Ups - Shipping Charge Review from Smithers, British Columbia

I place an order from sleek hair in the U.S. for $120.00 & requested the delivery USPS & instead it is shipped UPS which was an additional &60.00 on top of the $29.99 shipping costs Sleek Hair charged. $90.00 to ship in total. A freaken scam from both companies. My advice is to boycott U.S. purchases unless guaranteed being shipped USPS. After all the UPS complaints, WHY are they still in business. Businesses sending shipments should have to provide the bottom line costs before sending the parcel to a avoid an all & all rip off when it arrives. No professional ethics!!!

UPS could not find an address it has delivered to before

We had a package scheduled for delivery on Friday. According to UPS tracking the package was on the truck for delivery.I kept an eye on it as it was important I receive this package on the day it was scheduled, it was getting late in the day but was still showing to be delivered on time. At about 6:30 it was rescheduled for Monday, reason incorrect address. I called UPS and confirmed it was the correct address. I was told the driver could not find the address even though we have had many delivery's from the same shipper. I asked if i could pick up the package and was told the customer center closed at 5:00 pm and would not reopen until Monday. 1. How could a company as technologically advanced as UPS not find an address? 2. How could UPS not allow you access to you're package on the weekend? UPS totally dropped the ball.

uh UPS is not technologically advanced. More like semi-retarded, dysfunctional idiots.

1) Even with a GPS there are plenty of places that will not show up on such a device.

2) They do not allow you access to YOUR package on the weekend because they are closed, and aren't going to open an office/depot center for one person.

Ups - Job Interview Review from Halifax, Nova Scotia

Went to two job interviews at ups for a drivers position, And I couldn't help notice the number of immigrants employed there's. I am a white male who never did get a call back for the job and I was qualified for the position.

UPS in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Delivery window? My foot!

What is wrong with these people. They tell me my package that I have to sign for will be delivered between 1:30 and 5:30, then I get a notice it was changed to 3p to 7p. Ok so I go to work then i get a notice that they missed me at 10am. What am i supposed to do now. TAKE THE WHOLE *** DAY OFF MONDAY TO WAIT for someone to show up at 7pm! This is ***. IF YOU SAY YOU ARE GOING TO DELIVER AT A CERTAIN TIME. DO IT! I want my deliverers to be freaking delivered! I AM SICK if this every single time!

The Driver is trying to predict their route for the next day.

Best He or She can do is guess as to the time they will be there the next day.

Next time, the Driver can just put the time window as 7AM-11PM and not try to narrow it down.

UPS in Toronto, Ontario - Driver commented about the amount of money I have and purposely doesn't leave notices at my door

This is the worst shipping company! I DO NOT recommend this company if you are trying to ship a package or receive one. The specific delivery man that delivers UPS packages to me ALWAYS complains, his attitude is disgusting and makes smart remarks like "*sigh* more shoes again" and "you must have a lot of money to be always purchasing things". It is YOUR job to deliver packages!! WHY ARE YOU COMPLAINING! He purposely doesn't leave notices at my door when i'm not home. How am I suppose to pick up a package when there is no delivery notice slip to give to the counter at a UPS pick up location?? Whenever I call customer service you can tell that the people working on the phones are not trained well, they always only reply with a "mhm" and it is very noticeable that they are reading a guide or something of that sort. I have never had problems with any other shipping company other than UPS. Shipping overseas is also ridiculous, whenever I purchase something online JUST FROM UNITED STATES and UPS is the only carrier available they charge me $25 for shipping and not that that's enough since i'm purchasing something that costs $10 they want me to pay MINIMUM $40 for "extra fees". I hate this company and especially that delivery man.

UPS in Austin, Texas - Driver physically assaulted two dogs with a box cutter, seriously injuring both.

Austin Texas ... check local, state and national news for info. A *** bag UPS driver cut up two dogs (NOT in self defense) with a box cutter. Witnesses stated the dogs were NOT being aggresive and did NOT have a history of being aggressive. The driver slashed both dogs dogs with a box cutter creating serious injuries to both that requiring emergency treatment. There was NO justifiable reason for the attack on the dogs. UPS has delivered to that location numerous times without incident. UPS should be MORTIFIED and embarrassed. It may be wrong to condem an entire company for the actions of one person, BUT if UPS does not fire that driver me and my company will never use UPS again. The dogs required over fifty stitches and staples ... those are NOT just small insignificant injuries. Do the right thing UPS ... fire that michael vic wanna be *** bag !!!!

Really? NOT in self defense, cause you were there and saw it, right?

There WERE NOT any witnesses, the UPS driver went to the neighbors and TOLD them what happened so they could call the dog owners. Maybe they should get a REAL fence. And who's bright idea was it to pair a PIT BULL and a GREAT DANE together?

I don't judge breeds, but ANY dogs, especially in groups, will have the potential to get aggressive. Know your facts, quit running on ignorance.

I'm not surprised. I'd do the same to the next driver that dares to come within 30 feet of my door!

How can you claim that this was not self defense? I wonder what you would do if a Pit Bull and a Great Dane came running at you barking and you had a box cutter in your pocket?

Anonymous

I would agree but these were two huge Great Danes who rushed the driver. The dogs were outside using an invisible fence system when the driver unknowingly stepped into the yard in an attempt to make a delivery.

The dogs both rushed the driver from a blind corner and he defended himself with the only thing he had.

The dogs should have been inside or fenced in. What if it had been a small child who wandered into the yard by mistake. The driver didn't just show up with a box cutter looking to injure someones pets, the customer asked them to come there by ordering a product to be delivered via UPS.

Michael Vick owned, bred and abused dogs for the sole purpose of fighting them and making a profit. This UPS driver defended himself in what he felt was an appropriate manner given the situation.

UPS in Denver, North Carolina - Driver stated I was not home for delivery yet 4 cars in the driveway and I was home all day waiting

Contacted UPS after waiting all day for a package delivery and checking the website for updates. at 8:33 it was noted that the delivery driver attempted to deliver but I was not available. Hmmmmm 4 cars in the driveway all the lights on in my house and a doberman that didn't bark. I don't think so. There also magically was no yellow sticker on the door telling me I missed them. I think the driver just wanted to get home early because he definitely did not attempt any delivery here. Called into customer service and that did no good they logged a complaint they said and told me the local dispatch would be contacting me but still haven't heard from them. She informed me my package would be delivered tomorrow however I have to sign for it and guess what I wont be able to do that because I took today off to wait for the package not tomorrow. Oh and thanks guys that birthday present and graduation gift will not make it here in time so what a loser I will look like coming gift free.

it's cuz the driver thought they were all stolen vehicles, so he left. My package was supposed to be dleivered June 20.

It was tracked as on delivery [on the truck] but at 5:37 pm the status changed to a security check [delayed delivery]. It was a domestic shipment from Amazon.

So is Amazon now shipping Anthrax or bombs in their packages? I didn't pay for that and still waiting for the package to arrive......it's June 25th now

Ups - Shipment Information Review from Jacksonville, Florida

Package shipped usps via ups. Ups got my package here, printed the shipment information to transfer to usps at 7:53 am yesterday. Usps has not recvieved it yet. Are you kidding me? I hate ups. Last time I ordered a package, said it was delivered, it didn't show up till the next day! I called ups the woman I spoke with said she would talk to the truck driver and see what happened. Never heard from them again. I assume the driver was too lazy to drop it off in the rain. Because we had no idea what happened or if out phone was stolen we started a missing package report with google. Btw if you do that google will send you a new phone. Too bad they were kind enough to mail it the next day and the one we ordered showed up around 5pm. Because we started that report and had a new phone we had to mail the one that had just arrived back. Ups is always a *** delivery service. No matter who I order from or where I live they can not keep it together. I wish I could never deal with them ever again.
