Terrible Service from UPS

My 1st parcel has been sitting at a UPS depot in Edmonton since Dec 4th, the second one since Dec 6th. I understand that we had some cold weather and snow and that Christmas is near but really people, this is Alberta Canada and those 3 events happen every year ! Just let me come and pick up my parcels, that way you won't have the burden of having to actually deliver the darn things. Customer service call centres in Asia and New Brunswick had the same answer. We are trying really hard to get the parcels delivered but its cold and snowy...I don't think you're trying at all.

UPS in New York, New York - Samsung Phone Lost at Local Facility

I sent my Galaxy 4 phone to Samsung to replace the screen, and I was supposed to receive it back yesterday. The shipping status on UPS.com stated that the package was missed at the facility and would be delivered the next business day, which is today. The UPS driver delivered a package for someone else at my address, and when I asked him about my package, he said that he lost it and that he was going to look for it, and deliver it when it's found. What does that mean? by the end of the week? Or next year? I called customer service, and the girl I spoke with said that UPS is overwhelmed with packages, and that I should work it out with my local UPS facility. Surprise, a delivery company tells me that it's busy delivering packages around the holiday season. Are you kidding me? UPS did not forecast the surge in package deliveries during this time? That reminds me of www.healthcare.gov. After I pressed the girl for more information, she told me that I should work it out with Samsung, that the package was insured and Samsung would have to put in a claim. Thanks UPS for ruining my holidays. I'll be without a phone probably until New Year. For those wondering how I could call UPS if I did not have a phone, I used Google Voice. Thanks God it's free this year.

UPS in Chesterland, Ohio - Lied about delivery

Got an email saying they had delivered package at 3:47 pm to the FRNT PORCH. Business is open until 6 pm, and package never arrived. We are a business and do not have a porch. I was in the front all day and would have personally seen the truck pull up. When we called the 800 number the choices only divert to recordings; could not talk to customer service rep. We informed the vendor that we will no longer do business with them until they find another shipping company. Do not ship with UPS or buy from vendors who use them.

UPS in Monterey, California - Stay Far Away!

Paid to have UPS store pack a guitar, thinking that might help insure safe passage. No luck -- in spite of box and bubblewrap, case was crushed, as if it had been thrown 15 ft. onto hard concrete. And now UPS wants to deny claim because of poor packing -- their packing!!! Turns out that the "UPS stores" are owned by Mailboxes etc., so both companies can blame each other for the damage. UPS customer care is hands down the most dysfunctional I've ever encountered. Different answers from every employee, broken promises, dropped balls, missed deadlines. Four weeks and counting, hours and hours on the phone, still no resolution. If you're shipping anything fragile, stay far, far away from UPS.

I'm an author and I was supposed to have my first book signing today. I spent half my month's paycheck ordering copies of my book for this event, but ups is holding my package an hour away from me and claiming it's both still in transit AND delayed, so I can't come pick it up. I'm going to miss out on the biggest opportunity of my career because of ups.

UPS in London, England - No delivery!!

I have never experienced such sub-standard, incompetent and terrible service from an international courier. Your customer service is useless for customers. I had called 5 times, spoke to 5 different persons who could not help me at all and did not even take the initiative to help. Each person advised that delivery was going to be made "today", this went on everyday for 3 days! One customer service advisor went so far as to say " the driver did come to the address but there was no invoice so he refused to deliver"- I was at the address and there was no driver. The subsequent call center advisor told me "there was a problem with the invoice as the ups package depot was supposed to attach the invoice and they didn't so it was not delivered, they will print and attach the invoice and deliver it"....wait for it...."today!" - that was day 2! When I asked if the driver had come to the delivery address, the answer was "no sir it would not have left the distribution network because of no invoice"....so in other words, the policy seems to be "when in doubt lie to the customer"! Day 3- spoke to another customer service agent who had a good giggle and laugh at the expense if my frustration...Who again said "at this point there is nothing I can do"...that's customer service for you! I paid over $100 for express delivery within 2-3 business days....it's now 10 days and no sign of my shipment!!! Absolutely disgusting service!! Useless-Postal-Service ( UPS)!

My computer was shipped November 30 from Microsoft and arrived in Mesquite, Tx Dec 4th. As of yet UPS cannot make delivery??? I have checked daily and it seems to be stuck in terminal. I have contacted their Help dept, live chat, and get the usual run around of it...

UPS in New York, New York - Horrendous customer service at stratospheric rates

Tried to schedule a pickup at a customer's request to ship a package of less than 1lb from NY to Berlin. USPS Price is about twelve bucks and four days Quoted me $84 because they said I have no account. Expedited will take 3 days. So I re-opened a dormant account I had and tried to get a quote: GUESS WHAT THE RATE IS?? You got it, $84 with an account. And the phone calls only took 34 minutes while the quoted me anything up to $600 for this shipment at various mistaken rates. How does this company manage to stay in business or are they principally a local-US delivery company not specialising in international shipments?

My package is stuck in Fort Worth which is the destination City as well. UPS has no idea when will it be delivered and they won't let me pick it up either.

I live in the same City but can't get my package :(

UPS - They haven't informed me that i will take 9 days to send an item form colorado to NH

I have sent my return item on 7 the of December from local ups office from CO to NH with priority mail. It has to be returned before 15th of December. They haven't mentioned me that it will take 9 days to deliver . later while i tracked my item and i found that. I wasn't aware that it will take almost 10 days to sent an item from one state to another within USA. I have spent $10.47 to send iphone.They haven't mentioned anything in the receipt except tracking number. I don't think the seller will accept my return item and refund my money.

That's about right for a UPS ground package. You can't count weekends, UPS works in business days. If time's a factor 2nd day or overnight is the way to go.

Overall I don't think I would mind as much if they at least had customer service let me know what was going on. And the fact that it was a gift and it will arrive after the occasion it was meant to given. Tonight :(

Was expecting a packaged delivered on 12-07-2013, then I have to go and request my tracking number since it was not provided. All to find out " Due to local operation disruption, packages not unloaded from trailer, expect a one day business day delay." Was not notified of this so I waited, my town, FL, United States 12/09/2013 9:12 A.M. Out For Delivery 12/09/2013 9:00 A.M. The package was left in a UPS facility 12/09/2013 6:05 A.M. Arrival Scan Jacksonville, FL, United States 12/09/2013 12:59 A.M. Departure Scan Jacksonville, FL, United States 12/08/2013 10:21 A.M. Arrival Scan It is 9:34PM 12-09-2013 still no package, no notice, no nothing. I have tried calling the company but you get through to this automated system ask you a bunch useless questions all for it to transfer to and get the MESSAGE "DUE TO HIGH CALL VOLUME, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO ANSWER YOUR CALL" then you hear a "CLICK" and the call is ended. Their Chat has been down, and your not able to get a response over email either. So now I am just seeking a complete refund of the package they stole, and will never use them again. FILED A BBB, OFFICIAL COMPLAINT

I am getting the same exact run around and even took a days vacation time from work to be here to sign and their "disruption" is causing it to be delivered tomorrow when no one will be here. I have done everything I can including driving to the deliver center to pick it up and have gotten no where. UPS is a freaking joke!!

Well join the club i was supposed to get a delivery today 12/9/13 and it was out for delivery at like 9:36 am all of a sudden i check it 15 min ago and it says it scheduled for tomorrow. no notice or anything. it just changed this is bad business
