UPS in Washington, District Of Columbia - Always late

UPS is always late. Always. This is the last time I will ever have anything shipped through them. It's 7:45pm in the evening, and still no package. When I called customer service, they had no response other than "It's still out for delivery." (This review is supposed to be at least 100 words, so I will say again: late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late, late.)

UPS in Hedgesville, West Virginia - Driver lied about delivery, leaves notes at door.

Hedgesville, WV. My driver lied about one delivery saying he'd stopped by 3 times attempting to make a delivery. I complained that he'd come only twice and the 2nd time he failed to come at the time he said he would. I had to travel 40 miles to the nearest UPS distribution center to pick it up. Next delivery, we're both home waiting for the delivery my wife sees the truck in the driveway and goes to the door to get the package. The driver left a note on the garage door saying no one was home. I was livid. He came the next day, we were both home all day. He left a message at the front door. Couldn't bother to ring the doorbell. This guy is worthless. I will never use UPS again for anything. I have had to give up two subscription purchases now because of his incompetence. That would have been 8 deliveries a year without end. Spoke with his supervisor and she never once said that she would look into or take care of the problem. I guess UPS is now hiring the bottom of the USPS.

That happened to me today in MA. He lied and said he dropped it off yesterday.

His supervisor took up for him and acted like i was wrong. They have no customer service and treat customers like ***.

UPS decided to move me from my apartment finally!!

I ordered a product (a camera kit worth 274$) through amazon on March 4-2014. I always do that because their customer service is one of that kind whcih satisfies me all the time ,either I make a purchase or returns it.This time the seller was Hot Deals Electronics. The expected date of delivery of this item was March 13-2014. When checked the tracking number, it said that the delivery would be by 5pm. They tried to deliver at around 1:26pm which was opposite to the time seen in their tracking and left the first attempt delivery failure slip. Immediately I contacted UPS customer service to say that I won't be there to collect the package at that time and asked to leave that package at my door step, so that I would arrange someone to collect that immediately after they leave, which they didn't agree upon. I asked if they can tell me the time at which the package arrives, which they didn't like. They told me they would deliver whenever they can in the most arrogant tone that I have ever heard. Even then, without losing temper I managed to ask if they can contact us before delivering to our apartment which also seemed to be non acceptable to them. I was helpless as I had to go to work on Friday but was tracking the package and it again said it will arrive by 5pm and as it was the only time which I knew when the delivery may happen, I left from office pretty earlier than usual to get the package. Also in the 'first attempt failure slip' too they had mentioned that the next delivery would be by 5pm on March 14-2014. I still have the slip with me as a proof. But shockingly they had pasted the second attempt delivery slip too on my door at around 2pm. I contacted UPS and told my situation but they were so adamant that they couldn't leave the package at my apartment nor deliver it at my convenience. When asked if they have some nearby facility from where I can get the package, the arrogant lady from customer service told me that I have to purchase their 'My Choice' option for 5 dollars to avail that kind of facility. Otherwise I have to drive for 45 minutes and collect from their main facility. While I was digesting that none of the options seem to be acceptable to me, the lady on the other hand had hung up the phone without any apologies! I immediately contacted amazon to notify them that if I am still not getting my package by March 17 atleast for any reason, I am going to cancel the purchase. They promised me to get my package delivered by March-17-2014 after 6pm. As I had trust on amazon, I didn't return the package and thought I would make my husband be at home from noon so that even if the item arrives at a time different than it promised, we could get that. He waited for package from 12pm and when I came to home a around 4:30pm, the wait continued for the rest of the day. No *** arrived for the whole day I was so pissed off and contacted the seller and asked why they didn't come and they want me to contact the carrier once. I just contacted them and they gave the most strange reply that any customer or client has ever got- The receiver has moved from the apartment!!!!!!!! Having informed UPS a lot of times that I haven't received the package and I will be there on Monday after 6pm or before 11am, I am just curious to know that who has made the note that receiver has moved from the apartment. And they are asking me to collect the package from the facility without even making a third attempt to deliver it. Haven't they made enough fun of me???????? When repeatedly asked why should I come to facility to collect(facility is 45 minutes drive from my place), they have said to deliver the package tomorrow may be!! And they can't deliver it today by any means (Today's date is March 18-2014 when the expected delivery was March 13-2014)No apologies made too. Wonderful carrier service! And I would be surprised if Hotdeals electronics as a seller or amazon as the online store doesn't take any action against these kind of heedless service which makes all customers feel so low and fooled! Just because of UPS customer service, I am now back to my decision- I am returning the package. Whenever UPS decides to return, they can. I just need my money back. Had enough of this. Now I am done.

Not sure why these people are telling one time and delivering at other time. Also no right for them to lie when recipients are still there. When they promise to deliver on a day and that day itself is missed,it is their fault and I know UPS would never have any regrests and all customer service agenets are so well trained that they will not even say Sorry for that.

I have got good experience from Fedex so far.

So wouldn't club Fedex with UPS. And good to know about My Choice option for UPS :)

Once again because no one listens: UPS and FedEx do not work around your schedule. Their job is delivering packages which means they work in...wait for it...business hours.

The same time you are at your job. So either UPS can start delivering packages around 9PM when they can be sure people will be home, or they can continue to deliver as normal. Guess which one they are going with. UPS does not work around your schedule, especially when you are talking hundred of packages on a truck can you imagine if everyone wanted those packages delivered on their own schedule?

Nothing would get done.

Either have an item shipped with no signature required or figure it out. (By the way I do not work for UPS I just have seen complaints like this on here far too often)

If you are a satisfied customer of UPS and also you are not an employee too, what are you doing here in the http://ups.pissedconsumer.com/ site?

Ok so I ordered something from FootAction on 3-11-12. According to the sales person, he stated that packages take usually 3 to 4 days for delivery, & he suggested that I call to track my package the next day.

Next day came.. I called to see if they shipped my package out. The young lady said if not today definitely tomorrow!

According to UPS it was they had it in their possession on the 12th (same day), & I will get it on Monday March 17, 2014. So can someone please tell me why as of today March 18, 2014, I still do not have my package??!!

UPS in Alpharetta, Georgia - Express package delivered to another address

I was waiting for an urgent package containing car keys which my husband took by mistake and he works in another state. It was an express package supposed to be delivered by 10.30am. I waited till 10.40 and was tracking it online and it still said out for delivery. When I called them they said it is delivered to another address and that address was my community office address. we paid 33$ for that package and that lazy ups driver didn't come to deliver it to my door and instead chose and easy way to deliver it to the community office. I got late for an important meeting and had to answer my manager. And they called and simply said that he wont repeat it again. Really? That is how you treat customers ups. Atleast you should have given me some compensation. Big shame.

UPS in Arlington, Washington - Two packages held in Illinois for 6 days.

I have been waiting for two packages from the east coast for over ten days. Tracking is horrible but none tge less both packages have been held in Illinois for over 6 days. Everytime I order something in eBay that ships ups it takes forever to get here. I seriously don't understand how these people are still in business. I have recieved packages recently from India, China, the uk and Greece in half the time ups takes to get from the Midwest to seattle. And these packages arrive on the good old usps. I am to the point I request sellers that I purchase from not to ship ups. I would rather pay twice as much money than know I com tributes one more some to this worthless non customer oriented business. It is my fondest dream to see this *** poor excuse of a company go bankrupt usps is half the cost and ALWAYS twice as fast.

UPS - They sat and held a package of mine for a week, and when I asked them why that would happen, I was told this is not their problem.

The backstory is that I ordered three things from Target.com, and they are sending it to me in two different packages, because the products are in two different locations. The packages are coming from Kentucky and Arizona to Arkansas. UPS received the Kentucky package first, on Monday, and the Arizona package Tuesday. I am receiving the Arizona package first, and am confused by this. I did a Live Chat session with UPS, and I have the entire conversation: Initial Question: I don't understand how something from Arizona is getting to my location in Arkansas faster than something in Kentucky Luis C.: Hi, this is Luis C.. I'll be happy to assist you. Luis C.: I checked the status of your package in our tracking system. Our records show that your shipper selected UPS SurePost for this shipment. These shipments are turned over to your local United States Postal Service (USPS) to make the final delivery. Ali: The Arizona package also shipped to your facilities after the KY package. Ali: They were both surepost through you guys Luis C.: In this case contact the shipper about that or become a ups my choice member to be able for ups to deliver. Luis C.: With a My Choice membership, you can: - Receive free alerts by email, text and phone for inbound shipments. - Electronically authorize the release of packages that require a signature (not available in all areas or for all packages) - Request delivery on a different day, or to a different location for $5 (not available for all packages due to possible shipper restrictions) - Request delivery changes prior to the first delivery attempt - This service will also provide and estimated time a 4 hour delivery window for your location if available in your area. Membership is free with the option to upgrade to a premium membership, which offers additional options, such as a two hour time frame. These services are available 5 minutes from the time you complete your registration. To register for My Choice, use this link and follow the instructions: www.ups.com/mychoice Through this link you will sign up for both UPS.com and My Choice. Ali: It is a problem through you guys. Both packages, to me, are through you guys, but for whatever reason you sat on one of my packages since Monday, and just barely started moving it, even though the city is just 9 hours away. That makes no sense Luis C.: UPS My Choice membership we give you the option to upgrade the service of the package to UPS Ground, a fee of $3.50 will apply, once the upgrade has been completed you will be able to process different delivery changes. Some shippers restrict the available My Choice options; therefore I can't guarantee that the option you would like will always be available. Luis C.: I am sorry but this is not our problem TARGET.COM , chose this sevice. *I did edit out the part where he repeated my entire address back to me, otherwise this is our exact conversation. Luis C. was so bent on pedaling their *** My Choice membership service and blaming Target (who as far as I can tell through email notifications from Target, the packages were shipped to UPS in plenty of time) that nothing was answered. I'm all right with Surepost, but USPS will never be able to deliver my package if they never get it. UPS IS HOT GARBAGE. I would choose USPS any day over UPS. USPS is so much more reliable to me

This was not Luis , but an automated dialogue system - a software program - that you talked too. Nuance is promoting those systems as an alternative to call centers. And ups was *** to enough to buy such a system - thinking they can save money but actually *** people off :x

UPS has and always will STINK

UPS stinks plain and simple. All things considered they have a huge workforce and they have the technology to get the job done efficiently but the legacy systems and irresponsible human factor is what drags this entire company down. They hire *** near anyone who is willing to break their back and make minimum wage to haul, load and deal with your shipments. These folks hate their job and management is incompetent. They seldom deliver packages on time and good luck if you EVER try to work with customer service....I try to choose Fedex if I can because UPS is the pits!!!

UPS in Morrisville, North Carolina - Marked as delivered but no where to be found

I had a package turned over the local post office for delivery from UPS. Why this happens is beyond me. Post office marked the item as delivered but there was no package ever delivered to my apartment, my mailboxes or my apt office. Waited on hold for 30 minutes before being disconnected by their customer service. I have sent an email regarding this information as well and have received no reply. There is no proof of delivery and the delivery location said "NC, US"....really that's pretty *** vague if you ask me. I have contacted amazon and UPS about this and have not gotten anything taken care of. They are all incompetent if you ask me.

How is UPS supposed to know what the Post Office did with it?

The complaint should be against the Post Office, as UPS carried out their part of the process.

@Barry

can you remember the time when UPS took a package and delivered it?once upon they required a signature.Every since they started dropping packages at your door the company has gone downhill on a slipery slope. Now the mentality is "we'll let the USPS do it for us and charge what ever we want.Pathetic at best.Go to the USPS in the first place and get better cost vs service.toss this loser UPS company in the trash, which is where they need to be.

UPS in Walnut Creek, California - NO STANDARD GROUND DELIVERY ON WEEKENDS BUT USPS DID ON A SUNDAY!!!

My UPS package arrived at my hometown UPS hub late Friday evening. So now it sits in the Dist. Center all weekend as they apparently only deliver priority packages on the weekends. I now have to wait until Monday to receive it and packages normally do not even arrive until later in the evening. I even tried to go pick it up but couldnt do that either. This was a larger order through Amazon that came in several shipments. The amazing part to this story is today is Sunday and the USPS was at my home this morning and hand delivered another item from my order. ON A SUNDAY!!! No Priority shipping or anything. "Parcel Post"!! Simply amazing and my hats off to the Postal Service. As far as UPS... If I have anything to do with it I will NEVER use your services again. YOU SUCK!!!
