UPS in Palestine, Texas - Ship to wrong address (often) - Always late

The Mesquite and Palestine UPS hubs are horrible. There are always delays. When tracking deliveries, I frequently get this message: "Your package encountered a delay. We expect your delivery will be postponed by one business day." More frequently, the drivers deliver packages to the wrong address. Sometimes a house down the road, and other times on the steps of a business (that I have nothing to do with). I have called them several times and told them exactly how to find my address, and yet, I still get this message when tracking: "A correct street number is needed for delivery. UPS is attempting to obtain this information. / Delivery rescheduled." Forget calling the corporate headquarters, they just put you on hold (with no music or follow-ups) then drop the call after ten minutes or so. Calling the local UPS office in Palestine, Texas : 903-723-2903 will get you no where either. The entire operation seems to be rotten from the head down. I called the company I ordered from most recently and asked them to offer other delivery services other than UPS. I will never voluntarily mail anything through UPS again in my life.

UPS will not release packages.

Today I went to the Denton, Texas UPS center to pickup my package. I arrived at the center at 1am and was not put on this mornings truck to go to the homes. They refuse to release the package even though it had been scanned into the center. They claim its still on the trailer, but why is no one working the trailers? It clearly shows UPS does not have the manpower to handle this years work load. I wonder how much their CEO's bonuses will be at the expense of their workers extra efforts to handle the shortfall in manpower. They clearly have understaffed themselves this year. I used to work for this pos operation. A reeeal *** was in charge of our distribution center.

He would cut hours back so bad and I would be left all alone at the distribution warehouse handling dispatch and could NOT even get up for bathroom breaks or even lunch!! If I complained I was threatened that 'someone else would love to have my job.' The ddiick that would leave me all alone at dispatch for hours would come back reeking of beer. I HATED working for ups. A lotttt of bs goes on behind the scenes!

Just like a lot of huge companies I suppose.

I quit and never bothered to go through the headache of trying to sue for all the labor laws they break. I knew it would be a major uphill battle, me vs big brown

"I wonder how much their CEO's bonuses will be at the expense of their workers extra efforts to handle the shortfall in manpower." What extra efforts? Does not seem to me, that they went to any (or you would have had your box).....so there is your answer.

Getting NO UPS deliveries to home

We are getting NO deliveries via UPS. Per the predicted forecast, our area experienced some freezing precipitation OVER A WEEK AGO. Ice on streets, schools, etc. closed for several days. Some people DON"T have the luxury of staying off the roads. So they learn how to drive and do it. I'm one of those people and drove every single day, and I'm just a measly Texas driver but THIS IS THEIR BUSINESS!! It's all they do. It's December. Being that it's the weeks before Christmas, we have many packages in transit. Have recieved NONE from UPS. FedEx is delivering and hasn't seemed to miss a beat. UPS tracking showed several packages held at another state facility for over a week! Finally, yesterday, we saw "delivered to front porch". No package. Spent 40 minutes on the phone. Several hours and 2 more phone calls... turns out driver said he put them "at the front gate". No packages at front gate. Later on, find out the neighbors have one of the packages. That's as close to a delivery as we have come in over two weeks despite more than 10 pending items w/UPS. They blame everything on the the "natural disaster" weather. Today, I'm finding out that my orders from amazon.com that were "guaranteed 2-day shipping", spent two days being "shipped" by UPS then dumped at a central post office!! So it'll surely be at least two more days. BUT NONE OF THAT IS THEIR FAULt. UPS told me it's the sender's fault who ordered the change. Calling is useless because all they do is: read/repeat whatever the tracking screen says, insist that NOTHING is their responsibility, and tell me NOTHING that i don't already know. Nothing is their fault. Nothing but excuses. Nothing on my porch/at my door/laying in the yard. Sadly, I will cease ordering from some of my favorite companies because they ship UPS which *** me off even more.

Horrible UPS service this year & poor customer service as well

Have had problems with UPS this year. They blame the weather, but my last package arrived in Austin, Texas where it's been in the 70s all week. It was stuck at the local Austin terminal for 5 days! Delay after delay. Took them weeks and over a week late. Am having the same problem with another shipment coming from UPS. Every FedEX package has come on-time or a day early. Another Apple refurb nano came from Hong Kong and was delivered a day early in 5 business days. The UPS package shipped from Best Buy took 15 days. When I tried to call customer service, just waited on hold for a long while, then they're system just hung up on me.

UPS in Germantown, Maryland - LATE LATE LATE DELIVERY

I ordered (3) packages for three different businesses. Apparently which all are expected to be delivered by UPS. (I didn't know that) I paid for expedited delivery (3 days), however, its been 2 weeks. When tracking my package all you see is "Exception". The first excuse was weather. That was over an week ago. The second was late trailer, and now all it says "Exception"... AGAIN!! I'm expecting to wrap my daughters Christmas gifts and yet still no presents. UPS is horrible during the holiday season. The only thing they can say to you over the phone is "I apologize". Smh

UPS in Las Vegas, Nevada - RACIAL PROFILING

I went into the UPS office today Wednesday 12-18-13 to have a letter notarized and to have a letter mailed. I had the most unpleasant experience with David Logan. Mr Logan was just finishing up with another customer, he peeked his head to the side and asked "what do you need" I explained to him with I needed and his response was totally unexpected. Sir he said in about 20 minutes I'm going to have about 15 to 20 people in here. You know my regular customers. Dumfounded I asked aren't I a customer. Rolling his eyes he said I'm by myself and cant get tied up with you. I responded Sir I don't think it will take 20 minutes to notarize 1 letter sir. At that point I was told "TO GET THE *** OUT OF HIS STORE" by David Logan. I took a few steps then when to the counter again asked for his name and his manager. He pointed to his name tag Dav that's my name. NOW GET OUT...at that point I left just shaking my head. Mr Logan had no problem helping the Caucasian woman out in front of myself. I felt very disrespected and belittled.

UPS in New York, New York - Disgusted

THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY ON THE PLANET. THEY CAN NEVER DELIVER ONE PACKAGE ON TIME. THIS HASN'T HAPPENED A HANDFUL OF TIME, BUT SO MANY THROUGHOUT THE YEARS I DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS. YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DESPICABLE. FEDEX ATLEAST TAKES CARE OF PROBLEMS RATHER THAN CAUSE MORE. WITHIN THE LAST 6 MONTHS YOU HAVE YET TO DELIVER AN OVERNIGHTED PACKAGE ON TIME ONCE. YOUR TRUCKS ARE ALWAYS LATE, YOU COME UP WITH EVERY EXCUSE IN THE BOOK, AND YOU NEVER ANSWER YOUR PHONE. PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, CLOSE DOWN SO NO COMPANY I SHOP WITH WILL EVER USE YOU AGAIN WHEN SHIPPING TO ME.

A horrible company to deal with. Exorbitant cost to help you carry your package to the curb or your door if it is freight.

I am a 64-year-old woman who was asked to unload four heavy (70lb) boxes myself from the truck to my doorstep. When I was unable to do it after several tries the driver finally got disgusted and "dumped" my boxes on the dolly and reluctantly took them to the front my lobby. From there it took me two hours of pushing, pulling, rolling, etc. to get them to my apartment.

Two of the four boxes were banged up and wet through to the contents (it was a rainy/snowy day). I guess the truck was leaky or my boxes were dumped on the ground to access other boxes. Consumer support were some of the rudest people I have ever spoken to. Don't they train these people in manners?

Will do all I can to avoid using UPS in the future.

We are entitled to better!!! Horrible service.

UPS in Houston, Texas - Stolen packages by employees; facilities without cameras; horrible customer service

I get my sister to buy and ship shoes out for me from Mississippi all the time. She went into the facility in Batesville Ms on a Saturday. they know what she sends out to New Orleans all the time. The employee at the facility packaged and taped the shoes in front of my sister. When I finally received the package I noticed the package was extremely light so I called the facility to let them know before I opened it. They gave me the go ahead to open it. Before I did, I made sure to do so in front of the business store, and I noticed the original printed sticker from the facility where it was shipped from was never tampered or ripped. (It was placed in the middle of the open where the two flaps open). The package was empty except for the two empty shoe boxes. When I called the facility again to report it they said they would do an investigation and that a UPS driver would go and collect the box for investigation. When I asked the employee for the tracking number and information she hesitated to give it to me and told me to call in the morning when a supervisor was available after she told me he was with a customer. So the next day I called again and asked for a supervisor. When I asked him what they were gonna do on their end he told me that they were waiting for an answer from corporate for the investigation. I asked him if they were going to check the cameras because it had to be someone from that facility. He told me there were no cameras in that facility or any other UPS facility and that it was my responsibility to put insurance on a package to cover for any loss. We were never offered any insurance so none was placed. I told him "cover a loss? I'm buying insurance to make sure when of your employees doesn't steal what's inside the package". He continued to argue and talk over me. He said that they would reimburse me $100.00 plus the shipping costs. The shoes were worth over $350 together. so I hung up and called UPS customer service to file a complaint with the facility about not having cameras. She questioned me. "What are you trying to report? That there aren't any cameras? There's already an investigation" she also continued to argue saying they trust their employees 100% and that's what the purpose of the investigation was. When I asked her to redirect me because she wasn't helping me, she hung up on me. My whole point is, how is it that a multi millionaire company doesn't have any cameras in their facilities? How is it that a company so large with so many employees can trust each and every one with customers packages and not have any cameras monitoring them. Basically, anyone of the employees can access your package, steal what's in it, and you won't get reimbursed full amount or get your package because you didn't purchase insurance to make sure no one working for ups steals it. horrible customer service! Horrible company ethics! And horrible staff! Never again using UPS.

Even if they had cameras do you expect someone to sit for a couple days straight looking at video to find out what happened? And even then, unless they zoomed in on each package it would be impossible to tell which was yours.

Have common sense. And you expect UPS to install thousands of cameras in its facilities on your say-so? And how would that help you find your shoes?

From all of the evidence you have presented, I would suggest you ask sis about the missing shoes. Sounds like she is ripping you off.

Something does not sound right here.

Shoes disappeared from a sealed box, and the box had not been tampered with.

AND you want $350 as well.

Hmmm.....

UPS in London, England - Everything that could have gone wrong, has.

I ordered next day delivery last tuesday. It is now 8 days later. I have called every day (sometimes up to 4 times) for some kind of information. I have been told "all I can do is ask the depot to call you about your package". I have asked for this 7 times. I have still heard nothing. I have probably spent a total of 160mins on hold/speaking with UPS to sort this all out. I was promised next day delivery last Friday. Nothing on saturday. I was promised next day delivery on Monday. Nothing Tuesday (the driver apparently got lost?? CENTRAL LONDON. NOT HARD) I was promised next day delivery on Tuesday. Nothing Wednesday ("Sorry, the driver seems to have forgotten it at the depot") I spoke with them today, and am promised next day delivery tomorrow. I have been relaying all this to my manager, (who paid the extra 19.50 (EXTORTIONATE) to get it last tuesday.) I have been warned of suspension should it not arrive tomorrow as I am relaying "incorrect Vital Information" UPS: I hope you shrivel up and die in the future economy.

UPS in Kearny, New Jersey - Left my package outside

The ups delivery person left my package sitting on top of a specimen container after an employee in the building directed him where to go or gave him the option of leaving the package with her. He just walked out and left it where anyone can walk in and grab it. Why couldn't he just leave it at desk with the other employee, she did tell him i was there... I have a hard time understanding where good customer service has gone, I tell my husband and friends this all the time. I guess they dont get paid to use their common sense...
