would be at my house it is now 6:45 Alberta time and still no call and no driver. I feel that I have bin given the run around from them now I have bin waiting two days to get my package from them. this is ridiculous the big companies *** on the little guy.

UPS won't deliver package

I live in New York City. The UPS delivery guy comes at odd times and won't leave the package in my apartment building unless I am there to personally sign for it.

I have a job, which assures that I'm never there when he comes. Every time I've ordered from UPS, I beg and plead for them to just leave the package at my door like FedEx or USPS. The only alternative is for me to make a 2-hour trip to Maspeth to the storage facility to pick up the package, which totally defeats the purpose of ordering something online. Customer service is useless.

I don't lose the money, but I didn't get an important order in time and let a lot of people down.

I am at my wit's end and will never, ever use UPS again.

Oh, how I feel your pain, brother....

I buy books off of Amazon, and despite the fact that I've VOLUBLY told them (Amazon *and* UPS) about this same issue, I STILL get orders "delivered" (notice the use of quote marks) by Useless Parcel Service most of the time. And damned if it's not the same deal: "We Brownshirts haff dezided your package not to leave at your door because ve don't vant to.

Zo...TOUGH NOOGIES, mein Herr!" I sign the package release, and guess what? The chimps still won't just leave the package AT MY APARTMENT DOOR INSIDE A LOCKED BUILDING. They can get in and leave one of their *** notices, but they can't leave the PACKAGE?!?

I call "shenanigans" here.

This is why I LOATHE UPS. The only reason I'm getting my package today is that UPS handed it over to the USPS, which--according to Amazon Tracking---has already delivered my book.

I have an idea, have the package delivered to your work. UPS drivers are trained not to leave a package at an apartment without a signature.

If it gets stolen then you will say they never delivered it.

There is a reason they do what they do and have been around so long. An apartment has a lot of foot traffic so they are seen as a high risk to just leave at your door compared to a house where they can hide the package behind a pillar or something and can not be seen from the street.

UPS can certainly leave packages at the door, and have done so for many years at my townhome. Recently, they stopped doing that.

They will tell you to join "My UPS" for free, BUT if you don't choose the "pay us $40" option, then you don't get the option of waiving signature.

So basically I have to pay the shipping charges and then pay them again to leave the package. Fed Ex rocks!!

I worked at UPS as a pkg driver and your driver will be in serious trouble if he just leaves it. I suggest you get someone on your floor( bld) to agree to take take it and leave instructions on the note he left you.

It's the drivers discretion.. That is what their corporate offices will even tell you.. Just tell them that because you are having to take time off from work to sit at home a wait for a package that didn't require a signature, tell them that you will take them to small claims court because you are losing money on them when you paid for the shipping in the first place..

Can't delivery on-time or backup their "guarantee"

This company is not capable of backing their "guarantee" of delivery and take no accountability for their mistakes. I paid for express delivery and was assured that it would be delivered Friday 7/26. Of course delivery time comes and goes with no word what-so-ever from the company to inform me of the delay. Then, when I call around 9pm (2 hours after their predicted "deliver by" time") I'm assured the driver is not allowed to go home without all the packages on the truck being delivered (my package was placed on the truck for delivery at 8:15am). More than 9 hours after my package was loaded I'm being told they have no idea where my package or their driver is but to keep an eye out because it will be delivered. So, imagine my surprise (and extreme irritation) when I call at midnight, after still not receiving my package, to be told that it has been rescheduled for... Monday. That's right, despite their "guarantee" they can't even deliver today after they made the mistake.

Left 4 packages next door

I received an email that said 4 packages had been delivered to my address at 2:56 pm. They HAD NOT. About 7pm I called UPS Customer Service. I got the run around. They told me I had to report this to the shipper. In this case it was 3 different shippers. While on the phone, I went outside and started walking the street. There were 4 packages on the porch next door. I asked if UPS would come and check to see if they were mine. I did not want to be accused of trespassing or stealing packages from next door. The lady was so busy reading from her script she ignored my question, until I had repeated it 5 times, each time raising my voice. She put me on hold to check, but told me they could not. This is unacceptable that a customer has to go trespassing next door to get their packages. I just learned when UPS makes a mistake, they are unwilling to correct it, even when the customer has done all the work and located their misplaced packages for them.

Bad customer service and no business credit

UPS - Bad customer service and no business credit
This happens all the time and I only report this case coz I am infurious about the way they deliver my pacakge this time. They made the first attempt on Thursday afternoon and I wasn't able to get it becoz I needed to work during the day. The delivery guy left an infonotice on my door marking the 2nd attempt would be made on Friday after 5 pm. So I made my work arrangement to leave early so that I can get back home before 5. I managed to get at home at around 4:50 pm only to see another door tag and after I called the customer service, they told me the attempt has been made at 3;30 pm. I questioned them why they failed to abide by the said delivery time range. UPS keeps telling me that was an estimate and the actual delivery time is completely based on the driver's free will. I can't believe how absurd their business rule is. If they cannot make a reasonable estimate, they can choose not to. Instead, they made a business promise, and when the customer made his arrangement trying to fit into their schedule, they violated it without any reasonable excuse. And all the customer service reps said was it's not a reliable estimate. So they want me to convey this message to all the UPS customers including the businesses who still choose this company as their major deliverying vehicle, IF YOU CHOOSE UPS, YOU GOTTA STAY AT HOME ALL DAY ON THE DELIVERY DAY TO RECEIVE YOUR PACKAGE. IF YOU MAKE MANY ONLINE PURCHASE IN A YEAR AND THEY ALL SHIPS WITH UPS, THEN PLEASE QUIT YOUR JOB!!!!! That statement has been confirmed and agreed upon by the UPS customer service Reps.

All the Driver can do is make a best guess estimate.

Drivers cannot predict the future as to what time the stops on their route will be delivered.

Guess he should get a new magic 8 ball that is more accurate!

UPS smart pick doesn't work for my company. It all sounds good . I process packages before 4PM check to see smart pick up # was issued. Then No UPS truck driver comes to pick up package. A Ramon told me I still had to cal in a for a pick up. He said it would only take a minute;that not true its more like 5 minutes. A Janet even gave phone # 201-330-****. Said I should call in the future. That was when I complained my packages hadn't been pick up Thur. They weren't picked up Fri. either. Today she not available. Anyone want to join a class action suit? UPS is charging for services they are not providing.

What apprears to be Theft

UPS Sucks! I was returning on order to a ventder and the package that I shipped showed back up on my doorstep a week after I sent it without any of the product that was in the box present. On the box was a tag stating refused, return to sender. The box was still taped and the stuffing used was still in the box. I called the company and asked why the refused it and they stated that they never recieved it. UPS states that the box was damaged. Not even close!!!! The box was in tack and believe it or not , without any damage. Their system requires a driver to fill out a damage goods report if there is damage and there was no report. They then stated that the box must have came open, and that they have a LOST AND FOUND area for just this instance. I agreed to have them look, just in case the box had come open the product would be in there. Well as you guess its not there. This leads me to my conclusion that the product was stolen from the box. UPS SUPPORT THEIR EMPLOYEES TO BE THEIVES and claims that this is damaged goods. This sure sounds like insurance fraud to me, but when you own your own insurance company you can protect your bottom line by denying things all day. I have spent almost a week trying to talk to representative and they all just give these pre-canned answers, I do have a phone number for customer relations at Corporate HQ and will post it for anyone who wants it. Funny thing is as I fighting this claim another box I recieved was damaged and the shipper , rather than filling a claim said that theyd just send another than try and work with UPS. jon from wisconsin

Delayed Package

Ordered a package where it is said 1 day to be processed by the store (and it was) and 2-6 (UPS Shipped) to be at my door. I waited a good 4 days and looked online just to find some terrible news. Now apparently my package is delayed to next week making it 9 days! I paid for the 2-6 day shipping rather the free shipping where basically you never get any of your stuff for half a month. Thing is this isnt the first time. Im sorry but I wish UPS was gone and USPS took over since they do a lot better of a job, plus USPS is actually FRIENDLY. UPS really has to stop worrying about the khaki shorts and get to WORK!

Unsafe driveing

on 2 separate occasions I have witnessed unsafe driving by 2 different ups freight drivers. one driver was talking on his cell phone and driving his semi rig with his elbows while drive on md rout 695 and the other driver was driving at 70 mph on the same road. both on 2 different days these two drivers apparently don't care about any laws pertaining to no hand held cell phone use while drive a tractor trailer or obeying posted speed limits or for public safety.i personally clocked the one driver doing 70 mph this morning sept 23 2013at the off ramp to md route 10

Change delivery address

I have spent the last four or five days trying here and on my phone to change my delivery address....YOU do have THE most unfriendly website that it has ever been my bad luck to have contact with.... It would help if your sent your concerns to UPS, as on this website no one is going to be able to assist you.

You may as well have walked into a convention and strated demanding the folks there take care of your problem with UPS.
