UPS- no next day air today 12/20/13
I paid for next day air. Tracking stopped tracking in KY, but system keeps telling me it is in transit and on-time. I worked with shipper, they tell me it is stuck in KY since 02:00, which is 14 hours ago. Shipper is now sending new package next day air with Sat delivery. I had to chat with UPS because their phone message says call volume is too high and won't put me in the ***. While chatting, UPS says it will not make it till Monday, but gives no reason why. So why won't UPS make good and get my original package to me regardless of when it gets to the local hub? That is what any other business would try to do, right? I paid $35 to get it here today, but will be lucky if I see it by Monday. Shipper is helping me out, but at the cost of poor business by UPS.
UPS LOST NEXT DAY AIR PACKAGE
Paid to have an important item shipped next day air/overnight. Guess what, package is missing. I called UPS and, as usual, they have no idea and offer NO help. Complete and utter indifference towards customer satisfaction. Normally, I would not care if a package came late, but I NEEDED this package that day because I was leaving the country. Bottom line, UPS really has no accountability to its customers, and makes ZERO effort to ensure customer satisfaction and that it actually does what it supposed to do. There are other options to UPS: I would highly suggest that you use ANY of them (FEDEX, DHL, and gasp, even the US postal service)
UPS in Calgary, Alberta - Horrible Delivery and Useless Tracking INFO
I know we had a snowstorm 3 days ago. But everyone else except UPS can make it around the city. I have been waiting and waiting for my package and feel trapped in my own home for 3 days and counting, as I don't want to miss it and then have to track it again. It is a valuable item. The package has been in town for 3 days. It took 5 days to get here from Ontario (probably by wagon train). Their tracking service is a joke.Tried to call them but their phone lines were a long wait.
UPS in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Driver left 5 packages in the middle of driveway
The house has 3 separate rental units. Today, we discovered 5 packages sitting smack in the middle of the long driveway - all for the 3 separate units. The lazy driver couldn't be bothered to take them to the separate addresses. If it had been night time, we would have run right over them! Also, last week the UPS driver went from my neighbors driveway to mine - THROUGH THE GRASS!!!! Of course left ruts for us to have to fix! Lastly, I had to drop off a pre-paid package at UPS. While there the UPS guy told a customer if she wanted the package guaranteed arrival by Christmas (a week away at that time), the cost to ship it was going to be $132. Frankly I would have returned the items I was going to ship and order them online to be shipped for free to the recipients address. $132 to ship a $15 lb or so box? I don't think so! Frankly UPS has the worst service and seems to be overly expensive!
UPS Import Scammers - Beware
UPS tried charging me $25.28 to import an item worth $35.00. I could understand a little tax, even though I rarely if ever have been charged this, but it also included a $17.25 brokerage fee for doing nothing other than being UPS. And they charged me a $2.42 duty fee even though the item was made in North America and protected under NAFTA. I called an explained this to the UPS service center only to be told they didn't care and pay up or it goes back. Do no use UPS. Their service is poor, they don't care about anything other than scamming extra money from your pockets.
UPS in Long Beach, California - WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!
I called UPS to find out about the arrival of my package.I was told that I had 1 day to pick it up or it would be sent back to the company.I told the lady I was speaking with that I had called in several times to follow the tracking and that after a few attempts of delivery a notice would be left for me to pick up the item.After I called today she told me the item would be returned tomorrow.I told her I was upset becuase I never was a left a notice where to pick up or that any attempt had even been made.I also told her when the lady came by to deliver she was already driving off by the time I got to the door.So typical of these compaines to be rude.It's not about customer service any more. Without a word she put me back on hold probably indefinetly.What kind of company is this?How rude to do that when I was expressing my experience.I will NEVER use UPS and hope they go out of business!!!!!!
Very angry with UPS right now. Ordered a Christmas present from Amazon for a friend I see once a year. Paid extra for 2-day shipping. Was told it would arrive by 8 pm 12/19 (last night). Tracked the package -- at that time, it was in Louisville, KY. No problem -- this...
Went to a UPS Counter the caissier would not surve me....
It all started Dec. 12th 2013, i went to 383 Greber Gatineau Qc to reclaim a package that was sent under my name but paid by my mother. He did not want to give me my package even though i had a tracking # my mothers credit card # witch its the same card she used to pay it, so yes of course i was very upset my mother called him directly. So he ended up giving me the package since of course all of our information was right. His attitude was unpleasent when asking him for his name he refused to give it to me so asked to speak with his boss, he refused to give me a # to contact him. So of course i left the UPS counter swearing and very upset. Today December 20th i went back at the same counter same guy, my mother called him to make sure he had all the right information so he can serve me better and yes i had all my info with me, he had the nerve to tell my mother over the phone that he refuses to give me my packages that were under my name and ALREADY PAID FOR. With christmas coming i dont have my package, have to return them by phone and send it to another location. It was our first experience with UPS and i can promise it's my last, and i will be telling every one about my bad service with UPS Gisele firstname.lastname@example.org
UPS in Charlotte, North Carolina - Next day package never showed
I understand they are busy delivering Christmas gifts. But I paid for next day delivery & that is what I expect to get. Now today, four days after original delivery date, they say package out for delivery. Well, they said that yesterday & the day before that and so on. I have called, again, 4 straight days in a row and still no package. On tracking, it says "receiver requested a hold for a future delivery date' I NEVER did such!!! Why would I pay for next day shipping if I wanted it 4 days later? I wouldn't & didn't. I will request anything I order to be delivered by FedEx from now on. I am very disappointed in UPS. This is really annoying! Thanks for nothing uPS.
UPS in Calgary, Alberta - Late and No Delivery
I know we had bad weather lately and can understand a day or two late but when I am told by their "customer service" department that a parcel will be delivered today, I expect it to be delivered today. Was told it would be delivered by 7:00 pm, waited all that time, nothing showed up. Called back, was told by the worst customer service person ever it could take until 8:30 pm. Why do they think we have nothing better to do but wait all evening for them? What kind of customer service is this? The worst customer service person ever (I'm going to call her WCSP going forward) said, "Oh - you don't have to wait". Oh right, then I just have to wait all day next day for you right? "Yes you can" the WCSP uttered, "Or - you can call the shipper and tell them you haven't received your package" "We have many, many parcels to be delivered because of the holidays". I guess they haven't figured that out beforehand. When someone says that to me, it just confirms their stupidity. Of course you are going to have more packages around this time of year!!! You mean to tell me UPS doesn't hire extra people for this workload? Even Canada Post has better delivery service than UPS. I think that says it all. Congratulations WCSP! You've just summed up the entire company philosophy.
