Driver decided not to deliver a package cause amother package was scheduled for pick up next day at ups store
It is unbelievable how these people wash their hands and keep giving you excuses on why the package was not delivered. My husband lost almost $1500 because the driver made the "executive decision" of not delivering the package today cause a pick up from store from a Completely "Different package and Company" was scheduled for next day. ..so he assumed it was ok for us to go and pick it up next day..Really?? So now they decide and have control over my time, schedule and money. The first story the rep told my husband over the phone was that the package was attempted to be delivered but no one answered which was the first lie..cause at the time they said the driver was at my house my husband was in the garage with the door wide open..no one ever came. On the other package that we had to schedule a store pick up he actually said he attempted to deliver 3 times?? Never left a single note on the door...and the lady at the ups store said "mam that is debatable implying I was lying???!!! Really?? What a crapy service...by the way this was at the Ups store in Raleigh Nc....Atlantic Avenue
UPS holding package 6 days in final location.
A Christmas package was scheduled to be delivered on 12-19-13. We had a slight amount of snow on that day. They immediately posted they couldn't deliver due to snow. I contacted RVCA to find out what was going on and UPS assured them the package would be delivered on Monday0-12-23-13. I have been waiting paitiently for 6 days. The UPS office is 1.3 miles from my home. They still have not delivered and this package was the primary gift for one of my grandchildren. Do not ever use UPS they are unreliable. Trying to reach them to say never mind I'll pick it up is impossible as no one will answer the phone. G. J. Hanna
UPS in Salt Lake City, Utah - Packages purposefully not placed on delivery truck
For the past 5 days, the UPS website has been showing that our Christmas presents have been "out for delivery". The EXCUSE I received when I called on the telephone was that a UPS manager made an executive decision to not place our packages on the delivery truck. No more. No less. No reason for his decision was given. Not that it would make it okay. And no indication that they will be put on the truck the following day either. It's *** that this UPS employee gets to decide who gets their items delivered and who doesn't. UPS does not deliver up to it's name.
UPS - Botched delivery
I brought two packages into my local UPS store in Oak Park, CA for delivery for Christmas to the East Coast to my nieces and nephews. One had a pouch to put the printed delivery slip in and the other did not as I had run out (once before I asked for pouches, they would only give me two). They were very busy so they told me I can leave it and they would handle it for me. Well, three days go bye and I ask my wife why we have two boxes from the same company we order products from. She did not know so I opened the first one and it was MY package sent back to my house with a note inside saying they looked through receipts to figure out where to send it. I was pissed beyond belief!! Of course this is Sat night so now I need to wait until Monday morning. I went in, explained the situation asking for them to pay for the extra shipping to overnight it. They refused saying not their fault. I asked how not their fault when they promised to take care of it?? No answer... I walked out telling them my business is now all going to FedEx...
UPS in Berkeley, California - Delivery being rescheduled
I had an important package sent scheduled to be delivered on Friday. I took off work and waited for hours. No delivery. They came later and left a notice. I called and asked to pick it up at the hub and was told I could not because of shipper restrictions. They rescheduled for today. Tracking showed it was to be delivered by noon. I called and they told me it would be delivered tomorrow due to "heavy volume." I will have taken off almost three days of work. I have had not so good experiences with them in the past but this delivery is a critical one and time sensitive. I hope never to do business with them again.
UPS routine lied on their delivery status and only left delivery notice without attempt to deliver
UPS on multiple occasion would lie on their tracking status that they tried delivery even though some one was home the whole day and no delivery came by or even a notice is left. In addition the subsequent tries, the agent would just came by to leave the delivery notice without even knocking the on the door/door bell to attempt delivery. Many times its required to chase them down because looking out the window saw the agent walking toward the house with just a notice label. attempts to get the agent's name and number would be met with disregard, the agent would quickly drive off. Its a definite attempt to prevent charges due to 2nd day delivery promises by UPS.
UPS in Ada, Minnesota - Haven't received my package
Supposedly it was delivered on the 13th according to the tracking until this day I haven't received anything. This is not the first time this has happened. They were Christmas presents for my brothers and now I have nothing to give them and Christmas is just a few days away. UPS has the worst service I don't understand why they still let them deliver. They never deliver on the right day or they don't deliver at all. I rather have my shopping online delivered by FedEx. After being the second time this has happened I rather pay a few more dollar to get it delivered by FedEx
UPS in Frisco, Texas - Parcels shows as delivered but did not recieve
The Tracking information showed FED EX, when I eventually contacted someone at FED EX they told me it was a Smart Post Delivery and I need to contact UPS and put a 92 infornt of teh tracking number. I have now spent the last 90 mins on the phone waiting for a real human.To add "salt to the wound" whilst listening to their recorded information about how great UPS whilst waiting for someone to become available I was suddenly cut off. I am in back waiting listening to the same " how great UPS is messages", waiting to report and issue with their delivery.I am not confident that I will be successful and it is obvious that this automated system is "cost effective" for the company even though it comes at the expense of pure customer dissatisfaction.
UPS in Saint Croix Falls, Wisconsin - Delayed Delivery = LIED to Numerous Times by Various Agents
My package was to be delivered several days ago. Every time I call they tell me another story (bad weather in MN - there was NO bad weather in MN), it will be delivery tomorrow (which was promised) - so I cancelled all of my plans for the next day to wait for the package that never came. They refuse to offer a refund for the shipping fees, etc. I have NEVER experienced such poor customer service - especially with all the lies. I will NEVER do business with them again. UPS could care less about their customer's experience. Please use other vendors for delivery.
UPS in Livingston, New Jersey - Delivered all of my Christmas presents to the wrong house, customer service told me too bad
Checked the status of a couple of deliveries for that day. Tracking number says delivered but there was no doorbell ring and nothing outside. I checked with my neighbors and no one has gotten anything from UPS. I call their customer service and spend two hours on hold, being hung up on when I ask for a supervisor just to be told by investigations that UPS is not liable for any lost packages they are only liable to the shipper. I don't care who's liable I just want to know how all my Christmas presents got delivered to the wrong house but it's not UPS's fault. Terrible customer service. Shipper is resending my entire order but some of the presents are sold out and there's nothing they can do.
