Delivered to incorrect aparment refused to do anything about it

UPS delivered my package to the incorrect address, and told me so. Then proceeded to keep me on a 25 minute phone conversation until finally, after being passed off from person to person and being placed on hold, they told me to contact the seller for a replacement. So lets recap, UPS admitted to delivering my package to the wrong address and then refused to do anything while wasting a bunch of my time in the process. Oh, and they gave me promises of reimbursement and package replacement the entire time I was on the line. Absolutely horrible customer service.

I knew I would not be home so I signed off on the back of the form. My son came home and showed the driver the signed form and the UPS driver told him that I would have to leave work to sign for the package.

I called UPS only to be told the driver can do whatever he wants.

I read them the back of the form and was told to refer to the website for their policies. Absolutely the worst customer service from the driver to the supervisor and everyone in between!

Total service failure

I run a small music shop in the UK, struggling in these times, and was delighted to receive an order for a vintage amplifier from a client in Belgium. The item was carefully packed and despatched (sadly with hindsight) into the UPS network. Tracking showed that it was on time and arrived at their BE facility..For reasons known only to UPS it was then forwarded to Germany and disappeared from tracking..status unknown...Then it arrived back at my premises in the UK having spent a week or so roaming around Europe ! My client was suitably unimpressed as UPS had no explanation for me to give him. Arrangements were made to have the item collected again and whilst the package showed a few in-transit scuff marks it was intact and suitable for (re)shipment. Instructions were given to, and acknowledged by, UPS to deliver on a specific day to ensure the consignee would be at home to receive. However, UPS 'decided' to deliver it a day early, and finding no-one at home simply left the package outside the premises, on a bench, with a note from the driver. No signature was obtained from the consignee who obviously was not able to inspect the package.. had he done so it would have been refused as it was badly damaged. UPS tracking showed the item as delivered and signed for by the consignee. Upon inspecting the goods, my client found the amplifier to be very badly damaged both externally, and also inoperable due to whatever shock or shocks it had been subjected to. This resulted in the amplifier requiring a complete electronic rebuild and construction of a new cabinet which was all paid for by my client. Notice to claim was immediately filed with UPS, who, after several days sent a representative to inspect the goods and packaging. Despite being invited to take the packaging away, the UPS rep declined and rather accepted a series of photographs taken by my client of the packaging and contents. Following this, a formal claim was place against UPS who have to date refused to accept any liability whatsoever for their multiple service failures, failure to obtain signature, failure to supply a formal proof of delivery, or acknowledge the severe nature of the damage. No offer of compensation, however small, has been made to date. Nothing further to say !

And they still have not accepted any liability whatsoever for this. UPS are rubbish, they have no professional standards, they mis-inform and fail to comply with 'acknowledged' instructions. To anyone unlucky enough to have read this and all the hundreds of complaints...join the club.....For what it's worth, don't ever even think of using UPS..If you buy from somewhere who uses their (so-called) service, try to convince them to use a different carrier...you will have better luck taping your package to a horses leg and letting it gallop off into the distance....(U)unwavering (P)athetic (S)ervice

Late delivery only hurts me

If UPS can't deliver a package on time on Friday, then, because they are cheap, they will not try to deliver it on Saturday. They should take responsibility for their mistakes instead of punishing the customer. I will NOT pay for Saturday shipping on an item supposed to be delivered Friday, just so that when UPS screws up, I can get my package only a day late. When the UPS driver comes, he should be ready with an apology and cash in hand to refund my entire shipping cost. How is it right to say you're going to do something, then not do it, not apologize, and push costs off on someone else?

UPS Mgt. Directs drivers NOT TO DELIVER my packages

UPS Mgt. has directed drivers NOT to deliver packages to my address after they said "a delivery was made on 12/22/13 & left on my front porch". I made a police report for this $40.00 package as requested by UPS but when I took it too the local hub they said, "we don't need that or want it", WTF? Soon after they decided not to leave packages & by they I mean the old driver, once that was resolved as packages were being left again..... The UPS mgt. has NOW decided 7/1/14 drivers may NOT leave packages unless signed for even after the shipper insures all packages along with NOT requiring delivery signatures and only 1 package UPS said was delivered has EVER gone missing from my address! In 12 years I have NEVER had this issue with FedEx, delivering to the same spot and leaving packages without any signature! UPS has now decided to hold my paid for, insured packages HOSTAGE, making Me Drive to the hub in order to retrieve what they have been PAID to deliver and refuse to do. I called Germany (where my package came from) to inform them I will not be able to buy directly from their company due to UPS being incapable of performing the job they have been paid to do. Needless to say the company was NOT HAPPY and I can only hope they switch to FedEx, removing Usually Pathetic Service from the suitable transporter list. UPS SUCKS! Oh, on top of making me drive to get my own package the entire box was destroyed but then again it's not the first time! No customer service with UPS as they could care less that your mad about doing their job while they dictate WHO will get deliveries! UPS SUCKS----UPS SUCKS---UPS SUCKS---UPS SUCKS---UPS SUCKS! Review from Utica, New York

My package was shipped on Wednesday and was 2 day air. The tracking number said that it was on time for delivery for Friday by the end of the day. Friday at 9pm I decide that this is weird it hasn't come and decide to live chat with customer service. She tells me the shipper didn't get my package on time (even though the website says it was tracking it on time) and then proceeds to disconnect me!!! Now I won't be getting my package until Monday so not ony do I not get my package but I wasted my money on 2 day air. I'm so fed up with ups I will go out of my way from now on to buy from stores that don't use them!!!

Delivery 2 days late after they reported it delivered

tracked delivery from Sacramento and it was to be delivered on a Wednesday . I saw it had been delivered to my front door at 9:30 a.m. but no package . so I quickly called ups on line chat at 5:30 after getting home in which I was told by ups to check with my neighbors for they might have it ..... really driver stated he left it at front door hmmmmm. After disturbing all neighbors and everyone now thinking that someone had stolen it as ups suggested . everyone is on edge . two days later a ups truck pulls up and a knock on the door proves the package arrives at front door. BOX CRUSHED, TORN, DAMAGED PARTIALLY TORN OPEN ALL THIS WITH FRAGILE STICKERS ALL OVER IT..... did not see driver he ran as fast as he could . yet I get a nasty call from ups to say that I should check my front door better next time . I then try to make a complaint to ups but there is now way to contact customer service to complain . suggestion : DO NOT USE UPS EVER SEAN C PRICE MOUNT VERNON WA 360-419-****

Delivery was supposed to be for today, but the driver made an error and it got changed to tomorrow.

I paid for three-day shipping, and when I tracked my package on the UPS site, I was told that it was out for delivery. I waited the entire day, and even made several calls to Customer Support, only to be assured that the package would be in today, however, around eight o'clock pm, my package still hadn't arrived and when I called Customer Support, I was transferred to my local UPS centre, and told that the driver made a mistake regarding my package, and so it wouldn't be delivered till tomorrow. What on Earth was that extra charge for then? The fact that they couldn't even bloody deliver it on time. Useless company. *** delivery service.

Bad Customer Service Review

So ups decided to cut their day short... THE FRIDAY BEFORE A HOLIDAY WEEKEND. So now I have to wait 4 *** extra days. They didn't tell anyone either. They just gave everyone the bird and turned around. Thanks for the inconvenience ***. And the guy on the phone was like "I'm sorry, but we can't help you"

Package dropped with no signature

Ups dropped my package off on my door step with nobody home and didn't even check to see if anybody was home, the company that it was shipped from had a note send to ups to have the package signed for and they had just left the package which will sit there for a week with nobody home and none that can pick it up so now I can possibly be stolen. What if there was 1000 dollars sitting in that box they just threw on to my step. Terrible practice by this company and all they could tell me on the phone is we apologize, they couldn't even send a driver out to pick it back up so there wouldn't be a chance of someone stealing it like they don't have drivers all over the area . Come on off it change you policies and procedures customer service is a joke. This is the second time I had this happen now all all cost I will pay extra for another company to ship it to avoid using ups. I advise everyone to not take the chance with them it's not worth it there not going to help when your package is missing.

UPS service failure AKA "Undelivered Package Service"

I sent an over night envelope with a large cashiers check for a payoff on some Oregon property. The package was left in the UPS terminal over night instead. It never left Bakersfield until the next day. This cost me money in interest and a new payoff had to be figured and resent. It is going FedEx. This is the second service failure I have experienced with UPS. To add insult to injury they make you wait 7 to 10 days to get your refund for their service failure. I would not recommend them for any type of time sensitive delivery and probably not at all.

Ups Delivery Service Review

Paid customs fee via phone day before delivery, took day off work only to hear a vehicle driving away. Courier left without delivering package and didn't even knock or ring door bell. Wasted entire day and had to wait 4 days for next delivery due to holiday. I will never use UPS again

Late delivery

I waited in all day Thursday for expedited delivery of a package. On checking i found they had sent it to the wrong place (somewhere near Hamilton, ON instead of NB) and it would be a day late. naturally they tried to deliver it on Friday when I was out due to work. Now I have to wait to see if the truck gets back to the UPS store before it closes and if not I will not get it until Monday. Something like this always seems to happen. The sender ships with UPS so this was not my choice and i am not pleased.

Ordererd a damaged table >:(

We recently ordered a table for our dining area and we had to a wait a week and half for it to come. First downside was that it was scheduled to arrive from 12 pm to 5pm and it arrived at 9 AM, when we weren't even expecting it. One of the chair legs was broken in half, and there were some chips in the wood here and there. The UPS driver probably took it on a long ride and probably broke it, or the person who packaged it was careless enough to just throw it in the truck. 900 dollars wasted, and now we don't know if they are going to ship us a new one or the same one. Very bad service UPS, this driver should be shamed.

If it was damaged, take it up with whoever packed it, as they obviously didn't pack it correctly. Also, when items get damages is not when they are on the delivery trucks, it's when they're on the conveyor belts and in the back of the semis. The actual driver you were dealing with was probably as frustrated with it as you were, as no one actually wants to deliver a busted up package.

Never received UPS delivery marked "Delivered"- delivered across town!

I purchased a dress online and a week later UPS moved it from their wherehouse into the shipping process, after I had to contact the vendor...Then, I tracked the package, and today, having received a notice yesterday that it would be delivered today, I received another message, saying it had been delivered, signed for by "Anderson".....Huh? No one by that name lives here, and NO PACKAGE. So I Call customer service and he tells me my package was delivered to another address across town, that they do have my correct address, and he will call the house where it was delivered? How does he know that phone number? Is it the UPS drivers house? What does he want with my dress? Never again!!!! Fedex, you are my new Go To!!!
