UPS in London, England - Broken promise, then lies, then broken promise, more lies

My package was not delivered as promised on Christmas Eve. I called in this morning and was promised a callback from Customer Services. Not only was this call never received, I found out later their rep had lied to me and not even bothered to log my call. I called again and received another promise for a callback; once again, no callback came. The third promised callback was due to come through an hour ago, but still nothing. Lie after lie after lie from this company. Delivery will now supposedly be in 3 days time - for a total of 11 days in transit - IF this isn't yet another broken promise. Useless.

Engagement ring went missing thanks UPS!

As of now military fiancée the only thing I looked forward to this Christmas was having my soldier home. Sadly that didn't happen! He told me that he was sending me my ring through the mail. I was more than excited for it to arrive! But that never happened. They said they "delivered" it to me but no package got to me. They also said that they are not responsible for lost packages! I'm one pissed off fiancée at the moment! The least the driver could have done was check if he was delivering to the right person! So thanks again UPS!

UPS did fantastic job

I shipped several packages with UPS over holidays, and received several. Each one was delivered on time and arrived in great condition. I was very satisfied with the service I received. But, I also ordered in plenty of time to receive my packages in time for Christmas; I didn't wait until Dec. 20 and expect to get it. We must all know by now that if you want something shipped, whether by Fed Ex, UPS, USPS, etc. we must take into consideration weather may change and also the massive quantities shipped. Do plan ahead and you won't be disappointed.

Love this planted post, don't commit to a delivery date.

Love how this four year old thinks that this is a planted post. Just because she did not get good service does not mean that others don't. Just because she was not taught to say nice things when something works her way does not mean others were not.

It is not planted, it is a clear case of an adult planning a head of time and not waiting until last minute (when they are busy) and blaming them.

UPS in Keller, Texas - Guaranteed by Christmas - NOT!!!

I had three separate packages that were guaranteed to arrive by Christmas that still haven't been delivered as of 7:oopm on 12/27. They arrived in Fort Worth (within 10 miles of my home) on 12/22, but apparently UPS couldn't be bothered to "process" the truck o get the packages delivered by Christmas Eve. Earlier in the month, the Mesquite hub held onto one of my packages for over a week after they received it. I agree with the poster who recommended a boycott, but we need to boycott the companies that use UPS as their preferred shipper Maybe then UPS will address its issues.

First and foremost I'm not a UPS employee. UPS employees work very hard to get those packages to all of you CRY BABIES/IDIOTS that expect their packages by Dec.

24th/25th. Have you CRY BABIES/IDIOTS taken into consideration MOTHER NATURE? UNDERSTAND UPS tried their hardest.

Nothing you can do when their is a Snow storm - got it!!!!

ENOUGH OF YOUR CRYING YOU SPOILED, CRY BABIES IDIOTS!!!

There was no snow storm! We had ice for two days.

That doesn't justify a week delay indelivering packages . People paid good money for timely service This is about the management at UPS cutting corners to make a bigger profit. They should have hired more employees to handle the added volume at Christmas like they used to when it was a private company.

Instead they disappointed thousands of customers to pad the bottom line. You probably got all your packages, or you would be angry as well.

The only idiots on here are the people who think that everyone "shopped too late". I personally have been waiting on a car part for three weeks. And it was the only one available. It is stuck in Mesquite with no known delivery date. They are not working on the backlog. I am sure that the employees are working as hard as they can. The problem is corporate and their poor decisions. There are businesses waiting on inventory; not just people wanting Christmas presents.

So look in the mirror if you want to see an ***.

UPS LOST 5 PACKAGES

So much for doing what you promise to do. UPS said they delivered my 5 packages from Nordstrom and instead delivered NOTHING. I can't believe that UPS could colossally screw something up so badly. I live in Southern CA... it was 80 on Christmas Eve and Day so don't blame it one the weather!! UPS lets be clear if you make a PROMISE to do something then you do it. Nordstrom to their credit reissued all the items and shipping at NO COST but because of UPS they will arrive late. Sadly compared to Nordstrom's customer service.... UPS still sucks. UPS could not be bothered to pick up the phone to resolve the issue or to take my claim. UPS aka Brown... go out of business PLEASE.

Another ups plant, just take the hit, you guys screwed up this year!

First of all I'm not a UPS employee. But from watching my UPS guy when he delivers my packages, he scans them before he leaves them on my doorstep.

Doing so signafies that the packages were delivered. Is it possible you weren't home on delivery day?

If you weren't, did you ever think that maybe someone, walking down the street, spotted them and stole them. UPS guys bust *** to deliver packages, they don't have time to wait by the door for someone who may or may not be home.

Ordered from a website that guaranteed shipping by 3pm on Christmas eve. I waited and waited and around 6pm this day (after hours of phone calls) I was informed the package had been left in a UPS facility until at least the 26th.. and it wasn't coming. I even offered...

Another procrastinating loser! Blames everyone but herself!

Its easy to blame UPS for her lack of getting shopping done with plenty of time left! That's why UPS and FED EX were so busy! Lazy screw-ups that couldn't get off their fat butts in time to get presents bought! I guarantee the UPS facilities wasn't locked up!

And I guarantee that the employees weren't spending early time home with their families! I wish they were!! They ran there *** off!

SO you didn't get you late ordered packages, don't go calling everyone bullies! Maybe next year you wont ruin your families Christmas, so try to order on time!

Life Sustaining Meds lost by UPS

UPS PR folks would have everyone think all that was delayed or lost in their most recent failure was a few Christmas gifts, in our case they lost my wife's medications that she is not supposed to be without, she is a Stage IV Cancer patient that is reliant on these medications being administered daily. UPS personnel have been unwilling to assist or update us and Our provider of the medicines that shipped them with UPS cannot aid us until they know what has happened to the shipment, so we are stuck in the proverbial Catch 22 without a paddle in the water.

UPS in Calgary, Alberta - Brokerage Charges after the fact.

A friend shipped a small package (1 Lb. @ 8X4X4 in.) valued at $120.00, from Los Angeles to Calgary, AB., Canada and a shipping cost was $23.00. I received the packaged along with a bill for $48 in extra fees. The fees included $37 for brokerage fees which is a computer transaction completed by a one fingered typist. Total cost of shipping $85. The same shipment if shipped by USPS (confirmed by them) would have been $25 for postage, $6 for Sales Tax and $5 for administration a total difference of $49. Needless to say US Postal Service is the way to go and the crooks at UPS will never get my business again.

Also this information regarding brokerage fees is clearly noted on their website.

@Knowing is Half the Battle

You truly don't get the issue, do you? The brokerage fee that is based on the shipments value and not the amount of work involved in the process isn't charged by USPS or the CDN Postal service. Use USPS and not UPS, get it.

Anonymous
#764397

In this case, brokerage fees were charged BECAUSE your package was shipped FROM the US to Canada. You ever hear of International CUSTOMS?

Evidently the person sending the package either wasn't informed in LA, or didn't understand the fees involved with international shipments. He should have paid the brokerage fee when he shipped the package, because he didn't, an additional BOND fee is added when the package is delivered.

@two cents

Brokerage fees don't have anything to do with customs, the GST or Government Sales Taxes are the fees that Customs are interested in. Brokerage fees are a money grab by the shipping company and in this case the shipping company was UPS or United Parcel Service.

That brokerage fee would have never been charged if the parcel was shipped by USPS or United States Postal Service. Like I said before "I learned a lesson, I will never use UPS again".

UPS in Richardson, Texas - Christmas present didn't arrive on the 24th of December as guaranteed

My order was guarantee delivery for December 24th unfortunately that didn't happen. I assume it's because of the back orders and not weather related.
