UPS in Houston, Texas - Package wasn't delivered when guaranteed due to a lie by the driver!

So packages normally deliver to my company by 3pm on a normal day. 3pm came and passed so I called to get a guarantee they were delivering today since I leave at 3pm. I wait and wait and then get notice that the tracking information was changed to redeliver the next day due to the location being closed!!!!????? When I call they tell me they don't know why the driver didn't attempt to deliver and he will be back out to deliver that night. Well I'm not staying here all night obviously so clearly this was no help. Last time I'm using UPS if I can avoid it. What a joke. Horrible customer service.

UPS side swiped my van ---- then drove away!

The truck was making a delivery and had to back up to get clearance into the street as another delivery vehicle was parked in front of him. My van was parked in front of the house....he parked parallel next to me. When he backed up, he scraped up my drivers rear quarter panel. He looked out - along with the driver of the other delivery truck....then drove away!! He didn't know there were witnesses! I called the offices as soon as I could. Took 3 calls to get a manager who "was in a meeting". Funny he became free soon as I mentioned I filled a hit and run report with the police. The manager and the driver came out to my house later that day. The driver insists he did not he hit me. I would imagine backing into a mini van, he at least would of felt the resistence if he didn't hear the scraping! The amount their insurance is offering is insane!

UPS - Package sent to wrong place

I went to a T-Mobile store to get new phones for my family. We ended up getting 3 iPhone 5C's and 1 Iphone 5S. They told us that they weren't in stock at the moment and that they would have to ship it to us. We get a tracking number by UPS and wait for the delivery. Several days passed and we saw that they were in the same city so we watched for hours to make sure the package got there. No vehicle showed up but the tracking said delivered, and that It was signed by some person I have never heard of (It was not any of my neighbors). I still don't know what to do. Even though we filed a claim that the package was lost/stolen, nothing has changed. That package was very expensive (It cost me $1000+) so I wish I could get it, but UPS keeps jerking me around.

UPS in Coram, New York - Package arrived damaged

I shipped a box home containing ceramics and glasses. Everything was wrapped in newspaper, bubble wrap and placed inside a box with peanuts for extra protection and the box was marked fragile. When the box arrived, it was all smashed and the contents was destroyed. The UPS driver could not believe the condition of the box. I filed a damage complaint and followed UPS guidelines. They picked up the package to do a damage investigation. After 10 days and not hearing anything, I called UPS who advised me that when their investigation is done, they notify the store where it was shipped from and do not notify the people involved. I immediately called the store who said UPS declined the claim because they felt it wasn't packaged well enough. What a rip off. Next time I'll use FEDEX.

Should have used FED Ex from the start! UPS is the worst for damaging things.

There claims dept is a joke, as well. Sorry you had to learn the hard way.

Yes, I do work for UPS.

You had each individual glass wrapped in a minimum 2" of bubble wrap,(not the dime store stuff, but the wrap with the large bubbles) each ceramic piece wrapped the same?

You had MINIMUM of 2" of space filler on the top and bottom, and all 4 sides?

Regardless if the boxis marked fragile, that means nothing, as the boxes will travel on up to 30 miles of belts, and the belts can't read.

Had it been wrapped in the above manner, it would have stood a better chance of not being damaged, but i doubt it was.

On Friday 9/27 UPS Tracking showed that our payroll package from ADP, which delivers to our place of business, was out for Delivery (should have delivered by 10:30...by 4:00 p.m.no package...no package update... I started calling; UPS stated the package will deliver that day.... by 7:35 p.m. still no package... I called UPS customer service at least 3x's between 4:00 and 7:35 CST. They continued to tell me the driver will be there any minute... THE PACKAGE WASN'T EVENT ATTEMPTED to be delivered! on or about 11:30 p.m. 9/27 the tracking changed to 9/27 OUT FOR DELIVERY and Scheduled for Delivery 9/30!... Gee that truck has been out for delivery for 3 DAYS!...

UPS Depot unmanned during open hours

I drove 150 miles to UPS depot in Baileyville, Maine, to pick up a notified as received shipment. There was no clerk there at 4:15 PM on Friday the 27th of September 2013, (which is supposed to be a scheduled time when it is manned). Another person in the building (a mechanic) told me that the UPS Service clerk did not come in to work that day and the manager had been peviously advised but that there was no temporary replacement "because UPS would not hire one". I faced another 600 miles of driving to come back on another day. I had a shipment arrival notice that my shipment was in, but could not determine where it was. Poor, sloppy and unreliable performance!. I am dismayed. UPS does not list a complaints telephone number on their website

UPS - NO DELIVERY IN BORO PARK BROOKLYN

Boro Park, Brooklyn NY 11218 is the only neighborhood which does not receive UPS delivery on Saturdays and Jewish Holidays. Just because Hasidic Jewish people live in this neighborhood does not mean that other people don't live here. I was in need of my medicine (I have cancer) which was being over nighted and didn't receive it because of Jewish Holiday. After 3 hours on the phone between Doctors Office & UPS thats when I was told NO delivery in 11218 on Jewish Holiday. That is ridiculous! If you ask me it's also prejudice!!! I will never use UPS again & I will be sure nobody sends me any packages UPS ever again!!!

UPS does not deliver on Saturdays to anyone unless they have paid extra for Saturday delivery.

UPS in Saint Louis, Missouri - Driver No - Shows

UPS should be called United Pissey Service. I just recently moved to an apartment building downtown. I shop on line often and UPS is the service that most online companies use. Almost every week, I'm calling customer service because the drivers usually won't show up. Of course calling the call center is a joke, and I usually have to go get my packages because UNITED PISSEY SERVICE wont deliver them. They lie and say that they tried to deliver. The funny thing about that is, the building I live in has security cameras on the inside as well as the outside. When I tell customer service the phone goes silent. Rating them would be unfair since there are no negative minus one to choose from.

Feel your pain! I too live in an apartment with cameras and have sat all day waiting on packages that never arrive, but yet i get a delivered notice on the web. Their new lazy trick is to bulk drop them at the Apartment Managers office.....I guess they consider that delivered...pretty lame actually.
