UPS in Germantown, Maryland - LATE LATE LATE DELIVERY
I ordered (3) packages for three different businesses. Apparently which all are expected to be delivered by UPS. (I didn't know that) I paid for expedited delivery (3 days), however, its been 2 weeks. When tracking my package all you see is "Exception". The first excuse was weather. That was over an week ago. The second was late trailer, and now all it says "Exception"... AGAIN!! I'm expecting to wrap my daughters Christmas gifts and yet still no presents. UPS is horrible during the holiday season. The only thing they can say to you over the phone is "I apologize". Smh
UPS in Las Vegas, Nevada - RACIAL PROFILING
I went into the UPS office today Wednesday 12-18-13 to have a letter notarized and to have a letter mailed. I had the most unpleasant experience with David Logan. Mr Logan was just finishing up with another customer, he peeked his head to the side and asked "what do you need" I explained to him with I needed and his response was totally unexpected. Sir he said in about 20 minutes I'm going to have about 15 to 20 people in here. You know my regular customers. Dumfounded I asked aren't I a customer. Rolling his eyes he said I'm by myself and cant get tied up with you. I responded Sir I don't think it will take 20 minutes to notarize 1 letter sir. At that point I was told "TO GET THE *** OUT OF HIS STORE" by David Logan. I took a few steps then when to the counter again asked for his name and his manager. He pointed to his name tag Dav that's my name. NOW GET OUT...at that point I left just shaking my head. Mr Logan had no problem helping the Caucasian woman out in front of myself. I felt very disrespected and belittled.

THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY ON THE PLANET. THEY CAN NEVER DELIVER ONE PACKAGE ON TIME. THIS HASN'T HAPPENED A HANDFUL OF TIME, BUT SO MANY THROUGHOUT THE YEARS I DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS. YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DESPICABLE. FEDEX ATLEAST TAKES CARE OF PROBLEMS RATHER THAN CAUSE MORE. WITHIN THE LAST 6 MONTHS YOU HAVE YET TO DELIVER AN OVERNIGHTED PACKAGE ON TIME ONCE. YOUR TRUCKS ARE ALWAYS LATE, YOU COME UP WITH EVERY EXCUSE IN THE BOOK, AND YOU NEVER ANSWER YOUR PHONE. PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, CLOSE DOWN SO NO COMPANY I SHOP WITH WILL EVER USE YOU AGAIN WHEN SHIPPING TO ME.
UPS in Houston, Texas - Stolen packages by employees; facilities without cameras; horrible customer service
I get my sister to buy and ship shoes out for me from Mississippi all the time. She went into the facility in Batesville Ms on a Saturday. they know what she sends out to New Orleans all the time. The employee at the facility packaged and taped the shoes in front of my sister. When I finally received the package I noticed the package was extremely light so I called the facility to let them know before I opened it. They gave me the go ahead to open it. Before I did, I made sure to do so in front of the business store, and I noticed the original printed sticker from the facility where it was shipped from was never tampered or ripped. (It was placed in the middle of the open where the two flaps open). The package was empty except for the two empty shoe boxes. When I called the facility again to report it they said they would do an investigation and that a UPS driver would go and collect the box for investigation. When I asked the employee for the tracking number and information she hesitated to give it to me and told me to call in the morning when a supervisor was available after she told me he was with a customer. So the next day I called again and asked for a supervisor. When I asked him what they were gonna do on their end he told me that they were waiting for an answer from corporate for the investigation. I asked him if they were going to check the cameras because it had to be someone from that facility. He told me there were no cameras in that facility or any other UPS facility and that it was my responsibility to put insurance on a package to cover for any loss. We were never offered any insurance so none was placed. I told him "cover a loss? I'm buying insurance to make sure when of your employees doesn't steal what's inside the package". He continued to argue and talk over me. He said that they would reimburse me $100.00 plus the shipping costs. The shoes were worth over $350 together. so I hung up and called UPS customer service to file a complaint with the facility about not having cameras. She questioned me. "What are you trying to report? That there aren't any cameras? There's already an investigation" she also continued to argue saying they trust their employees 100% and that's what the purpose of the investigation was. When I asked her to redirect me because she wasn't helping me, she hung up on me. My whole point is, how is it that a multi millionaire company doesn't have any cameras in their facilities? How is it that a company so large with so many employees can trust each and every one with customers packages and not have any cameras monitoring them. Basically, anyone of the employees can access your package, steal what's in it, and you won't get reimbursed full amount or get your package because you didn't purchase insurance to make sure no one working for ups steals it. horrible customer service! Horrible company ethics! And horrible staff! Never again using UPS.
UPS in London, England - Everything that could have gone wrong, has.
I ordered next day delivery last tuesday. It is now 8 days later. I have called every day (sometimes up to 4 times) for some kind of information. I have been told "all I can do is ask the depot to call you about your package". I have asked for this 7 times. I have still heard nothing. I have probably spent a total of 160mins on hold/speaking with UPS to sort this all out. I was promised next day delivery last Friday. Nothing on saturday. I was promised next day delivery on Monday. Nothing Tuesday (the driver apparently got lost?? CENTRAL LONDON. NOT HARD) I was promised next day delivery on Tuesday. Nothing Wednesday ("Sorry, the driver seems to have forgotten it at the depot") I spoke with them today, and am promised next day delivery tomorrow. I have been relaying all this to my manager, (who paid the extra 19.50 (EXTORTIONATE) to get it last tuesday.) I have been warned of suspension should it not arrive tomorrow as I am relaying "incorrect Vital Information" UPS: I hope you shrivel up and die in the future economy.
UPS in Kearny, New Jersey - Left my package outside
The ups delivery person left my package sitting on top of a specimen container after an employee in the building directed him where to go or gave him the option of leaving the package with her. He just walked out and left it where anyone can walk in and grab it. Why couldn't he just leave it at desk with the other employee, she did tell him i was there... I have a hard time understanding where good customer service has gone, I tell my husband and friends this all the time. I guess they dont get paid to use their common sense...
UPS in Chatham, Ontario - No delivery attempt actually made
I had ordered two packages that UPS was suppose to deliver yesterday. At 8pm, still nothing. I check the online tracking and apparently an attempt to deliver was made at 4:52pm, but the customer was cited as not being there. At 4:52, I was home. No knock at the door, no truck driving down my street, no sticker left telling me the pick up location. Nothing. Now I am expected to go to a depot in the middle of nowhere (seriously, the very outskirts of Toronto by the highway) to pick up 2 heavy packages that a UPS driver was too lazy to walk to my front door with. Costumer service win.
Paid for 2nd day air, ups *** blows
I have never once in my adult life received a package on the day I pay for much less the day ups tracking says. I ordered a new phone, and chose to pay extra for 2nd day air, ups showed my package in a city less than 30 minutes away, they then moved it to downtown Dallas almost an hour further away, and halfway through the day, approx 7 hours later as I'm leaving late for work hoping to avoid the *** driver who refuses to leave packages and leaves notices instead, the tracking info says unexpectected exception, delayed at least one delivery day... Why in the living *** do I pay for quick shipping if I have to wait ground shipping times??????? Customer service was very nice.. But they can't do a *** thing, which makes them pointless to have on staff. Ups let's their drivers decide when they want to leave packages, this is complete and utter bull $#1t. If I requested that I want you to leave the package, that is what I want you to do!!! And don't offer a second day air service if you can't provide. Holidays are not an excuse, ups has been through enough holidays and is suposively the logistic expert, so if you can't meet 2day air orders, pull the option. Do not offer it. And make it clear it won't happen. Corporations should stop using ups and I will never on purpose unless I don't give a flying f+$-@ how many months it takes to deliver my packages, use this *** service again. This was the last straw, and the pos company didn't deserve another chance. Google can't refund me because it wasn't their fault and ups won't because they didn't process my payment. I wish ups would get with the times, and quit pushing 20+ year old services as new and innovative. Just deliver the god d@mn packages. You have one job and you failed worse than the Hindenburg. ***
UPS in Los Angeles, California - NO DELIVERY 3RD TIME IN A ROW
UPS FREIGHT IS SUPPOSE TO SET AN APPOINTMENT PRIOR DELIVERY. BUT THEY DON'T EVEN CALL TO SET AN APPOINTMENT, UNTIL 6-7PM THE DAY OF DELIVERY. THEN WHILE CALLING BACK 2 MINUTES AFTER, THEY SAID THAT THERE IS NO ONE THERE, THEY ARE CLOSED! THEN THEY TELL ME I NEED TO CALL THEM TO SET AN APPOINTMENT! HOW DOES THAT MAKES SENSE? UPS IS SHIPPING SOMETHING TO ME, AND THEN TELLS ME I NEED TO CALL THEM TO SET AN APPOINTMENT FOR DELIVERY?????? AND THEY DON'T EVEN CALL ME UNTIL THEY ARE CLOSED ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY TO TRY AND SET APPOINTMENT??? AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SAYS I NEED TO CALL AND THAT ITS MY FAULT THEY COULD NOT SET APPOINTMENT! IVE ALREADY TOLD THEM 2 TIMES PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT THAT THEY DO THIS, AND THEY STILL PROCEED LIKE THIS!
I believe that UPS needs to run more efficiently. It be more believable that weather was to blame, if deliver delays were closer to the same number of days operations may have been closed due to ice and weather. The delays at this point are just poor management and...
