UPS 0 for 4, just can't get it right
I have had four UPS shipments from on-line companies over the past year. None has been delivered to my address. The latest delivery was while I was at home (same as the last 3 messed up shipments). I was tracking and it stated on truck for delivery. As I sat waiting, I tracked again and it stated Delivered, Left at Front Door. My door bell was never rung, and I immediately went to the front door: no package. I checked around the building (as instructed by UPS on previous missing shipments) and no package anywhere. I contacted UPS with no luck. Even though the driver had supposedly just left, they would not contact him to ask where he left the package. They told me to contact the shipper to initiate a trace. In addition, I was told that the driver also had a supervisor riding with him to audit his deliveries: you've got to be kidding. Even with a supervisor, they could not deliver a package. This is the fourth consecutive messed up shipment by UPS. I have had seven successful FedEx deliveries and four successful Priority Mail deliveries in the same time period. What does that tell you?
UPS in Sherwood Park, Alberta - Delayed sending my package and bad communication
I first brought my two sets of products to be sent for a recall to the UPS store on a monday to which the employee said he could not do anything until another employee who knew how to handle recalls was not in until Friday on which they would be sent out. No problem. I came back on the Friday to make sure the employee knew which products went into which package together. I said I was the client with these products for recall to which he said that's fine. I then asked if he knew which products went together to which he scoffed and said "I think I know what I am doing". I then asked if he knew that there were two separate packages. he stumbles in his words and says "oh well maybe you better come to the back and show me". I go back and show him and he said great they should be sent out soon. I wait until the following Wednesday and called and they said that they were sending them out that day and I will get a confirmation email. Great. Its the next Monday (2 weeks) and I call as I never got an email yet and a girl says that they must have been sent out since she doesn't see any of my products but she cant check because she doesn't know how. (great training). she took my information and said they will call me back in an hour when the other employee comes back. I wait 2 hours and call back. The employee said that they haven't been sent out but should in the next couple days. ok....I start to get suspicious and so that Thursday I come and ask whats going on. the SAME employee tells me that he had to order special boxes (which he ordered that Monday) and it would take 4-5 business days (so that Friday or the following Monday). I get upset because the need for the boxes should have been figured out within the first week and they shouldn't have kept telling me that they were being sent out that day if they weren't. Finally I call again today, Thursday - been over 3 weeks since they have been in that office and a week since I asked about the boxes. no boxes and not sent. I will never go here again
UPS refuse to ring my apartment buzzer then claim I wasn't at home
Both times UPS were supposed to deliver to my door this year they have failed to do so. Instead of pressing my buzzer number they take the package straight to the UPS store for self pick-up. Tellingly, they don't leave any failed delivery notices making me think that they never turned up in the first place (why not leave a UPS sticker if you really did turn up?). They also claim to have tried a delivery when both my wife and I have been at home (another lie). This is the worst company and customer service I have ever encountered. Not because of a single instance, but because UPS do this every time. So much so that I dread dealing with companies that say they use UPS.
UPS DRIVERS SUCKS! UPS CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!
I've spent a day waiting for delivery of my package. At 5pm UPS truck finally arrived, but for some reason the driver decided not to ring my doorbell which is located just an inch away from my front door. Three people were at home - myself working at the backyard, my wife watching TV and my daughter doing some homework upstairs. Because the doorbell didn't ring nobody noticed anything and the driver left after spending only 5 seconds or less, didn't even bother himself making up a delivery notice. I saw the truck when it was already leaving. I called UPS dispatch right away and asked them to page the driver to return. I spent almost an hour waiting on the phone, but at the end they said they can't return at the same day and I will have to wait until tomorrow. This is just the most terrible delivery service and customer service I have ever seen. People - please ignore UPS and use other delivery companies whenever you can. Don't let UPS screw up your day!
Ups drivers are the worst
Every time I have get a package delivered from ups they pull into my driveway and stop about 3 feet from my car, which would not be so bad but ups drivers drive like a bat out of ***. They go way to fast, stop abruptly, and in general drive very recklessly. Because of this I always find myself racing to the window to make sure they don't hit my car. They have almost backed right into my car on several occasions. Pulling out of my driveway they go so fast that you'd think they were driving the Indy 500. Short of putting a gate at the end of my driveway I'm not sure what can be done to prevent these unprofessional drivers from entering my driveway. What makes me even more upset is the fact that I live on a street that has very little traffic so parking on the street would be very easy, yet ups still feels the need to speed up my driveway at a million miles an hour. What a terrible company.
I have spent the entire day hovering between an open front door and a window in a futile attempt to make sure that I received my package which according to the UPS Tracking information was put out for delivery vehicle at 06:06 hrs this morning from Croydon a few miles...
UPS in Bellflower, California - Don't trust delivery times
Do not trust the delivery times on your notices! At first my delivery time told me by end of day(7:30pm) so I made arrangements to be home all day. Then my tracking status was changed to between 3pm and 7:30pm so I ran out and got a haircut, was gone for 45 minutes, and came back to find that they tried to deliver it at 12:37! To top it off I authorized them to leave it at my door via MyUPS and I was told that "it was at the drivers discretion". Now I have to wait till tonight around 8pm to go pick it up myself! With todays technology and instant updates they still can't get it right!
UPS in Akron, Ohio - Everything broken inside the box!
I shipped 2 large boxes (one weighed 15lbs one weighed 25lbs). Inside the boxes were dolls & figurines. I packed them tightly with lots of bubble wrap & newspaper. When the boxes arrived EVERY item inside the box was broken. How can they just toss boxes around like it was nothing -- I had fragile written all over the boxes, apparently that means nothing. Not only did I lose out on the $27 shipping costs I also lost out on the money ($300) I was receiving for the items, obviously I'm not making someone pay for a bunch of broken stuff. I will NEVER use UPS again.
UPS failed to deliver, not once, not twice but 3 times!!
My next-day UPS delivery was scheduled for Weds 9Oct but unfortunately I was at work so the driver left a UPS InfoNotice. He didn't bother to fill out any of the blanks, just left a note stuffed in the letter box. I called their office on Weds evening and spoke to their helpdesk, changed the delivery address and asked them to deliver on Thursday 10 Oct. Rescheduled for Thur 10 Oct no-show! Rescheduled for Fri 11 Oct no-show!! Rescheduled for Mon 14 Oct no-show!!! UPS failed to deliver on 3 occasions, the local office made false statements and now they refuse to return my calls. Probably the worst courier company in the world.
