UPS - Worst company

I had a return for Amazon that was to be picked up from me. I was told it would be picked up on 9/17 between 330pm until 730pm. Monday came and i stayed home because there needed to be an adult present. Was told Tuesday they would pick it up. Again no pick up. Was promised it would be picked up on Wednesday, again stayed home all day and no pick up. No being promised it will be picked up on Thursday. All anybody can say is sorry.

UPS - Waited all day for delivery

Details
Received a text from UPS stating a package was to be delivered. After waiting All DAY, calling number to track package several times & talking to 4 different people, at 9pm the last person I talked to actually did her job & looked for package. She informed me that the package would not be delivered until the next day which is tomorrow. So what do 3/4 of UPS employees do ? I will NEVER use UPS & will inform any company that I do business with not to send it UPS.

I waited all day for a delivery which required a signature. The UPS driver rang my doorbell and in the time which it took for me to cross my 600 square foot apartment, he disappeared. I was told that he made a second attempt to deliver but I was here all day waiting....

Preferred solution
UPS, please improve your system so that customers are given more accurate and detailed information. A second email should have been sent that rescinded the erroneous one. and the reason for not delivering is more detailed or accurate.
