UPS falsified delivery

I too spent the day awaiting a UPS delivery and kept checking the tracking information throughout the day. I did not leave my house. I did not even leave the front room. I continuously looked out the window and checked my porch. UPS never came. However, when I again checked the tracking information at 8:01pm--just after the stated delivery hours had closed--I saw that the driver or someone at UPS had logged in a false statement of attempted delivery less than half an hour before, at 7:35pm. I WAS SITTING ON MY COUCH ANXIOUSLY AWAITING DELIVERY AT 7:35PM. I am outraged that UPS has simply lied about this delivery attempt, wasting my time and defrauding the company from which I ordered my goods of its fee for guaranteed delivery within two days.

Two times for me. Both times UPS conjured a report about successful delivery when in fact I did not receive my package.

First time I got lucky because I paid with Paypal and they have insurance, second time UPS claimed that someone received it and paid brokerage fees with check. I don't even own a check book:) They marked delivery date just half an hour apart from shipping date (from US to Canada :D). Amazingly, I am still disputing it although it is so obvious that somebody is just messing with the system. I am loosing super expensive phone and that somebody is going to post it for sale on Craigslist or kijiji if not yet.

Sure he/she will try to manage to sell it more than once too.

Happened to me once before: they make you pay with promise to ship hen never ship, then repeat as many times as they can.

UPS is on the forefront of breeding and feeding all kinds of scam!

UPS LEAVES> MOTHERS DAY PACKAGE SOMEWHERE UNKNOWN

My lady was getting some sexy stuff for mothers day & my leave from service. She had problems with the order from sears, but it finally was to be delivered by the end of day May 7th, 2014. She knew it was not going to be her regular delivery person when he was not here by,11:00A.M.She called & specifically told them do NOT leave @ gate as they have done before.(they never passed that on)She saw the UPS truck going back & forth & turning around in neighbors driveway. LOST AS A GOOSE,***& CANNOT READ! He headed back north & she got in her car & he was making a delivery maybe a mile away @ a business, so she come back & sit in her car for approx. 10 min.@ the gate! He NEVER come back. She called UPS & they said it was delivered & left @ the gate. She said it was NOT at this gate. They now have left her to deal & get her refund with no help from UPS @ all. If you want to order a pkg. NEVER use UPS! This is NOT right, the driver was John Armstrong & the supervisor was Todd McKee. She even spoke to another woman supervisor(JACKIE) that was going to take it upon herself & try to make another order,which @ this point is fraud.She just wants a refund,there was a hassle getting it shipped with the tracking # & then NEVER receiving it by the IDIOTS @ UPS. WHY WOULD SHE WANT TO TURN AROUND & GO THROUGH THAT AGAIN>It would be> TOO LATE FOR MOTHERS DAY! I would like to have chat with THEESE CHUMPS & I STILL MAY! She was so stressed last night & does not deal with stress well, because, she had been on the phone for hrs holding,being transferred. NOT GETTING TO THE RIGHT PERSON< GETTING DISCONNECTED< A STORM WAS COMING! UPS should have taken care of this.Use anyone,but UPS they are getting to be known for this type stuff & some things cannot be replaced. This was a MOTHER DAY present that's what makes it so bad! They are IDIOTS for the most! The little *** she talk to him on the phone said the letters on the mailbox was not big enough,well the US POSTAL sees them as well as Fed-Ex, DHL.ONLY trouble with not getting items is ONLY with UPS! Yes, Sulphur Springs is really bad about the UPS drivers, we try NOT to ever deal with them, so sorry to hear that :cry Its a shame @ mothers day! They should be the ones to help, turn them in to consumer affairs, their driving permits,BBB & a list you can find on line.

Turn them all in for this. I would be mad too! Sure messed up a nice mothers day weekend I am sure.

Do not stop stay on them. And NEVER LET UP!

DELIVERY GUY IS A LAZY LIAR!!

Package arrived on time in Edmonton, AB-- was out for delivery the next day. I waited all day and come 7:33pm driver updates status to "unable to collect funds on first attempt" WHEN HE NEVER CAME BY. And for the second attempt which is today, THE SAME THING HAPPENED!! Now I have to pick up my parcel ON MY OWN. What did I pay them for?! ***, lazy, liars. I DONT EVEN HAVE A STUB because HE DIDNT LEAVE ANY because HE WAS NEVER HERE!! I should have just picked up my parcel the moment it got here!! Useless drivers what are they getting paid for?? To slack off??!!

UPS Next Day Air Saver

I have been receiving this for long time. When someone ship a package via UPS Next Day Air Saver, i will be waiting for the whole day from 7am to 8pm. they always deliver at residential address at last. *** process!!! why would someone pay more money and wait for the whole day. Idiots. Fedex is much better. Whoever is shipping can usually pay less than $2 more to have it guaranteed there by the morning, so take it up with them, not UPS.

UPS MyChoice really should be called NoChoice. Before I get started on that let me first say why the *** don't they deliver to residences when people are actually at home instead of during the day when people are at work. After an unsuccessful attempt to have someone sign for the package they sent it back to their shipping center which is 30 miles away! So then the delivery schedule shows that they will attempt delivery two more times, both when everyone will be at work, I was offered the "solution" to have the delivery time changed or ship to UPS Store through the MyChoice site. My tracking number never transferred to the MyChoice site so this was basically useless. Well it turns out that if you try to have a package shipped to a different address than what is the billing address of your cell phone (which is what I was trying to do) the system won't let you. Also in all it's wisdom it asks to send you a code via text or voicemail in order to authenticate your info. But of course that didn't work because of the billing address issue. So ultimately I had to have UPS send the package back to the shipper and start the process all over again. This time I most definitely will select in store pick up. Thanks for nothing UPS!!!

Once again someone complaining UPS delivers during business hours. When exactly would you like for them to deliver the package to you?

How about about 6PM when you are just sitting down to eat and get a knock on the door? Or 9 or 10 when you're getting ready for bed?

The writer didn't say it would be a problem for deliveries to come at 6 pm or 9 pm or 10 pm. So there's no need to assume this in your response.

On the main item which the writer addressed: the company can address the issue by having two or even three delivery-blocks with different charges.

People who want evening delivery hours can have it for additional cost.

The extra cost paying for the extra overhead the company incurs for extending delivery hours beyond the traditional business day. Some people would complain about this, but most would understand the business logic and have no problem paying more for evening or weekend delivery.

"I was expecting a parcel between 24-25th nov from WES Canada which was shipped by them on 21st nov.I had to pay extra amount so that the parcel reaches me ASAP almost 87CAD $.Surprisingly I have still not received the same though the same has reached India and in India it lied in mumbai for 4 days and in Chennai till today evening from 24th Nov which should have reached cuttack by 25th or 26th latest.When I called UPS, the customer service from US raised their hand stating that I have to contact their India office and that they cant pass on any info or help.India office toll free no gets disconnected everytime...The agents that UPS uses also donot have enough connectivity here in India.Bad service by UPS/Agents!!With FEDEX, BLUE DART etc around who are so professional I am also wondering why one uses UPS outside US Internationally for Faster delivery!!! "

Review about Unprofessional Delivery Service

So after waiting all day for ups to show up. It turns out the claimed they had already showed up. Left a tag with no info written on it. Looks like they just jumped out put a tag and moved on. It sucks that they don't have a way to complain on their website. Out of all the companies that deliver its always ups that wastes the most time.

Shipped to wrong address!!!!1

well reading all these reviews i know im not alone i ordered an air compressor for our car a week ago i had been tracking it all week and it was suppose to be here yesterday May 1,2014 well it said it was delivered at 5:15 upon closer inspection i was reading the email i saw it said shipped to aransas pass not i live in Ingleside so i called them explaining i never received the package well come to find out they say they could'nt find my house so they took it upon there self and change the address to my old address that i have not lived at for 2 years and left it there seriously air compressors are'nt cheap im sooo pist i was in tears i will never use ups again

Bath Products Review

Ordered bath products on 7/3/2014. Tracked package the entire time. It was supposed to be delivered today 7/8/2014 by "end of day". I was home all day with my kids & dogs who bark when anyone comes close to the house. Tracked at 8 p.m. The delivery status said delivered & left on porch. I thought it odd that my dogs hadn't barked but checked out front...nothing! I've never had a problem before. I sent my husband to check at the street west of ours as our addresses are identical except for the end. Ours ends in place & theirs ends in avenue. They saw nothing. I called UPS & the man was as unprofessional as can be. He said he would start an investigation but that I would have to contact the company that I ordered from. I called the company she was very helpful. She said in the future not to call UPS but to call them. She is resending my order. I am positive that UPS didn't deliver anything. I was home all day, my dogs never made a peep. I'm dreading that I have another 4 packages arriving via UPS.

UPS customer service screws order and service

UPS does not deliver claiming "The street number is incorrect. This may delay delivery. We're attempting to update the address". I check the address and everything is fine. I call UPS to ask why they didn't deliver. I say I've had packages delivered here all the time with UPS and this guy cannot find my address. He probably put it off till tomorrow. All he has to do is enter my address in google maps and it'll show him how to get here. UPS customer service hangsup on me. WOW!!! I call back and find out that the customer service guy changed the city name for delivery. "We received a request to change the delivery of this package. The request is in progress. / Your package will be delivered to an alternate address." Double WOW!!!

UPS - Irresponsible Driver lied about delivery

Since I ordered goods from different parts of the world, I have no control over which method of shipment my supplier used for delivery. So I get to try all delivery companies and I really love the services of FedEx and Canada Post, who will leave at note at the receiver's door (I mean the actual door in front of the house/apartment). However, I am really upset with UPS. Out of five (5) times, for four (4) times the driver lied about delivery and was really irresponsible.

Here is one of the details...

On October 8th, 2013 my artist shipped a $500 worth custom water-coloured hand drawn map for my wedding in July 2014. I waited for two months and I never received any news about the shipment. After talking to the sender, he told me he never got any call or notice from UPS about "further instructions". I called UPS Canada.

The lady over the phone told me that the package was abandoned at the abandoned department and being destroyed by UPS after 30 days of attempt delivery. She "understands" the value of it but it was destroyed already and could never be retrieved.

I was really upset and disappointed. Then there is another story from the lady of UPS. She told me

"According to what I saw, the driver tried to deliver the package but he was told that there was no such person in the building. So he left a note and left."

Ah? What?

I went to the lobby of my building, depressed. Then, at the buzzer station, I saw pieces and pieces of UPS stickers on the wall outside the building. "Final delivery attempt".

The wind howled and blew when I opened the door. One piece of UPS slip felt on the floor.

Bad delivery habit

Among many other complaints against this large bodied lazy brain delivery man, today was the worst. My 72 lbs recliners was dropped between my cars in the driveway . He didnt even bother ringing but I opened the door before he got back into his truck and he was non chalant and didnt give me a chance to complain and left. I had to drag that bulky huge package into the house with the help of my wife. A normal responsible man would leave it at the door step. This particular neanderthal will have a bad day some day if I can catch him before the delivery.Serving our area for the last two years. I always worry about my amazon products reaching me safe when it comes via UPS. UPS sucks .

Had the Driver left in front of your front door, you would be giping that you weren't able to get out the front door of your house!

Had you bought from a furniture store, they woulda delivered and put it in the house for you.

Consistently late delivery

I own a small private dental practice in Denver, Colorado. Over the last year, UPS has consistently lost my packages or delivered them later the expected date. Due to the nature of my business, I need packages to be delivered in a timely manner since we schedule patients accordingly. Recently, I had a time sensitive package ordered from Indiana that I was expecting to receive on Friday June 13. According to the tracking number 1ZW52W171242****98 this package was received in Commerce City, Colorado on Thursday June 12. As of today June 16, my package has still not been delivered. This is completely unacceptable since I have paid for shipping for a specific date. The customer service at UPS is consistently rude and unhelpful including all of the management that I have tried to complain to. I have already changed several of my vendors shipping from UPS to FedEX and will continue to avoid UPS as much as I possible can.

UPS stole laptop out of Amazon shipment

My fiance and I just received our thousand plus dollar ASUS laptop shipment we ordered two days ago via Amazon Prime, the only problem was that there was no laptop in the box when we opened it. It was dropped at 6:15 PM on our front doorstep in San Antonio, TX, we knew because the Chihuahua started barking.

The driver was gone when the box was taken in a few minutes later. No bother on the part of Amazon to require a signature from the recipient (one would think that would be standard for such a high value item). The outside packaging looked fine. The shipping stated 6 lbs, however, it was about 5 lbs short of that.

I opened the shipping box from the bottom. The inside manufacturer box had a rip on its side. The laptop was gone but the accessories were left behind. Upon closer inspection I found that the clear packing tape on the top of the box had been cut open and then carefully re-taped.

I don't know why Amazon wouldn't ship expensive items with their tamper evident logo tape.

Very disappointed in Amazon and UPS. Waiting to see if Amazon will refund for the missing item.

Personally, I think very little about the integrity of Amazon.

Several years ago Amazon shipped a Pirated copy of 'FileMaker', and refused to make good on a claim.

Amazon refunded the money. I understand the decision to not sign, but it does take liability for theft off the consumer when they don't sign that the package is what they ordered.

I don't know how UPS can allow one of their employees to just walk off with a laptop when cameras and metal detectors should be the norm for shorting facilities.

They should use automated internal controls to weigh packages throughout the shipping chain to make sure that if a 6 pound package is sent then a 6 pound package should arrive. :roll

Even if cameras are installed all over the sorting facility there is nothing to stop a driver from opening a package somewhere along their route. So the package can be monitored and show 6lbs from the time it leaves Amazon until the time it gets on the truck, but there's nothing to say a driver won't just pull over or take a few minutes at a stop to pilfer things.

Online shippers do not have a signature required on their items because if the person is not home due to working all day as many people do, then UPS has to try again the next day during regular business hours when once again the person is not likely to be home. Then the package is returned and it is a big hassle for the customer and the shipper so it is simply easier to not have a signature required.

Why Amazon didn't use the tamper evident logo I couldn't tell you. But whenever you order online do not expect the shipper to require a signature.
