I was expecting 4 packages delivered by UPS today. We stayed home all day waiting for them. Daylight came and went and no packages, so I checked my tracking numbers. To my surprise, they were all listed as "delivered." I checked all over the porch. Nothing. ...

After not being able to locate my package, I encountered personel unable to answer my questions as well as rude management. I WILL NEVER NEVER UTILIZE THE SERVICES OF UPS AGAIN.!!!!!!!!!!

On 2/15/14 I had a package shipped to Dixon, NE. The expected arrival date 2/19/14. Never got there. I waited until Monday to check back with the store I had the package shipped from. On 2/25/14 Investigation to track the package was initiated. 2/27/14 I get a phone call that my package was located in Salt Lake City Utah. Yayyyy!!!!. I was informed that my package was be delivered to the orginal address I wanted the package shipped to. By Tuesday I might as add. OK its already been 6 days that my package is just traveling abroad. Lets add an additional 7 days to that number. So this Tuesday 3-4-14 comes and goes, no package at expected location! Wow!!!!! are you kidding me. Is this some type of JOKE!!!!! Am I on that television prank show! Because Im not *** laughing. Im calling UPS several times. First I talked to a Superviser, Michelle. She was polite and empathetic will my ordeal. She listen quietly and inquired about the items in the package. That calmed me down because I was pissed at the time. When I hung up with her I felt like she was sincere in her effort to assist me. On 2-6-14 I called UPS upon realizing that its now 2 additional days passed my expected arrival date . And ONCE AGAIN NOOOOO PACKAGE!!!! WOW!! Now Im starting to wonder what type of popcorn business UPS is operating over there. I speak with Fred Lagoona, Superviser. He needed to assure me its only been 7 days and UPS is allotted 8 days to complete their investigation tracking the package. When I inquired about getting a phone calling informing me that my package was located and would be shipped to the original address by Tuesday. Mr. Lagoona stated something to the affect that my package was not . It was only the label that was scanned. And pretty much my package was still LOSTED!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! I MUST BE DREAMING. THIS COMPANY CAN NOT BE HANDLING THEIR BUSINESS LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!! STILL TODAY NO PACKAGE. THE CONTENTS ARE VALUEBLE!!!! THE TIME WASTED ON TRYING TO RECIEVE THE PACKAGE VALUE. THIS EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN HORRILBE. I INFORMED MY CHILDREN WHO ARE ON THE RECIEVING END, THAT THE PACKAGE WAS FOUND AND IS HEADED THEIR WAY. WRONG , I FIND OUT TODAY THAT THE PACKAGE MAY BE FOUNDED AND IT MAY BE HEADED BACK TO ME. AFTER ALMOST THREE WEEKS OF MY PACKAGE TRAVELING ABROAD. WOWWWWWWW I WILL NEVER AS LONG AS THERE IS BREATH IN MY BODY USE UPS SERVICE AGAIN. ALL 600 OF MY FACEBOOK FRIENDS WILL SEE ME RANT ABOUT THIS FOR THE NEXT SIX MONTHS. REALLY IS THERE ANYONE MONITORING AND SUPERVISING OPERATIONS AT UPS. WE GUYS TRULY A JOKE. I GUESS I CAN KISS MY CHILDRENS ITEMS GOODBYE. AND CHALK IT UP AS A LESSON LEARNED.

UPS in Boston, Massachusetts - Delivery attempt posted when no delivery attempt made

UPS has a habit, EVERY SHIPMENT, of posting that a delivery attempt was made when there was not. It probably is the driver trying to save 20 minutes of his day to get home earlier, but it has happened on every shipment I have gotten from UPS. I wait and watch for UPS, the driver never comes, and then posted ion the tracking is that a delivery attempt was made, customer not available. IT IS A LIE!!!!!!!!! I have reported it to UPS and they really don't seem to care at all, and just say another attempt will be made the next business day. Fed Up. Gimme FedEx, they have never missed.

UPS in New York, New York - Do not expect refunds and insurance money to be paid.

It is extra $ for UPS. They would not honor your insurance, unless you can prove that you followed UPS packaging instruction. That is really really really difficult to do. Even if you used UPS authorized shipping center, it did not mean that your package would not be lost or destroyed by the driver. I did not claim money for the damage and lost products. It is more about moral, trust and decency UPS should show. My package was damaged, contents was lost, and the box was discarded. How did they even judge it was my problem and not their driver?

UPS in Chilton, Wisconsin - Oranges from Arizona arrived FROZEN

While vacationing in Arizona I ordered four boxes of oranges to be shipped to Wisconsin. After the order was made it became clear I would have to sign that they were not responsible for freezing of the produce which I assumed meant on the doorstep. WHen the first box arrived at my son's and no one was home, we figured the fruit had frozen because the UPS man had not put them inside and there was no one there to take them. WHEN they arrived at my house--I was here and the FRUIT WAS ALREADY FROZEN. RIP OFF! Now I find out there is no guarantee for fruit or perishables. Why would anyone think it was safe to send it if NO care whatsoever is taken??

When shipping sensitive products, insulated shipping containers and boxes help ensure product integrity. These container types are designed to protect from spoilage or deterioration during shipment.

I.E. UPS says in their terms of service it is the responsibility of the shipper to supply an insulated container.

Frozen is better than rotten. Since the customer has no control over the circumstances surrounding the shipment of the product then the company should resend or reimburse you for any damaged product IF you were home at the time of delivery.

An exception to this would be if they warned you ahead of time but you agreed to shipment anyway.

For example, a company who sells chocolates might have residents who live in southern states sign something extra if they insist on ordering chocolates in mid-August. Those trucks are supposedly refrigerated and/or heated but they don't always run the temp control like they should.

Sooooo did you eat them anyway?

Yeah, you are in Wisconsin where the temps are quite cold.

The items are shipped in a cold trailer.

You expect they would reach you at room temperature?

UPS HAS GONE DOWNHILL, DOWN DOWN DOWN...

It is pretty apparent when you get something UPS RED AIR SAVER that you have up to get i by seven at night IF you are at a residence. BUT it is clear in their information, if it is a business that article must be delivered by 5:00! (or earlier if you close earlier). I had something delivered to my work and they brought to my office which normally would have been closed. This particular day, a relative was over there doing something. They left my box with him, thinking he was a customer. WHY would you leave a box with a customer?????? And this was not in the building it was outside! it could have been anyone! Fortuately, the person is very honest and I got my package the next day. But common, Ups, straighten up!

UPS in Baltimore, Maryland - The Phone That Stlla Hasn't Came

Last week I ordered a phone from TMobile and it was supposed to come today. I live less than 30 minutes from the warehouse that it was leaving from and it was loaded on the truck at 7:11 this morning. The approximate time they gave me was from 9:30am-1:30pm. I didn't get it within that period so I called and asked where it was at. I talked to 2 customer service representatives and neither one could tell me anything that my tracking number couldn't, but I was informed that I would get it today. Hours go pass, so I track it online and at 5pm, I get a message saying that adverse weather has delayed my package. I called and spoke to a supervisor to voice my opinions and to see if I could pick the package up myself and the first time we spoke, he hung up on me. The second time I spoke to him, he said he would give me a call back in less than an hour to let me know what I could do. I still haven't received a call from the supervisor and it is almost 8pm. I have classes all day tomorrow from 11am-8pm so I wont be home to get it tomorrow. At the same time, I will be traveling around Baltimore City on the bus with no way to contact anybody in case of emergency. I have never ran into this type of problem with FedEx and will from today on out, only purchase from retailers that use FedEx to ship products.

UPS in Chattanooga, Tennessee - Invisible deliveries, wrong home deliveries, wrong street deliveries.

Time and time again I feel UPS drivers DO NOT care that the packages are not going the address in which they were paid to deliver to a certain address. Our recent deliveries have been delivered broken, left on a street which name is close but is no cigars. Last week delivered the package on a street that begins with the letter "G". My street begins with the letter "P". That person was honest and brought the boxes of items to us. Yesterday UPS tracking showed my item arrived at 11:35am. We did not leave outof the house until 12:00. Knowing it was being delivered that day, we kept looking out the windows and doors. It was never delivered. UPS has become the one to stay from for shipping .

Ups sucks

I ordered my package a week ago and then they had a delay in my area so it wasnt like it was that far away and there making me wait a whole another week. Never will I order and use ups first & Last time ill stick with fedex , they are way better. -p.s. the live chat person I spoke with in ups wasn't really helpful , nor showed that they cared about my problem/complain. Im so mad about that !!!!!!!!! Then they said they dont deliever on Saturday' because only for special deliverys that I will have to wait .

The delay was probably due to snow.... and that UPS driver probably drove in the cold and got his shoes and socks wet while walking up to your porch just to give you that package. I think UPS is way more dedicated than FED EX
