Welcome to the wonderful world of UPS doing whatever they want. Remember that there are other, better AND less expensive shipping options. Paying top dollar to get the worst service should only even happen to a person once!

UPS driver cannot find my address

I ordered a package that was shipped by UPS. I expected to received it last Thursday. I tracked it and UPS claimed that my address is incorrect. I contacted UPS customer service 3 times, they called me each time and verified my address which is totally correct. They said that they corrected it and the problem still occurs again and again. Last time, on Friday they called me and said that they succeeded stop the package from being shipped to the sender at the parking lot, and it would be delivered today. In fact, it is on its way to the sender. UPS customer services is useless since they just said that they contact the local management team and they could not do anything else. In my case, I suspect the competency of the local UPS driver, especially the current driver in response to my area. The problem just happened since this May, before that everything was OK. I will never order anything shipped by UPS and never use UPS in the future. Here is my tracking number: 1ZW22A340362435915. After posting on their Facebook twice on two other cases, they blocked me on their Facebook too. What a shame!

Sorry to hear you also had issues. This type of experience with them is right inline with our own. Only through communicating our experiences with others can we get the word out on UPS.

I will never use nor recommend UPS either.

Same thing happened to me. They claimed my address was not a valid address, although I was standing at that exact address when they told me that.

The driver, they said, could not find my new address, so he just dropped it at my old address. Luckily, the old address was not far away from my new address, so I drove over to my old house and picked up the package from very confused and unfriendly tenants. What if they had decided to keep my package? Um???

This happened twice and when I asked UPS to correct it, they said I would have to wait for 8-10 days while they tracked it. Very unfriendly. I talked to three people at the 800 number and got three very different stories. They first person told me they could not pursue a search because the tracking number had ended and they had delivered the package.

It was not until I found a local person in the company that I got any satisfaction. The frustration is that they told me they could not find my address on any map, but I found it in less than a minute on Google Earth and Siri gave me directions to my address very quickly, too.

Worthless and incompetent company.

Your right about one thing.....its all in the driver...and the amount of effort they want to put forth on delivery.....which in your case was Zero. It also seems UPS is in denial.....and does not want to hear bad news. Either way you lose out

You are indeed right, their business model has changed quite drastically from the days of old. More and more people are learning the hard way not to use them, quite the contrary, people are going out of their way now to educate even total strangers of the pitfalls of using UPS.

UPS 0 for 4, just can't get it right

I have had four UPS shipments from on-line companies over the past year. None has been delivered to my address. The latest delivery was while I was at home (same as the last 3 messed up shipments). I was tracking and it stated on truck for delivery. As I sat waiting, I tracked again and it stated Delivered, Left at Front Door. My door bell was never rung, and I immediately went to the front door: no package. I checked around the building (as instructed by UPS on previous missing shipments) and no package anywhere. I contacted UPS with no luck. Even though the driver had supposedly just left, they would not contact him to ask where he left the package. They told me to contact the shipper to initiate a trace. In addition, I was told that the driver also had a supervisor riding with him to audit his deliveries: you've got to be kidding. Even with a supervisor, they could not deliver a package. This is the fourth consecutive messed up shipment by UPS. I have had seven successful FedEx deliveries and four successful Priority Mail deliveries in the same time period. What does that tell you?

I too have experienced horrible service at the hand of UPS! For some reason they seem to have an inability to follow the directions on the package that says to Buzz# and then we will meet them downstairs in our lobby.

It really seems like they never ever come to my building period from the looks of it. When you order from online retailers it is very frustrating that you can not request they use a different courier.

I have ordered in the last month 3 text books and none of them have been delivered to my place of residence. I don't even get those "we missed you slips".

I always have to go back to the retailer and search the tracking number from them then go to the UPS site and put the tracking number in and find out from there where the *** my package is. I mean MY GOD why can't they at least leave me the slip saying they tried to deliver? I absolutely hate dealing with them. I recall one time I ordered a blender and they explained when it should arrive etc.

After a week from the date I called them up and said hey I ordered an item I was home and no delivery..the rep on the line did some digging for me and wait for it..wait for it....it was delivered by UPS, I got the tracking number and called UPS to find out where my package was. Do you know that the UPS rep had the nerve to tell me that they were about to send my package back to the shipper!

That was when I lost it....how dare they send a package they never tried to deliver to me at all...I went on to explain in detail what I had gone through to discover that it was them that should have delivered it. They offered to re-try and I basically refused and explained that I will go up to the facility myself and get MY package since they are so incapable of doing their primary job of delivery.

UPS in Sherwood Park, Alberta - Delayed sending my package and bad communication

I first brought my two sets of products to be sent for a recall to the UPS store on a monday to which the employee said he could not do anything until another employee who knew how to handle recalls was not in until Friday on which they would be sent out. No problem. I came back on the Friday to make sure the employee knew which products went into which package together. I said I was the client with these products for recall to which he said that's fine. I then asked if he knew which products went together to which he scoffed and said "I think I know what I am doing". I then asked if he knew that there were two separate packages. he stumbles in his words and says "oh well maybe you better come to the back and show me". I go back and show him and he said great they should be sent out soon. I wait until the following Wednesday and called and they said that they were sending them out that day and I will get a confirmation email. Great. Its the next Monday (2 weeks) and I call as I never got an email yet and a girl says that they must have been sent out since she doesn't see any of my products but she cant check because she doesn't know how. (great training). she took my information and said they will call me back in an hour when the other employee comes back. I wait 2 hours and call back. The employee said that they haven't been sent out but should in the next couple days. ok....I start to get suspicious and so that Thursday I come and ask whats going on. the SAME employee tells me that he had to order special boxes (which he ordered that Monday) and it would take 4-5 business days (so that Friday or the following Monday). I get upset because the need for the boxes should have been figured out within the first week and they shouldn't have kept telling me that they were being sent out that day if they weren't. Finally I call again today, Thursday - been over 3 weeks since they have been in that office and a week since I asked about the boxes. no boxes and not sent. I will never go here again

UPS refuse to ring my apartment buzzer then claim I wasn't at home

Both times UPS were supposed to deliver to my door this year they have failed to do so. Instead of pressing my buzzer number they take the package straight to the UPS store for self pick-up. Tellingly, they don't leave any failed delivery notices making me think that they never turned up in the first place (why not leave a UPS sticker if you really did turn up?). They also claim to have tried a delivery when both my wife and I have been at home (another lie). This is the worst company and customer service I have ever encountered. Not because of a single instance, but because UPS do this every time. So much so that I dread dealing with companies that say they use UPS.

UPS DRIVERS SUCKS! UPS CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!

I've spent a day waiting for delivery of my package. At 5pm UPS truck finally arrived, but for some reason the driver decided not to ring my doorbell which is located just an inch away from my front door. Three people were at home - myself working at the backyard, my wife watching TV and my daughter doing some homework upstairs. Because the doorbell didn't ring nobody noticed anything and the driver left after spending only 5 seconds or less, didn't even bother himself making up a delivery notice. I saw the truck when it was already leaving. I called UPS dispatch right away and asked them to page the driver to return. I spent almost an hour waiting on the phone, but at the end they said they can't return at the same day and I will have to wait until tomorrow. This is just the most terrible delivery service and customer service I have ever seen. People - please ignore UPS and use other delivery companies whenever you can. Don't let UPS screw up your day!

UPS says they delivered my prescriptions I ordered thru Express Scripts. I did not receive them.

They say the driver delivered and they are not responsible. I was told to contact express scripts. Neither claim responsibility. Meanwhile I'm out $285.

No way will I ever use UPS If I have a choice.

As for UPS and Express Scripts, they can kiss my grits!!! :(
