UPS in Doylestown, Pennsylvania - Payed 3 day shipping, gets delayed for 4 more days.
I payed $40 for a package to arrive on Valentines day for my girlfriend. It was paid specifically for that day and in the package included her birthday gift as well, which was 2 days later. The package gets delayed until Tuesday, which is what day it would arrive if I payed for normal ground shipping. They will not compensate/refund. Basically paid $40 for 7 day shipping. Will not ever use UPS again. They just lost a customer who spends hundreds on shipping a year and earned a bad review and following up with word of mouth. Thanks a lot UPS
UPS in Toronto, Ontario - Wine Shipment Destroyed
Ordered a pickup from Vintage Wines in Ontario to be shipped to British Columbia. These people package the wines in Styrofoam containers and are very professional. According to the shipper, the pickup guy was apparently incredibly rude and did not leave a waybill. I had no tracking number, UPS kept bouncing me from one department to the other with no response for 18 days. Today, after 3 phone calls and different answers, I just find out that damage has been reported and that it has been shipped back to the sender. It's been 22 days...more to come when I get the report from the shipper.

I was tracking my package ups never tried to deliver on my expected date then I see the status say customer wasn't home when I was..Of course no first attempt note was left because they never came! What a shame....no wonder my job chooses to use FedEx! UPS in Memphis, Tennessee - No Pick Up
On 2/7/14 I called for a pickup of a package I got from Amazon. Monday 2/10/14 I called and asked if they have sent somebody to pick my package up they said yes. Yesterday 2/11/14 I called amazon again and they told me I should be getting a call today of rather they would be here today or tomorrow to pick up my package. When I received the call they lady said sorry for your inconvenience ma'am we will be sending a UPS truck to you today and that was around 1pm in the evening. As of right now 2/12/14 I still have the package and I'm highly upset poor service
UPS in Durham, North Carolina - Throwing packages inside truck
I always wondered why packages arrived with crushed edges and torn wrappers, and now I know. I was sitting at my desk looking out my window as the UPS truck pulled in front of my house. I was waiting for a new laptop. The driver disappeared to the back of the truck, and suddenly I saw packages flying through the air, bouncing off the driver's seat and the front dashboard. I thought, oh God, could one of those be my laptop. Finally, the driver emerged from the truck bringing two packages up the drive. One was my laptop. I explained to him my distress at seeing the packages being thrown around inside the truck. He said he did not throw the laptop. I had no way of knowing for sure. But, now I know this!!! You don't want to see a restaurant prepare your dinner, and you don't want to see how UPS handles your package.

UPS in Kansas City, Missouri - Out for Delivery but Package Never Arrives
I was supposed to receive two packages, one on 02/04 and another on 02/05. Well it snowed on 02/04. I understand we have emergencies. From that day, everyday the status says the package is out for delivery and at the end of the day the status is updated as couldn't deliver because of emergency situation beyond UPS control. It is 02/10 today and I didn't receive the package. They are piece of ***. We pay for service not to be treated in this way. When I call customer service, all they can do is to just track it, that's all. I repeatedly asked them to make a note so that driver makes sure he delivers package the next business day but screw it, they are not willing to do it. *** company, I wish I had a better option.
UPS in Bloomfield, Connecticut - Package Out For Delivery, But Never Arrives.
Package has been out for delivery for four business days, but has not yet arrived. On Wednesday and Thursday the reason for non-delivery was given as Emergency Conditions Beyond UPS' Control, which is acceptable given the snowstorm we had, but on Friday and Monday the reason given for non-delivery was that the premises were closed, even though I was at the office with the door unlocked and the lights on both times. The driver had never come down the driveway, had not entered our building, and had never left a failed delivery attempt notice on our office door. UPS needs to find drivers who can find addresses, or who can ask for help when they can't.
UPS in Columbus, Ohio - Our Road Has Been Clear For Days
According to the online tracking information, our three packages arrived in our city on Thursday, Feb. 6. They were scanned, and on Friday, Feb. 7, they showed online as "out for delivery." They never arrived, and the online info was changed late in the afternoon to indicate that "Emergency conditions beyond UPS' control" prevented delivery. Many roads in our area are snow-covered, but ours has been clear since Wednesday, so we should be easily accessed. We assumed the packages would be delivered Saturday, the next day. Not so! We finally called and were told that our packages would be delivered Monday, Feb. 10. When I asked why the packages that couldn't be delivered on Friday weren't "first in line" for Saturday's run, I was referred to another department; however, I couldn't speak to anyone in that department. Instead, I had to leave contact information so they could "call me back." I provided the info UPS asked for, sat on hold for about three minutes, and was told they'd be in touch.....on Monday. I hung up. Sad to think a company like this draws business away from the USPS.
