UPS delivery men and their HORRIBLE SERVICE

I am sick and tired of these LAZY/OBNOXIOUS deliverymen leaving packages anywhere! Someone sent me FLOWERS yesterday, Friday May 23, 2014.. FLOWERS!!!!! They were left in my lobby with never an attempt to deliver them. BTW the person who sent them paid for UPS THURSDAY delivery! I live at a 5th floor walk-up and i'm always accommodating because I need my packages and they are such consistent JERKS!!!!! I go so far as meeting them downstairs when i'm not busy or halfway ALWAYS and still this. It's pretty consistent HORRIBLE service and they have the nerve to get angry when I or my neighbors complain! They lie about attempting delivery, they have left packages outside on the street (you need to enter two doors to come into my lobby). The flowers are wilted :( I'm so fed up and upset!!!! I'm thinking of making a video abut UPS and showing the flowers. This keeps up, they will not last. ITS A DIFFERENT TIME UPS… INTERNET IS NOT FRIENDLY TO BAD BUSINESS! SAD!!!

UPS - Terrible Drivers!

UPS has a terrible drivers in my area (Whitney Place, Brooklyn, NY 11223). I live in a building, on 3rd floor and on May 21, 2014 driver just left the package in front of the stairs so anyone on my floor (6 apartments) could take it. I called to customer service of UPS to make a complaint, they apologized and assured me this won't happen again. Anyway, next time, on May 23, 2014 driver left the package on the 2nd floor! Not even on my floor! Are they kidding me??? The drivers know (always the same ones) that I have a newborn and can't come downstairs for the packages. Customer service though told me that drivers MUST bring the packages right to my door on ANY floor!

UPS in Dallas, Texas - LIED ABOUT DELIVERY... AS USUAL (NOT THE FIRST TIME)

I was expecting a package today and when I checked on my status online, it stated that the receiver wasn't home at 1st attempt of delivery at 12:16 pm Friday. They lied because I was home and I would've heard them, plus there wasn't a sticker on my door as proof that a delivery was made. I called to complain about this and the service rep said that I could come to their location for pick up or wait until the next scheduled delivery. And by it being a holiday weekend, it would be delivered on Tuesday. Thanks to UPS' poor service, this caused a major inconvenience because I really needed my order and double the inconvenience if I had to burn gas and waste time dealing with traffic to pick a a package that should've been delivered in the FIRST PLACE!!!! If I'm paying for a service, then I expect my delivery to come as scheduled!!!! UPS service sucks and is living proof that good help is hard to find these days. Y'all used to have quality service at one time, what happened? There is no excuse for poor service. Unsatisfactory. Lazy deliverers equals poor service. I will never use UPS again. You lost another customer. I'm done!

Problem with delivery

Uneducated people work in UPS.

I sent a package just documents to Russia by express on 12 th of May. But it still didnt leave USA. Its still in my town judging by tracking infromation. They tried to sent it 2 times but it kept coming back to my house because 'the receiver didnt want the package' but nobody called the receiver in russia. And it was woman's fault who works there she kept sending it back to my house. what im gonna say is they hire uneducated *** people. and this company is not reliable at all. Do not deal with UPS ever. this company should be on a court/

UPS in Jackson, Tennessee - Local "U.P.S. Store" won't honor damage claim ...

Be VERY CAREFUL using "the U.P.S. Store" in Cleveland, TN ... ... ... I sent a computer to a friend in Illinois ... the clerk at the local UPS STORE - Farmland Corner, Cleveland, TN. asked if I wanted any additional insurance above the default $100. I declined ...he weighed the package, and took my money. Found out the computer was pretty badly damaged upon arrival in Illinois. Recipient and I both contacted UPS to file claim ... he was told "Stick it back in the box ... we'll come get it for an inspection". He did as instructed ... only, instead of taking it to be inspected, they sent it BACK to Tennessee ... and during the return trip, they REALLY mangled it. THEN the fun began ... got a major runaround from the owner/manager of the store (lLee - store #3642) ... ONLY THEN was I told that the so-called insurance was ONLY for LOSS ... NOT DAMAGE ... UNLESS they packaged the shipment in the first place. Lee claimed he went to bat for me, trying to get a settlement, but couldn't or wouldn't say who he contacted or when. Yesterday ... after about 6 weeks of this ***, I went to pick up what's left of the computer ... only to have a conversation with Lee about the entire ordeal ... he was very critical of me for not having taken out the extra insurance to cover the cost of the computer ... when I asked him if they would have covered it for that full amount if I HAD taken the optional coverage, he admitted they would not ... kinda says a LOT about his business sense, I believe. He gave me information about a UPS website where they show the "PACKING STANDARDS" that they require ... he says the shipping box I used was inadequate ... it is the SAME box in which a new computer was previously delivered to me ... he said I used inferior packing materials ... he recommended foam peanuts and/or bubble wrap ... I DID use bubble wrap ... inflated pillows ... and pieces of foam that were original to the box. NEVER did the clerk ask what was in the box, or inspect the package to determine if it was adequate. All of this, and he wouldn't even refund my shipping fees ... I got to give him $20 for all the hassle and a smashed computer !!! I really need more stress in m y life ... thanx "LEE"

UPS in Los Angeles, California - M-F ONLY....Really??? We need to take a day off to get a package?

So I am getting a package delivered to my house tomorrow, but I am a working stiff, M-F at work. Just called UPS to see what my options are for delivery. I am told the package can be held at the delivery "station"......which is also only open M-F!! I asked if the package can be dropped off on our front porch, which is covered and has a small wall to keep the package from street view. I was told that it would be at the discretion of the driver, but he would have to post a label first (on first delivery attempt) saying whether or not HE thought it would be OK to leave package. NOT MY CHOICE???? It's my package. I would be willing to waive any liability, but no...not my choice. No option to drop it off at a UPS store......probably only available to those who pay the price to have that option. I don't know, feels kinda like extortion....pay us more and we'll deliver it to a location you can go to on weekends.

You can also try to leave a signed note on your door stating that UPS is authorized to leave the package and waived of any liability/responsibility.

So you ordered a package and agreed on shipping terms with the seller by doing business with them. Now, you want to complain that the shipper, who's only part in this is to take said package from the seller to the buyer, refuses to work around your schedule and abides by their company policy to give their workers two days a week off to do as they wish. Why didn't you drive to a store during the time you are not working and buy whatever you wanted from a local person and put money back into your community?

UPS in Citrus Heights, California - UNAUTHORIZED DELIVERY

UPS delivered a package to my apt complex manager instead of to me. I did not authorize the apt complex mgr to accept packages on my behalf and I have had serious problems with this individual. I asked UPS to retrieve the package and deliver it to me and they said they would. They did not. I then filed a claim with UPS for a lost package and was again told that the UPS driver would retrieve the package. I also informed UPS that I was refusing delivery, which they say on their website I can do. However, UPS has not retrieved this package and told me they can deliver to apt complex offices whether I authorize it or not. UPS employees lied to me when they said the driver would come back. Their drivers and other employees thin they can do whatever they want. They are a bad company and I will do everything possible to avoid them in the future.

Can't win for losing. They leave it at the office, you complain.

The Driver leaves outside your Apt door, it gets swiped, you complain the driver claims they delivered, but didn't.

Then you would be on here asking why they did not leave it at the Apt Office where you could pick it up, and screaming about how it is not good to leave outside your door! SHEESH!

You really expect UPS to go back out and take a package from your apartment manager to then bring it up to you? Wow. Also if you are going to quote the website you should also read the Terms of Service "UPS does not limit Delivery of a shipment to the person specified as the receiver in the UPS Shipping System."

UPS in Naperville, Illinois - Taking a box from office.

Hello, On Friday May 16, 2014 one of your ups delivery person came in to our office to deliver packages and I please asked him if he would be able to take a box with him that needed to be shipped out and he said that he would come back for it later and he never came for it. It's now Wednesday May 21, 2014 and the box is still sitting here. I hope you can please help me with this matter. I would like to know if maybe this is correct what he did but i thought they are suppose to do their job. Thank You.

UPS in Fremont, California - You call that a Customer Service?!?

UPS just had a really bad, awful, unhelpful, rude, and a total dissatisfying customer service. Snow White's crazy step mother is still way better than them. I told what happened and they should have helped me loading my huge boxes. All she did was telling me that everyone is going to be busy assisting other customers and won't be able to help me at all. I have to pick up my stuffs myself after paying a loan some of money for nothing. She then ends the convo. REALLY GIRL? UPS, I REALLY HOPE THAT YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS!!!

Honestly you sound as if you are two years old. If they were busy helping other customers you have to do the adult thing and wait your turn. The world does not revolve around you.
